The day after Yahsourah turned three, Mary went into labor. Yahsourah saw Her mother's face and recognized that she was in pain.

"Mommy," Yahsourah said, "You're hurting!"

"Oh, honey it's a good kind of hurting," Mary said breathing deeply, "Your little brother or sister is about to come into the world."

"Can I touch your belly," Yahsourah asked.

"Sure," Mary said, "But the baby isn't kicking right now."

"I just want to take away your pain," Yahsourah said as Her mother leaned down.

"You can do that?"

"Of course I can," Yahsourah said, "It's easy. Mommy can I ask you something?"

The instant Her little hand went on Mary's stomach the pain stopped.

"Go ahead," Mary replied.

"If I were a boy, what would I have been named?"

"We were going to call you Yeshua," Mary replied, "It means Son of GOD."

"Did you know I was going to be special?" Yasourah asked.

"We knew right away," Mary replied, "The Angel told us. During my entire pregnancy we thought that you would be a boy. When I was in labor with you, I asked your father 'what if this baby is a girl'.

"I am a girl,"Yahsourah said laughing.

"Yes," Mary replied, "You are my sweet and perfect little girl."

Yahsourah was quiet for a moment.

"Why did you think I was going to be a boy," She asked.

Before Mary could answer she started pushing. David was born a short time later.

"Mommy, can I hold him," Yahsourah asked.

"Of course," Mary said, "I just need to clean him off and swaddle him and then you can hold him."

It took Mary about 2 minutes to clean David off and swaddle him. She handed David to his big sister.

"Hi David," Yahsourah said, "I'm your sister. I love you so much. One day you'll know how much I love you."

She kissed him and handed him back to Mary just as Joseph came into the house.

The next day they brought David to the temple to be blessed.

"What a beautiful little boy," Rabbi Issiah said.
