In the corner of the library, Hirano looked up from his book, and he couldn't help but look at Kagiura, who was also reading. The upcoming exams were a big part of their respective grades, and they couldn't afford to get rusty.
This was no time to goof off, slack off, shove off, or whatever.
Hirano knew he had to get through the exams, and he had an inkling Kagiura would do the same, especially when he applied himself. Perhaps they both could get high marks, and they could go to the same university, perhaps to the same job, or something more…
Kagiura looked up, and tilted his head, arching an eyebrow. "Hmm, what is it?"
Hirano snapped out of his thoughts, shaking his head. "Huh, what's that?"
Kagiura couldn't help but chuckle. "Admit it, you were staring at me, being all studious and whatnot."
Hirano felt his face grow warm, and leaned forward. "No, I wasn't, I was just thinking, that's all."
Kagira shook his head, still with a broad smile on his face. "Whatever helps you sleep at night."
Hirano rolled his eyes, frowning. "Let's just get back to our studies, shall we?"
"All right then, but we can do something after we finish studying, how's that sound?" Kagiura said, his eyes meeting Hirano's, who could only nod.
"That…that sounds good to me." Hirano answered, and he went back to his book.
That being said, Hirano couldn't help but smile to himself, while Kagiura did exactly the same.
