"You appear to be a little off" Milicent observes. She still cares about me long after our brief heart
to heart talk. "I am fine" I lie hoping she would get off my case. "I am here if you need any
assistance personal or work related" Millicent offers. "Thanks. You are a true best friend" I validate
her. I check on True who working the cash register. "You look unwell. You must go home" True
advises me. My declining health prevents me from arguing with her. Millicent drives me to the
hospital where I undergo an emergency D&C.
