Broken Spell part 1 and 2

Lately, I've been having these dreams about these six wizards who were in a battle against some fantasy-like creatures that I've read about in my book collection I have back home, in Bricksville. Only few hours away to Briarwood that became my new permanent home few years ago, where I've met up with four teens who are completely different and working at a music store called Rock Porium, who then offered me a job there and been friends with them since.
These six wizards were different colors and have not one, but six different elements.
The Red Wizard has the element of Fire.
The Green Wizard has the element of Earth.
The Yellow Wizard has the element of Thunder.
The Pink Witch has the element of Air.
The Blue Witch has the element of Water and the dark blue green one, which is the Teal Witch has the ability of being Psychic.
I'm not sure why I've been dreaming about these wizards, let alone that the Red Wizard managed to seal away this creature, who appeared to be cyber-like monster with wires on his head, in the underworld, including his henchmen. Since then, these six wizards were nowhere to be seen.
"Krystal!"
"Wahh!" I got jump scared and drop my book to the floor when I look over to see and it was Madison, with her camera in her hands. I exhale. "Maddie, you scared me."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to," She reach down for my book and saw what I'm reading. "Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz?"
"Yeah," I take the book from her and checks for dents. I frown a bit. "Dang it, thanks a lot, this is a brand-new book and it already has a dent on the spine."
"I'm sorry about that," Madison giggled a bit and began to film me. "So, tell me, what's Blue Bloods about?" I grin.
"I'm glad you asked, my dear documentary director," The two of us giggle. "Let me read you the blurb." I turn my book to the back and began reading it out loud.
"Schuyler Van Alen has never fit in at Duchesne, her prestigious New York City private school. She prefers baggy vintage clothes instead of the Prada and pearls worn by her classmates, and she lives with her reclusive grandmother in a dilapidated mansion. Schuyler is a loner-and happy that way."

"Sounds interesting," Madison tells me. "Can't wait to hear your review for it."
"I'm already on chapter three and it is interesting so far," Hearing music playing, the two of us look over and saw Madison's older twin sister, Vida is being her DJ self.
Seeing Madison head over to film her twin, I've decided to go back to work before our boss comes in to check since we opened. Hearing Madison filming, I notice Chip is being his warrior self, seeing him fighting off an imaginary monster, which made me giggle and smile at the sight. Till I saw a certain Australian boy is sitting on a chair, with his skateboard on his lap when Madison went over to him, being a show off.
I roll my eyes and continue working by cleaning up after I put my book down on the counter till I saw our boss came in.
"Oh, Toby!" I called out to warn the gang to stop what they're doing with Xander coming to my side.
"Hey, nice snorkel, boss," he said with his hand placing on our boss's shoulder, but Toby smacks it away.
"Isn't your day off today, boss man?" I asked Toby, hearing him muffle with the snorkel while hearing the twins giggling a bit behind me.
"Yes," He takes the snorkel off and began to scold us. "Yes, as a matter of fact, I was at the beach, snorkeling with the little fishes and one of them, swam up to my mask and he looked at me with these big eyes and said, 'Are your employees cleaning the store, like they said they would do.'" Xander and the rest began to snigger while I cover my mouth from doing so.
"Now, I have to go back in the water, back to the reef, find the fish and say, no." The boss man said while Xander and I step aside for him to head to his office as we follow him.
"Why don't you relax, boss?" I scowl up at Xander, ignoring my expression. "Take a breather. I'll gather the troops and assign them things to do." I glare.
"I was already cleaning up before he shows up," I tell the stupid idiot. "You can't tell me what to do, besides Toby." He glares back at me and the two of us are having a staring contest, sensing the trio watching us.
"You mean," The two of us look back at our boss. "Do the jobs I pay you for?" Toby rubs his hand and gets mad. "Guys!" I jumped at his shout and slams the door of his office. I shake my head and go back doing my task, ignoring Xander as he began to assign the rest with their tasks.
From the moment I've met the quartets, like I said, they're completely different. I understand they're all good friends since they balance each other out, including Chip being a fantasy-warrior that I read about in my books, hence me and him get along so well since we both love anything fantasy and adventure related things. Despite his taste on food, but he's so sweet and awesome guy.
The Rocca Twins, Vida and Madison. Vida is such a tomboy, but really cool and well laid back while she's being a DJ and plays great music for our customers to enjoy in the store or any recommendations she gives them. Madison is also really cool and sweet with a shy personality; hence she shows off her true self behind the camera, which I didn't mind her filming, like I said, she's also really cool.
Xander, on the other hand, ugh, I can't stand him when I've met him. He's a skater, hence the skateboard he's carried around and trying to be a flirt whenever he sees a really pretty girl or sometimes with me, but I've kept turning him down or giving him a mean comment for him to back off. Hence the tension the trio sensed, because they know how the two of us gets when we do our bickering.
Like few minutes ago, since I told him off about him trying to tell me what to do since I hate-wait, is that an earthquake I'm feeling?
"Krys, take cover!" I hear Xander as I did, going over to the door frame and stayed there while hearing Maddie calling Chip to take cover as well and Toby was doing a horrible job to do the procedures. Not until I began to feel something after I closed my eyes and then, I've felt my eyes warm.
"Huh?" Of a vision. Of a biker who fallen off his bike on the street after he drove by the entrance sign of the small town. "What in the world? Who's that?" The vision slowly faded after I closed my eyes and opened them again, seeing the store and the gang coming out from their safe spot.
What was that? I thought as I held my head. Did I seriously have a vision about someone?
"Oh, great," I hear Madison when the gang gathered, and I head over. "The store's messier than before." I look around and it is. Even my book has fallen off while I reach for it.
"Well, the good news is, the worst is over," I hear Xander after I dust my book.

After the earthquake incident, I can't shake my head around it about earlier. A vision about a guy, a new guy into the small town during the incident few hours ago. The right question: why did I get a vision about him? How did I get a vision about him?
Right now, the five of us are outside and I'm leaning against Vida's jeep while she's sitting on a chair in her trunk, with music playing on her speaker and me, with my book since I'm now, on chapter four, where Schuyler and Oliver learned about a girl named Aggie was killed from the last few chapters ago.
"How's your book coming along, Krys?" I look up and saw Maddie is filming again. I grin.
"Going good, so far," I tell her. Not until I heard someone is calling for help when I look over behind Maddie and saw an elderly man was the one calling out. I put my book down in the trunk after Vida climb down and the five of us walked over to him, who's standing by the trees.
"Please, someone? Anyone?" He asked with other people gathering around him. "I need help, it's my brother." He starts explaining. "We were walking just up the road and some creature grabbed him, I fear the worst." Hearing the other people denying him to help him when he mentions about the woods.
"Can you imagine, V?" I hear Xander. "Him asking for someone to go into the woods?" I nudge my elbow, hard at his waist. "Oof, ow!"
"Don't be so rude," I whisper to him, then I look back at the elderly man, hearing him sounding desperate, I've decided to step in. "I'll help you, sir."
"I will, too," All of us heard a voice when the elderly man steps aside and my eyes widen. In front of us is a guy, wearing a black biker jacket with single red stripes on either side of his sleeves, seeing him working on his bike when he look up at us and I realized who it is.
It's him, the biker from my vision, I thought.
"I could use a break," he said after he put his tools away and stood up till his gaze landed on me. They were greyish-green color, meeting my blue ones. I quickly look away, feeling a bit of heat came onto my face.
"Oh, thank you," I hear the man, looking up to see him shake his hand to the guy and then, came over to me. "Thank you both, very much." I smiled up at him and the two of us went over to the biker guy till Xander decided to step in.
"Hey, uh, I'm Xander," I roll my eyes. "You're new around here, right?" Talking to the biker guy, I've felt annoyed. "Probably not aware all of the facts and there's just one," he gets into the new guy's space. "If you go into those woods, you don't come out."
"Coming from a guy who doesn't read books," I murmured, hearing the new guy snicker a bit at my little joke.
"I've heard about it," he said when he met my gaze again, then at the elderly man, and then back at Xander. "The guy needs help and besides your nice, cute friend here, no one in this city seems to care." Wait, what?
Did he compliment me?
"I'll go with you guys," That was from Vida when we look over at her. "Not everyone's here a coward." I smiled at her as she came to my side and smiled back.
"I'll go, too," Chip jumped in. "I've always wanted to go on a dangerous quest," he looks over at the two of us. "This is a dangerous quest, right?"
"Perilous." Vida grins at her best friend, hearing Chip cheered a bit, and then I look back at the elderly man.
"Lead us the way, sir," He nodded and the four of us followed him. Feeling Xander and Maddie staring after us after we began to leave.

A little bit later, we've made it to the edge of the woods, with sign that read, 'Danger, Keep out' on the fence as we walked by it, then the elderly man look back at us.
"You sure you're willing to enter?" he asked. "The woods' a very scary place."
"You ask a lot of questions for someone who's brother in danger." The new guy inquired since I'm behind him with Vida and Chip next to me.
"Everyone's in danger," the elderly man said after I look back at the duo.
"Everyone's in danger? Yeah!" With Chip being excited, all of us heard a vehicle came in. Looking over, it was Xander driving Vida's jeep with Maddie being in the passenger's side.
"Xander!" Vida shouted. "I told you, if you ever took my car, I'll rearrange your limbs!" She threatened him when the duo climbed out of the jeep, then came over to us.
"You're going into the woods and never returning," Xander said when he and Maddie stood in front of us. "As if you're gonna see it again." I shake my head a bit.
"You're my sister," Maddie said. "And Krys' my best friend, I go wherever you guys go."
"Aw, Maddie," I giggle while she grins back at me. Not until I hear the elderly man said something.
"And so there is six." Somehow, that made my spine have chills when I look back at him, meeting his smirk gaze. Okay, creepy much?
Not until I've felt my eyes warmed again. I close them and saw another vision, about a cloak figure with a wand in his hand. No, the voice sounded like a woman and she uses her wand to release a spell on these weird zombie looking creatures.
"Whoa!" I open my eyes and held my head again. "What in the world?"
"Krys?" I look over behind me and saw Xander is waiting for me. "You coming or what?" I shake my head a bit, then catch up with the others with Xander behind me, ignoring the worried expression he has on his face.

About another few minutes, the seven of us entered the woods.
"Ah, it's so creepy out here," I hear Maddie.
"You got that right," Xander agreed while I continue walking ahead, with the new guy next to me till the two of us somehow walked into some kind of barrier I've felt.
"What the?" I stop to look back, the rest came in and Maddie was the last one, who also felt it. "You've felt it, too, Maddie?"
"Yeah, what was that?" Then, we notice the elderly man is missing.
"Where did the old man go?" I asked, looking around.
"Ten seconds into the woods and we're already lost? All right." Chip laughed while I gave him a small grin. I mean, can you blame him? Like I said, the two of us love fantasy and adventure stuff. Another few minutes, we continue walking while I listen to Chip ramble on since I'm interested.
"And not just trolls, goblins and elves lived in the woods, too," he explained. "I've also heard about a witch living here, she's hideous with green skin and a black tongue with yellow drool drips from the corner of her mouth as she speaks." I giggle a bit.
"Sounds like an ordinary witch would look like," I tell him, seeing him nodded his head.
"You've been reading too many fairy tales, friend," That was the new guy since he's behind us. I turn to face him as I walk backwards.
"What's wrong having a little imagine-" That's when I saw her. The cloaked witch from my vision. "Uh, guys?"
"What's wrong with you?" The new guy asked me when I heard the rest being spooked, with Xander protecting me and I held his arm. "Guys, what is it?" We couldn't say anything, but the cloaked witch isn't doing anything, either. She's just standing there, behind the new guy.
"Oh, I get it. So, now you're playing with me." He chuckles, being a dummy that the cloaked witch stood behind him. "Ooh, there's someone's behind me, I'm so scared, boo."
"There is someone behind you!" Vida and I shouted when he look over and yelped, backing up to us. With the cloaked witch began to approach us.
"Uh..." Chip started.
"Anybody want to run?" Maddie asked.
"I've tried, but my feet wouldn't move," Xander said when all of the sudden, I've sense something.
"Huh?" That's when those zombie looking creatures appeared, surrounding us, with Vida mentioning that the cloaked witch bought friends, which I knew she didn't since she was the one who casted a spell on them, from my vision.
"Mysto Aerotan!" She called out with her wand in her hand, then out of nowhere, not one, but six brooms came in.
"Wahh!" I yelped after I got on while the rest got on as well, then we began to fly away from the cloaked witch as I look back at her. "Who is that?"
Hearing everyone, besides Chip, screaming, I held on the broom when I saw it appeared all teal with black bristle brush on the end while everyone else's are just normal looking brown color brooms. Wonder why mine's in teal? Not until the brooms decided to drop us off.
Screaming, everyone landed on the ground while I landed on top of Xander. "Oof!"
"Unh! Ow!" He yelped. "Krystal, would you mind?"
"Sorry." I landed on his chest sideway while I stood up and our faces are close when he's about to get up. My heart skips a beat, but I snap out of it and push him down, hearing him yelp again. "Can you wait till I get up?" And I did, walking away from him and dusting myself off.
Hearing Xander groan a little, I saw him got up and glare over at the new guy. "So, new guy, now you know why no one goes into the woods."
"The name's Nick," he said with a nervous chuckle as he back away from Xander.
"What is this place?" I hear Vida when I look up and saw a dragon size statue in front of us, with its mouth open as I went up to it.
"How cool," I said. "I wonder what's the inside look like." Even Chip came by my side to see till we heard the woman's voice again.
"This is Root Core," Causing myself to hold Chip's arm after the two of us turned around and there she is, with the others backing up to us. Even the two of us back away with them, heading inside.
Turns out...
"Whoaaa! Oof!" It was a small tunnel that made us fall into an open door. In dog pile with me being on the bottom.
"Do you guys mind? I may be tiny, but I hate being squish!" I snapped, hearing them getting up with Nick helping me to stand. "Thanks."
"Sure thing," Then, the two of us look around and I gasp at the sight.
The inside of the dragon is a place of a wizard's lair of some sort. Seeing the place have a giant crystal ball in the middle of the area, with different colors in the circle with each of them showing off different symbols of some kind of animals.
There was a shield with an emblem of a letter M in the middle of either side of the door, another area with different colors and symbols like the crystal ball, a staircase with the cloaked witch came in, causing Vida to gasp at the sight of her.
"I thought it best for you were brought here," she said. Then, the cloaked witch casted another spell, with us watching to see the brooms from earlier are back into their rightful place, with the teal broom being the last one in its spot. Then, the cloaked witch revealed herself a sorceress. No older than the elderly man we've met before.
"I am Sorceress Udonna," she said. "Welcome to my home." Seeing the area began to light up to appear a sorceress' lair. Well, we are talking to a sorceress herself.
"Wow, this is awesome," Chip laughed while I take everything in.
"This place is amazing," I complimented.
"Thank you," Udonna said, then she continues explaining. "When the six of you entered the forest, you stepped into a magical dimension," Me and Chip look at each other wide eyed.
"A parallel universe in Briarwood?" My redheaded friend gotten excited. "Do we live in an awesome city or what?" I giggle till Udonna appear next to me, causing myself to squeak.
"Apologies," she grins. "A few years ago, there was a great battle in our world," she explains as she began to pace around us. "Dark magic conquered our realm and was about to enter your dimension, when we finally defeated them and sent back to the Underworld, but at a great cost." That's when I began to remember. From one of my dreams about the six wizards.
"The seal is broken, isn't it?" Everyone look over at me while my gaze is on Udonna. "Since the earthquake earlier, there was a crack on it, is there?" She nodded. Then, I notice something. "Wait, how did I know that?"
"You could see visions of both present and future, do you, young one?" My eyes widen a little as she continues to grin at me, then she walks over to a book. "It could mean the end for both of our worlds." I went over to her side to see the book.
While Udonna continue explaining, with Nick comments that he doesn't believe anything, I look into the book, the Xenotome is what she called it after the gang came over, with Xander appearing close behind me and I could've sworn he wants to hold my hand, but I let him as I held it. I can tell he's confuse and a bit nervous about all of this.
"What kind of language is this?" I asked Udonna since I couldn't read it.
"The language of the Ancients," she said. "You will soon learn it. It says, 'When evil rises again, six mystical warriors from the human realm would step forward,'" She look down at me, then at the others. "You are those warriors; you are the Power Rangers." What?
Chip laughed a bit. "Nice!"
"No way," I look up at Xander and he met my gaze, then he goes ahead say something.
"Excuse me," he started. "but, there's must be a mistake. How are we gonna defeat pure evil? Our high school hasn't won a football game, like in six years." Till the two of us saw Udonna casted a spell to reveal not one, but six wands.
The Mystic Wands, I thought. "Those are the wands I've seen in my dreams."
Udonna went ahead pass one out to my friends. Chip received a yellow one with a Thunderbird, Maddie a blue one with a Mermaid Tail, Vida a pink one with a Butterfly, Xander a green one with a Bull, me a Teal one with a Wolf on top and she hands the last one to Nick, in red with a Firebird. He hesitated when he met my gaze and I grin at him, nodded that he can take it and he did, which it glowed.
"Never leave without them," Udonna said as she steps back while I stare at mine. Like my broom, as soon I touch it, the wood part became black with a hint of silver metallic foil around it.
"Whoa." I was amazed.
"Udonna!" All of us heard another girl when we saw her with blond long hair and holding her skirt till she saw us. "Oh, hello, nice to meet you." That's when I've felt it.
I close my eyes and saw another vision, a village being under attack with Udonna protecting us and transforms into a white Power Ranger. Because of those zombie creatures came out and began to fight, with her fighting them, but at the same time with a troll, as well.
I open my eyes and saw Udonna had disappeared, with the blond-haired girl, who she said her name is Clare told us not to leave. I went up to her.
"Let me go," I tell her. "I had a vision, it had to do with Udonna being in trouble." I put my wand down on the crystal ball and went around her and head out, ignoring the calls I'm getting from my friends.

I follow the trail that'll lead me to a village that I saw in my vision. Which, it did when I saw different magical creatures in front of me. With the aura seems...depressed and miserable.
"Wonder what happen here." I thought out loud when the gang came in.
"Krys, what's going on with you?" Maddie asked me. "You had us worried a little."
"Sorry," I brush my dark brown side bangs away from my face. "It's hard to explain, but lately, I've been getting visions about what's going on, hence of what Udonna told me, that I can see visions of present and future."
"You are absolutely correct, dear Krystal," All of us heard and saw Udonna appeared in front of us. "I should've known you wouldn't stay at Root Core," she didn't sound mad, either.
"What happen here?" Maddie asked.
"Woodland village was destroyed," Udonna explained, seeing the small village did look ruined, hence the villagers look depressed. "The Darkness destroys everything within their path, until they get what they want." I saw a small fairy with wavy dirty blond hair and has a flower crown on her head, seeing her sitting on a log, being sad.
I went up to her and kneels in front of her, seeing her pretty hazel eyes meeting my blue ones. I smile at her. "Hi. I'm Krystal, what's your name?"
"Aurora." She said softly, she look no more than eight years old and being a bit shy.
"That's a really pretty name," I complimented her.
"Thank you." She smiles back at me with a toothy smile, which made me giggle a bit. "You're really pretty."
"Thank you, you're pretty yourself, I really like your flower crown," Even Chip came by my side. "This is my friend, Chip."
"Hello." He waves with a goofy grin and has Aurora giggling a bit till we hear someone gotten surprise.
"It is them," It was another villager after the two of us stood up, hearing the villagers mentioning the protectors are here and then, saying Mystic Force, which my heart warmed as I held my hands there. Seeing the villagers have kneeled in front of us.
Whoa. I thought when I look down at Aurora and Aurora smiles up at me.
"The Teal Witch of Illusion and Kindness," she said. "She has return." What? She bows her head to me while I stood where I am.
"I've always wondered what it's like to be worship," Then, again, someone had to ruin the moment, I glare over at him.
"Seriously, Xander?" I scolded him.
"What? It's not so bad." Till we heard a loud grunting sound to reveal that giant troll from my vision earlier. "Whoa!"
"Ah!" Hearing the rest gasped, I protected Aurora as I held her behind me and Chip went back with the others with Udonna protecting them.
"Okay, that's bad!" Xander cried out, seeing the villagers manage to get away after they stood up and find somewhere safe. I look down at Aurora.
"You need to go, hurry," I push her and she obeys as she run into the woods, while I hear Udonna say this.
"Magical Force, Mystic Force!" Watching her held her wand up in the air, a white seal appeared and hover over her, seeing her body glowed to get rid of her dress to replace with..."Flurry of Snow, White Mystic Ranger!" I gasp.
"No way, she became a Power Ranger." I laugh a bit. "She look exactly like in-" Till I got hit from behind. "Ah!" And fallen forward when I look up and my eyes widen at those zombie creatures. "Oh, crap, where did they come from?" I kick myself up, despite that I'm wearing a knee length black ruffle skirt with a pair of shorts underneath, that goes with my teal t-shirt and my black sweater and black high tops converse, I began to fight.
"Hyah! Hah!" Thank goodness back home, I've taken martial classes, that's one of the things that my new friends don't know about. You never know when there's danger lurking around. I manage to roundhouse kick a zombie, then I go ahead did flips.
"Hah!" I did a scissor flip, then did not one, but three backflips till I jump and did another roundhouse. "Hyah!" I landed on the ground and I continue till I hear the others are trying their best. I went over to them, but one of the zombies didn't let me as it grabs my arm. "Ah, hey, let me go!" Till I was sent flying. "Ahh!" By crashing my back onto a tree.
"Unh! Oof!" I got faceplanted. Turning on to my back, I groan. "Okay, I kind of deserved that." My eyes widen when I saw a blade came at me. "Ah!" Rolling away, I kicked a zombie out and ran away from it, but then I got surrounded by a few. "Oh, great." Not until I saw a giant pink tornado appeared, where Vida is after the tornado revealed herself. "Wait, did V just turn-"
"All you have to do is believe in magic, Sorceress of Illusion." What the? Who was that? "Say it and your powers will be release."
Hence the tornado Vida created, I thought as I close my eyes. "I do believe in magic."
Hearing a wolf howling, I open my eyes and laughed at the sight of those zombies being lift in the air. I even saw my hands glowed in silver and I'm the one who's controlling them. I smirk, then toss those guys out of the woods.
"See ya next fall!" I shouted and they were out in the count. "So cool."
"Krys." My friends came over where I am, with Maddie hugging me and I hug her back.
"I'm fine," I giggle a bit after I let her go, then Udonna and Nick came over to us. Seeing the biker dude look a bit upset. "Hey, are you okay?" He ignored my question when Udonna cuts in.
"You truly are the one," she said while I continue looking at Nick. "Are you up to the test, are you now, to expect your legacy?"
"Oh, yeah, bring it on."
"I'm in, I kicked some serious evil out there."
"This is so unlike me, but I'm sticking with my sister and best friend."
"Someone's gotta look after these guys," That made me look up at Xander, with a scowl.
"No one asked you to be my babysitter, Xander," I tell him while he messes with my hair. "Eep, hey."
"Maybe to look after you, instead, little Krys," he said while I punch him on his side. "Ah, ow! What?" I look up at Udonna and grin.
"You know I'm in," I tell her, then we look over at Nick, who haven't answered my question.
"No way," he started, dusting his jacket. "I'm out of here."
"Are you sure this is what you choose?" The Sorceress asked him.
"Look, the I believe in magic thing, didn't work on me," Nick explained.
"Try believing again," That was from Maddie. "Maybe it didn't catch this time" I understood her, because I can sense the fire power, coming from him.
Wait, what? I can sense other powers, too?
"It's part your psychic ability," The voice said. "You'll be able to copy your friends' powers, when you all go out and fight." How cool.
"Clare will see you safely out of the woods," I hear Udonna after I look back. "Clare?" Seeing a cute sheep came in.
"Here I aaam," Oh, my goodness, I giggle.
"Oh, my dear child," hearing the girls giggling and Xander snickering. "When will you get your spells right?" Udonna chuckles. "See him out of the wood safely, please."
"I'll go with them, Sorceress Udonna," It's that voice again when it came from behind me as I look over and saw a giant size wolf, almost the same height as Udonna and Xander. And not an ordinary wolf, a completely black one with bright blue-grey eyes and has a hint of grey streaks all over his fur and wearing what seems to be a teal bandana around his neck.
"Whoa," Everyone look over and heard my friends yelped with the giant wolf coming in and stood in front of us.
"Obsidian, it's good to see you again, old friend," I hear Udonna. "Krystal, this is Obsidian, he's your guardian wolf." My guardian?
"It's a pleasure to meet you all, Mystic Rangers," he said as he kneels. I went up to him after he stood up, then I slowly hover my hand over his head, hearing him chuckle a bit and he bombards his whole head towards me.
"Eep," I giggle and hug him around his snout. "Nice to meet you, Obsidian." The two of us look at each other after I let him go. "Thank you for taking my friend out to safety."
"Of course, my sorceress," Then, I step aside, and he went over to Clare and Nick, seeing the trio began to leave with Nick looking back at me and I softly smile at him.
Watching my new friends leaving the woods, all of the sudden, the whole area gotten dark. I gotten ready when a dark spell appeared to reveal a humanoid purple wolf knight, with a shield on his hand.
"You may have defeated my Hidacs," he said. "but you will not defeat me." Then, an attack release from his shield. "Wolf Attack!"
"Ahhh!" An explosion happened behind us as we gotten hit, with my back meeting the ground. I groan a bit after I kick myself up and protect my friends and Udonna.
"Just who are you?" I asked him, but I fell onto my knees since the attack got us bad, got me really bad. "Ah."
"Krystal." Udonna kneeled next to my right and Xander on my left as I lean against to his chest, glaring at the wolf knight.
"It is the end for you," the Purple Knight said. "On your feet." And we did with Xander holding me up. "Darkness has come," the Knight said.
"I got a bad feeling about this," I hear Maddie.
"I don't know who you are, warrior," Udonna protected us. "but if it's a battle you want, I am ready to fight."
"Wait," Xander held his arm out to her. "Let me try and reason with him," I facepalmed. He went forward to the purple knight. "Hi, the name's Xander."
"I am Koragg, the Knight Wolf," the Knight said till he began to cast a spell with his free hand. "Uthe Mejor Catastros!"
"Whoa!" All of us back away when we saw a dark seal on the ground, to reveal a giant black mechanical horse appear, causing myself to gasp. Then, Koragg release another spell on the giant horse.
"So much for reasoning," Xander gulped after I pull him behind me.
"Sumbol Unithos Equestra!" Seeing him jump in the air, he combine himself with the horse and became giant himself, a centaur more like it.
"Power of the Centaur!"
"A Centaur? A real Centaur?" Chip was amazed. "I want one." I was amazed, too, but at the same time, being scared of what this guy is going to do. Seeing the giant knight pulled out a lance and then, he lands on the ground, almost squashing us after we manage to get away.
"Whoa!" Koragg laughed.
"You are now, just pebbles under my hooves," then, he tries to stomp us again.
"Ah!" We manage to get away from that one.
"Get back!" Udonna called out. "You are not ready for this kind of fight, I am." That's when I'm getting another vision.
Eyes closed, I saw that Udonna made herself giant size, with Obsidian by her side and the two did their best to fight Koragg, but he manage to defeat Obsidian first, then fought Udonna one on one, till I hear Udonna and Koragg say this to each other.
"You are too familiar."
"You, too, witch." What?
"Sorceress Krystal," I open my eyes and saw Obsidian is by my side. "Go with your friends, I'll help Udonna." And he did when a teal seal appear in front of him as he jumps through. "Galwit Mysto Prifior!" Seeing my guardian gotten even bigger, I didn't realize Udonna became giant size, as well.
I back away to my friends, held Maddie close to me with the two of us watching the fight. Just like my vision few minutes ago, Udonna and Obsidian are fighting off Koragg, with him using his hooves to attack Udonna down, hearing the twins gasping in shock while Obsidian protected the Snow Witch.
Then, like in my vision, Obsidian did his best to fight back, trying to tackle the knight down and releasing a spell, but Koragg manage to defeat with a spell attacking my wolf. Hearing him howling in pain, he went back to normal size he was earlier and landed in front of us.
"Obsidian." We ran over to him after he got up and shake himself.
"I'm well," he said till we heard a staff and sword clashed, hearing myself yelp when I look back at the battle.
"Have I seen you before, warrior? You are too familiar." Oh, no.
"You, too, witch," Koragg said. "But that will not stop me from destroying you."
"Udonna, get out of there!" I shouted, but she couldn't hear me. Seeing Koragg release a spell at her, Udonna got hit. "No!"
"Charge!" Koragg called out, charging himself forward and attack the Snow Witch again, hearing her crying out in pain. Hearing my friends worried for her, my heart aches at the sight.
"Sorceress Udonna!" My wolf cried out after we witnessed sparks came out of her, then an explosion appeared after she let go of her Snow staff.
"You are defeated," The giant knight said when Udonna came back down, injured and leaning against a tree. All of us went over to her with Obsidian holding her up. Even Koragg came back down when I watch him reach for the Snow Staff.
"No!" I ran for it.
"Krystal, don't!" I heard Vida till Koragg goes ahead and uses his attack on me.
"Ah!" I've been sent flying, but I manage to land and skidded to stop, bumping into my wolf after he caught me with his side. "Oof."
"Don't push your luck, human," he said after reaching for the Snow Staff. "I will spare all of you," Obsidian growled at the knight. "So, that you'll witness the firsthand terror and destruction that unfolds your land," I can sense my friends and Udonna are glaring at him, including Obsidian after I brush his fur to stay calm. "Remember this day, you will wish it was your last." And a seal appeared below him. "Uthe Sastos." And he was gone.

"Without my Snow Staff, I cannot fight anymore," Udonna said after all of us returned to Root Core, with Obsidian being in a normal size wolf for him to get inside. "But, I can still train you; I can teach you the ways of magic." I almost let out a squeal of excitement.
Hearing my wolf chuckle, he pokes his nose on my lower back. "Ah, hey."
"Someone's excited," Hearing everyone laughing, I brush his fur back. Udonna called out for Clare when we saw her, she's still in sheep mode, causing us to giggle a little.
"Oh, child," she said with a grin, got up and did a spell on the sheep. "Morthay Mammun." And Clare returns to normal, with Obsidian helping her up.
"Thanks, Obsidian," she said after she stood up, looking up at Udonna. "Why didn't you do that before?" All five of us laugh a bit. "Do you know how warm it is with all that wool?"
"If I do everything for you," Udonna stated. "Then, how will you ever learn?" Clare stayed quiet at that while giving my wolf a soft scratch on his ear, hearing him chuckle a bit. Then, Udonna has our wands and began to pass them out again.
"This time, go nowhere without them," she said after she gave me mine.
"Uh-huh," Xander said. "We already learn that lesson." I went over to Chip and me and him began to goof around, pretending to be fantasy warriors, hearing the twins giggling at the sight of us. "But, tell you the truth, walking around town, carrying a wand..." He look over at me and I smile up at him. "Well, maybe good for Krys and Chip," Everyone laughed since I know Xander didn't mean it to be mean.
After he spoke to Udonna about it, I didn't realize that my wand began to release something. "Huh?"
And then, it blast over by the wall, causing myself to yelp and so did Chip, when my attack made a small explosion on it, with everyone saw what happened. Seeing the wall has a giant hole in the middle, of a view of the woods. I look over at everyone.
"I swear, I didn't cast any spells, I swear, it did it on its own," Pointing at my wand, I notice it transform into a cell phone, like everyone else. "Whoa." But, unlike everyone else, who has theirs in golden orange color, mine is in teal and black.
"I hope you find these more to your generation's liking," Udonna said with a grin.
"Cell phones, pretty cool." Vida said after Chip and Maddie closed theirs while I continue to look at mine, seeing the numbers in metallic silver and my symbol top of them.
"So cool," I closed it while Udonna continues explaining.
"These are your Mystic Morphers," she said. "They are activated with spell codes that you will come along to your journey. Now, go back to the city, live your normal lives and wait until you're needed," All of us nodded at the sorceress. "Remember, there is evil everywhere and you would be best not served speaking to no one of what has happen."
"Is it okay if I can stay?" That was from me when everyone look over. "You know, to learn more about my powers and," I pointed to the hole on the wall. "Maybe to fix that hole over there? I'm so sorry." My friends laugh a bit while Udonna came over to me and gave me a motherly side hug.
"It's quite all right, Krystal," she said. "But, you should also return with your friends. You will be able to learn more about your past life soon." Huh? My past life? She gently pushes me towards Xander, then I look back at her, meeting her grin and gave me a nod.
I grin back, then follow my friends out with me brush Obsidian after I walked out.
"Bye, buddy. Bye, Clare!"
"Bye, Krystal!"
"See you soon, my sorceress!" The two called out behind me.

"My past life?" I asked myself after what Udonna told me earlier. "Wonder what she meant by that?" It's been about ten minutes since the five of us left Root Core. I'm walking along side Xander, with the twins and Chip in front of us. With Xander glancing over at me and I met his gaze.
"What?"
"Nothing," he look away. "You've been acting weird since Nick showed up."
"You should know by now that I've been acting weird, because of my powers, Xander," I reminded him. "Didn't you hear what Udonna told me in the beginning? I can see-"
"Visions of present and future, I know." He chuckles a bit. "It's pretty cool, though. Does that mean you'll tell my future?" I nudge him on his side. "Ow! What?"
"Not funny." But I giggle a bit, covering my mouth from him not seeing it.
"Didn't anyone tell you have a cute smile?" Huh? I stop my tracks to look up at him, but he continue walking ahead till I hear Chip.
"How can a tree be our passage?" I catch up to the gang since I didn't listen to the last part what Udonna had said. Seeing my redheaded friend is near one and touch it, till he was sucked in. "Whoa!"
I gasped, with Xander blinked and the twins were in shock. Seeing my redheaded friend back, being excited and laughing a bit.
"Whoa, guys, so cool," he said as he approach us. "Just touch the tree and bam! You're flying through roots, branches, stems, leaves and barks." He explained. "Just think of the tree in front of the record shop."
"Let me try," I walk over to the tree, then I place my hand on it and then..."Wahh!" I got sucked in and manage to get to the other side. "Whoa, it worked!" Not until I saw a confuse Toby after I look around for a bit. "Uh-oh." Then, out of nowhere, my friends came out, causing all of us to yelp and landed in dog pile, with me on the bottom again.
"Really, guys?" I groaned after they're getting up with Xander helping me up. "Thanks." Then, we head over to the shop with Toby looking at us.
"Hey, did you guys just-" The five of us look at each other, then back at our boss. "From the tree?" Xander look back, then back at him with a shrug. "Never mind." Xander goes ahead wrap his arm around me, then lead me back to work with the others asking our boss if he's feeling okay, which made me giggle a bit.
Not until I got a small vision of our boss went over to the tree we got out, checking it out and then, he bonked his head on it, causing myself to mentally laugh at the sight.
Within an hour later, I came outside to take out the trash into the cans in front of the shop when Maddie came out. I watched her head over to the other side, which I see Nick is working on his bike. I figure my best friend is going to develop a crush on the guy, which made me happy for her, but at the same time, I feel bad that Nick didn't believe in magic.
I mean, I've felt his element coming from him since Obsidian told me that I would be able to copy others' powers when we go out and fight, including Nick's. I shake my head a bit, then I was about to head inside till Maddie walked by, seeing her look embarrassed and head into the store.
"Mads?" I called out, then I look back at Nick, seeing him back working on his bike. I walk over to him. "Hey, what did you say to my best friend?"
"I didn't say anything mean, if that's what you're thinking." He said.
"Then, what did you say to her that made her feel embarrassed?"
"Nothing," he said. "She was trying to convince me to join with you guys," Huh? "Well, more like staying here in Briarwood."
"Was she really?" He nodded. Then, I thought about my first day here, in the city. "That's right, you're new here. I was new here, too. Briarwood is a really great city."
"Oh, yeah?" I nodded. "Where did you move from?"
"Bricksville," I answer. "Only about four to five hours away from here. I moved, because I wanted to explore something different. And plus, I have an uncle who is also living here." Watching him continue working.
"You're like me, I'm also staying with a relative."
"Who, if you don't mind me asking."
"I've also wonder that myself." That was from Udonna when the two of us look up and saw the Sorceress in front of us, wearing her color theme civilian's clothing. She look down at me. "Krystal, will you leave us be for a moment?" I nodded.
"Sure thing, I have to head back to work," I tell her, then look back at Nick. Meeting his gaze, I grin at him, and then, I head back. I look over and saw the two are chatting from where I am. I wish I could hear what Udonna is telling him till I've felt something on my leg.
More like a cold nose when I look down and saw a black lab puppy next to me, with a familiar teal bandana around his neck.
"Obsidian?" The puppy tilts his head.
"How you know it's me?" I giggle. I pick him up in my arms and held him while he starts attacking me with his kisses, like an actual puppy would do.
"Ah, no, Obsidian, don't!" I laughed till I hear the door opened and my friends came out. "Guys?"
"Come on, there's trouble in the woods," That was from Vida when the gang ran ahead. I drop Obsidian and the two of us catches up with them, heading into the tree we went through earlier. But I stop to look over at Nick, meeting his gaze again.
"We need you, Nick," I tell him telepathically. "I know you can believe in magic." Then, I went through the tree.

As soon we did, with my wolf transforming his normal size, the five of us received new clothes. Hearing ourselves being amazed.
"Hey."
"Check out the uniforms."
"And cloaks," Chip said, seeing him using the cloak to hide himself as Xander back away a bit, causing the three of us to giggle.
"I'm digging it." I said since I'm the only one who's in different colors.
The rest are wearing light grey shirts with black pants that have their symbols in any part of their clothing, I have the matching color pants and cuffs, but my shirt and cloak are in teal and grey.
"I hate pink," I hear Vida till I sense Hidacs nearby. In front of us.
"Complain about it later, V," I tell her after I look up. "Hidacs, at 12 o'clock." The gang look and the zombie creatures appeared from the seal they came out from.
"I hope everyday isn't like this," I hear Maddie while I get ready, so did my friends.
"Go!" I called out and we've split up to fight. I manage to do a high jump and flip over a Hidac to kick it out. I landed and began to fight, blocking their blades and ducking till I did a leg sweep. "Hyah! Hah!" I manage to duck another and then, did a roundhouse kick on him, but that one manages to catch my leg and toss me out. "Wahh!"
"Gotcha!" With Obsidian appearing and caught me on his back. He landed, hearing him growling a bit at the Hidacs. "Mess with my Sorceress and her friends, you got to go through me, Hidacs." I hear my boy after I sat up. "Howling Sonic!" He howled, seeing bright silver rings coming out of his mouth and attacked the Hidacs away from the two of us.
"Whoa." I laughed, petting my wolf's fur. "Nice work."
"Thank you." He chuckles, till the two of us heard Maddie when we look over and saw she's in trouble. She's not doing so good, unlike the rest.
"Go to Maddie, hurry." And he did as I held on. The Hidacs saw my wolf came in and Obsidian kicked them out with his back legs, carefully not hurting Maddie till he stops, and I held my hand out to her. "Get on, so we can go with the others." And she did, pulling her up to get on and Obsidian back away from the foot soldiers till he ran to the others.
As soon we did, the two of us gotten off of Obsidian, with him protecting us since there are more of those guys, surrounding us and they're getting ready to fight us.
"Let's Ranger up!" Xander called out and we did after we took off our cloaks and release our phones, putting in the codes.
"Magical Source, Mystic Force!"
"Galwit Mysto Ranger!"
(A/N: I'm not gonna have Krys explaining everything of how the morphing sequence goes nor how the team look in their ranger forms. Sorry -.-' just imagine Krys' ranger form is the same outfit as the twins, in dark blue green color, which is called Teal, not like Madison's color.)
"Strong as a Tree, Green Mystic Ranger!"
"Ever Changing as the Wind, Pink Mystic Ranger!"
"Fluid as the Sea, Blue Mystic Ranger!"
"Fast as Lightning, Yellow Mystic Ranger!"
"Believe What You See, Teal Mystic Ranger!" Hearing the Hidacs growling, the five of us gets ready with my wolf behind us.
"You're in for a treat, Hidacs," My wolf growled.
"Let's go!"
"Let's do this!"
"Yeah!"
"This is going to be fun," I said as I held my Magi Staff out. "Go!" And we all charge with me doing backflips again like last time. "Hup, hup, hup," I did another flip and did roundhouse kick on one. "Hee-yahh!" Seeing a Hidac fallen back to his friends, I've landed. "Hah!" Seeing my symbol glow a bit on my staff. "All right, Magi Staff, do your thing, girly."
"Girly?" Obsidian looks at me funny.
"What?" I giggle, then I held my staff in the air. "Magi Staff," Seeing it glowed into a different weapon, which is..."Wolf Bow!" It transforms into a recurve bow with my symbol on top, seeing the bow being in color black with hint of silver and teal metallic foil. I go ahead pull my string back to reveal a bright teal arrow and pointed at the Hidacs.
I smirk behind my helmet. "Say good night." I notice my arrow began to release some kind of lightning spark around it. "Thunder Arrow!" I release it and boom! The Hidacs were hit and out for the count. But I look at my bow and saw the same spark. Then, I remember what my wolf told me when I look up at him.
"Hey, didn't you mention-"
"That you're going to copy your friends' powers?" He chuckles. "Even Chip have his own Crossbow." I look over at Chip and saw him he does have a Crossbow.
Even my friends are doing an awesome job fighting with their own group of Hidacs, including Vida since I saw her cape transform into a pair of pink Butterfly wings, which she look so pretty with them and she send her Hidacs flying into the woods, which made me laugh at the sight.
"That was awesome, V!" I called over.
"Thanks, Krys!" She laughed when all of us gathered, including my wolf when he bumps his head on Vida. "Ah, hey." She giggles a bit, brushing his fur back.
"Good work, Mystic Pink," he said, then at the rest. "All of you, you did a job well done."
"Thank you, Obsidian," Maddie said when out of nowhere, the sky gotten dark.
"Oh, no, here comes trouble." And I regret saying that, because a certain knight have returned.
"I'm back."
"It's Koragg!" I hear Xander and my wolf growled by his side.
"We can take him." I hear Vida as I get ready with my Magi Staff back to normal.
"You can try, but you are no match," Seeing him held his hand out to release his shield and sword that he had before. "I call on my Sword of Darkness," he said. "This is your end."
"Okay, now what?" Xander asked.
"Now you will feel the power of Dark Magic," And I do. Not only I'm going to feel everyone's magic, so is Koragg's, that could only mean one thing.
"Obsidian?" I look over at him and he met my helmet gaze. "Does this include copying Dark magic, too?" He hesitated but gave me a short nod. I groan after I look back. "Great."
Not until Koragg goes release an attack from his shield, I manage to get away but my friends gotten hit, pretty bad.
"Guys, no!" Obsidian jumps in, with Koragg blocking him with his shield after my wolf bite it. "Obsidian, let go!" I called out as he did, but Koragg hit him with his shield till I release an attack, a copy one. "Wolf Attack!"
"Arrgh!" It was direct hit, but Koragg had his shield protecting him. He look at me. "You." I protected my friends as I get ready.
"Want some more?" I asked with my symbol glowed again. "Wolf Attack!" It was another direct hit, then I began to run over to him and fought. "Hyah, hah!" Seeing the knight manage to block my kicks and punches with his shield till I manage to get him by his helmet. "Hah!"
"Oof!" He stumbles back a bit and then, he growls. I get ready, spinning my staff.
"You're not the only one who can do that," I taunted him. "I'm the Mystic Force of Psychic, I can copy anyone's magic, including yours, Koragg." Not until I've felt something sharp, from my Magi Staff. "Ah!" I let go and saw my staff is covered in dark purple spark. "Wha-what happen?"
"Krys, look out!" I hear Xander when I look up and saw Koragg manage to release an attack.
"Ahh!" At me since I've been sent flying. "Unh! Oof!" To a tree and faceplanted to the ground. I groan.
"Krys!" I heard my friends since it was the last thing I've heard from them, I've passed out.

"Is she going to wake up?"
"Xander, calm down. It's only been a few hours."
"Still, V, if she didn't copy Koragg's magic, she wouldn't be-"
"It's my fault, I've confirmed my sorceress about copying Dark magic, I should've warned her before I had the chance. I apologize, rangers, I didn't mean to get your friend in danger."
"Obsidian?" I manage to say after waking up from darkness I've been seeing. Seeing a familiar place with not one, but seven humans and a black wolf in front of me after I've completely opened my eyes. I groan. "Wh-what happen?"
"How are you feeling, Krystal?" Udonna asked me, felt her hand on my hair.
"Felt like I've been flying off to space, then a wind break knocked me out," I joked, but felt a sting on my head. "Ow."
"She's okay," I hear Chip. "She's also into astronomy, hence what she just said." I look at everyone, then I spotted my new best friend, in his Wizard uniform with his in red lining and his symbol on his right breast of his vest.
"Nick, you've became one of us," he smiles at me, then Obsidian came in and brushes his head underneath my chin, causing myself to giggle and hug him. "Hey, buddy. I forgive you for what you said to the team," I look at him, then at the team. "It was my idea to do it," I look at Udonna. "Please, don't be at upset at him, Udonna." She grins softly.
"We are glad that you are all right, Krystal," she said while I continue hugging my wolf. Then, Maddie came in and also gave me and Obsidian a hug.

It was the next day and the five of us are working at the shop while Nick hung out, looking into a magazine since I'm behind the register.
"Here you go, have a great day." I wave at the customer, then I look over at Nick. "Since when you believe in magic?" He look back at me with a small grin.
"Like you, I also saw a vision of you guys being in trouble," he tells me. "Mostly you since you were protecting the rest before I got there."
"I can't let Koragg hurt my friends," I tell him. "I'm no damsel in distress or a mary sue. I like to go out and fight and protect our world from evil, just like yesterday," he chuckles a bit, then I went around the counter and gave my new friend a hug.
"Oh, hey, what's this for?"
"Being my new friend and," I look up at him with a grin. "For believing in yourself. Hence of how you've became one of us." He smiles and gives me a bear hug, causing myself to giggle a bit as I hug him back.
"Ahem." Our moment is ruin by a certain lazy 'manager' when we look up and saw Xander in front of us. I roll my eyes and let go of my new friend and head back to work. "Nick, now we're a team, feel like helping?"
Oh, this oughta be good, I thought.
"I fight soulless monsters," Nick said. "I don't clean." Great, another lazy one.
I just shake my head and do my task behind the register, just giving the area a quick dust with pledge and a micro-fiber towel when I saw that my friends are using their Mystic Morpher to do their work.
"Really? What's the point of you guys working on the shop, instead?" I murmured till I saw a daisy appear in front of me. "Huh? Where did you come from?" I grab it, then I look over when I thought a certain green ranger.
But, he busied himself using his wand to pick up the trash and take them out to the back. I shake my head a bit, but grin as I look back at the daisy, then put it on top of my book that I have next to the register and continue cleaning the old way.
"Hey, come on, Krys," I hear Nick. "Use your wand to clean your area." I scoffed.
"No, thanks," I tell him. "I don't mind doing the-" Until I saw Toby coming in. "Oh, shoot, guys, Toby's coming! Stop using your wand." And they did when the boss came in.
"Okay, I know you wouldn't…" He look up and saw the place is clean while I manage to get the spot I've missed on the counter. "Uh, you would? It's clean." He said after the others came in with Maddie by my side. "Very clean, the cleanest it's ever been."
"Sure is." I said, with Maddie agreeing with me.
"Maybe it's…it's lost its edge," Our boss said, causing me and Maddie to look at each other after we snorted a bit. Not until two new customers came in.
One is a blond haired girl and the other is a guy with dark dirty blond hair with hint of silver streaks and has the most greyest eyes I've seen when he met mine and smiles at me. I blushed.
"Hi, I'm in new town," The girl said. "Can somebody help me?" Causing Xander and Chip to walk over to her while I roll my eyes and I went around the register to go over to the CD section. With the guy following me.
"Hi," I look over at him and met his grin.
"Hi," I faintly blush, but clearing my throat. "Can I help you?"
"You have to excuse my cousin," he said. "She can be a bit of persuasive when it comes about guys like your friends." I scoffed.
"It's okay, one of them can be bit of a player," I look back at my friends, hearing Nick that he's in trouble and the rest laughing as I smile at the scene. Then, I look back at the customer. "Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Yeah, I was wondering if you have any recommendations of hard rock music?" I beam him a grin.
"Sure, I can, come this way." I led him to the rock section and showed couple of my favorites.
But, I couldn't help to wonder. Am I sensing jealousy from a certain green ranger?
