I got up feeling so much better. My dad was happy about that and I thanked him for always being there whenever I needed him. He looked like he was about to cry, so I hugged him. He told me that he would always be there for me. We both cried for a little while before I went to get dressed for the day. I headed to the Youth Center and started watching Jason and Tommy practice for the team ninja finals.
These guys are funny, but they do need to focus and act like a team. Trini and Kimberly soon joined us, and Tommy and Jason had just finished whatever set they were doing.
"Now you two have to learn how to gung-ho." Trini said.
"What?" Tommy and Jason asked together.
"You know, gung-ho, it's Chinese for working together. You have to learn to work together if you hope to win the team ninja finals." Trini replied.
Tommy and Jason shared looks and I just hope that they can put their differences aside so they can win as a team. Tommy and Jason started training again and then went to arguing. I cut them off, but then Bulk and Skull walked in. They started taunting Tommy and Jason and then brought their ninja team in. Bulk and Skulls ninjas went to train while Jason and Tommy joined us.
The ninjas were great, but I still think that Tommy and Jason can beat them. I chose to leave with Trini and Kimberly and told Jason and Tommy that they needed to do better or they were going to get their butts kicked. They shook their heads as Kimberly, Trini, and I left.
"Wow! Those ninjas were really awesome, huh?" Kimberly asked.
"Tommy and Jason are going to have to learn to work together, if they're going to beat them." Trini replied.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Well, Zack is going to practice with them all day." Trini said.
"Good, then they'll learn to work as a team." Kimberly said.
"Absolutely." I agreed.
All three of us were shocked when putties all of a sudden showed up.
"It's time to gung-ho." Kimberly, Trini, and I said together.
We started fighting together, but then we got separated.
"Trini." Kimberly and I called out together as Trini was knocked down.
We ran over to her and then Kimberly contacted Zordon. The others soon joined us and we started fighting together.
"Man, we're getting pounded!" Zack exclaimed.
"Yeah, everybody back to the Command Center to regroup." Jason said before we all headed to the Command Center.
"Zordon, we've never had that much trouble with putties before." Jason said.
"Yeah, what's the deal with those clay hands?" Zack asked.
"They're not ordinary putties, power rangers. They are Rita's new super putties. Behold the viewing globe. They're made from the super putty she mined and are nearly indestructible." Zordon replied.
"Uh-oh! The super putties are attacking a factory." Alpha said.
"Jason and Tommy, I'm sending you on a quest to get the weapons needed to defeat this new menace." Zordon said.
"What about us?" Kimberly asked.
"The rest of you must keep the super putties at bay." Zordon replied.
Kimberly, Trini, Billy, and Zack went to hold off the putties, while Tommy and Jason went on their journey. I stayed at the Command Center, but both Zordon and Alpha complimented me on holding my own with Trini and Kimberly. I thanked them and watched the viewing globe.
"Good, they're nearly there." Zordon said as we watched Tommy and Jason continue on their journey.
"Putting those together was a bad idea." Alpha said.
"No, I had to give Jason and Tommy this test so they would learn the value of working together." Zordon said.
"I just hope the others can hold on." I said.
Jason and Tommy got the weapons, rejoined the others, and all of them defeated the putties. I'm so proud of them and now they can focus on the team ninja finals. All of us went back to the Youth Center and watched as Tommy and Jason won the team ninja finals. Bulk then asked Skull to go get their warriors some water, and when Skull did, he accidentally threw the water at Bulk. We all laughed and I can't wait to see what happens from here.
