Chapter 5

Luffy had changed into his wolf and charged at the two fighting, forcing himself between them. His action didn't make them stop, and the two continued to fight. His primitive omega instincts told him to wait and watch to see who would win, but these were his friends, and he couldn't let them keep fighting. Luffy forced himself between them again, snapping his jaws at both of them and snarling. He finally managed to force them apart, or rather, the two males stopped on their own. They likely didn't want to accidentally hurt him.

"Stop it!" Luffy told them. His legs were shaking and his body was hot from his heat. He looked at Zoro and said, "I want Traffy,"

Zoro, panting a little with his tongue out, said "He's a stranger in our pack,"

"But he's who I want," Luffy said.

Law's wolf chest puffed out as he stood the victor in this fight. Luffy gave his command, and Zoro, so loyal, had to obey. Which Zoro did. Zoro lowered his head to Luffy and then walked off, still in his wolf form. Luffy returned to his human form and so did Law. Luffy was flushed prettily with heat and he reached his hand out and took Law's. Law squeezed his hand, and Luffy guided him into the cabin. The moment the door was closed, Law pressed Luffy up against it and kissed him.

Luffy peeked out from the pillow. "Huh? We're not?"

"Now, we're bonded," Law said, stroking the curve of Luffy's lower back. "That makes you my omega,"

Luffy moved his arms to wrap around Law's chest and hug him. "And you're my alpha! But wait, are your wounds okay?"

Law chuckled slightly. "They're fine, don't worry. I'm not wounded where it counts," he winked at Luffy, and that made the omega laugh. Luffy returned to laying on top of him, facing the window.

"It's raining," Luffy said.

"I see that,"

Luffy snuggled his face into Law's neck and said, "I want to stay just like this!"

"We'll have to move eventually," Law said.

"Yeah, but for now, I like what we're doing!"

Law wrapped his arms around Luffy, holding him close. The other did the same, and they lay together in silence, listening to the rain on the roof and watching through the window.

Zoro sat on the dock of the pond in his wolf form, barely noticing the light drizzle of rain. He was thinking about Law and Luffy. While he didn't like it, he had to accept his leader's decision. Luffy was too innocent and naive for such things like mating and mounting. Any alpha can take advantage of that, and he was sure Law did just that. How could he not? Zoro always thought it was going to be him to mate with Luffy, and it would be done not out of love, but a mutual friendship. He heard noise behind him and looked over his shoulder to see Sanji, in wolf form, coming over to him.

"Why are you out in the rain?" Sanji asked. "Trying to grow more moss on your head?"

"Funny." Zoro responded flatly.

Sanji came up and sat beside him. "I guess you're thinking about Luffy and Trafalgar,"

"I am."

"Luffy made a decision," Sanji said. "And it was his to make, you know,"

Zoro nodded. "I do. It's his decision, and I'll respect it. I just don't want Luffy losing his title as Omega Prime. I doubt Law will accept being second to an omega," he growled a little.

"You don't know that," Sanji said.

"If it were me, I would have no issue being Luffy's second in that way as well,"

"You deserve that too, but it's just not with Luffy,"

Zoro stiffened when he felt Sanji rest his wolf head on his back. Sanji nuzzled him with his head, and Zoro suddenly realized what Sanji was doing.

"Luffy has Law now," Zoro said.

"You're still needed,"

"I know…"

"You know," he nipped Zoro's wolf ear, "There's another omega in this pack that is looking for an alpha,"

Zoro looked at him with surprise. He had never thought about Sanji that way, and here he is admitting feelings. No wait, that was a lie. He did think about Sanji, but only during his ruts. Sanji has feelings for him, and Zoro wags his tail.

"I accept that I will always be second to Luffy," Sanji said.

"No," Zoro countered. "What Luffy and I have is a different kind of bond. He is my leader, and I would go to the ends of the earth for him. But it's nothing…romantic."

"Oh? So I have a chance at romantic feelings with you?"

"It's…possible," Zoro turned away from the dock and changed into his human form. Sanji did the same.

"You know, Mosshead, as much as we bicker, I've always liked you. Even Luffy saw it. I never made a move because I always thought you would be for Luffy."

"You should have made a move sooner," Zoro said. "We've lost a lot of time,"

Sanji grinned. "Hey, we still have all the time in the world," he took Zoro's hand. "Luffy still needs you. He needs us, but we can be together." He flushed a bit and Zoro saw it.

"That's good to know, Shitty Cook," Zoro said. "Let's get out of the rain. I'm getting hungry, and I know for a fact Luffy will be starving,"

"Hm, that's true. After a heat cycle, he always eats twice as much," Sanji said with a chuckle and brought Zoro's hand up to his lips, planting a kiss on the knuckles. "I'll cook a meal especially for you,"

Zoro gave him a little smile. "I would like that."

"You don't need to feel lonely," Sanji said, squeezing Zoro's hand. "Let's head back to the village, as a couple."

"Sounds good."
