Chapter 29

Sakura

In the quiet evening, Sakura found herself wandering through the tranquil park, lost in her thoughts. The gentle rustling of leaves and the soft glow of the moon above created an atmosphere of serenity. She sniffed the air and sighed, enjoying her solitude.

Unbeknownst to her, Kakashi was taking a leisurely stroll, finding solace in the quietude of the night himself.

As fate would have it, their paths crossed near a charming gazebo nestled amidst cherry blossom trees. Sakura, momentarily lost in the beauty of the surroundings, looked up to find Kakashi standing just a few steps away. A sudden hush fell over the park, and the air seemed to shimmer with unspoken emotions. Sakura's throat felt constricted as she made eye contact with the man she had only imagined talking to on her own.

"Sakura," Kakashi greeted, his scarry eye curving into a warm smile, his normal one betraying his unease.

"Kakashi-sensei," Sakura replied, her voice betraying her true emotions as well.

They stood there, under the soft moonlight, memories of their shared past lingering in the air like the delicate fragrance of cherry blossoms.

Sakura tried to muster the courage to open her mouth to speak, but before she could do so, Kakashi spoke up.

"Sakura, I know I've caused you pain, and I'm sorry. There are things I wish I could change," Kakashi's eyes softened, a hint of regret flickering within.

Sakura nodded, the weight of the unspoken apology settling between them. Yet, the mystery of Kakashi's actions lingered, and Sakura couldn't help but express her confusion.

"Kakashi-sensei, I never understood why you used me back then and then...," Sakura trailed off, her gaze searching his masked expression.

"I heard your courtship with Hana is going rather well and reaching a proposal soon," she barreled on, her words carrying a mixture of curiosity and a touch of longing and vulnerability. She hated what she became in front of him.

Kakashi sighed, his gaze momentarily drifting away. "Hana is an incredible person, and I care about her deeply. But it doesn't erase the mistakes of the past."

Sakura, though conflicted, appreciated Kakashi's honesty. The air between them seemed to ease, and a vulnerable connection emerged.

"I hope you find the happiness you deserve, Sakura," Kakashi added, his tone carrying a sincerity that resonated with the soft rustle of leaves around them.

As they continued to share the quiet space beneath the moonlit gazebo, Sakura couldn't deny the bittersweet nature of their encounter. The past lingered, but perhaps, in the quiet of that night, they found a small measure of understanding and closure.

As Kakashi turned to leave, Sakura felt the weight of unspoken words pressing on her chest. She took a deep breath, summoning the courage to share her truth. However, as she opened her mouth, hesitation gripped her, and the words she intended to say remained trapped.

Kakashi, sensing her struggle, turned back, his gaze questioning. "Is there something else, Sakura?"

Sakura tried to find the right words, but the hesitation failed her once more. She couldn't bring herself to disclose the news about her pregnancy. Instead, she managed a faint smile and shook her head.

Kakashi, ever perceptive, could sense the unspoken turmoil. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Sakura, if there's anything you need to say, I'm here."

His hand on her shoulder felt like fire, but she didn't jump five feet high like before. With a sigh, Sakura replied, "It's just... things have gotten complicated, Kakashi-sensei, and I..."

He nodded understandingly. "I know Kiba is dating someone else now, but he's a good boy. He cares about you genuinely. I've seen you, Sakura, and the girl he's with? She doesn't hold a candle to you. Sometimes, people make choices that they think are right at the time, even if it doesn't make sense to us."

As Kakashi walked away once more, Sakura couldn't hold back her frustration. "But why did you make a move on me, Kakashi-sensei? You knew it was wronging Kiba. I… We had to take a break to clear my head after what happened, and if you hadn't come in between, things might have been different today. He's… with that girl now."

Sakura watched as Kakashi processed her words, a mix of regret and understanding flickering in his eyes.

"I was going to leave him for you," she admitted. "But you had to go bang his sister."

Kakashi shook his head. "Hana is an Alpha female whom I happen to care about very much. She is everything I want in a partner."

As Kakashi's words hung in the air, Sakura felt a surge of frustration and confusion. She wanted to scream, to express the turmoil within her, but the weight of unspoken emotions kept her silent.

"I'm sure Kiba would still take you back if you spoke to him," he continued. "Perhaps, one day, we can be family."

Angry tears filled her eyes. How dare he?

Sakura mustered the strength to pose the questions that had lingered within her for far too long. Her voice was filled with a mix of vulnerability and yearning as she asked Kakashi, "Was there ever a future between us, Kakashi-sensei? Did you feel even a little of what I felt? If things were different, would you have considered me? Or was I so meaningless that even now you look at me as just... family."

It felt like the atmosphere held its breath, awaiting Kakashi's response to her inquiries that cut through the silence like a delicate blade.

Kakashi, meeting Sakura's gaze with a solemn expression, understood the weight of her questions. As she repeated what had lingered in the corridors of her heart, this time not drunk or violent, he responded with a sense of both regret and determination.

"Sakura," he began, his voice carrying the weight of untold stories, "It's useless to dwell on past mistakes. What matters is what you have now. Kiba cares about you, and you should value that. I couldn't be with you, not because I didn't care, but because the path I walk is fraught with shadows. There are obligations, duties that tie me down, and I can't offer you the stability you deserve."

Sakura listened intently, her expression unreadable as she absorbed his words. After a moment of silence, she finally spoke, her tone firm yet tinged with bitterness.

"I never cared," she replied sharply, her words cutting through the air like a knife. "Did you ever ask me my feelings on the matter? Sasuke and you are exactly the same. I never cared because you never gave me a reason to or a chance to have a civil discussion on the matter. You used me, Kakashi-sensei, then you discarded me like I meant nothing. You talk about obligations and duties, but what about the duty you owed to me? An explanation at the very least? My consent on your effed up intentions? What about the promises you made, only to break them without a second thought?"

Kakashi's gaze softened, but Sakura's anger remained palpable. She continued, her voice trembling with emotion. "You say I should value what I have with Kiba, but how can I when I'm still haunted by what you did to me? You may walk in shadows, but you left me in darkness. I won't let you play the hero now, Kakashi. I won't let you absolve yourself of your mistakes so easily."

She battled with the desire to confide in him, to lay bare the truth of her pregnancy and the turmoil it brought. Yet, as she looked into his eyes, she saw not the man she once admired, but the shadow of someone who had hurt her deeply.

At that moment, she made a decision, one fueled by both anger and self-preservation. She would keep her pregnancy a secret from him. He didn't deserve to know, she reasoned, and not just because the chance of him being the father were very low. Despite the lingering attraction she felt, she couldn't ignore the pain he had caused her. The bond they once shared may have endured, but she couldn't allow herself to be vulnerable to him again. Not now, not ever.

"I wish you health and happiness, Sakura," he said sadly.

She nodded tightly in response, unable to articulate the tumult of emotions swirling within her. There was a time when his words would have brought her comfort, a sense of security in his presence. But now, they served as a painful reminder of what could have been.

"I know you may not forgive me now, but I hope someday you can," Kakashi continued, his gaze steady despite the sadness that lingered in his eyes.

Sakura remained silent, her heart heavy. She wanted to scream, to demand answers to the questions that had plagued her for so long which he still refused. But she knew that words were futile in the face of the past, and that forgiving him was a journey she had yet to embark upon. But for now, this closure was enough for her.

"Take care, Sakura. Goodbye," Kakashi said, his voice soft as he turned once more to leave.

"Goodbye, Kakashi… sensei," Sakura whispered, her voice barely audible above the sound of his footsteps fading into the distance.

Alone once more, the weight of her decisions pressing down upon her like a leaden cloak. She knew that she couldn't change the past, nor could she erase the pain that had seeped into her heart. But as she gazed out into the night, she allowed herself to hope that one day, she would find the courage to forgive, and perhaps even to heal. And Ino was right, it would have to begin by laying her heart bare to Kiba.

Kiba

He sneezed as his mouth was enclosed on Tamaki's nipple. Was it the cat fur? Or was it just the tremendous amount of guilt he felt once more?

He had successfully made it to her bed, and as she looked up at him with her chest bare and his hands squeezing her breasts, he wondered why something so enjoyable felt so fucking wrong at the moment.

He left it up to her to take charge at his momentary pause, and she tore off his shirt and pushed him back. His head fell back on the pillow as his mind ran amok. He forced it back to the current moment as she looked confusingly at him.

"What's wrong?" she asked. Her hands were on his boner, which had shrunk back down to medium size.

He shook his head, sweating profusely. Her fingers around his cock felt different, but enjoyable nonetheless, and he yelped as she suddenly removed his pants completely and took him in her mouth.

He groaned in pleasure and his eyes closed as he enjoyed the moment. This was better. He wouldn't have to see her as he had his fun. Both of them won this way. Yet, his eyes snapped open when she climbed on top of him and adjusted herself. She had him slip in easily enough. His teeth smashed together in anguish and excitement.

No...

This wasn't the plan. He didn't intend to go this far.

But wasn't this what was better for him? Didn't Naruto and Lee say meaningless sex is better to get over someone quick and easy?

His eyes met hers as she continued her onslaught, waves of pleasure echoing his body but he did not feel the same sort of pleasure he had previously felt. She moaned like a kitty, and it would've been cute, if his damned guilt would just subside. It was taking away all the fun.

She paused for breath and frustrated, he shifted out from beneath her and pushed her back on the bed, her face down. He stood on the side of the bed and adjusted her lower body to his height, squeezing in from behind. His cock submerged once more in her wet pussy and she gasped sexily, clenching the sheets as he pummelled her. She tried to look at him over her shoulder but he grabbed her head and forced it back down as he continued, afraid his boner would shrink again if he saw her face.

This way, he could imagine he was fucking a different girl. A girl who turned around would meet his gaze with emerald eyes. Who would moan his name as she neared her climax in a much better way than the girl who did so just now. Instead of peanut hair he would have to remove painstakingly once he got home, he'd have no problem leaving the pink hair all over his clothes and himself, so he could happily go to sleep submerged in her scent.

His pace increased and so did her moans. He focused on the clapping sounds as his balls smacked her ass, as the sounds she made were not the kind he was used to. He realized he was being rougher than usual, his arm still pushing her head down and while his other kept her pelvis steady, squeezing her butt, but she apparently enjoyed it as he gave it a slap.

"Yes," she gasped, and he continued happily, slapping her ass till it was red.

He groaned as he felt his climax. It splattered on the floor as he pulled out, taking deep, sharp breaths.

Tamaki rolled over to make a place on the bed for him, looking up at him with her face completely flushed and her hair messy. She was also taking quick breaths, a big smile on her face.

She patted the space beside her. "Come," she said breathlessly.

He looked at her and shook his head. He felt quite uneasy.

"I... uhhh... need to wash up," he said.

She frowned, pointing out the bathroom.

He turned the water on steaming, yelping as it touched his skin but he did not want her scent or any remnant on him if he wanted a peaceful sleep. The sex was enjoyable, no doubt, but it didn't mean that he'd be happy sleeping in her scent.

As he was done and stepped out, she had fallen asleep. She did not snore like Sakura either, and his nose wrinkled once more.

Grabbing his jacket, he decided to leave. He covered her with the sheets so her breasts wouldn't be exposed. Then, he silently made his way to the door and once he was out, he heaved a huge sigh of relief as he began running.
