The things health, STR, VIT and DEX was higher than me but I'm hoping my magic will help me out here. With 200 mana and [Magic Missile] costing only 10 to cast, I could throw 20 of them before running out of mana and that was without taking my regen into account, At 16 (not sure if per minute or per second, but I'm gonna make a small assumption that its per minute, before I somehow get myself killed), I'd be able to shoot another [Magic Missile] after a minute and 15 seconds.
Are you done, I hope you are, because I you're ready or not, I'm unpausing the zombie. GO.
The zombie started moving forward again, its slow and awkward gait meaning even as it was moving closer I could outrun it if I tried hard enough, stat point could be deceiving apparently. Taking a moment to run through some calculations I prepared to fire my first spell [Magic Missile]. My hand seemed to rise on its own, forming a finger gun with my index finger pointing at the zombie. What looked like small bullets made out of magic shot out of my finger and rocketed at the zombie, hitting it directly in the chest!

Zombie HP: 250 225
The zombie seemed to stagger a bit as the missile impacted it. This would be easier than I thought. [Magic Missile], casting another magic missile in order to see if the zombie would be staggered again.
MP: 193 183
Zombie HP: 225 200
My mana seemed to have recharged a bit, though the zombies health didn't tic up at all, so my mana regen was per minute but it climbed a bit per second still. The zombie most likely had to wait the full minute before it's health would regen, so I just had to cast enough [magic Missile]'s fast enough to kill it before then, though considering I dealt more damage than it could regen per minute, even if it did hit the minute mark, I would be able to drain its health faster than it could regen it. The zombie was a little closer than it was before, but at the slow pace it was moving, it was still a while away from reaching e, so I just took a few steps back to get away from the zombie. That worked. Casting 5 [Magic Missile]'s I watched its health trickle down alongside my mana.
MP: 188 138
Zombie HP: 200 75
Once again my mana had gone up a bit in the timed it took between my 2 castings, though the exact number would be a pain to calculate, at the very least I knew there should be a .2 something increase per second meaning 5 seconds to regain 1, so either my maths was off or the tutorial granted me an increase in mana regen, it would also explain the surprisingly slow movement of the zombie. Just three more cast in order to kill the zombie. When calculating the number of times I could cast [Magic Missile] I wasn't considering how many I needed to cast to actually kill it. Looking at the zombie's health alongside my mana, and b0th seemed to have ticked up by a bit
MP: 138 145
Zombie HP: 7591
Yes even with its health regen, in four more hits the zombie would be dead. [Magic Missile]. [Magic Missile]. [Magic Missile]. [Magic Missile]. With four casts of the spell I watch as the zombies health whittled down.

Yes, it seemed simple but it still took, a while in order to kill that thing. Could a new skill be the answer? I heard a crunch in front of me and looked down, a gnarled arm was sticking out of the ground, looks like that's how the next few zombie was going to come out to attack me, maybe.

My first quest, I'm beginning to see a pattern here, since it's the tutorial everything is easier than I thought it would be, it'll most likely get harder as I go on. The zombie had finally completely removed itself from the ground, for the next one I should try shooting at it before it completely removes itself from the ground. Taking aim, I shot a [Magic Missile] at it.
MP: 202 192
Zombie HP: 250 225
The same, it would take a while to level up the skills. I wanted to be able to do this more efficiently, instead of letting [The System] guide my actions when it came to using [magic Missile],instead I lifter both hands up to form finger guns pointing at the zombie, trying to replicate the feeling I had every time I activate [Magic Missile], feeling the magic build up as it shot at the zombie.

[Duel Casting] LVL 1/100 (0/4000)
Who has time to shoot a spell one by one, double up on it and do more damage than you normally would?
Damage - (DamageX2) + 1%
Cost - (CostX2) - 1%
Note – Numbers are rounded up when doing calculations
So at the current left they would still cost the same and deal the same damage, which wasn't so bad since I'm assuming that as the skill level increased, the bonus would get higher. At the very least I could use the skill twice as fast now. With four more cast of [Magic Missile], the zombie was dead

Hm. 10 more zombies to go, the ground started rumbling again. With only 9 more cast of [Magic Missile] available, I needed a bit of a rest. So I ran, I mean I strategically retreated. Putting as much distance between me and the zombie as I possibly could.
New Skill Cre.
Not use full right now. When I got far enough that I couldn't see the zombie anymore I sat down for a bit. Can I see the pop up you wanted to show me again.

The quintessential skill for most Mage type gamers – which was the direction that [?] seemed to be pushing me towards or had already planned for me to become – the [Meditation] skill. Theoretically [Gamers Mind] should make this easier, hopefully. So sat down, relaxed and tried to clear my mind

Good, "nngh". That was the zombie getting closer; my [Magic Missile] casting amount was still 20 at the moment but that was because my mana was still recovering. With five more [Magic Missile]'s another zombie down.

This might take a while "nngh". I heard a quite groan from the distance, I'd have though that the zombie would spawn closer to me, but that gives me time – at least five minutes – if the amount of time it took me to learn the [Meditation] skill. Sitting down, I get back to [Meditation] for a minute or two. Three minute was all it took to refill my MP bar, and the zombie was still a bit away, at the very least I could . Could I snipe it. Taking aim I casted [Magic Missile] with [Duel Casting]. I saw the missile flying towards the zombie.
It grazed it. It didn't make full contact, was this supposed to be [The System] telling me that my aim was terrible.
Due to not hitting enemy directly, damage has been cut by /10
MP: 242224
Zombie HP: 250245
That was disappointing, very much so. Could I not snipe, was there some kind of skill I was missing, a class. How do I unlock the sniping skill
You can unlock the [Magic Snipe] skill by successfully landing a long distance shot and you have [DEX]% chance of landing a successful hit.
So the only way to get the skill is to increase my DEX or hope I get a lucky hit in at some point. I guess I'll just wait.

The Jack of all trade but a master of none is a great way to describe the most average race in the universe.
Grants a 25% XP boost to all XP
Grants 5 Stat Points per LVL

HP Regen = (VIT/10)%
MP = (LVL*50) + (INT*25) /Not including LVL 1
MP Regen = (WIS/10)%
That's helpful to know, this is my own fault for not asking earlier, isn't it. Ignoring that for now. Based on the rate it took the zombies to get to me and the time it took my mana to regen.
(AN – This is based on rough estimation, I was not using actual math on this, math is hard)

I'll be honest, I expected there to be some kind of hidden reward and I'll gladly accept two easy levels. Can I see my level progress?
Level: 1 (1688/4000)
I need to get to Lvl 10 to unlock the class option, and I haven't levelled up any of my skills besides [Meditation] and [Running] and that was only because of the quest rewards. Can I know what to expect in the next level of the dungeon. I'm curious since [Meditation] increases my mana regen, shouldn't it count as mana usage thus levelling up [Mana manipulation] or at the very least it should have a bit more xp.

How long do I have till I have to leave the dungeon and/or go to the next level.
If you're trying to grind skills to obscene amounts without too much danger your out of luck. You'll be given the option again in 2 minutes and if you don't pick I'll be sending you to your first world.
Who decided that.
Not only by [?], but also some of the other gamers and watchers.
I want to say that's not fair but I'm assuming it could be much worse.
Yes, dungeons pass by in real time and after completing the dungeon you can only spend 2 minutes between LVL's before you either have to leave or move on to the next LVL.
I'm guessing that the two minutes is [?] ways of saying fuck you to the watchers since most gamers like the cheats and hacks that is the instant dungeon.
YUP
At the very least I can spend the next two minutes trying to level up meditation, what about magic skills.
[Mana Manipulation] will gain XP alongside [Meditation]. Any attacks mana related or otherwise needs a target to gain experience.
Sitting down, I get ready to use the exploits that was left for me to use. Activating [Meditation]. I lost myself for the next two minutes.

That is some motivation considering the level up re3quirent and the low amount of XP I've gotten so far, but this might take a while though, the [Fast Learner] skill sounds like it would be a big advantage, since it would most likely be a XP boost hopefully. What the hell, you only get one extra life – I think -. Accept
Quest Accepted
Would you like to enter the next LVL of the Dungeon?

Well, if the rewards were that good, then I wasn't gonna pass up the opportunity, especially considering how long it would take to get to level 2 based on the max XP a zombie could provide. 32, if you're wondering, if I was starting from 0 XP. 100XP with the 25% boost. 4000 went into 125 perfectly, somehow. "Yes". I speak so sporadically.
(AN – This was not planed. I'm mostly making this up as I go along)
Welcome to the [Zombie Dungeon LVL 2]
After the [Zombies] took over the backyard, they moved onto the rest of the world and in the end the barren wasteland before you is all that's left.
Drops – [10-150] XP, [10-150] Credits, Zombie Flesh[Crafting Material], Random loot
"Uuuurghhh…". There it was. "Inventory", two slots had items in it, ignoring the junk, clicking on the [Mana shot] book, I watched as the book turned to blue particles and rushed into my body.
[Magic Shot] LVL 1/100 (/4000)
Shot a shot of mana out of your finger, similar to magic missile but different

Minor INT Crystal

Two groans filled my ears. I turned to see two zombies approaching me instead of just one. Crushing the crystal in between my fingers. I took a quick look at the effect it had on my INT and mana.

Zombie 2 HP: 250
I'd have to think this through a bit, two enemies was more annoying than one after all. Retreat a bit, I ran a bit out of the way. I see why the system wanted me to get good, if the second level of a beginner dungeon was giving me his much trouble, I needed an AoE spell, to deal with this, time for my favourite starter spell.
Time to get good.
