Verosika smiled as Blitzo left her office, once more overthinking their duel. She was about to start telling them her plans before Kiki sat a text on her phone and pale at what she was reading.
"Oh, my, LUCIFER!" She screams, making the others look at her.
"What's the matter, Kik?" Apple asked.
"An angel was spotted. ON EARTH!" She shouted, shocking everyone.
"What kind of angel?" Coco asked.
"An Arch-Angel..." Kiki said, making everyone sweat.
"Where?" Milky asked.
"Amity Park," Kiki answered.
Though shocked, hearing the town's name made Verosika remember the one boy he owed for her help. She hasn't been there since, but she never forgot the kiss he gave her.
"Did it stay?" Apple asked.
"No. It returned to heaven. It's not there. But why did an Arch-Angel come to Earth?" Kiki asked.
"Well, at least we won't have worried about it getting in the way of our job," Milky said, sighing.
On the other hand, Tex notices his boss's look and knew what she was thinking the minute she heard the words Amity Park.
"Verosika..." He said, crossing his arms.
"What?" She asked, surprised.
"We're not getting him involved." He told her.
The other Succubi looked confused before they too remembered about the one boy that lived in the town. Kiki quickly check and sure enough, Casper High was on spring break too.
"He owes me for the kiss, Tex. Not to mention he was a wonderful singer." Verosika said.
"Even so, he's a teenager. You're lucky that no one reported you doing such a thing. Not to mention that both the King and Queen like him. Meaning you can't use him." Tex told her.
"Relax, Tex. I'm just going to invite him to spend Spring Break with us." Verosika said, making him sigh.
"Then hire him as your temporary bodyguard." He said, surprising her.
"Wow, Tex. We've never seen you this proactive over a human before." Josh said.
"Is it because he's one of the Trinty?" Ace asked.
"Besides that. Remember, I meet him during Bee's party. Danny is a smart person and he did have his life turned around. Both the princess and her friend would rather not have him turned back into the person he was before or be turned into someone he's not." Tex said.
"Come on, Tex. Like we'll change him into something else." Milky said.
"You girls have been daydreaming about him since you first met him. And, again, he's a teenager! Hell, even Bee understands he's too young to be surrounded by cute women who are way older than him!" He pointed out.
"Bad enough that Ozzie will try to have him live out his lust to both the princess and her friend," Tex added, recalling the meeting Bee told him about.
The others were shocked to see Tex act like this, but Verosika was thinking over the one thing that Verotex said before.
"Very well. I'll hire him." She said, making the others turn.
"He still owes me, so this won't count. And if makes you happy Tex, he can stand with you." She said, facing her bodyguard.
Tex sighs. He was pretty sure that the girls had something in mind with the boy they liked. He only hoped that he could keep him from falling into whatever plan they had for him.
Amity Park,
Danny was beyond shocked by what Emily told him and Charlie yesterday. She showed them her new pet dove and how she was visited by an angel. She went on to explain that she knew about them and that they were watching over them. Danny was home now, trying to wrap his mind over everything.
"Hey, Danny! Come check this out!" His father called.
Danny sighs, heading to his father. He was pretty sure it was a new invention that he needed to keep an eye out for. His parents still didn't believe his ghost half was good or that Charlie's and Emily's powers were not ghost abilities. He entered the lab and saw his father holding up a new blaster.
"Check out it, Danny. The New Fenton Blaster 2.0! Still working on the name." Jack said, smiling.
"Dad, that's just the Fenton Blaster with a fresh coat of paint," Danny said, rolling his eyes.
"You think so, but this baby packs way more of a punch! It's enough to blast the afterlife out of a ghost!" Jack said before turning and firing at the ghost cut-out.
He was also knocked off his feet and slammed into the wall, making Danny flinch.
"And possibly knock the life out of a human," Danny said, worried.
"Hmm, maybe I added too many cells," Jack said, thinking.
Before Danny could try and talk his father out of his idea, the doorbell rang and both father and son looked at each other.
"Are you spending time with your friends, Danny?" Jack asked.
"No, Charlie and Emily are with their families right now," Danny said, hearing the doorbell rang again.
"I'm going to answer it," Danny said, heading upstairs.
However, Jazz beat him to the door and gasped in shock when she answered it.
"Veroiska Mayday!?"
Danny blinks, surprised to see the succubus at his home. She also notices him and smiles.
"Hello, dear. Are your parents home? I would like to meet with them." She said.
A few minutes later,
The Fentons sat on the couch as Verosika drank her tea. She almost offered Danny to sit next to her, but remembered that she needed to be mindful of his parents.
"I must say, Miss Mayday. I'm surprised you know our son." Maddie said.
"I met him during my last visit here. He really stuck out from the other fans and I'll admit that I'm a little attached to him." Verosika said, smiling.
'And I want another kiss from him, but I need to keep this up if I'm going to get him to work for me for a bit.' She added in thought.
"Nice work, Danny," Jack smirks, making Danny flinch away.
"Dad!" He said, blushing.
"Not that kind of attachment, Mr. Fenton. As cute as your son is, I know better than to force him into anything he doesn't want." Verosika said, wishing she could.
"My bodyguard also knows your son. He's outside, making sure my fans don't interrupt this meeting." Verosika said, drinking her tea.
'While this isn't bad, I'll give Mrs. Fenton some point for the taste, it could use a little Beelze-juice.' She thought.
"So, why are you here?" Jazz asked.
"Well, I wish to hire your son as my temporary bodyguard for the day." She said, shocking everyone.
"WHAT?!" The Fentons shouted.
"Tex is great, but he could use some help since my crew will be helping me on stage. However, he made it clear that I should ask you first since he's still in high school, and he has his friends as well." Verosika said.
Danny blinked, wondering what she was up to. He knew who Versoika really was, but he also knew he couldn't tell his family because he had no cover story ready. He honestly forgot all about it.
"So, just a bodyguard?" Danny asked, seeing her nod.
"Well, I guess it won't hurt," Maddie said, thinking.
"Are you sure, Mom? Don't you hate Verosika's songs?" Jazz asked, making Maddie flinch.
"It's okay. I know not everyone enjoys my music, but I never let it bother me." Verosika told her.
Maddie sighs before looking at Danny.
"Well, Danny?" She asked.
Danny sighs. He wasn't sure what was going on, but something told him he was going to find out even if he said no.
"Alright. I guess I'm up for a working vacation." He said, sighing.
Verosika smiles, that was part one of her plan. Now all she has to do is win this bet and finally get a one-up on her so-called Ex. So far, everything was going her way.
Sorry guys, cutting it here. Now after Emily got her dove and met a real angel, I was drawing up a complete blank on what to write next. I even asked eecobeo for help, and I decided to bring in one of my ideas early. Just a reminder, much like Hazbin Hotel, I rarely watch Helluva Boss. I said rarely because I did watch one episode of it. But it wasn't the one that I'm doing now. So, Verosika has returned and she was talked into hiring Danny as her temporary bodyguard. Danny still owns her for the kiss, but I'm saving that for season 2.
And about Season 2, I'm going to make it into its own book. I'm close to 60 chapters, the third story that I have written that close to it, and I really don't want to make over 100 chapters. And in Season 2, we start going to the Ghost Zone, Hell, and Heaven with our heroes. And it will be during those visits that Charlie and Emily will learn about their true origins.
When I come back to this, I'll finish up the rest of the Helluva Boss episode and see if I can do a chapter with Charlie by herself. I would ask for any ideas, but let's save them after the next chapters. You're still free to send them if you wish.
