Hello! This is my first time writing anything creative. I welcome any criticism or advice you may give. But please go easy on me!
Danny Fenton was holding onto his white hazmat suit about to do what seemed to be a bad idea.
"Smile!" A camera flashes, blinding the young teen.
"Are you sure we have to do this? Besides, they say it doesn't work anyway." Danny asked his two best friends.
"And Danny might get hurt too." Tucker pointed out.
"Oh, c'mon. A "Ghost Zone"? A new world just waiting to be discovered? You gotta check it out." Sam interjects.
"Yeah, you have a point. Who knows what kind of awesome super cool things are on the other side of that portal!" Danny responds while closing the zipper of his white hazmat suit revealing a patch of his father's face on it.
"Hold on..." Sam removes the patch. "You can't go walking around with that on your chest."
Danny nods and proceeds to enter the machine. As he walked further in, he accidentally pushed a button inside. A sudden bright light flashes and Danny screams. His DNA gets infused with ectoplasm from the activation of the ghost portal.
"Danny!" Both Sam and Tucker shouts, trying to find out if their best friend is alright.
As the flash of light fades away, they are greeted by a swirling green portal with no Danny in sight.
"What's that noise?" Sam and Tucker hear a voice coming in from upstairs.
They are greeted by a large man wearing a bright orange hazmat suit.
"Sam, Tucker? You kids shouldn't be here. Where's Danny?" Jack Fenton, Danny's father, asked suspiciously.
"Uh... uh... We have no idea, Mr. F... We were just about to meet up with Danny to hang out when we suddenly heard a loud noise coming from down here. We were worried something happened so we checked it out." Sam nervously answers.
"Hmmm... Well, I haven't seen Danny yet. But regardless, you kids shouldn't be hanging out in the lab. So off you go." Jack said with a little bit of skepticism but decided to let it go.
"You got it, Mr. F. Sorry for the trouble." Sam said as she pulled Tucker and ran.
"Sam, what about Danny?" whispered Tucker. "I don't know, Tuck. But wherever he is, I hope he's okay." Sam answered with a worried face.
At Knight's Residence
Star Knight, one of the popular girls in her class, was in her room. She was drawing on her sketchpad when she noticed a bright green light outside her window.
"What is that?!" Star asked herself when she saw the swirling green portal outside her home. "Whoa!" she gasped as an large object came out of it. She wasn't sure what it was so Star ran out of room and her home to where the object landed.
As she stepped outside, she saw the green portal dissipate. "What is going on?" She asked herself.
Star approached the object that came out of the portal earlier but gasped as realize she was looking at a person, a boy. He has snow white hair and was wearing a black suit with white accents similar to those worn by the weird parents of that geek, Danny Fenton.
As soon as Star thought of Fenton, Two rings of light appeared at the mysterious boy's waist. The two rings then moved over his body each in different directions. After they moved and disappeared, they left behind a boy with black hair and baggy clothes. The freak she knew as Danny Fenton.
"Fenton?! Now I really don't know what's going on!" Star shouted.
