Chapter 1
It has been a month since the end of the Pokémon League inspection and Ash's exoneration. Ash and Alice are enjoying their life in the Sevestar Region with their friends. However, due to the incident, Ash is now wary of those who once believed he had murdered his mother.
Standing on the balcony of their humble castle, Ash and Alice are having breakfast with the other three Elite Four members: Mark, Eve, and Drandon. Ash asks, "So, Mark, how's your date with Serena going?"
"It was fine, to be honest. But there are still people treating her poorly because she sponsored the murderers of my mother. That whole event really lowered her self-esteem."
"I see... It's understandable, given how desperately she tried to prove Ash guilty or dethrone me as the princess," Alice sighs. "But I'm glad everything turned out the way we wanted."
Eve leans forward, curiosity evident in her eyes. "So, what's next on the agenda? You two are married now, and we've all pretty much hit the peak of our careers."
Ash looks thoughtful, his gaze distant. "I've been thinking a lot about the offer Arceus gave us a week ago."
His mind drifts back to that momentous day. A week ago, Arceus had appeared before him, sharing an incredible proposal. Arceus and Mew had come to an agreement to create new Pokémon species. These new species would only be accessible through special portals in the Sevestar Region. Installing these portals hinged on Ash and Alice's approval, marking a pivotal moment for the future of Pokémon discovery.
Drandon nods, his expression serious. "You mean the thing you mentioned at the last meeting? Yeah, it's not easy introducing new Pokémon into this world, especially if they're going to double the current number."
Alice chimes in, concern evident in her voice. "And if we bring those Pokémon out of the portal, people will be jealous and want to go into the portals themselves to bring out Pokémon. If that's the case, how are we going to solve this problem?"
Ash takes a deep breath before responding. "The Pokémon won't be able to leave the portals for safety measures, and Palkia and Dialga can enforce that. Besides, there's only one of each, and we're not planning to capture them in Poké Balls. We can interact with them, even battle them, but this must remain a secret among us, the leaders of Sevestar. After what happened a month ago, I don't trust sharing this information with outsiders."
Mark leans back in his chair, looking thoughtful. "Fair enough, so today is the day you give your reply to Arceus and Mew, right? Where did they even ask you to meet them?"
"They're still outside at the ranch," Ash responds, a hint of excitement in his voice. "How about we all go together?"
Eve nods enthusiastically. "Sounds like a good idea."
After finishing their breakfast, the group heads outside, making their way to the ranch. As they approach, they see Arceus and Mew seemingly engaged in a quiet conversation.
"Arceus! Mew!" Ash calls out, his voice filled with warmth. The two legendary Pokémon turn their attention to the approaching trainers, acknowledging their presence with serene expressions.
"It seems that you have brought along your elites and your wife here," Arceus greets, his voice resonating with a divine calmness, while Mew floats around them, giggling with a mischievous sparkle in its eyes.
"Yeah, we did have a meeting with the leaders about the offer," Ash replies, glancing at his friends and Alice, "I want to know for sure that if we agree with the new Pokémon process, where are we going to place the portals?"
Arceus inclines his head slightly. "About that, Mew and I have discussed a lot of locations. We decided to place two portals in each region, considering there are 10 regions, and we plan on making 20 portals, one for each type."
"Twenty portals? But one for each type? Aren't there only 18 types of Pokémon?" Mark asks, his brow furrowing in confusion.
Arceus takes a moment to gather his thoughts before explaining, "The first new type we have introduced is the Music Type. Music Type Pokémon harness the power of sound and rhythm, using melodies and harmonies to attack and defend. These Pokémon can create powerful sound waves and vibrations that can disrupt Ghost, Water, and Normal Types, making them particularly effective against these types. However, they are vulnerable to Psychic Types, which can manipulate their minds, Electric Types, which can disrupt their sound waves with static, and Dragon Types, which possess a natural resilience to their melodies."
Ash raises an eyebrow, intrigued. "Music Type, huh? I can see how sound waves could be powerful. But it's interesting that Dragons are resistant. I guess their natural resilience covers that."
Alice nods, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "And Psychic Types manipulating their minds makes sense too. It's like they're tuning into a different frequency."
Eve adds, "Electric Types disrupting sound waves is a clever weakness. Static interference could definitely mess with their attacks."
Mark, still looking thoughtful, chimes in, "I'm curious to see how trainers will use these new dynamics in battle. Music Type Pokémon sound like they'd have some really unique moves."
Arceus continues, "The second new type is the Chemical Type. These Pokémon are masters of alchemy and chemical reactions, capable of producing potent toxins and corrosive substances. They have an advantage over Poison Types, as their advanced chemical knowledge allows them to neutralize conventional poisons. They can also dissolve Fire Types and short-circuit Electric Types with their corrosive abilities. However, they are weak to Steel Types, which are resistant to corrosion, Ice Types, which can freeze their chemical reactions, and Normal Types, which are simply not reactive to their chemical properties."
Drandon's eyes widen in fascination. "Chemical Type Pokémon sound incredibly versatile. Being able to neutralize poisons and short-circuit Electric Types gives them a significant edge."
Alice nods in agreement. "But the weaknesses are well thought out too. Steel's resistance to corrosion and Ice's ability to freeze chemical reactions are logical counters."
Eve looks pensive. "And it's interesting that Normal Types are not reactive to chemical properties. It gives Normal Types a unique strength."
Arceus nods, then adds with a serious tone, "Remember, these Pokémon and their types will remain confined to the portal world. They will not be part of the known Pokémon world outside. Only the leaders of Sevestar will know about this new realm and its inhabitants."
Ash smiles, appreciating the complexity. "These new types will definitely shake things up within the portal world. It'll be exciting to see how we can explore and interact with them without disrupting our own world."
Mark agrees. "It's like having a whole new dimension to discover. The secrecy will ensure that we can study these new types and their dynamics without external interference."
Eve nods, her earlier curiosity now tinged with resolve. "We'll need to be careful and responsible with this knowledge. It's a huge responsibility, but it also opens up incredible possibilities."
"So all we need to do is find suitable places to set the portals, while you guys start to create the Pokémon?" Ash clarifies.
"That will be the case," Arceus confirms with a nod. "We will begin our work immediately. See you soon."
With that, Arceus and Mew teleport away in a flash of light, leaving the group to contemplate their next steps.
As the light fades, Ash turns to his friends, determination shining in his eyes. "Alright, let's start brainstorming potential locations for these portals. We need places that are both secure and easily accessible for us."
As Ash and the others brainstorm potential locations for the portals, they also consider the financial aspect of the project. However, they quickly decide not to worry about it. The wealth they accumulated from the RPA and the League inspection has left them incredibly rich, with a vast fortune at their disposal.
"Let's set up online meetings with the other gym leaders," Alice suggests. "We need their input and enthusiasm for this project."
The group agrees, and soon they are in virtual discussions with the gym leaders. When they hear about the new types, their reactions are enthusiastic. Reisa, who is in a band with Ash and Alice, is particularly intrigued by the Music Type. "This could bring a whole new dimension to our performances," she says, her excitement palpable.
Meanwhile, Tox, known for his expertise in various poisons and chemicals, is fascinated by the Chemical Type. "I can't wait to see the potential of these new Pokémon," he remarks, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.
After explaining the entire plan and receiving valuable feedback, Ash and his friends manage to draft a list of 20 potential locations for the portals. All that remains is to execute their plan, which they decide to begin tomorrow.
That night, Ash and Alice find themselves in their shared bedroom. As they hug each other, Alice asks softly, "Can't sleep?"
Ash, lying beside her, turns his head and sighs. "Yeah, I was just thinking about the whole new Pokémon thing... I mean, I wonder what kind of Pokémon Arceus and Mew are going to create..."
Alice snuggles closer, resting her head on his shoulder. "It's exciting and a bit overwhelming, isn't it? The idea of entirely new types and species... it's like a whole new adventure waiting for us."
Ash nods, staring up at the ceiling. "Exactly. It's thrilling, but I also feel this huge responsibility. We need to make sure everything goes smoothly and that these new Pokémon are integrated properly without causing any imbalance."
Alice smiles reassuringly. "We have a great team and the support of our friends. We've faced tough challenges before and come out stronger. This will be no different."
Ash takes a deep breath, feeling comforted by her words. "You're right. We just need to stay focused and work together. Tomorrow's the first big step, and we'll make it a success."
Alice takes a deep breath, her voice turning more serious. "I also want to ask you... I mean, you were labeled as a criminal for six years and have only been proved innocent for a month. Are you sure you want to go back to the nine regions? It's obvious that some people will try to annoy us."
Ash looks into her eyes, his gaze intense and unwavering. "Alice, I know it won't be easy. There are people who still see me as a criminal, who might never believe in my innocence. But we can't let that stop us. We've been through so much already, and we've come out stronger every time. The truth is, I miss the regions. I miss the friends we made, the places we visited, the Pokémon we encountered. This is our world, and we can't let anyone take that away from us."
He pauses, his voice growing more determined. "Going back is about more than just proving something to others. It's about reclaiming our lives, continuing our journey, and making a difference. Those who try to bring us down will only make us stronger. And with you by my side, I know we can face anything."
Alice's eyes soften, a mixture of admiration and love in her expression. "You're right, Ash. We'll face whatever comes our way, together. We have an incredible team and the support of our friends. We'll make this work, no matter what."
Ash smiles, feeling comforted by her words. "We just need to stay focused and work together. Tomorrow's the first big step, and we'll make it a success."
Alice hugs him tighter. "We will. Now, try to get some rest. We have a big day ahead."
Ash closes his eyes, feeling more at ease. "Goodnight, Alice."
"Goodnight, Ash," she whispers, and soon, they both drift off to sleep, ready to face the new challenges and adventures that await them.
Here is the first chapter, and I want to mention that I made 1025 Pokemon with new regional forms during my absence of writing fanfiction, and I will try my best to include them. I hope you like this chpater.
