Brooke (approaching Ronnie): Nobody except me is allowed here
Ronnie (startled): Ms. Brooke?!
Brooke: Even in death, you care about her
Ronnie: Are you talking about True?
Brooke (straightening up True's memorial decorations): I prefer her over the actual name
Ronnie (looking up at the sky): Life is a journey from here to heaven to a very dark place. I told you she was suicidal. Why didn't you believe me?
Brooke: I was in denial
Ronnie: Why must the truth always be hard to accept?
Brooke: I remember I judged you before I got a chance to meet you. I thought you were a bad influence on True. True claimed me to be racist. It had nothing to do with your race, an African American.
Ronnie (embracing Brooke): I thank you for accepting me
Brooke: No problem. I wish True had more friends like you.
