As promised, Seth went to Jessica's house to go check on her. He was beyond embarrassed about her discovering the tape. However, she was a reasonable woman and she would understand once he explained.

First and foremost, he was a doctor and then Jessica's friend. Naturally he wanted to make sure she was recovering, as his patient.

He knocked at the kitchen door…of course she wouldn't be there. It was just the way he was raised, knock first then try the handle. Unlocked…she was so trustworthy.

Seth walked in and headed toward the stairs. He knocked on her bedroom door, "Jess? Jess are you awake?"

No answer so he gently tried the door. It was unlocked so he opened it a crack. This was Jessica's bedroom, and he didn't want to seem forward. He peaked in and saw her asleep. She seemed comfortable and Seth did not want to disturb her. She probably had very little sleep the night before, so he just let her catch up. He sighed and left her house.

After she heard the door close, Jessica opened her eyes. She felt guilty pretending to be asleep, but she just didn't want to face Seth at this moment. She needed some time to think…about him and about her reaction.

Jessica was bored. She was still in pain and didn't dare try to get up. She also missed having Seth around…for conversations, meals and the like.

"Why, why would Seth have such a movie? Was he that lonely?" It shook Jessica a bit because she didn't think of Seth like that. Porno movies, in her mind, were for men who seemed to think about sex constantly and that it was something to satisfy a baser need. She remembers her teenage and college years when the guys in school talked about racy novels and magazines and, dare she say, films some of the fathers used to watch at stag parties.

When she settled down with Frank, he admitted to enjoying those films and the pleasures of some young ladies during his early Air Force days. However, once he met Jessica it was different.

"You are so special, Jess. I never felt like this before. What we just experienced was something so beautiful…I'll never feel the same again," he whispered to her on their honeymoon. After that, he turned down requests to attend stag parties or men's gatherings and he never had a secret stash of magazines like some men. Frank was honestly with his feelings and how he felt about sex. He and Jessica had no issues talking about needs, wants, and desires, to be sure. Both fulfilled each other and it was enjoyable and sometimes a little daring.

"It's hard to believe Seth is, is, into that kind of stuff. I always thought of him as different or rather being indifferent to sexual images. I mean all those years with his wife, unless he was tempted on occasion and didn't tell Ruth? Back when he was working at the hospital in Portland?"

She ran the scenarios in her mind. It couldn't be easy to work long hours, lose lives and save lives. Sometimes emotions get mixed up and people need an outlet.

"No that can't be. Seth would never cheat on Ruth, no matter how tempted he was. Sex wasn't something you did without some emotional connection." She and Seth were raised in a different time and she knew they both held the same beliefs when it came to sex.

Jessica ran these thoughts over and over and then she took a different approach. It helped being a writer and looking at scenarios through every angle.

"Jessica, look at this situation from Seth's point of view. He's been a widower for quite some time. Although you've only known him for a few years, he's never dated anyone in Cabot Cove. He's not a monk. He probably still has, urges, but that doesn't make him…dare she think…a pervert."

This made Jessica look at herself and Seth in a different light. The way they were raised, the lives they lived and the lives they had now.

"I need to talk to Seth," she decided. Now how the talk would go would be anyone's guess.
