As we walk to wherever Edward is taking me I look around at the beautiful decor. While walking up the stairs I notice I frame holding several graduation caps. "Graduation caps?" I ask. Edward smirks and says "Yeah, it's kind of an inside joke, Bella had the same reaction when I brought her here." I hummed in response. After we got up the stairs Edward knocked on the door I assumed was where I would be looked at for my injuries. When the door opened I was met with the town's rising doctor Carlisle Cullen. "Ah hello there, let's get you looked at, your injuries look pretty bad." Carlisle smiles and opens the door wide for me to walk in. When I am inside the room I look around at the pictures hung up on the wall and watch Carlisle get the items he needs for me.
"Who did this to you?" Carlisle asks. "I-Um…." I start wringing my hands together in anxiety. "It's ok, you can tell me, whoever did this to you will never hurt you again." I look up and see Carlisle's kind eyes and smile. "M-My father sir." I see Carlisle and Edward's face fall instantly. "Where is he now?" Carlisle asks with a more serious tone and blank face. "Probably out looking for me at this point, either that or he is at the hospital because I'm pretty sure I broke his nose when I escaped." I hear a chuckle from Edward "And how did you do that Lily?" Carlisle's smile was back when he asked this question. "When he was talking about replacing my mom with me when I turned 18 he was right in my face so I headbutted him."
Edward and Carlisle frowned at this. "He said what? Lily did he touch you?" "N-No he didn't touch me other than beating me and smelling my hair when he said those things." Carlisle stopped poking and prodding me finally. "Well I will make sure he never touches you again Lily, you're safe here, and you're 17 so you are well within your rights to move out of your father's home. You can stay here until you get back on your feet." I contemplated what Carlisle said and then in a split second I remembered about finding out the existence of vampires. "Can you turn me into a vampire?" Carlisle and Edward looked at me in surprise.
"Trust my Lily you DO NOT want that, your soul will be damned." Edward walked closer to me. "I want to be strong. And I've always wanted to be a vampire, please, I know I just found out about vampires but I have always dreamt of being one and promised myself if they were real that I would try my hardest to become one." I looked up in hope but just saw Edward shake his head and walk away. Carlisle gave me an empathetic smile. "He will never agree on it, and honestly I only change people who are dying so I can't really comment on it. But I meant what I said, stay here as long as you need." I looked down and said "Yes sir, thank you" Carlisle patted my arm. "Esme already made a room for you while you were asleep, it's at the end of the hall." And with that he walked out of the room and left the door open.
I walk to the room at the end of the hall and open the door and gasp in shock seeing Jasper sitting on what looks to be a huge bed. "Jasper? What are you doing here? Did I walk into the wrong room?" Jasper walks up to me. "Don't be scared of me, please, and no this is the right room, I just wanted to see how you are doing." I gasp again when Jasper reaches up and touches my cheek. When I finally look into his eyes everything changes, I'm flooded with images of Jasper and I both as vampires running through a forest, he is in nothing but ripped blue jeans and I am in a short skin-hugging black dress, then the image changes into us laying by a pond, intertwined, making out and dry humping. When I come out of the strange Images I'm shaking. "Carlisle! Esme! Alice! Come to Lily's room right now!" Jasper screams before I pass out once again.
