"Okay we got Chet's famous super cheesy scrambled eggs and Blanche's famous bacon that spells your name. Here you go Brittany." Gru says as he gives Agnis her breakfast.
"Here you are Alexis. Oops I mean Rose. Extra bacon. Just the way you like it." Lucy says as she gives Alexis her breakfast.
"Thanks mom. Or should I say Blanche." Alexis says as she chuckles earning an annoyed smile from Lucy.
"Uh-huh. Eat your breakfast smarty." Lucy says as she smiles at Alexis.
"Wait. I can't say my name is Brittany. That would be a lie. We aren't supposed to lie." Agnis says.
"Don't think of it as lying. Think of it as high stakes pretending." Gru says as he pours Edith some juice.
"Well I'm not going to." Agnis says sternly and argues with Gru before eventually reluctantly giving in.
"Okay you guys this is our first big day in Mayflower and I say we make it a great one! Right Chet Jr.?" Lucy asks as she happily spins the baby around.
"We're gonna be late for karate." Edith says.
"And you have to get Alexis and Margo to school." Lucy says as she looks at Gru.
"I can run mom. It's no big deal." Alexis says as she gets up from the table.
"Uh yes big deal. Remember we have to lay low. Listen sweetie I know you love to run but please try to avoid shifting for now. Just until things are safe again. So only at home. Please?" Lucy asks as Alexis sighs.
"Oh alright." Alexis says.
"Come on girls let's get going." Gru says as Alexis leaves with him, Margo and the baby.
*Timeskip*
"Come on Margo I mean Bree. It's not so bad. Anyway I'll see you at home. I'm gonna wait for mom she said she'd be here soon." Alexis says as she is outside with Margo.
"Says you. You had a good day here. Anyway I guess I'll see you later." Margo says as she leaves to get into the car with Gru and heads home.
"Well, well. If it's not the new girl." A voice says revealing to be a brown haired boy.
"What do you want?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"What? Can't I offer to walk a pretty girl home?" The boy asks as he smiles.
"Nope." Alexis says as she tries to walk away only for the boy to follow her.
"Don't be like that. I don't bite." The boy says.
"But I do. Now leave me alone." Alexis says.
"Aww come on. I like a girl who's feisty." The boy says as he snickers.
"She said leave her be." A female voice says coldly.
"Who said that?" The boy asks.
"I did." A girl with red hair says as she comes walking over with her phone.
"What do you want Prescott?" The boy asks as he gives an annoyed look.
"For you to leave that girl alone Dylan." The girl says.
"Why? You don't have any friends. So what's it to you?" Dylan asks.
"Because I don't put up with boys who bully girls. Now leave her be or I can call my dad and you don't want to deal with him." The girl says annoyedly.
"Fine. Whatever." Dylan says as he scoffs and leaves.
"You okay?" The girl asks as she goes over to Alexis.
"Yeah. Thanks. Why did you do that?" Alexis asks curiously.
"I know what it's like to be new and get bullied. I didn't like it so I decided to step in and help out a fellow newbie. Don't expect this all the time though." The girl says coldly.
"No problem. Don't even know you so why would I expect your help all the time? Who are you anyway?" Alexis asks as she gives an slightly annoyed look.
"The name is Poppy Prescott. I'm guessing your my new neighbor's daughter?" The girl asks as Alexis nods shyly.
"Yeah. Rose... Rose Cuttingham." Alexis says shyly.
"Well.. Rose I would not go around Dylan again. He's always been a bit of a bully." Poppy says as she smiles at Alexis slightly.
"Thanks. Definitely noted. Hey um would you maybe wanna walk home tomorrow together?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Why?" Poppy asks.
"Because I'm trying to make friends and according to that boy it sounds like you don't really got anyone yourself." Alexis says nervously.
"That's because I'm a loner. I prefer it that way." Poppy says as she looks at her phone.
"Oh. Okay I guess." Alexis says as Lucy pulls up next to her in her car.
"Rose! Come on sweetie!" Lucy shouts as she honks the horn.
"Your mom is here newbie. You should go." Poppy says as Alexis nods.
"Yeah. Well thanks again." Alexis says.
"Your welcome." Poppy says as Alexis gets in the car with Lucy.
"Was that a new friend you were talking to?" Lucy asks excitedly.
"I don't think so. She's kinda cold." Alexis says as she looks at Lucy.
"Well you'll make some friends. Don't worry." Lucy says reassuringly.
"Yeah. Thanks mom." Alexis says as Lucy drives away as Alexis watches Poppy walk off in the mirror.
