35. I Was Pregnant Once, But I Miscarried

Brooke's p.o.v

Millicent notices I am alittle bit off at work. Millicent cares enough to pull me aside for a heart to

heart conversation. "Brooke, you are not your usual self today. What is the matter?" She confronts

me privately. I put my face in my hands and begin sobbing. She pulls me in for a tight embrace.

"The doctor said I couldn't have anymore babies after True. I was pregnant once, but I miscarried" I

confide in my coworker and best friend.
