Author's Note: Hi guys! If you're still here, thank you so much for your patience! Again, I was on vacation and I had an awesome time! But now it's time to get back to it! Enjoy friends!
"That was the BEST WEEK EVER!" Envy beamed.
"I know!" Joy cheered. "Vacations are always the best! But now we gotta get back to the questions."
"Here we go again," Disgust sighed.
"Why did our vacation have to end already?" Sadness cried. "Now we're really gonna miss Bree and Grace."
"Don't worry, Sadness!" Joy reassured. "We're gonna see them again very soon!"
"I-I hope so," Anxiety worried. "What if we never see them again after all this?! You never know! They probably got sick of us after being with us for so many days-" The orange emotion was suddenly picked up by Embarrassment and placed in her special chair.
"Thank you, Embarrassment," Joy smiled. "Ok! Let's get to it! How about you read the first question, Anger?"
"My pleasure," Anger smirked as he got the first card of the day. "BEANPOLE! What kind of elemental powers would you want to have?"
"Something that's safe!" Fear answered. "Definitely not fire or ice...hmm...probably nature! I could stop deadly hurricanes and other earthly disasters!"
"You'd be too afraid to even face a hurricane..." Ennui pointed out.
"I definitely would be," Anxiety added.
"Oh whatever!" Fear scoffed. "Envy, do you have any hidden talents?"
"Ooh, I wish!" Envy googly-eyed. "It's not very hidden, but I can jump pretty high!" Envy hopped onto the console. She struggled for a moment but managed to get on it. "Heh...still working on that though." She hopped down. "Disgust, who's the handsomest emotion?"
"Lance," Disgust sighed romantically.
"She said emotion," Anger said impatiently.
"I will never call anyone else handsome but Lance," Disgust smiled, lost in thought. Then, her smile slowly faded into, well, disgust. "But...I guess to answer the question, I'll say..." She was looking over Anger, Fear, and Embarrassment. "Body wise, Anger."
"Good choice," Anger smirked.
"I still don't like your face," Disgust commented. "Joy, puppies or kittens?"
"Ohhh, that's always a tough question!" Joy said. "Riley loves feeding stray kittens but at the same time, puppies are so cute!" Joy thought for a moment. "I have to go with puppies!"
"I wish we had a pet puppy," Envy sighed.
"We will one day!" Joy smiled. "Ennui, would you rather watch Holes or Toy Story?"
"Imagine having to dig holes every day," Ennui scoffed. "I could never. Toy Story."
"I know right? So dirty," Disgust added.
"Anxiety," Ennui read. "What's your oddest habit?"
"I have a lot of them," Anxiety said, twiddling her hands. "Like that!" She stopped her hands. "I always twist my hands around when I'm thinking. Not just overthinking, it could just be normal thoughts. I could be doing it in my sleep.
"You're doing it again..." Sadness pointed out.
Anxiety stopped herself, sighed, and turned on her chair again. "Card please," she said, relaxing herself.
Embarrassment handed her the next card.
"Sadness, if you had to trade lives with any one of us, who would it be?" Anxiety asked.
"Hmm..." Sadness thought. "I don't know if I would choose you, Joy. You're my best friend, but all this moving and bouncing you do every day sounds exhausting..."
"No problem!" Joy laughed.
"I guess I would say Embarrassment," Sadness said. "I wish I could reach stuff so easily..."
Embarrassment blushed and smiled.
"Speaking of," Sadness said. "Embarrassment, have you ever written a fanfic before? If so, what was it about?"
Embarrassment's eyes widened and he hid himself in his hoodie. He quickly shook his head. "I'm not a good writer," he said.
"Don't say that!" Joy said. "You could always give it a try!"
Embarrassment shrugged. "Maybe," he said. "Anger, you have a dare."
"Seriously?!" Anger growled. "My first question is a dare. Great."
"You have to be nice to Fear for 24 hours," Embarrassment read.
He was about to have an outburst but calmed himself. "I think I can do it," the brick emotion said. "I can take a break from punching someone for a day."
"Really?" Fear beamed. "You're not upset over this?"
"I will be if you keep talking," Anger threatened. Fear yelped and scooted away. He got the next card and growled as he read it. "This is to everyone but me and Sadness. What are your thoughts on Sadness and I dating?"
"Again with this?" Sadness sighed. "First Embarrassment, now Anger..."
"That would be cute!" Joy smiled. "I can imagine the two watching a sad movie and Anger allowing Sadness to cry on top of him-"
"Oh, would you quit it?!" Anger shouted. "I'm not dating anybody!"
"This question isn't for you, so your answer isn't valid," Ennui smirked.
"Why you-" Anger stormed to the bored emotion but Joy quickly stopped him.
"If they want to date, cool," Disgust shrugged. "As long as it's Sadness and not me."
"Dating is scary!" Fear shivered.
"I know! So much could go wrong!" Anxiety added.
"Get back on the chair, Anxiety," Joy ordered.
Anxiety sighed and started her chair again.
"Joy," Fear read. "Would you rather live in Stampy's Lovely World or Feathers Adventures?"
"Good question!" Joy said. "But I gotta go with Stampy! Riley loves Stampy!"
"If only we had a world like Stampy's," Envy beamed.
"Disgust, if you were to give the other emotions a makeover, who would you pick first?"
Envy stared at the green emotion, hoping she'll pick her.
Disgust sighed. "Fine," she said. "I'll pick you."
"YAY!" Envy cheered. "Once I become an expert in makeup like you, we could have a girls night and do each others makeup!"
Disgust looked down for a moment, then grinned. "That actually might sound cool."
Envy googly-eyed. "Oh my gosh, we're totally gonna be best friends!"
"Looks like you're warming up to her," Ennui smirked at Disgust.
"I guess I'm getting used to it," Disgust sighed. "Ooh, this is another dare."
"For who?" Anxiety asked.
"For you."
"Me?!" Anxiety panicked. "No no nooo! Not another one!"
"Chill out!" Anger face-palmed. "You've done this before!"
Anxiety took deep breaths. "Ok...what is it?"
"You have to sing the national anthem with Ennui and Envy," Disgust read.
"I'm sorry, what now?" Ennui sat up.
"Cool!" Envy said. "I've always wanting to perform in front of an audience!"
"Nope, not me," Ennui said, slowly trying to walk away.
"Come on, Wee Wee!" Joy approached the bored emotion and dragged her next to Anxiety and Envy.
"Oh, I can't sing with people watching!" Anxiety said nervously. "What if I mess it all up? Or sound terrible? What national anthem are we singing anyway?!?! There's multiple!"
"Um...I'm assuming our own?" Ennui answered as if Anxiety was dumb. "Since it's the only one we know?"
"Let's do it!" Envy said. "Just sing along with us, Anxiety!"
"O-Ok then..." Anxiety breathed and prepared herself. "3...2...1...now."
The three emotions sang the entire U.S. national anthem. Ennui was a bit behind the other two, which didn't surprise anyone, and Envy was way louder. But they managed to sing the whole thing.
"Woo hoo!" Joy cheered once they finished. "Good job guys!"
"Thank you! Thank you!" Envy bowed.
Anger leaned towards Fear and whispered, "Thank goodness that's over."
Fear was shocked at Anger talking to him all friendly, but remembered it was a part of his dare. He quietly just laughed in response.
"That was the worst experience of my life," Ennui said, slumping back on her couch.
"Let's not talk about this ever," Anxiety said. "Ok, Sadness!" Anxiety looked through a box and pulled out a teddy bear. "A fan sent you a teddy bear. What will you name it?"
"That's sweet..." Sadness smiled. "Whoever did that, thank you..." She thought of a name for a moment. "Maybe Dolores..."
"Dolores is a nice name!" Joy said.
"It means lady of sorrows in Spanish..." Sadness stated at the bear.
"Not surprising," Joy giggled.
"Fear," Sadness read. "How did you manage to have a parachute on you when you guys were falling?"
"Like I said, the real question is why didn't any of you guys have one?!" Fear said. "You guys better thank me! We would've been dead if I didn't have it!"
"Yeah, you better!" Anger added.
"You know, I actually really like this dare of yours," Fear pointed out to Anger. "Ennui, do you have a crush on any of the emotions?"
"Pfft, I don't do that lovey stuff," Ennui answered. "Embarrassment, what character from the Simpson's look like you?"
"I think Ralph Wiggum looks like me," Embarrassment said.
"Isn't Ralph smaller?" Sadness questioned.
"I can't think of anyone else," Embarrassment blushed.
"Don't worry! That's a good choice!" Joy smiled.
"For all of us," Embarrassment said. "What's our favorite Marvel movie?"
"Endgame for sure!" Anger said. "It was awesome to see everyone fight Thanos!"
"But it was so sad when-" Sadness cried but Joy interrupted.
"No spoilers!" Joy said. "Not everyone has seen the movie!"
"I guess..." Sadness sighed. "I'll say the ending was very sad..."
"I like the Captain America movies," Disgust said. "Isn't Chris Evans the cutest?!"
"I love the new Black Widow movie!" Envy said. "I've always wanted to look as good as Scarlett Johansson."
"Deadpool is hilarious!" Joy laughed.
"Spider-Man actually makes all the boring action scenes interesting," Ennui said.
"Although heroes are cool, they do dangerous stuff!" Fear shivered.
"I guess I'll say Iron Man, since I could just hide in his big suit!" Anxiety said.
"I like the Hulk," Embarrassment said.
"Good choices!" Joy smiled. All of a sudden, the Mind World turned dark.
"Looks like Riley went to sleep," Sadness said.
"Which she deserves," Joy said. "She had a great vacation and deserves to get some rest! As do we!"
"Finally, we get proper beauty rest," Disgust said. She glanced over at Envy. "How about girls night tomorrow night?"
Envy gasped with happiness as her eyes beamed. "YES!" she squealed.
"Cool," Disgust smiled.
"Goodnight beanpole!" Anger called out to the purple emotion.
"Good night!" Fear responded. "If only his dare was permanent..."
