Star Fox Vengeance

An alternate take of the Star Fox story that takes place at the time of the first games. The first Star Fox team failed to stop Venom from taking over the Lylat system. It's up to Fox McCloud to take his father's place as a member of the resistance and stop the mass genocide of Corneria on the tenth anniversary of the Venom Empire.

1. introduction

What if…?

These two small words can be the most thought-provoking phrase in the history of linguistics. They are the words we ask ourselves when we are coming up with any original idea; and are the center of every fictional story ever made. "What if a computer decides that all humans are threats?"; Terminator. "What if you traveled back in time and screwed up the day your parents met?"; Back to the Future. This story is no exception.

This story is based on the question: "What if things were different?" More specifically, it pertains to the Star Fox universe. Those who know their lore, know that the first star fox team was started by James McCloud, Fox's dad. They stopped Andros's' first attack before Pigma defected and shot down James. The intros to both Star Fox 64 and Star Fox Zero go into greater detail on this subject.

But what if the Star Fox team had failed the first time?

This story is my attempt to answer this question.

First off, I would like to remind people that this story is not definite; It's my take on what would happen. I did make some minor character changes and added a few that from another story I'm currently trying to finish, Star Fox: Charger.

Nevertheless, I hope you like the story I came up with. I'm writing the details as I go, so I apologize for any plot holes details that are left out. This is my first.
