Abigail watched the sights of Hope Valley surrounding her, from the steps into her office, just for a moment before turning towards her office. As she walked in the door, she received a big surprise and noticed a woman sitting on a chair as Jack was facing towards her. She pushed the door closed ,and felt her heartbeat racing as she noticed the face of the woman. She watched with shock as Elizabeth leant on to Jack as she carefully stood up from her chair to turn around.

The shock was apparent in her face. Her brown eyes took in the sights. She felt her heart beating, and her eyes started watering. She walked across the room before carefully taking Elizabeth in her arms.

"Oh, Elizabeth….I missed you so much."

"Me too, Abigail…"

The break in her voice enunciated the sadness she felt. Jack watched the bittersweet moment occurring, a small smile stretching across his face. Abigail held Elizabeth tightly in her arms, as though Elizabeth was her own daughter who just came back for a visit.

Elizabeth gently pulled away but not before saying

"Abigail, I'm so-"

"It's alright, Elizabeth, I understand. This entire town understands. "

Elizabeth gave a small smile back to Abigail before moving to stand next to Jack. They both looked at each other and down at their hands which now came to intertwine with one another. Abigail smiled at the couple.

"Unfortunately, I do have some work to do. Why don't you two catch up, and I'll meet you both in the Cafe in the evening?"

Abigail asked, breaking them from the small trance they were in.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world."

Elizabeth said, before pulling Jack out the door. Abigail's smile faltered for a moment, noticing her limp, but returned to her face when she noticed the look that was exchanged between Jack and Elizabeth as Jack helped her out the door into the busy street of Hope Valley.

In Elizabeth's Rowhouse

She lay back against the back of the settee, as Jack placed his hand firmly on her knee, as she wrapped her arms around his at the crook of his elbow. She lay her head on his shoulder as Jack placed a kiss on her forehead.

She slowly brought her arm down, as to intertwine her fingers with his.

"Have I ever told you how beautiful your eyes are?"

"And this haircut you got…."

Jack said giving her a dimpled a smile

"You look absolutely beautiful"

Elizabeth responded with a sly smile of her own, her chin placed on his shoulder, as to look up at him. She let out a small giggle, her blue eyes shining up with him, giving him a grin that was only reserved for him.

"How did you get this row house back?"

Jack just shrugged and said in his hushed voice

"We didn't actually put it up for sale"

"What?"

She responded back with a hushed whisper. Her eyes filled with a million questions.

Jack just shrugged and was about to respond when there was a knock on the door. Jack stood up to open it when the door opened, and Rosemary rushed into the door

"Oh, Elizabeth, it is good to see you. I just heard that you came back, and I had to see you. I'm so sorry about what had happened, but you should've just told Jack or- "

Elizabeth was about to say something as Rosemary took a pause in the middle of her sentence but then she felt herself being pushed as Rosemary wrapped her arms around Elizabeth.

"Oh, I'm just so glad you are here! The entire town missed your presence".

Rosemary stepped back, her eyes shimmering like it always does with her smile

"Thank you Rose-"

Immediately her smile turned into a slight frown, as Rosemary's eyes gazed across Elizabeth's slim body

"You look like you've lost weight, why don't I-"

"Rosemary! Thank you, but the entire town and Elizabeth has gone through a lot. We both just need to relax for a bit."

"But we're grateful that you stopped by."

Elizabeth added, exchanging an exasperated glance with Jack before turning back towards Rosemary. Rosemary gave them a small smile before dramatically turning towards the door, the door shutting, symbolizing her exit.

Elizabeth and Jack turned back to each other, letting out a sigh of relief, their smiles gleaming across their face. As soon as they recognised the look in each other's eyes, Jack stepped one step closer into Elizabeth's private space. Space she would share anytime with him.

"I'm glad you're back."

Jack says in a whisper, his mouth inches away from hers. Elizabeth gave him a small smile

"I love-"

She said straight into his mouth, before it met hers swallowing a gasp Elizabeth let out from the back of her throat. His arms went to her upper arms holding her tight against him. Her palms on his chest gently pulled his blue shirt to her, holding him even tight against her, as their lips encompassed each other. Soon their lips broke apart for a breath before Elizabeth pushed herself tighter to him, their lips pushed against each other, meeting again in a passionate embrace.

Back In Hamilton

Charles sat in his living room reading his newspaper when suddenly his eyes flashed across one of the pages

Ms Elizabeth Thatcher, daughter of William Thatcher, has returned back to a town in the west, Hope valley, a few months after the scandal occurred. We have received from a source that she has no plans to return back, and hope to start teaching once she gets her teaching credits back.

The Thatchers have known to have another teacher in the past who lived in the west, but their family has never been through this kind of scandal…

Charles stopped reading after the first paragraph. His fingers clenched on to the edges of the newspaper, anger bubbling up within him. The edges of the newspaper crinkling in his fingers, as a motion in plan was starting to set in his mind.

He thought he would be gentle with her, and Elizabeth Thatcher would willingly follow him. But he's going to have to work his ways with her.

His eyes widened, as a smirk grew across his face, as a plan started to grow in his mind.

He would start by showing off 'his charms ' to her, but if that wouldn't work, he would need to ensure their marriage was to be set in stone. That's the only way father would allow me to take over his company, by marrying a woman. Not just any woman. A wealthy woman. Thatcher. Elizabeth should be the easiest to get through.

Back in Hope Valley

Elizabeth walked into the Jail, hoping to see Jack. Closing the door gently behind her, she put her basket on the table. She searched, thinking that maybe Jack was finishing his rounds. Noticing Rip, she bent down and started stroking his head, when Jack walked from inside his room to outside. Without a shirt.

Elizabeth immediately felt her cheeks blossom. His muscles were always rippling under his shirt, but without it….She felt her heart race as she stood up, meeting his eyes.

"Oh…uh- Elizabeth"

Jack stammered, as he turned around eyes seeking for a shirt and sighed in relief as he found one of his gray shirts and pulled over his head pulling it down.

Elizabeth on the other hand, couldn't stop from glancing at his hard muscles on his stomach, and gasped as she realized after his shirt was over his head, his nipples puckered up from under his shirt.

"I'm sorry,"

She said, but not removing her eyes from his chest.

She forced her eyes to move to his and they both stared. Intently. Not moving from their spot. The electricity in the space between them, crackling. Elizabeth took a step forward towards him, until they were breathing the same air and leaned in, pulling his lips to hers. She pushed her hands to his hair, gently rolling it against his finger tips before bringing her hands down to his cheeks, as Jack's tongue brushed against her upper lip, causing her to pull his body closer to her. Jack gently brushed his lips against hers, his hands moving from her upper arms to her waist, tugging on her upper lips as she tugged at the cloth against his chest.

They broke apart, breath's ragged as Elizabeth took a step back, her cheeks flushed before walking to Jack's desk holding up the basket she brought and turned around, finding Jack right in front of her. She pulled up the basket in between their bodies as Jack placed his hands on Elizabeth's on the basket.

"Lunch?"

She said, finding her voice, becoming a few pitches higher than expected. But Jack just shyly smiled at her before sitting in the chair opposite her. Elizabeth pressed her hands against her skirt, and took a deep breath in, composing herself before assisting Jack with taking out the food and plates from the box.
