AN:I forgot about this account, but found it again recently and decided to work on this story again.
My mind was in a bit of turmoil when I suddenly realized that Tom wasn't someone to be messed with. I didn't mean to get on his bad side, but I did so by showing Malfoy my past instead of him.
"You're such a horrible liar," Tom muttered. I frowned.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Stop trembling," Tom said, "You have no reason to be afraid of me. I got over you showing Abraxas your past instead of me."
"I'm not afraid of you, Tom," I said, "I'm afraid of who I've become."
"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"I don't think you'll understand," I said, "Because unlike you, I'm stuck somewhere I don't belong." Tom frowned.
"And you don't think I'm not as well?" Tom asked, "I mean look at me, a mudblood in the Slytherin house." I frowned... Should I tell him the truth or should I not?
"You are the heir of Slytherin," I whispered, "Your father was a muggle, but your mother was a witch. So, you're a half blood." Tom's lips curled up in delight, then suddenly he kissed me.
"You're a horrible liar, Jacunda," Tom said as he pulled away.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"It means that I already know the truth," Tom said. Tom used a forbidden curse on me.
'What She's Always Dreamed of'
I woke up in a cold sweat, the other girls in my year were staring at me from their beds.
"You screamed rather loudly, Jacunda," one of the girls I wasn't familiar with said, "Did you have another nightmare? It's been hard sleeping near you because of all the nightmares you have, but this is the first time you've screamed. You've probably woken up everyone in our house with a scream like that."
"I apologize," I said, "I didn't realize that I had been giving you trouble due to my nightmares."
"I know that you made Riddle upset," one of the girls said, "But this is the first time you've said his name during a nightmare. It's usually about this boy named Grover and you begging him not to kill you. Do you want to talk about it?" I sighed, I couldn't think straight as the information I just received was baffling to me. I had just gotten my memories back not to long ago, so why did they say that I usually have nightmares about Grover?
"It'd be much appreciated," the same girl said.
"Also, you should try to make up with Riddle," another girl piped up, "I think he's gotten over whatever you did with Abraxas. He's almost acting like he wants to make up with you, but he seems like he wants you to go to him first."
"Yes, please go now," the first girl said.
"Okay," I said as I got up and dressed. I went to the common room, where a confused Tom was standing there looking anxious. When he heard me enter the room, he looked up.
"I heard you scream," Tom said, "So I came down to see if you wanted to talk." I frowned.
"How did..." I started, but decided not to complete the sentence. Tom stared at me, waiting for me to continue what I was saying. "Aren't you still mad at me?" Tom frowned.
"Usually, I would be," Tom said, "But for some reason, I can't stay mad at you."
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" I asked.
"That I love you?" Tom asked, "Because I think I do... I was just upset that you chose Abraxas over me to show your past."
"I didn't know you would say it so easily," I said, "But I think I love you too." Tom walked over, grabbed my chin, and kissed me. It was different than the kiss in my nightmare, much sweeter. All of a sudden, tears fell down my cheeks, causing Tom to stare at me after the kiss ended.
"What happened?" Tom asked.
"This happened in my nightmare," I said, "Then, you killed me." Tom frowned.
"What an inaccurate nightmare," Tom said, "I would never."
"I'm just confused as to why I screamed so loud," I said, "As I always have nightmares about being killed and this is the first time I've screamed." Tom gave me a pitying look.
"I'll give you better memories so you can forget your past," Tom said.
"But-" I started but was interrupted.
"Let's go find a room," Tom said, "I don't want us to be intruded on." Tom put his arm over my shoulders and we left the Slytherin house. He brought me to a room that was barely even used and turned to face me. Then we snogged for a long time.
"I can't believe that bitch," a voice said from outside the room as the door wasn't closed properly, "She screamed in her sleep last night, everyone in the castle heard it and knew it was her. I don't understand what her problem is. Before Riddle would sleep with any girl, but now he won't slept with anyone because he's worrying about the whore who is going between him and Malfoy."
"She must've lied about being a pureblood too," another voice said, "Because my uncle lives in Italy and has never heard of her or her family."
"No, I believe she's a pureblood," the first voice said, "I think she's just lying about her identity or something. But she should stay away from Riddle and Malfoy."
"Why did I choose such a troublesome girl to fall in love with?" Tom asked.
"I don't know, Tom," I said. Tom shut the door properly and came up to me to snog some more.
