I just want to make a few things clear before we get started. This is an original fanfic but it will be based on the three movies. This is not canon to my last Trolls Fanfic. This is a completely new story. Hope y'all enjoy it!

With all the trolls captured, Chef and the Bergans Guards headed back to the castle to prepare the main dish for Trollstice. Once they had reached the kitchen all of the trolls were dumped into the giant cooking pot. When Peppy looked up, the wave of relief that washed over him was intense because he saw that his daughter Poppy and his son Cooper were still alive. Peppy did not notice that Cooper was still holding a disheartened Poppy; all that mattered to the elder King was that his kids were still alive. He ran embracing them both in a big hug. "Thank goodness you're both all right." At this moment Poppy for the first time since her break down stood up and talked. "Oh, yeah. I'm doing great. I got everybody I love thrown in a pot. Thanks for asking." Everyone was thrown by what she had just said. They had been expecting Poppy to be positive and ready to have a plan to get them out of there once they arrived, but this was completely unexpected. Milton pulled Smidge in close while King Peppy and Cooper gave once another look of growing concern. Satin and Chenille got closer to Guy Diamond and Harper all feeling very small, Fuzzbert ran to hide behind Biggie who just hugged Mr. Dinkles tightly while looking at Poppy curiously confused. "Poppy? Are you being sarcastic?" The large troll asked.

For the first time possibly Poppy truly understood what Branch must feel all of the time. The anger, the self-loathing, the despair, the absolute helplessness, and the anxiety of failure to protect. She just snapped. "Yes!" Poppy shouted. Branch knew what was going through Poppy's head and she knew that it wasn't good. "Poppy." Branch tried to grab Poppy's attention to do what she could to calm Poppy down. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I thought I could save you. All I wanted to do was keep everyone safe, like you did, Dad, but I couldn't." Branch's heart was breaking at the sight. She needed to keep trying to reach her. "Poppy." Branch said, trying again. "I let everyone down." Poppy cried, trying to stifle her tears. "Poppy, it's not your fault." Branch managed to say before Poppy told her the worst thing she ever expected to hear. "Yes, it is. You told me not to throw that party and I did it anyway." Branch just sighed, grabbing Suki from her hair and placing her kids next to Cooper, then headed towards Poppy. "Poppy, you made a mistake."

Poppy got more and more angry. Angry at herself, at the world, at Branch. "You're one to talk. You have been grey for 22 years because you blame yourself for killing your Gramma, you blame yourself for what happened to Viva! You have been telling me for years to take things seriously and that the Bergans were going to find us. You were right. Well I hope you're finally happy now, because you were right, Branch." The grey troll had felt as though she had been stabbed in the heart, because Poppy was right; if only she knew just how much Branch had failed in her past. Branch thought Poppy was done, but she was just getting ready to twist the knife. "The world isn't all cupcakes and rainbows. You finally got to see the day when I realized that." It took Branch a moment to realize what she meant before it hit her like a storm.

Branch was terrified to look at anyone else. Suki. Keith. Gary. Cooper. King Peppy. Anyone. Most of her darkest secrets were now on display for the world to see. Branch knew that she needed to shake this feeling down because this is not about her this is about Poppy. "Poppy." Branch tried to say but her voice caught in her throat. Her vision became blurry as she tried to hold back her tears, but it was getting useless and everything just became blobs. Branch might not be able to see defined shapes but she did know what was happening right in front of her. Poppy giving up hope. Not just giving up hope, she was turning grey, and this triggered everyone to do the same. Poppy was this light in the heart of the village so if she lost hope, so did they. Branch could not believe what she was seeing but today was just a day full of surprises. Speaking of which she could not have guessed what was going to happen next.

"You with the said eyes, don't be discouraged." Suki started to sing. Suki, Gary, and Keith were the only three who did not turn grey. They still believed that they could get out of here, but right now their Aunt Poppy, Uncle Cooper, Mommy, and everyone else needed them. Gary pulled out his guitar and began to strum to the song his sister was singing. "Oh, I realize. It's hard to take courage. In a world full of people." Keith said, popping his head out of his sister's hair once more joining his siblings. Everyone watched as the two trollings walked up to Branch and Poppy who both watched them. Branch with pride and amazement. Poppy with confusion. "You can lose sight of it all. The darkness inside you can make you feel so small." At that moment the hug time bracelets went off and Branch tried to reach out to give Poppy a hug, but was only met with her covering her hug time bracelet up. Branch knew that this feeling of misery was drowning, but she knew what she needed to do. In order to help Poppy she first needed to forgive herself.

"Show me a smile then. Don't be unhappy, can't remember when I last saw you laughing." Branch was singing. She was singing for the first time since her Gramma was taken. She looked at her kids who were just as surprised as the rest of the village. Branch stood up and looked at Poppy's hand picking her up. Poppy still tried to avoid Branch's eyes but it was getting harder and harder for her. "This world makes you crazy and you've taken all you can bear." Branch started to do some silly little dance that not only made her kids giggle but Poppy too. "Just call me up cause I will always be there and I see your true colors shining through. I see your true colors and that's why I love you." The small family of four sang together; Poppy felt inspired to do the same after she saw the Suki was excitedly pointing towards her feet. Poppy looked down and saw that she was turning pink again and began over joyed. "So don't be afraid to let them show. Your true colors. True colors are beautiful." Poppy looked around and saw that everyone else was regaining their colors one by one as she sang.

The now pink troll looked back at Branch and the two continued to sing the song as a duet. "I see your true colors shining through. True colors I see your true colors. That's why I love you. So don't be afraid to let them show." Branch felt happier than she had for years. Finally allowing herself to let go of her grief, never forgetting it, but no longer letting it consume her either. Once she did that the most wonderful thing happened. She did not see Suki, Gary, and Keith jumping up and down at the sight. She did not see Poppy's overjoyed expression. She was so lost in song she just let herself be consumed by the music that she missed so much. "Your true colors, true colors are beautiful like a rainbow. Oh, like a rainbow." Cooper just played his harmonica as all the trolls hugged at the sight. At first Branch had thought it was because they had gotten their colors back, but it wasn't until Poppy brought Branch's hand into her line of sight. Branch was breathless. She had her colors back.

Suki, Gary, and Keith ran into their mother's arms happy to see her in her colors. "Thank you Branch." Branch just turned to Poppy. "No, thank you. For showing me how to be happy." Really she was happy! Finally! NOW! Ok it doesn't matter, all that matters is that she is finally happy again. "I'm glad you're finally happy again." Branch pulled her kids in close. "I think so I mean happiness is inside all of us right? Sometimes, you just need someone to help you find it." Poppy's heart warmed at this. "Yeah!" Suki cheered. Poppy just turned to her niece. "And you two had y'all not turn grey?" Suki just smiled up at her Aunt. "Mommy told us that it's ok to not be ok, that it's ok to be sad, because it is not the end of the world and to not let it consume us. Things will get better, we just have to not lose hope." Suki said proudly. Once again they all were surprised at the grey troll. Branch gave a sheepish smile. "I never wanted them to turn out like me. I never wanted anyone to."

"What's gonna happen now, Aunt Poppy?" Keith asked, still having his head sticking out of his sister's head. "I don't know, but we're not giving up." Before any of them could come up with a plan the pot started to move and shake. They all assumed that this was it the end until they saw the lid opening and the pot being tilted on its side. Once all the trolls exited the pot they saw that they were now outside of the palace doors. Poppy turned around and saw that it was Bridget who was freeing them. "Bridget, what are you doing?" Bridget gave the small troll a sad smile. "I can't let them eat you. You gotta go! Hurry! Get out of here! Now!" Bridget said to the rest of the trolls who started to run towards the old Troll Tree. "No! Bridget, if you go in there without us, you know what they'll do." Bridget crouched down so she was now eye level with Poppy. "It's ok, Poppy. You showed me what it feels like to be happy. I never would have known if it wasn't for you and I love you for that."

All that was left was Branch, Suki, Keith, Cooper, Biggie, Guy Diamond, and Poppy. Branch looked back at Poppy before placing Suki, Gary, and Keith on Cooper's back. He, Biggie, and Guy then headed off towards the others as Branch stayed back. "I love you too. Bridget, please come with us!" Poppy begged. Branch had to look away and she knew the answer. "And make it easier for them to find you? No way! You have to go. Now! Bye Poppy." Bridget said as she pushed Poppy and Branch out of the doors closing them behind her. Branch walked up to Poppy placing her hand on her shoulder. "Poppy, we have to go." Poppy nodded and ran after Branch.

In the dining room all the Bergans in town were gathered chanting trolls as they waited patiently for their little bit of happiness to come. King Gristle looked around to see if he could spot his lovely Lady GlitterSparkles, but he couldn't see her. "Chef, shouldn't we wait for Lady GlitterSparkles?" He asked hopefully. He was met with an answer he wanted to hear, but was made embarrassed and guilty for even asking the question by Chef. How could he ask his entire kingdom to wait for his date when she probably wasn't even going to show because she realized that she was way out of his league. So without any more interruptions they started Trollstice. King Gristle was devastated; he had finally thought he had found someone who would.

Love Him.

The trolls had made their way to the old tunnels and each of them were running as fast as they could. "Go! Come on. Hurry!" Guy Diamond said as he and the Snack Pack spread out throughout the tunnels helping Poppy with the escape. "Come on." Satin said. "Everybody." Chenille continued. "Let's go." They finished together. Back at the start of the entrance at the old Troll Tree Branch and Poppy were helping every troll into the tunnel. "Come on. No troll left behind." Poppy said as she turned to see Branch helping a little trolling down into the tunnel. "Watch your step." Branch looks back at Poppy who just turned to look back at the Bergan Castle. "Poppy?" Branch could see the gears in the pink troll's head turning and she knew that Poppy was coming up with a plan. "Bridget just ruined her life to save ours. It's not right! She deserves to be happy as much as we do. They all do!" Poppy told Branch who just gave her a smile. "Your plan involves a lot of singing, dancing, and hugging doesn't it?" She asked with a smirk. Poppy was put off by Branch's playfulness. "Probably, I understand if you're out." Poppy began to say but was interrupted by the now cobalt blue troll with the sapphire hair. "I never said that. The opposite actually. I'm in." Poppy was shocked by this. "We are too." The two turned to see the rest of the Snack Pack standing right behind them.

The Bergans were beyond ready to eat a troll and they were coming close to starting a riot. Chef was living her best life. She had everything back and with Gristle being more pathetic than his father before him. She was so close to getting everything that she deserved. She will soon be Queen. Chef had just ordered for the scullery maid to go get the pot of trolls and any minute they would be here for her to give out. Chef was beginning to become a little impatient herself wondering what was taking that Idget so long. She was about to send a guard to go fetch her, but the Scullary Maid had finally made it to the dining hall with the pot full of trolls. Chef took the pot from the young girl and started to make a big scene to hype everyone up. "There is only one thing that will ever make you happy and only one Bergan who can provide it. Bon appetit!" Chef had said with a giant grin on her face as she removed the lip off of the pot. She looked down to see the empty pot.

The rage and fear that filled Chef at that moment could not be described. If she does not think of something quick she will be blamed once more and everything she has worked for will be forever lost this time. She turned to the poor scullery maid to point the finger of blame towards her instead of taking the fall herself like she was forced to do twenty years ago. "They're gone! Idget. What did you do? You are them! You greedy, greedy pig. She ruined Trollstice! Guards, lock her up!" Chef had shouted so many accusations at Bridget that she didn't even get the chance to defend herself. Bridget was terrified at the room full of hangry Bergans that were now ganging up on her. She looked at King Gristle hoping that somehow he would look at her and recognize her. Look at her and just know. But he woudln't even look up from his plate with a sad expression on his face.

Gristle was not paying any attention to the mob that was forming in his own castle. His mind was on other things. He was thinking about his now lost love Lady GlitterSparkles who stood him up. Why would anyone love him? Chef grinned to herself when she saw that her plan was working better than ever. The kingdom was behind her. Even with the trolls gone she was not to blame this time. And the cherry on top the king was too heartbroken to actually do anything to stop her from taking the crown.

Bridget was terrified. The king wouldn't even look at her. The kingdom wanted to Lench her and she's on her own. That was until she heard a familiar voice she never thought she would hear again especially so soon. "STOP!" Poppy cried out. The pink princess just from the chandelier with a determined look on her face with Branch and the Snack Pack following her lead right behind her. When Bridget saw them and saw that they brought her roller skate as well. She smiled and braced herself for them to land on her head and placed her foot in her skate. The troll created the rainbow wing once more and King Gristle was taken at the sight before him.

Lady GlisterSparkles was standing right before him and she had always been right in front of him and he was never looking. She was his scullery maid. "Why would you do this?" He asked confusedly as he walked up to her. Poppy and the other trolls walked off of Bridget's head as Poppy explained. "She never thought that you would be interested in someone like her." Gristle hated to admit even to himself, but they were right. Like he realized earlier. She had always been right in front of her but never truly looked at her. "I mean, is it me you're looking for? I don't think so." Bridget said with defeat in her voice. King Gristle's heart broke even more. How could she love him?

Chef was becoming more and more anxious about what was happening right before her eyes and she needed to stop this now. "Arrest her!" She hollard and to her dismay King Gristle quickly stepped between her and Idget. The pink troll spoke up once more. "Wait. Earlier today when you were with Bridget you felt something right?" Chef glanced back at the king who thought about it for a moment. "Yeah. I just thought it was too much pizza." Bridget looked back at Gristle with a smile. "Me too." Chef needed to shut this troll up. She is not going to lose everything again. "What you were feeling was happiness!" This caused chaos to break out amongst the Bergans. "But you can only be happy if you eat a troll. Everyone knows that. Right?" A random Bergan residentsaid as he started to question himself along with many of the other Bergans. "But King Gristle has never eaten a troll in his life!"

When Poppy had said this King Gristle and Bridget looked lovingly into one another's eyes and knew that it was true. "Yet here I am. With my tummy empty and my heart full." Gristle said as he placed Bridget's missing roller skate on Bridget's foot. Chef looked around and saw that her dream, her plan, was just crumbling down right before her. She lost it. Chef stormed past the young Bergan straight towards the trolls who were now on the table. She slammed her fist down causing Branch to shoot straight up into Chef's hand. Branch was never more thankful than at that moment that her three children were with Sky Toronto and King Peppy. "There is only one way to get happiness. My way! With me as your Queen you will have troll every single day!" Chef was losing it as she forced King Gristle back down into his seat, prying his jaw open before throwing Branch into his mouth. Gristle would not swallow. He did everything in his power to not swallow. He tried to open his mouth but Chef kept a solid grasp over his mouth to hold it shut.

Branch was having a panic attack. She tried to reach the entrance of the Bergan mouth she was in. Poppy's heart had stopped when she saw Branch being forced into Gristle's mouth and not allowed to come out. Bridget was pulling on Chef's arm as hard as she could and two of the main guards rushed to help her. Soon enough he pried Chef off of the King, holding her arms behind her back restraining her. Gristle finally managed to open his mouth and coughed up Branch. Who when she hit the table top once more started to frantically scoot herself away from the Bergan trying to calm herself down. Poppy rushed to her sister seeing the tear falling down her face. Poppy pulled Branch into a hug and could feel her screaming into her shoulder.

King Gristle saw this scene and was officially disgusted at what they had truly been doing for decades. "We can not continue to do this. I hereby decree that eating trolls is illegal. I can not be allowed to watch the horrific actions of Trollstice. We will learn to be happy without eating trolls. Like we should have from the start. Chef, I want you out of my sight. Out of my kingdom and if I learn that you come anywhere near the trolls again. I will personally see to it that you are locked up!" Gristle said angrily. Chef was shocked by this. She had always assumed the Gristle was a pathetic little imp. Too spineless to actually run the kingdom. Clearly she was wrong. Chef looked nervously around seeing all the Bergans looking at her with distrust and anger. Chef could not believe this. She was so close to having everything she worked for and now it was all gone. She turned to the trolls and elbowed the guards, forcing them to release her as she grabbed her knife and headed towards Poppy and Branch. "You ruined everything." Chef yelled widely with a knife over her head.

Bridget quickly pulled a wooden spoon out of her pocket and threw it nailing Chef in the head to bring her down. She lost her knife when she fell and was being forced up by the two guards. "Lock her away in the dungeon immediately!" King Gristle said as he pulled Bridget into a protective hug. With that Chef was being escorted away by the guards never to be seen from again. Creek peaked out of her fanny pack jumping when no one was looking. He made his way out of the castle and out of Bergan Town. He had sold everyone out to save himself. The guru troll knew that he could never go back home. Ever. And that he had lost Poppy for good. He had shown his true colors. All he could hope for now was that he would be able to start a new life somewhere. Maybe with someone new.

The entire Pop Troll population fled back to the Troll Tree and with their joy, love, and music it had brought the dead tree back to life. Poppy turned back to Branch. "We did it. We actually did it." Poppy said with disbelief. "How are you feeling, Branch?" Cooper asked, walking up behind his sisters. "Yeah. Nothing that a lot of therapy can't fix or well help." Poppy looked surprised. Branch was making leaps and bounds of progress in this one mission. "Therapy. I'm glad to hear that." Branch gave the two a small smile. "Yeah. I don't want to keep living in the past anymore. I have too much to live for to give hope again." The three then gathered in a group hug before they were interrupted by tiny footsteps. "Mom!" Suki shouted as she ran as fast as she could while holding both of her little brothers' hands. Branch let out the biggest grin she could. "I am so happy to see you three." The mother said, pulling her trollings into a hug.

Walking slowly behind them was King Peppy along with Sky Toronto. "Dad." Cooper and Poppy ran to hug their father. "I'm so glad you all are safe and I am so sorry. For everything." Poppy looked at her father curiously. "Branch told you about Viva and I am so sorry for never telling you about her. Cooper I am so glad that you were unharmed. Branch I am so sorry for not being there for you when you needed me. You didn't have anyone and after losing Viva I let you slip through the cracks. I am so unbelievably sorry." Branch smiled before going up to hug the older man. "I didn't make it easy. Besides Sky Toronto, was there when I needed someone." Sky just gave a quick smile before turning back to his usually stern face. Peppy looked lovingly at the glitter troll knowing full well that ever since the first escape he would not have been able to do what he could have without the other man's help. Branch, Poppy, and Cooper noticed the looks the two men were giving one another and then looked at each other. They figured that was an adventure for another day.

King Peppy soon brought the attention of all the trolls and all the Bergans to the giant mushroom stage at the base of the Troll Tree. Poppy was not sure what was going on as her father dragged her with him. She soon caught on when she saw her father take off his crown and signal her to kneel down. "Really?" She whispered to her dad. "It's time. You're ready." He whispered back as he placed the crown on his daughter's head. "I present to you our new Queen. Queen Poppy." Poppy turned and stood tall in front of everyone with a big smile on her face. "That's Poppy. She's my friend. I know her." Biggie shouted like he had before. Branch could not have been more happy or more proud of this moment. Suki, Keith, and Gary were so excited for their Aunt and Cooper was so proud of his big sister. Peppy stepped back and stood next to Sky Toronto once more letting his daughter have the stage. Suki, Keith, and Gary could not hold their excitement anymore; they ran off towards their Aunt to congratulate her. Branch and Cooper were chasing after them close behind.

Once the six of them were on top of the mushroom Smidge used her hair to lift them up to the sky. "Hey Poppy, I know it's not hug time." Suki didn't even wait for her mother to finish before she hugged her Aunt. Poppy giggles lifting Suki up on her hip. "As Queen my first decree is that hug time. Is all the time." The six of them just pulled into one giant group hug. That was until they felt one extra pair of arms wrapping around them. They pulled apart to see Cloud Guy there holding his hands up waiting for a hi five. The three little trollings gave no one a chance to act before they started to chance Cloud Guy around the mushroom. He was honestly a little scared. He was glad they were ok but was a little scared that they were chasing him and they chased him right off of the mushroom. The three adults could not help but laugh. Maybe things were going to be ok.

Creek ran as fast as he could as far as he could. For what seemed like days he finally reached a new place for him to live. It was called Mount Rageous. It was filled with bright, flashing, neon lights and tall Spaghetti Spinelli like creatures. Creek was nervous walking, making his way through the crowd. He had never been this far from the village before. He was so consumed by all that was around him that he didn't realize that he was about to walk into another troll of all people. "Whoa there. You lost?" This mystery troll asked, holding Creek by the shoulders. "No mate. Um. I was just trying to find a new place to live." Creek said absentmindedly. "Well if it is not too much I am actually looking for a roommate. Not many residents our size you know." The mystery troll said, letting out a light laugh. "Yes. Thank you. My name's Creek." The purple troll said happy to have found someone friendly who didn't know what he had done and was willing to help him. "My name's Floyd. Pleasure to meet you." Floyd said with a light blush gracing his cheeks as he led Creek back to his apartment.

So we have finished the first troll movie and we are going right into the next one. As we end this we will also be just doing a check up so we can just start right into the second movie. I am excited that we are so close to the main love ship in this story. Also Happy Fourth of July! Now I am off to write a few more chapters and talk to you soon.

Now that was the plan and yesterday I had surgery to clean and close up my two open fractures on my fingers. I don't have much to do until they heal up and typing is a bit of a challenge since it's my fingertips that are broken. I am currently typing on my phone with nothing but my thumbs. So I'm gonna try to get chapters done, but slowly. I haven't been writing as much as I hoped I would this Summer but here's my chance, since again I can not really do much.

Well I do hope y'all have enjoyed my last chapter and until the next time. Bye-bye for now my little Bookworms.
