I have decided to remove the straight bashing concept from my fic. I read a lot of reviews on other stories regarding bashing and I really do agree with them. It's a really cheap way for someone to showcase their prejudices against certain characters and it's a really cheap try at comedy. I will still be taking jabs at characters as I still believe that when used right, it can induce laughs in a story that seems dragged out by constant drama. However, these jabs will be more spaced out rather than after every sentence the characters say like how most people view bashing. My intention at the beginning was for it to be more controlled rather than a "You're a fucking idiot, I wanna know what exactly lives in your fangirl of a brain" after everything they say, but I still feel the need to properly explain my characters rather than being one of those who can't write characters or they just hate them so much that they need to shit on them every chance they get.
Instead, I aim to try and give characters proper motivations behind their actions, whether its being power hungry, boy crazy, or something. But be sure you will be able to find a reason as to why these characters are acting the way that they are. For instance, with Danzo, rather than just outright making him a power-hungry warlord, I wanted to give him actual reason to be wary of the Uchiha clan (His own history with how they act and how they would react to their family being killed for seemingly "no reason".)
I'm sorry if you were trying to see some people get absolutely torn down in my story, but after seeing the reviews and agreeing with their interpretations of it, I have to agree with them. I just can't put complete bashing in the fic, but I will still be taking jabs at everyone.
