Expelled from Beacon Academy after the Vytal Festival, Jaune Arc abandoned his dream of becoming a Huntsman. He settled in Argus briefly before relocating to Atlas for employment. One fateful night, drowned in alcohol, he awoke with memories of a Knight from a place called the Everafter, recalling events that never occurred, unlocking abilities and even awakening his own Semblance.

As the name implied, it was a beacon of hope, a bastion of safety, a symbol that had helped usher in a new age after the Great War that had so nearly doomed them all. Formed by the King of Vale, it represented unity and progress, a brighter future. And they were going to bring it all crashing down.

The Grimm Reign, as the Fall of Beacon spreads through the world. Team RWBY and company are force to travel to defeat the menace of the new world, but the biggest enemy is truth that cannot longer be contained. Doing what's right isn't always easy. Pyrrha found that out the hard way. When Jaune revealed he forged his transcripts, she had no choice but the tell Ozpin. Little did she know of how this one act would affect not only his life, but hers as well.

"Woah what was that?" Jaune immediately noticed the pitch change in his voice. "Oh my god, what happened to my voice. And why does my entire body feel like it's been…" Jaune was running his hands over his body before they stopped over two perfectly rounded mounds.
