⸻Six months after surviving the horrors of Blackwood Mountain, Matt and Kida navigated the complexities of healing from their trauma. Nightmares often plagued Matt, and Kida, his unwavering support, comforted him through each one. Their bond had only strengthened, especially with Kida's acceptance to Matt's college, ensuring they remained together.

Their story had captured public attention, with news headlines and reporters delving into the terrifying ordeal. Headlines like "Survivors of Blackwood Mountain: A Tale of Horror and Resilience" and "Escape from the Mountain of Death" circulated widely, painting a picture of their harrowing experience. Opinions were mixed—some praised their bravery and resilience, while others were skeptical about the events, adding to the survivors' stress.

Kida's parents were deeply concerned, especially her father, who had always warned her about the mountain's strange aura. He had an uneasy feeling from the start and now felt vindicated, but also deeply troubled by what Kida had endured. Her mother, while supportive, was worried about Kida's mental well-being and the long-term impact of the trauma.

Matt's mom was a pillar of strength for him, offering unconditional support and understanding. She worried constantly about his mental health but was grateful that Kida was by his side, helping him cope. The ordeal had brought them closer as a family, with regular check-ins and heartfelt conversations.

Their friends faced their own struggles, and the group's dynamics had shifted. Mike hid his trauma behind humor, but his relationship with Emily had deteriorated completely. Emily chose not to press charges against Mike for the attempted murder when he almost shot her, but she made it clear she didn't want him near her. The distance between them was palpable, a constant reminder of the fragile trust that had been shattered.

Jessica battled anxiety and depression, relying heavily on Mike's support, even as he dealt with his own guilt and trauma. Sam channeled her energy into environmental activism, finding purpose in her cause, but she too felt a growing disconnection from the group. Ashley and Chris, both grappling with PTSD, found solace in their budding relationship, often withdrawing from the others to cope together. Emily, ever determined, focused on her fashion career to regain control, keeping herself isolated from the group more often than not. Josh, the most affected, continued intensive therapy and psychiatric care, slowly progressing in his recovery but remaining distant from his friends.

Despite their individual battles and the subtle disassociation within the group, they stayed in touch, providing a vital, if strained, support network. They regularly checked in on each other, drawing strength from their shared experiences, even as they struggled to maintain their old bonds.

For Matt and Kida, their journey was far from over, but with each other, they felt capable of overcoming any challenge. Their love, forged in the crucible of their ordeal, was unbreakable, and together, they looked forward to whatever came next.

The public eye remained fascinated with their story, but amidst the media frenzy, they found solace in their private moments, knowing that their true strength lay in their unwavering bond and the support of those who truly understood what they had been through. The fractured dynamics of their group underscored the complexity of their healing, but it was in the small, intimate moments that Matt and Kida found the resilience to keep moving forward. h.

Warning: Smut (You guys would still read anyways)

⸻Kida shot up from the bed as she heaved loudly clutching her chest and hair. Realizing she's in a familiarity of her surroundings, a room where she found solace in. She took a huge breath of relief and covered herself with the blanket as it gave her more comfort. It's been another night where she had the same dream, over and over again. The dream of her being trapped alive. Hearing Josh's psycho voice. The breathing. The closed space. How many more nights will this continue?

She knew that it was a prank overall which had still wounded Kida with her relationship with Josh. She hate that she removed him from her life as the resentment towards him was 10x worse than those who play a prank on Hannah.

She felt warm arms wrap around her securely as small kisses were placed on her cheek.

Matt, who was sleeping lightly in case her nightmares occurred again; woke up instantly to his girlfriend having a slight panic attack.

"Having those dreams again, baby?"

Kida couldn't speak; her throat felt like it was constricting, but she gave a firm nod, clutching his hands tightly. The silent affirmation spoke volumes. Matt sighed somberly, understanding the depth of the trauma they both carried.

From Matt's perspective, every day felt like a balancing act between maintaining a facade of normalcy and battling the demons that haunted him. The physical pain from his right leg was a constant reminder of that night, a dull ache that flared up at the most inconvenient times. He had learned to push through it, to hide his wince when he stood up too quickly or walked too far. But the psychological scars were harder to conceal.

He looked at Kida, her face illuminated by the soft night light, and felt a surge of gratitude mixed with guilt. She was his anchor, but he worried about the weight she had to bear. Nights were the hardest; the nightmares were relentless, dragging him back to the mountain's horrors. He often woke up in a cold sweat, heart pounding, and Kida would be there, whispering soothing words, her touch grounding him.

Matt knew they couldn't escape the public eye either. Reporters still hounded them for interviews, and the headlines, though less frequent, continued to sensationalize their ordeal. He hated the intrusion, the way it stripped them of their privacy, but he also understood the morbid fascination people had with their story. It did become a headache trying to explain about what they've seen on that mountain with the horrible wendigos, but everyone ridiculed him. If only Matt could show evidence, but he knew that he wasn't going to set foot on that mountain ever again.

He gently rubbed her back, offering what comfort he could. He knew the pain she was going through, and anyone who had survived that night could understand. It was hard to see the people he cared about, including himself, bear the scars of such a traumatic event, knowing they would never be the same again.

"I've been having these nightmares too," Matt admitted softly. "With the wen-"

He stopped himself, feeling Kida's body tense at the mention of the creatures that had haunted their night.

"Do you want to..go some place to clear your head?" Matt asked softly, his voice breaking the silence that enveloped them.

Kida sighed, her fingers tracing light circles on his chest, feeling the soft fabric of his tank top beneath her touch. "I don't think I want to go back out there," she admitted, her voice laced with lingering fear and hesitation.

Matt's expression softened with understanding. "I understand."

He plopped back on the bed, pulling Kida down with him, and kissed her forehead gently, adjusting her bonnet with a tender touch. Kida snuggled closer into his arms, finding solace in his embrace.

"I love you, Matt," she whispered, her voice carrying the weight of her emotions.

"I love you more, Angel," he replied, his words filled with sincerity and warmth.

They lay there in comfortable silence for a while, each lost in their thoughts. The night light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over them. Kida's mind began to drift toward something she had longed for, something she hadn't voiced yet but felt deeply in the depths of her heart.

"Matt..." she began hesitantly.

"Angel," he responded, his eyes meeting hers with gentle curiosity.

Kida traced light circles on Matt's chest, her mind wandering. "I've been thinking," she said softly, "about what's next for us. Where do we go from here?"

Matt looked down at her, his eyes soft with affection. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, we can't just pretend that nothing happened. We have to move forward, but how? With Josh in the psych ward and everyone else dealing with their own shit, it feels like we're all just...lost."

Matt sighed, his hand continuing to stroke her back. "I get what you're saying. It's like we've been given a second chance, but we're not sure what to do with it."

Kida nodded, feeling a lump form in her throat. "I don't want to feel like we're just existing, you know? I want to live, to find a way to make sense of everything and not let it define us."

Matt kissed the top of her head. "I get it, Angel. It's like we've been given a second chance, but we're not sure what to do with it. But we'll figure it out together. We're stronger than what happened to us."

Kida looked up at him, her eyes shining with determination. "I want us to make new memories, ones that aren't tainted by the past. I want to do things that remind us of who we are and what we love."

Matt's heart swelled with love and pride. "Absolutely. We'll find those moments, those places. We'll create a new path for ourselves, one step at a time."

Kida smiled softly. "Yeah, I like the sound of that. It's just...sometimes it feels like a heavy weight, you know? Like the past is always lurking, waiting to pull us back."

Matt nodded, understanding completely. "I know, babe. It's a process, and it's okay to feel that way. We'll take it day by day, together. And whenever it feels too much, we lean on each other."

Kida nestled closer into his embrace, feeling the warmth and security of his presence. "Thank you, Matt. For everything. I don't know what I'd do without you."

"You'll never have to find out," Matt whispered, his voice filled with unwavering conviction. "We're in this together, no matter what."

Kida looked up as their lips were close to brushing. She held his chin, her fingers gently tracing his jawline as she gazed deeply into his eyes. Matt's hands moved slowly, almost reverently, along her back, his touch sending shivers down her spine. The room seemed to shrink around them, the outside world fading into insignificance.

"I'm ready," she whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of anticipation and vulnerability. The weight of her words hung in the air, charged with emotion.

Matt's brow furrowed slightly. "For what?"

Kida's gaze deepened, her eyes a storm of longing and determination. The intensity of her look conveyed everything she was feeling, and Matt's eyes glimmered in realization. His heart raced, but he kept his cool. They hadn't have sex during their time together, as the trauma of the past had cast a long shadow over them.

Matt knew that Kida had never been sexually active despite her teasing demeanor. He felt a profound sense of honor and responsibility knowing he would be her first.

"Are you sure? I don't wanna rush," he asked, his voice gentle and filled with concern. Kida's delicate hands traced across his temple and chest, her touch a soothing balm to his anxiety.

"I want my mind off it. And I need you to distract me. Are you down to distract me?" she replied, her tone soft yet resolute. There was a vulnerability in her eyes, a plea for comfort and connection.

A slow, reassuring smile spread across Matt's face. "Mmm, I'm always down.

Kida crashed her lips onto Matt's, the soft velvety flesh colliding with each other in a passionate kiss. Matt wrapped his strong arms around her, pulling her closer as their bodies melded together.

Kida's heart pounded as she felt the warmth of Matt's embrace envelop her. Their kiss deepened, tongues dancing in a rhythm of shared need and desire. Matt's hands roamed gently over her back, his fingers tracing the curve of her spine, sending shivers down her body.

Kida's hands mirrored his movements, exploring the familiar terrain of his muscular frame, feeling the scars and strength that defined him.

He shifted, gently laying her back against the soft sheets, their eyes never breaking contact. The room around them seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in a cocoon of shared warmth and connection. The dim light cast soft shadows across their bodies, highlighting the contours of their forms and the raw vulnerability in their expressions.

Kida reached up, her fingers trailing along Matt's jawline, feeling the roughness of his slight stubble and the strong line of his chin. She guided him down, their lips meeting again in a kiss that spoke of promises and unspoken fears. Matt's hands moved to the hem of her shirt, and with her nod of consent, he lifted it over her head, revealing her bra.

Matt's gaze roamed over her, taking in every detail. The lingering bruises and fading scars were a testament to their survival, yet they did nothing to diminish her beauty in his eyes. His fingers traced the outline of an old bruise, and he leaned down to place a gentle kiss there,

His lips followed the path of his hands, leaving a trail of soft, reverent kisses along her collarbone and down to her chest. Kida's breath hitched, her body arching into his touch, seeking more of the connection she craved. Matt's touch was both tender and possessive, a careful balance of love and desire that made her feel cherished and safe.

Kida's hands trailed under Matt's tank top as her hands traced against his warm, hardened torso, feeling every inch of him.She tugged at his tank top, pulling it over his head and tossing it aside. Her fingers danced over his chest, feeling the scars and bruises that were slowly healing, each touch a silent acknowledgment of their shared survival. She swapped positions, straddling him with her legs on either side of his hips, as Matt propped himself up on his elbows, his eyes darkening with anticipation.

Matt's hands traced the curve of her back, sliding down to her firm, round, luscious ass, something he had longed to touch. His touch was electric, each caress igniting a fire within her. He trailed his kisses from the side of her face down to her neck, each kiss sending shivers through her body. Kida released a soft moan, her breath hitching as she removed her bra, revealing her breasts to him-soft, inviting, and gentle.

Matt's breath caught in his throat, his desire for her intensifying. He felt himself growing hard as Kida rubbed against him through the fabric, grinding her hips in a slow, tantalizing rhythm. A deep groan escaped his lips, mirroring the soft moan she let out.

Matt lowered his head, kissing along the swell of her breast before taking her nipple into his mouth. He sucked gently, his tongue flicking over the sensitive peak.

Kida's hands tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as her body arched into his touch. His hand slipped beneath the waistband of her panties, finding her slick with desire.

He rubbed her gently, his fingers knowing exactly where to touch. Kida moaned softly, her hips grinding against his hand as he circled her clit with light, deliberate pressure. The sensation was exquisite, a blend of pleasure and need.

Matt continued to tend to her breasts, his mouth and hands working in perfect harmony to bring her to the edge of ecstasy. Kida's moans grew louder, her body trembling with each stroke, each kiss. She felt herself spiraling toward release, the world around them fading into a haze of pure sensation.

Matt trailed his tongue up toward her neck, his breath hot and heavy with each suckle. His fingers moved with expert precision, sliding inside her, eliciting a low groan from his lips.

"You're mine now," Matt whispered, his voice thick with desire.

Kida smirked, her body drunk with ecstasy as she savored each moment. The intensity in his eyes, the possessiveness in his touch—it all made her feel alive, cherished, and desired. Matt flipped them over, pinning her beneath him. They both giggled, the sound breaking the tension for a brief moment before they shared a hot, heavy kiss.

Kida's foot traced down his leg, her touch sending shivers through his body. Matt grinded against her, the friction driving them both to the brink. Their breaths mingled, hot and heaving, as they lost themselves in each other.

"I'm going to have you say my name," Matt murmured between kisses, his voice a husky promise.

Kida's eyes sparkled with challenge and desire. "Don't hold back."

"Oh, I'm not," Matt replied.

He kissed her deeply one last time before spreading her thighs and moving lower to kiss her inner thighs. Kida watched, propping herself up on her elbows, her breath coming in short, eager gasps.

Matt's hands glided across her silky legs, trailing down to her socks. He gently removed them, revealing her dainty, wine-colored toes, which he kissed softly before his hands found the waistband of her panties.

Matt looked up for approval, and Kida gave him a nod, her heart pounding with anticipation. With careful, deliberate movements, he removed her panties, exposing her wet, shaved pussy. There she was, laid bare before him, a vision he had never thought he'd see in reality. It wasn't as though he hadn't dreamed of this moment or visualized it.

He had often wondered what it would be like to be inside her, to feel her touch, to hear her melodious moans. A guilty pleasure had sometimes crossed his mind during his times with Emily, where he imagined Kida in her place. Now, as he glanced over her body-from her eyes full of anticipation to her hard, chocolate nipples that stood so perfectly, her full lips he longed to kiss and suck until they were swollen, to her toned body that had transformed over the year-they were finally here. His cheeks flushed with warmth at the realization that this was the moment he would lose himself with the girl who was his best friend and lover.

Matt let out a sharp gasp as Kida touched him, her fingers exploring his length with a mixture of curiosity and desire. Kida felt herself growing more aroused, her breath hitching as she realized just how much she wanted him. Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she teased him, feeling the heat between them intensify.

"Fuck..." Matt groaned, his voice thick with need.

Kida's lips curled into a seductive smile.

"Does that feel good?"

Matt swallowed hard, his eyes dark with lust. "Yes, baby. It feels amazing."

"How about we remove this so you can have all of Kida Sinclair?" she suggested, her voice dripping with confidence.

Matt smirked, appreciating her boldness.

"Still confident, I see."

"You got that right," she replied, her voice a sultry whisper. "I think it's time for us to really get acquainted."

"Try not to wake up the neighborhood," he teased, though his tone was serious.

"That will depend," Kida replied playfully.

"Do you have any protection?"

Matt cursed himself as he remembered.

He sat up quickly, hurrying to his dresser and pulling out a box of condoms, grabbing one. Kida watched him, exhaling slowly as she prepared herself mentally for what was to come. She knew losing her virginity would be tense at first, but she also trusted Matt completely. She admired his frame, noticing how defined and sexy he looked, scars and all.

Matt turned around, spitting out a piece of the wrapper as he walked back to her. His eyes softened with concern as he approached.

"Are you sure you want to do this? If you need more time..." he began, his voice tender.

Kida reached up, placing a hand on his chest, feeling the strong, steady beat of his heart. "I've been through worse pain."

Matt nodded, acknowledging the truth in her words. "Fair point."

He took a deep breath, feeling the gravity of the moment settle over him. With a steady pace, Matt lowered his boxers, revealing his erection, causing Kida to gape slightly. He was big and curved, and Kida couldn't help but wonder how Emily had managed to let him go, how she had failed to see what she had left behind.

Anxiety crept into Kida, making her tremble slightly, but she steeled herself, reminding herself that this was just a momentary pain.

Matt's eyes never left hers as he carefully placed the condom on. He climbed into bed, covering them both as he hovered over her. "Just look at me, okay?" he murmured, his voice a soothing anchor in the midst of her swirling thoughts.

Kida nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. Matt took a deep breath, positioning himself with careful precision.

Their breaths mingled, shallow and rapid, as their eyes locked even further. Kida spread her legs slightly, feeling a mix of anticipation and fear as Matt pinned her hands above her head, intertwining their fingers. He leaned down, giving her a slow, tender kiss, whispering for her to breathe.

In that moment, Kida felt a sharp pain as he entered her, and she whimpered slightly, her brows furrowing as her nails dug into Matt's hand. He continued kissing her, moving from her lips to her temples, each touch a balm against the discomfort. He entered her slowly, inch by inch, indulging the slight pain from Kida's nails without complaint.

"You're doing great," he murmured between kisses, his voice a steadying force. "Just breathe, Angel. I've got you."

Kida focused on his eyes, on the way they seemed to hold the promise of safety and love. She took a deep breath, trying to relax as Matt fully sheathed himself inside her. The initial pain began to ebb, replaced by a deep sense of connection, of intimacy that went beyond the physical.

As Matt began to move, the discomfort faded further, replaced by a burgeoning pleasure that made her gasp. He moved slowly, each thrust deliberate and gentle, ensuring she was comfortable. His lips never stopped their tender ministrations, and his hands remained intertwined with hers, a constant reassurance.

Gradually, Kida's whimpers turned to soft moans, her body adjusting to the rhythm they were creating together. Matt's pace quickened slightly, but he remained attuned to her every reaction, ready to adjust if needed. The room seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of them, lost in each other.

Kida's voice was a breathless whisper, her legs spreading wider to accommodate him.

"Matt~"

He responded with a deeper thrust, eliciting a low moan from deep within his chest as he felt her warmth, her wetness, her tightness enveloping him. Every gasp of pleasure she made drove him further, his focus entirely on her. He kissed her a few times, soft and tender, before surprising her with a switch in his stroke pattern. She had always known Matt to be a sweetheart, but behind closed doors, his gentlemanly demeanor transformed into something more primal, more intense.

As Matt let go of their intertwined hands, he thrust deeper and deeper, their moans mingling in the charged air. Kida clung to him tightly, her eyes closing in ecstasy as Matt sucked on her neck, leaving a trail of hickeys that would linger for days. Each mark was a silent declaration to the world that she was his, a prized possession no one else could claim. Matt loved that she was his entirely, just as he was hers. He had lost her twice before, and he was determined never to let her slip away again.

"I love you so fucking much, Angel. You're mine, do you understand me?" Matt's voice was rough, edged with possessive fervor.

Kida's response was immediate, her voice thick with pleasure and emotion. "Fuck!

Yes!"

"Say it," Matt demanded, his thrusts deepening, driving them both towards the edge.

"I'm yours, baby!" Kida cried out, her hands gripping him tighter, her body arching into his.

"Don't forget it," Matt growled, his movements becoming more urgent, more desperate.

They crashed their lips together as the pounding grew intense, the lust between them taking over completely. Each thrust resonated with the longing, the loneliness, and the passion of the years they had spent together. Kida felt herself getting wetter and wetter, momentarily wondering if she had lost control.

Suddenly, Kida moved atop him, her hands braced against his chest as she rode him with a fierce, determined rhythm. Matt's hands gripped her hips, guiding her movements, his eyes fixed on the sight of her taking him in, over and over. "God, Kida, you feel so good," he groaned, his voice rough with lust. "Look at you, taking me so perfectly."

Kida's moans filled the room, a symphony of pleasure that drove Matt wild. "Matt, oh fuck," she panted, her pace quickening. "I can't get enough of you."

He thrust up into her, their lips meeting in a fervent kiss that spoke volumes of their desire. "You're so tight, Angel," Matt murmured against her lips. "I love watching you like this, riding me like you own me."

Kida's nails dug into his shoulders, her breath hitching with every movement. "I do own you," she whispered, a wicked smile playing on her lips. "And you own me."

Matt's control faltered, his need to dominate taking over. He flipped her onto her hands and knees, positioning himself behind her. The sight of her arching back and the way her body welcomed him made his breath catch.

"You're so beautiful," he said, his voice husky. "I'm going to make you scream my name."

He entered her slowly, savoring the way she clenched around him. Kida's moans turned to cries of pleasure, her head falling forward as she braced herself against the bed. "Yes, baby! Just like that," she gasped, her voice filled with pure ecstasy.

Matt's hands roamed her body, gripping her hips as he increased his pace. The view was intoxicating, her body moving in time with his thrusts, every inch of her responding to his touch. "You like that, don't you?" he growled, his hands slapping her ass lightly making it recoil. "You love being fucked like this."

Kida's response was a desperate moan, her body trembling with the intensity of their connection. "Fuck! Don't stop," she pleaded, her voice breaking with need.

He leaned over her, his chest pressing against her back, his breath hot against her ear. "You're mine, Kida. All mine," he whispered, his thrusts becoming harder, more demanding.

"Yes, Matt! I'm yours. Always," Kida cried out, her body arching against him as she reached the brink of release.

Matt's gaze was filled with desire as he gently pushed Kida back onto the bed, his hands trailing down her body. He kissed her deeply, savoring the taste of her lips before moving lower, his lips grazing her neck, her collarbone, and down to her breasts. He took his time, worshipping every inch of her skin, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

"Matt," Kida whispered, her voice trembling with anticipation as he continued his descent. He smirked against her skin, loving the way she responded to his touch.

"Just relax, Angel," he murmured, his breath hot against her belly. "Let me take care of you."

He moved lower, spreading her legs gently, and positioned himself between them. The sight of her glistening with arousal made his pulse quicken. He placed a soft kiss on her inner thigh, his eyes never leaving hers as he moved closer to her core.

Kida's breath hitched as Matt's tongue finally made contact, the sensation sending a jolt of pleasure through her body. He started slow, teasing her with light, flicking movements that made her squirm. "Matt," she moaned, her hands gripping the sheets.

Matt's grip tightened on her thighs, holding her steady as he increased the pressure, his tongue moving with deliberate precision. He savored the taste of her, the way her body responded to his every movement. He found her most sensitive spots and focused on them, his mouth working in tandem with his fingers to drive her wild.

"God, you taste so good," he groaned, his voice vibrating against her. He could feel her getting closer, her body tensing beneath him. He wanted to push her over the edge, to see her unravel completely.

Kida's moans grew louder, her hips bucking against his mouth as she lost herself in the sensation. "Matt, please," she gasped, her body trembling. "I'm about to cum."

He doubled his efforts, his tongue and fingers moving in perfect harmony. "Come for me, Kida," he urged, his voice low and commanding. "I want to feel you."

With a final, powerful stroke of his tongue, Kida's body convulsed, her cries of pleasure filling the room. She rode out her orgasm, Matt's hands keeping her grounded as wave after wave of ecstasy washed over her.

He didn't stop until he felt her relax, her breathing slowing as she came down from her high. He moved back up her body, kissing her deeply, letting her taste herself on his lips. "You okay?" he asked softly, his eyes searching hers.

Kida pulled him close, her hands tangled in his hair. "My turn," she said, her voice filled with a mix of eagerness and determination.

Matt shifted onto his back, watching as Kida positioned herself between his legs. The anticipation made his heart race, his body aching with need. She looked up at him, her eyes dark with desire, before lowering her head and taking him into her mouth.

The sensation was immediate and intense, Matt's eyes closing as a groan escaped his lips. Kida's mouth was warm and wet, her tongue swirling around him with expert precision as saliva dripped. She took her time, teasing him, building him up slowly.

"Fuck, Kida," he moaned, his hands gripping the sheets. "Just like that."

Kida hummed in response, the vibration adding to the sensation. She took him deeper, her movements becoming more deliberate as she found a rhythm. Matt's hips bucked involuntarily, his hands moving to tangle in her hair, guiding her gently as she pleasured him.

"Oh, shit," he groaned, his voice strained with pleasure. "I fucking love you."

Kida's eyes flicked up to meet his, filled with a mix of mischief and desire. She hollowed her cheeks, increasing the suction as she moved her mouth up and down his length. Her tongue swirled around the head as the saliva continued as she slurped, teasing the sensitive spot just beneath it before taking him deep again.

Matt's breathing grew ragged, his grip tightening in her hair. The pleasure was almost overwhelming, every nerve ending alight with sensation. "Just like that," he encouraged, his voice a low growl. "You're driving me crazy."

Kida's pace quickened, her hand joining her mouth as she stroked him in tandem with her movements. She could feel him tensing, his body coiling tighter with each passing second. She wanted to push him over the edge, to see him lose control completely.

"Angel," Matt warned, his hips thrusting up to meet her mouth. "I'm so close."

Kida didn't let up, her movements becoming more urgent, more insistent.

She wanted to feel him come undone, to taste his release. She focused on him entirely, every flick of her tongue, every stroke of her hand designed to drive him higher.

With a final, desperate groan, Matt's body tensed, his release crashing over him like a tidal wave. He came hard, his hands gripping her hair as he spilled into her mouth. Kida swallowed eagerly, her eyes locked on his as she continued to milk him for every drop.

Matt's body shuddered with aftershocks, his breathing uneven as he tried to regain control. Kida released him slowly, her lips trailing up his body as she moved to lie beside him. She kissed him deeply, as Matt's hands gripped her ass, giving a nice smack.

"Where did you fucking learn that," Matt whispered, his voice still rough from the intensity of his orgasm. He pulled her close, his arms wrapping around her in a protective embrace.

Kida smiled against his lips, her body still humming with the afterglow of their passion. "I just know,"

Matt gazed upon her as he was still exhausted. "I should've confessed to you a long time ago,"

Kida giggled as her eyes swell with sincerity, "I wonder what had took you so long,"

Moments later they had drifted to sleep while intertwined in the sheets feeling a relief of satisfaction as the dawn broke through the curtains.

⸻As noon approached, they lay in bed tangled in the sheets, slumber consuming them. They were naked, disheveled, and deeply satisfied. Matt lay on his back, while Kida sprawled on her stomach, her coils covering her face.

Matt was the first to wake, the bright sun streaming through the room causing him to grumble slightly. The light was overbearing, and his vision took a moment to clear. He rubbed his eyes, slowly becoming more alert. Stretching slightly, he tried to recall what had happened. The memories flooded back, and he felt light as a feather, a sense of deep contentment settling over him.

Turning his head, he felt the warmth to his right and saw Kida's bare back exposed. A smile spread across his face as the clarity of their earlier passion returned. He cuddled closer to her, placing gentle kisses along her back, his strong arm wrapping around her frame.

Matt's voice, deep and raspy with sleep, broke the comfortable silence. "Rise and shine, Angel."

Kida blinked slowly, her eyes adjusting to the light. "Hi. What time is it?" she asked, her voice still heavy with sleep as she faced Matt.

Matt shrugged, his grin lazy and content. "Probably around noon or so."

Kida groaned softly, stretching her limbs. "Didn't get enough sleep."

"Me neither. You were snoring too much," Matt teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Kida raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a playful smirk. "Yeah right. I do not snore."

"Yes, you do. And I'm just teasing. I woke up not too long before you did."

Kida rolled her eyes affectionately. "Always got jokes."

Matt's expression softened, his gaze tender. "How are you feeling?"

"I feel good. Better than before. I'm a bit sore though," Kida admitted, shifting slightly to ease the mild discomfort.

Matt chuckled, a low, warm sound that sent a pleasant shiver down her spine. "Seems like I gave you a workout."

"You sure did. I can get used to that," Kida replied, her tone playful but sincere.

Matt leaned in, capturing her lips in a sweet, lingering kiss. When they pulled apart, he couldn't help but stare at her, captivated by the way her chocolate skin glowed in the sunlight streaming through the window.

Kida tilted her head slightly, curiosity dancing in her eyes. "What's on your mind, Matthew?"

He smiled, his thoughts trailing off to the memories they shared. "Our journey. And of course, how much I want to have you begging for mercy again."

Kida laughed, a soft, melodious sound. "Shut up, I was not that loud, was I?"

Matt chuckled. "I'm pretty sure the wendigos on the mountain could hear you."

Suddenly, the humor fell flat as Kida's expression darkened. Matt bit his lip nervously, realizing the insensitivity of his joke given the horrors they had faced on that mountain.

Matt frowned as he saw Kida getting out of bed. "I didn't mean-"

Kida shook her head and smiled softly, cutting him off. "Relax, love. I'm not mad. The humor would've been funny if we weren't fighting for our lives. Josh would've made jokes about it..."

Matt sighed, a pang of guilt settling in his chest. "You miss him, don't you?"

"Yeah," Kida admitted, her voice tinged with sadness. "But I made a pact with myself to not get involved with him until he's 100% free from the demons he's facing."

Matt nodded, understanding the complexity of her emotions. "Yeah..."

Kida grabbed her shirt and started to dress herself as Matt watched with slight disappointment. He enjoyed her bareness, the vulnerability and intimacy it brought them, but he understood they couldn't stay in their bubble forever.

She paused, looking back at him, and then dropped the shirt back onto the floor. With a mischievous smile, she climbed back into the bed, straddling him gently. Matt held her waist, his hands tracing light patterns on her skin.

"Let's go somewhere," she started with a small smile.

Matt raised an eyebrow, curious. "Okay, where?"

"The place where we started to grow closer," she hinted, her smile growing more playful.

It took Matt a moment to catch on, but then he remembered. "The beach?" he asked, his eyes lighting up with recognition. "The one we went to during junior year?"

Kida nodded, her smile widening. "Yeah, that one. I think we could both use some fresh air and a little nostalgia."

Matt's mind drifted back to that day nearly three years ago, when they had spent hours talking and laughing on the sand, sharing their dreams and fears. It was the day they had truly started to bond, the foundation of their relationship forming under the sun and beside the crashing waves.

Kida looked down at him, her expression turning serious. "We've been through so much, Matt. Sometimes it feels overwhelming."

Matt nodded, his hands gently squeezing her waist. "I know. But we're still here, still standing. We survived, Kida. And not just that night. Every day, we're surviving."

"You're right," she said, her voice filled with determination. "We've faced things that could have broken us, but they didn't. We're stronger now because of it."

Matt smiled, his heart swelling with love and admiration. "I love you, Kida. More than anything."

"I love you too, Matt," she replied, her voice steady and sure.

Matt's eyes sparkled with a teasing light. "But before we go, I think we need a shower. We're a bit... ripe from this morning."

Kida laughed, a bright sound that filled the room. "Oh, really? You're not man enough to handle a little sweat?" she quipped, a playful glint in her eye.

Matt chuckled, shaking his head. "I just think we'd both enjoy the beach more if we were a little fresher."

Kida rolled her eyes dramatically, but the smile on her face was unmistakable. "Fine, but only because I don't want you whining about it later."

She sauntered toward the bathroom, throwing a flirtatious look over her shoulder. "You coming, or are you just going to stand there looking lost?"

Matt watched her go, his heart swelling with affection and desire. He followed her, the sight of her playful demeanor and the sway of her hips drawing him in like a magnet.

They stepped into the shower together, the warm water cascading over their bodies, washing away the remnants of their earlier passion. The closeness, the feel of her skin against his, was comforting and grounding. They didn't speak much, letting the water and the silence communicate what words couldn't.

⸻Matt's Mustang roared through the streets, the powerful engine humming a comforting rhythm as they drove. Soft music played in the background, creating a serene atmosphere. Kida gazed out the window, daydreaming as she took in the lush scenery of summer. She let the window down and rested her head on the frame, allowing the wind to play with her hair. Matt couldn't help but admire her, affection shining in his eyes as he reminisced about all the memories that had led them to this moment.

He had all of her, and she had all of him. They both knew they still had a long road to recovery from the torment of the mountain, but together, they felt each day getting a little bit better. The fact that she was going to the same school as him now made them even more inseparable, a thought that filled Matt with happiness.

Their friends, who had shared the same harrowing journey, were often on their minds. Matt and Kida hoped that one day, they would all find a way to let the experience strengthen them rather than letting that night on Blackwood Mountain derail their lives.

As Matt drove, he reached over and took Kida's hand, their fingers intertwining naturally. She turned to him, and their eyes met, exchanging looks filled with affection and hope. It was a silent promise to each other that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.

Matt's mind drifted back to the pivotal moments that had shaped their relationship: the first time they met, the shared laughter, the tears, and the countless nights of confiding in each other. Each memory was a testament to their resilience and commitment to one another.

The car moved steadily along the road, the scenery shifting from urban to the serene expanse of the countryside. The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows inside the car. Kida closed her eyes for a moment, letting the warmth and the rhythm of the drive lull her into a state of peaceful contentment.

Matt glanced at her, a small smile playing on his lips. He felt a profound sense of gratitude for her presence in his life. The trials they had faced together had forged a bond that was unbreakable. They had survived the worst and emerged stronger for it.

The Mustang continued to roar down the open road, carrying them toward new adventures and uncharted territories. The memories of the past mingled with the hopes for the future, creating a tapestry of shared experiences and dreams.

The road was long, and their journey was just beginning, but with Kida by his side, Matt was certain it would be the most meaningful and fulfilling adventure of all.

The End.

Thank you all for reading this book. I did grow attached to my own OC which is kind of hard for me to let go of the story. Lmao. This is probably my first time completing a fanfic without catching writers block. I am also surprised to how many words that I have written. I enjoyed writing the additional scenes, character development, and more insight. I do plan on possibly writing a sequel along with more Until Dawn fics that'll include easter eggs. If you come across any errors, or have simple questions and concerns, write it down in the comments. Thank you all for the support!
