I'm such a terrible writer lol.
[Does the Host wish to see his status window?]
[Yes/No]
He looks at the bright blue screen in front of him in awe. With a slight stutter, he mutters, "W-what is this? Yes. I guess"
The screen changes almost immediately as he speaks, its bright blue hue shifting.

"This is all happening too fast..." He says and looks at his surroundings. The vast blue sea stretches out endlessly, the scent of rotting flesh still lingering in the air. The bodies around him seem even more surreal now, contrasting starkly with the vibrant interface floating before his eyes.
He notices an open door and quickly walks into the door of the ship.
"One Piece? Is there where I am?" He says after noticing the familiar word he saw at his status. 'Haki, Devil Fruit.'
Rei had a diverse set of interests beyond his love for archery. One of his main passions was manga and novels. He enjoyed immersing himself in various stories and characters that they offered.
While he did watch anime occasionally, his preference leaned heavily towards reading manga. One notable series that Rei had read in its entirety was "One Piece," a globally popular manga.
Although he appreciated "One Piece," it wasn't his top favorite. This wasn't due to any dislike for the series; rather, Rei found other stories that captivated his interest more deeply and resonated with him on a personal level.
Rei looked back to his status and noticed one last button. 'Inventory.'
He attempted to tap on the screen, assuming it operated like a touchscreen device. However, to his surprise, his hand simply passed through it without any effect. Puzzled by this, he wondered aloud how he could access his 'Inventory.' At that moment, almost as if responding to his thoughts, the 'Inventory' screen abruptly appeared in front of him. The sudden manifestation startled him, making him step back in surprise as he tried to comprehend the unexpected functionality of the system.
"Oh, I see. I guess I just have to think about it." He says.
His inventory appeared limited, containing only three items: a 'Quiver,' 'Arrows (×120),' and a 'Bow.' Apart from these essentials for archery, there was nothing else present. He noted the simplicity of his inventory, which seemed focused solely on equipping him for his archery pursuits.
"Sweet! A bow and arrow. How did the system know I liked archery though? Whatever, it's not concerning for now." He says, his demeanor noticeably more composed than earlier.
"Ok... So, my guess right now is that I've been sent to another world like those Novels and Mangas I read. In other words, this is an Isekei." He said, placing his hand on his chin in a thoughtful gesture.
He looked back up at the system, his gaze fixed on the interface before him.
"Uh, Mrs. System. What timeline am I in?" he asked, his tone hopeful as he awaited a response from the system.
[Hey! Who told you I'm a Mrs?!]
Rei was startled by the reply, his mind racing as he tried to understand the situation unfolding before him.
"I-I just thought so since your voice sounds feminine, you know?"
[Pft- Whatever. The host is in the same Timeline when Luffy first started his journey. Luffy will set sail 3 days from now.]
"Thank you, Mrs- Never mind."
[You have been granted permission to call me Mrs.]
I gained a small smile, stood up from the bed I was sitting on, and walked out the door I had entered earlier. The stench of rotten corpses hit my nose once more, and I quickly covered it to shield myself from the unpleasant odor.
"I've got to do something about these bodies..." I said aloud, looking around as I finally noticed my surroundings. I was standing on a ship, an old and presumably abandoned one.
"It seems like no one's alive on this thing," I muttered with caution, walking over to one of the lifeless bodies strewn across the cold, wooden floor.
"I'm sorry for doing what I'm about to do," Rei said solemnly before grabbing the bodies one by one and yanking them off the ship.
Rei looked out into the vast blue sea and watched the lifeless bodies floating there.
"Ok. The smell is gone," he remarked as he walked towards the deck of the ship.
"Whichever island this ship takes me to, that's where I'll start my journey..."
Written awfully. Yeah, I know.
What Island Should He Start on? Any suggestions?
