Hey guys! massive spoiler alert: I'm not dead!

I know it's been years since I actually uploaded anything on here, and there's a few reasons for that.

The first is my graduation from college and beginning my full time career. I literally haven't had a lot of time to work on my stories period. Most of what I have has been sitting in my folder incomplete for more than 2 years now.

Reason number 2 is a bit… harder to contend with. Honestly, after so long brainstorming and coming up with ideas and directions my other 2 stories could go… I'm honestly not sure which direction they should go anymore. There's just too many ideas and conflicting potential storylines that I'm not sure which one I want to tell anymore.

which brings us to number 3: that being the new project you are reading right now: Marvelous Remnants. I've had this idea in the back of my head for about 3 months now, and I'm almost ready to post the first chapter. It should be up and ready to go by early to mid January.

In the meantime though, I wanted to give you guys a bit of an idea what kind of story you're getting into, so here's some of my ideas that I've got so far, in the form of a clairvoyance future vision, courtesy of one of marvels most famous fortune tellers.

New York: Early December

Cassandra Webb looked on, seeing flashes of the events yet to come. For as strong Spider-Man may be, the world waiting for him just beyond the horizon presented challenges that even she wasn't privy to. A pair of feuding immortals? A world under a shattered moon? And most of all, ensuring that he and his friends lived long enough to see the New York Skyline again.

All she could do is what she had done… and pray the avengers found them in time while she tried to put together the pieces of her own broken visions.

She sighed to herself and looked to the future once more. Why couldn't there ever be a normal day in New York?

And the images played again before her eyes.

…..

"AGH!" Spider-Man cried out, Doc Ock ramming him, back first into the main desk.

"While I'm not one for the brutish methods of O'hirn and Marko" the claws of two left tentacles rotated with the whirr of a buzz saw "I will admit this is quite cathartic."

…..

"We know why he's here Spider-Man, and you're gonna need our help with this one." Curt Conners answered, not moving an inch.

Never before had Peter despised the loss of his old lab job so much. "Alright, fine. But we're doing this my way."

"Can we argue the science later? You know when we're not trying to sneak around a monster octopus?" MJ whisper yelled.

….

"Ah, there." Octavius smiled to himself. "A gem among the putrid scrap."

"Gangway! Coming through!"

"Spider-Man!"

…..

"Billy, where are you going?!"

The sound of sirens approaching was met with victorious grins. "And that's our cue. Come on!"

…..

"Claws off the kid!"

Blindside blitz. Counter with slant rush into QB slide.

"Hi-Hi-Hike!"

"Flash! Are you crazy?!"

"Spidey!"

"No!"

"Nice throw Eugene!"

…..

"Hand it over you pompous excuse for an arachnid, or these four will be torn to shreds."

…..

*shatter*

To his shock, Curt saw the control panel light up in a multitude of colors, going from yellow, to black, to white, to red.

"Spider-Man!"

"No- no- you incompetent fools! It's overloading!" Octavius backed away in fear.

"Gah!" Everyone flinched in shock. Spider-Man jumped back forced to rip off his now smoldering mask.

*CRACK*

Gwen felt her heart stop as she looked up. The ceiling above had caved. A literal ton of concrete headed was headed right for her!

"Look out!"

Without a second thought, Spider-Man changed course, the dome right on top of him when they collided, pushing his best friend out of the way. A rainbow of energy expanded over them. He felt the rubble impact his back-

-their eyes met, and everything around the pair seemed to disappear in a colorful blur.

"Peter?" Gwen breathed in shock. Eventually, the pigmented tornado completely overtook her vision.

And in a split second, everything went black.

Vale: Early December.

A gentle breeze flowed over crimson trees, carrying with it a crisp winter chill. It may have been called "the forever fall", but autumn was quickly ending in Vale.

Madame web opened her eyes, rubbing her temple. That's where the visions always seemed to end: in a world unfamiliar to either of them. but she had to keep trying. There was nothing left she could do but wait, watch, and try again. Try to figure out where the spectacular spider-man had gone.

Authors note: and there you have it. That's going to be my prologue and segway into the main story.

For the most part, this story is going to be pulling from 3 main sources in terms of marvel continuity. those 3 being the Spectacular Spider-man tv series, Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes, and in small amounts, the insomniac Spider-man video game series.

depending on how far I get with this story, I may even expand it to include other heroes and hero groups like The Fantastic 4. If that ends up being the case, my plan is to introduce them to remnant bit by bit overtime, starting with Marvel's golden boy in volume 1 and building up from there, so expect this first bit to focus heavily on Peter and his friends/rivals. (including a villain that was never introduced directly in spectacular spiderman, and one that fits the brand for remnant almost perfectly).

like I said, the goal is to have the first chapter be out sometime around January. Thanks for swinging by guys, and stay safe out there! *thwip*
