Our story begins in the city of Metroville, where Voyd was signing autographs after defeating a supervillain.
"Thank you, Voyd!" a fangirl said.
"You're welcome." Voyd said before she noticed Violet surrounded by fans.
"Miss Stealth, you rock!" a fan said.
"Hey, thanks!" Violet said.
"Miss Stealth, if you don't mind me asking, how strong are you?" another fan asked.
Violet smiled before she flexed her arm, showing she had a bit of muscle, not like Mr. Incredible, but enough to put some power behind her punches.
Voyd was surprised, but didn't think much of it until she saw Elastigirl inflate her muscles to a massive size to fight her foes.
Now, she was starting to feel inadequate. She walked back to the Parr House.
"Man, everyone is so much stronger than me. Even Violet." Voyd said.
She walked into the house and found Evelyn walking towards a box of parts.
"Evelyn may be the only one beside me who has no physical strength." Voyd said.
Evelyn, as if to prove her wrong, then lifted the box over her head, showing her muscles.
Voyd sighed.
"I wish I could work out, but with these skinny arms, I couldn't lift a water cooler." Voyd said.
"Hey you!" a voice said.
"Me?" Voyd asked, pointing at herself.
"Yes, you! Do you want to be strong, but aren't sure workouts will help? Well, now there's a better way. With Anchor Arms!" a woman on TV said. She slipped on the Anchor Arm and inflated it.
"Even better, you can actually lift heavy stuff and hit hard with it! I was a total weakling before Anchor Arms, now I'm a powerhouse! So order now!" the woman said.
Voyd took this in and smiled.
Later, Eric was drinking a soda when someone walked by him.
"Hi, Eric." Voyd said. Eric spit out his soda.
"Voyd?!" he asked.
At the same time, Mirage was tending to her garden when Voyd walked past her as well.
"Hi, Mirage." Voyd said.
"V-V-Voyd?!" Mirage asked, frozen in place.
Finally, she approached Helen, Violet, and Evelyn, who froze in shock at seeing her.
"Voyd…" Elastigirl said.
"Is." Violet said.
"That." Evelyn said.
"YOU?!" all three asked.
Voyd, who now had muscular arms, flexed and asked, "What do you think of the guns?".
"Voyd, have you been working out?" Elastigirl asked.
"Not important, Elastigirl. What's important is how strong I am now." Voyd said before she saw a criminal escaping and punched him out.
"Case in point." Voyd said.
As if on cue, a person was pinned under a rock. Voyd rushed over and lifted the rock with ease, much to the gratitude of the civilian.
"Not so weak anymore, am I?" Voyd asked as she flexed again.
"Not bad, Voyd, but let's see if you can beat us in weight lifting and arm wrestling." Elastigirl challenged.
"You're on." Voyd said before she took on Elastigirl in arm wrestling that she won surprisingly easily.
"Wow. You have been working out." Elastigirl said, surprised.
"Okay, Voyd, let's see how you handle someone without powers." Evelyn challenged before she brought out a weight set once they arrived back home. Evelyn lifted impressive weights, but Voyd managed to lift heavier, leaving her flabbergasted.
"Violet, would you care to fill their shoes?" Voyd asked.
"Uh, no thanks, Aunt Karen." Violet said nervously.
Voyd flexed her arms again, "I can't believe how strong I am now! I can't be beat!" she said. As the days went on, she garnered more fans and more confidence.
Little did Voyd know, she would soon bite off more than she could chew. The Underminer soon struck again, this time with heavy artillery. The Incredibles found themselves in a tough battle, as the Underminer had upgraded his robots since last time. Voyd's new strength had made a difference, as they were able to destroy the robots easily, but it was when the Underminer brought out his latest weapon, a wrecking ball on a drill, that things got ugly. He was able to knock away the heroes, even the ones with super strength and caused the cave around them to collapse, forcing the heroes to duck and dodge left and right. Voyd then found herself in a tight situation where she had to protect Dash from a falling rock, but even with her strength, she found it difficult to hold up. She then threw the rock at the drill, breaking it a bit and causing it to shoot parts in many different directions. Voyd shielded herself with her arms, but felt the Anchor Arms being punctured underneath from what managed to poke beneath her suit. Before she knew it, they had deflated like balloons, much to the shock of the others.
"What the?" Dash asked.
The Underminer laughed, "Oh, how the mighty have fallen!" he said before he shot the wrecking ball at her like a rocket, only for a now enraged Voyd to open several portals and shoot the ball around like a casino ball, causing severe damage to the Underminer's machine before she dropped it right on top of the Undeminer, flattening him like a pancake.
"Voyd, that was impressive, but your muscles were…" Mr. Incredible started.
"Fake? Yeah." Voyd sighed.
"But why use fake muscles?" Violet asked.
"It was just…so hard seeing how much stronger everyone was than me. How tough you guys were, how many fans you had, how easy you could beat bad guys. I just wanted to experience that myself, but I wasn't confident enough to work out." Voyd said with a sigh before Elastigirl, Evelyn, and Violet put their hands on her shoulders.
"Hey, Voyd, you are strong. Just because you don't have muscle doesn't mean you aren't strong." Violet said.
"Yeah, look what you did with your powers. Your powers and will to do right are what make you strong." Elastigirl said.
"And if you want, we can even train you to work out. Start small, then work your way up." Evelyn said.
Voyd smiled before she heard a group of kids approach.
"Voyd! That was so cool! Can you show us portal tricks?!" they were yelling.
"See? You have just as good a fanbase as any of us." Dash said.
Voyd smiled, realizing their words were true. Muscle may give you power, but your true strength is really with you all along.
