"Hello?"

The moment his brother's voice graced his ears, Izuku felt the pressure accumulated through his day of training melt away.

"Hey, it's Izu."

"…I saw the caller ID."

"Oh…"

Boisterous laughter reverberated from the speaker as Izuku rubbed his temples. Slightly irate as he was,

He missed his brother.

Exhaling deeply, Izuku got down to brass tacks, asking him the aforementioned question he said he would when speaking to Miruko.

"Anyways, really fast, is there a Cursed Technique that increases reaction time? Or any physical enhancement ones?"

The line went silent as Aoi thought over the question, the low singing coming from his TV providing a sort of ambiance.

After a minute or two, he finally spoke.

"Not that I know of."

"Shit!"

"But, there was this one girl, Miwa, who used Simple Domain alongside a binding vow to automatically swing at things within her range but your third oldest brother, Yuji, managed to jump over it so I don't know if it'll bring you any use."

It was like he'd reached an epiphany.

Thanking his brother before ending the call, Izuku rushed toward his notebook and hastily scribbled out his next idea.

"I'll make sure to put this to use, big brother!"

"Hello?"

The yellow-clad elderly man's frustration seemed to increase once his former protege picked up the phone call.

"TOSHINORI!"

As soon as the yell parted his lips, the former Pro Hero heard a scream from the other side of the call, said scream taking away a small bit of vexation from the elderly man.

Only a small bit.

Once the scream fizzled out, All Might finally responded to his former teacher, fear ever present in his voice.

"Y-Yes Gran Torino sir?"

"Why isn't the little green kid training with me right now? It's the first day and I've been waiting for him all day in this hot ass costume!"

The line went silent as an audible poof occurred, alongside some shuffling.

Once it was over, Toshinori held with him the Internship Acceptance Form of Izuku Midoriya.

Finally, after retrieving the aforementioned form, Toshinori spoke.

"Young Midoriya has decided to intern with The Rabbit Hero: Miruko rather than with you. "

"And why's that? Did ya tell him I was your teacher?"

"Y-Yes sir. When I did, however, he told me it would be more detrimental than beneficial as he and I fight in entirely different ways. He said that should he train with you then there's a chance he might end up fighting similarly to me, or at the very least, in a way that doesn't benefit his quirk."

It was now Sorahiko's turn to silently think as he absorbed the information presented to him by his former student.

Eventually, the elderly man spoke, a small grin on his face.

"So the kid already knows it's better to not emulate you or your strength? I was right, he would be the perfect candidate!"

A chuckle void of mirth came from Toshinori as he rubbed his temples.

"I know. That's why I was sort of banking on him interning with you. It'd make asking him a whole lot easier."

Sorahiko gave his own laugh, this one filled with amusement toward his protege.

"But you fucked it up before even meeting the kid properly. Very All Might of you, Toshinori."

The aforementioned blonde sputtered across the line before hastily defending himself.

"L-Look, the kid wasn't in the right headspace; I couldn't, in good conscience, recommend him a profession in which we risk our lives, no matter how strong he was or wasn't."

Sorahiko's brow raised as he stared at his phone, as though it was his former student himself, before speaking.

"That's surprisingly mature of you Toshinori. However, that doesn't change the fact that we potentially lost hands down the best candidate for One For All so far. You need to fix this."

"How?"

"By being honest with the kid and asking him to be your successor, or at the very least to carry on the flames of One For All."

Once again the line went silent as Toshinori gave his former teacher's words some thought.

Finally, the blonde spoke, his voice filled with determination.

"I will."

"Are ya ready, squirt?"

The two stood in the training room, both clad in their Hero Costumes.

Faces stamped with a determined grin.

Izuku cast his jacket off, rolling his shoulders before cracking his knuckles and slipping into his stance.

"As I'll ever be."

"That's the spirit!"

The two rushed each other, wild grins on their face as they launched their first attacks.

Izuku jumped into the air before leaning forward, somersaulting, and sending his right heel flying down toward Miruko.

The Rabbit Hero threw her own left leg forward, kicking straight up and meeting Izuku's Nigawa Kick with her own Instep Upward Kick.

Pushing off the snow-topped woman's leg, Izuku dropped to the ground, crouching low and attempting to sweep Miruko's legs.

The woman hopped slightly in response before leaning back and thrusting her two airborne legs out toward Izuku in an attempt to drop-kick him.

The Jujutsushi stepped out to his right, avoiding the attack completely before slamming his elbow into the Pro Hero's stomach.

The Rabbit hero fell to the ground before rolling to her stomach, rising to her knees, and jumping away, narrowly avoiding the Axe Kick headed for her skull.

Once a fair bit of distance had been put between them, Miruko took the chance to speak, her tone filled with shock.

"You managed to hit me…YOU ACTUALLY MANAGED TO HIT ME!"

A feral grin sprung to life on the woman's face as she cracked her neck and crouched down low, as though ready to pounce.

As terrifying as was to see Miruko so excited to beat him.

He couldn't help but admit that the pose did some things to him.

"Maybe I should ask Ochako to pose like that someti-"

His thought was cut off as he instinctually checked the right low sidekick that threatened to shatter his kneecap.

Faster than the boy could perceive at his current output, Miruko rechambered her kick, releasing it toward his head.

Izuku just barely managed to pull his head back in time, using the momentum of the lean to fall backward into a back-handspring kick which nicked the woman in the chin, drawing a drop of blood.

Once Izuku had put some distance between them, he allowed his Six Eyes to study the state of his opponent.

And he honestly wished he hadn't.

Miruko stood, her hand grazing her cut chin as a furious blush overtook her mocha-colored skin.

Time slowed as the two remained unmoving, Izuku fighting back embarrassment as his mentor began rubbing her legs, saliva leaking from her slightly parted mouth.

"I think this might kill me long before a villain does. Although, this does make me miss Ochako even more."

A light smile kissed his face as his mind replaced the woman before him with his brunette girlfriend.

He didn't get to savor the image for long.

The snow-topped woman appeared in front of him, her arm mid-swing as she shot a right overhand toward his skull.

His body reacted last second, grabbing the length of her arm before turning about face, propping her on his hip, and throwing her to the ground with a beautiful O Goshi.

While retaining wrist control with his two hands, Izuku raised his left leg to the sky, before sending it down toward his mentor's skull.

Again, faster than his Six Eyes could perceive, the woman seemingly vanished before him, and then,

Pain.

A debilitating, gut-wrenching, pain coursed through his spine causing him to crumple to the ground.

Izuku was concerned, not because of the searing pain working its way through his body,

But because the conditions had been broken.

From his spot on the ground, Izuku turned his head to lock eyes with Miruko, his nervous Six Eyes meeting her desire-filled reds.

The woman removed her heel from his spine before leaning down and grabbing him by his collar, tossing him away.

The Jujutsushi righted himself in mid-air before landing gingerly on his toes.

As soon as he landed he clasped his hands together, a swirl of blue cursed energy enveloping his body.

"Simple Domain!"

The technique was cast just in time as his body reflexively ducked under the flying double knee barreling toward his skull.

His body turned about face instantly, slapping away the left straight heading toward his face before slipping the right hook.

He reflexively low-blocked her left uppercut with his right arm before wrapping his arms around her right overhand and leaning backward, taking them both to the ground.

Using his control of her arm, Izuku yanked her head down, allowing him to snake his legs around her throat, completing the triangle.

However.

For the third time, Miruko disappeared from his vision, causing the boy to feverently scramble to his feet.

Before the boy could even increase the output of his Six Eyes, despite the possible consequences to his vision, a strong right hook made itself known to his jaw, sending him to the ground.

Using the momentum of his fall to roll back to his feet, Izuku locked eyes with a Miruko marred with concupiscence.

The woman bounded toward him before jumping in the air and twisting her body 360 degrees to gain momentum.

Her body began falling toward her student and once it did, it was as if there were three of her.

The first visage was brown, sweeping his legs which disabled his Simple Domain.

The second visage was purple which Side Kicked him in the chest, knocking the wind out of him.

The final visage, with the most painful strike of them all, sent a brutal spinning back kick which sent unbearable pain throughout his body.

The effect was immediate as the attack caused his brain to rattle against his skull and send him to the ground.

As the boy fell, in his fleeting moments of consciousness, he heard only one word.

"Nakyoung"

"I didn't hit ya too hard, did I?"

Izuku shook his head, gingerly pressing the frozen carrots she'd gotten from the kitchen against his throbbing skull.

The Rabbit Hero sighed in relief before plopping herself in the seat next to him and leaning on his shoulder, a content look kissing her face.

The aforementioned Sorcerer blushed before wincing, every minor move sending pain throughout his body.

Upon seeing his current state of pain, Miruko laughed before speaking once more, her smile never leaving.

"You did way better than yesterday. Be honest, are you taking PEDs?"

The question shocked Izuku, causing the boy to nearly jump out of his skin, the sudden movement sending excruciating pain pulsating throughout his body.

The snow-topped woman crackled at his pain, a lone tear threatening to fall from her eye which she quickly wiped away.

The Jujutsushi grumbled slightly before answering his mentor's question, his own small smile gracing his features.

"No. I said I wanted to get stronger but I didn't plan on using Tren to get there."

The response elicited another laugh from his mentor as the woman stretched, leaning most of her compact body against the Sorcerer.

Letting her long eyelashes flutter before closing, Miruko spoke once more, her tone filled with amusement.

"Coulda fooled me, it's like you were a different person today! I had to half-try today, half!"

As condescending as the comment seemed, Izuku knew it was a genuine compliment which inspired yet another smile to bloom on his face.

Mimicking her actions, Izuku allowed his body to relax and his eyes to close as a light chuckle reverberated from the room.

"It's all thanks to you actually. What you said about using a cursed technique to boost my instincts got me thinking and so I called my brother last night and he told me about Simple Domains."

Miruko's ears raised as her left eye opened, granting her sight of her student.

"Simple Domains? Is that another Cursed Technique?"

Izuku let out another small chuckle.

It was refreshing to see her so inquisitive.

"Not really no. It's a form of basic Cursed Energy Manipulation, they're universal, while Cursed Techniques are engrained into a user meaning no one aside from them can use the aforementioned technique. Make sense?"

The rabbit woman nodded against Izuku's shoulder, signaling that she understood the concept at its most basic level.

But that didn't mean she didn't still have questions.

"So what exactly is Simple Domain?"

Izuku pressed his right finger to his chin, thinking of the best way to describe the skill, before finally speaking.

"Well the vanilla technique creates a small barrier around the caster which nullifies the effects of a Domain Expansion, that's a whole different can of worms for later, but mine is different via the use of Binding Vows."

"And what're those?"

"They're basically contracts a Jujutsu user can make with themselves or another person. In my case, I made one with myself in which so long as I'm untouched during the duration of my Simple Domain, my body automatically reacts to anything within two feet or so of it. If I get hit the technique ends and I have to recast it."

By the end of his explanation, Miruko's eyes were as wide as dinner plates as she stated at the boy, her expression one of shock.

"So you basically invented a technique because I made a half-joke about it?"

Izuku shook his head before speaking once more.

"Not necessarily. It's functionally similar to the New Shadow Style but mine doesn't use a sword, is constantly active throughout a battle should the conditions not be broken, and the range is smaller to accommodate for my close combat style."

The Rabbit Hero flicked her student in the temple, snapping his eyes open as a grin nestled upon her face.

"That sounds like a new version to me, even if it was inspired by something else."

Izuku gained his own smile which his tri-colored framed, causing Miruko's breath to stall in her throat.

"I guess you're right. Thank you, Miruko."

The snow-topped woman beamed.

"No problemo! So, what're you gonna name it? Anything that cool needs a name."

Izuku offered her a look of contemplation snapping his fingers, a light going off within his eyes.

"How about, Rabbit Style Simple Domain? To be fair, I never would've even thought about it if you hadn't made the joke so you deserve some of the credit."

If Miruko had a smile prior, then what she wore now could be considered a life-threatening grin as she eagerly swept her student up in a crushing hug.

"You're the best student ever!"

"I made dinner!"

The Jujutsushi stood for a few moments, awaiting a response from his mentor.

None came.

Raising his knuckles, the boy rolled his knuckles against the door in an attempt to gain a response.

Still nothing.

He repeated his pattern of knocking and waiting a few times yet the result was the same.

"She's probably doing something important, I'll just set the food down so she can eat once she's done."

Nodding to himself, Izuku reached down toward the bronze doorknob and twisted it.

"I'm coming in!"

Once the words parted his lips, he pushed the door open.

And he really wished he hadn't.

Before him stood his mentor, clad in carrot-themed pajamas.

Her left pant leg was rolled up to the middle of her shin while her pajama top was unbuttoned, exposing her toned mocha-colored skin, chest bound by a navy sports bra.

Izuku was captivated as he watched his mentor run through the motions of her attack, completely forgetting about the dinner he'd originally come to give her.

First, she dipped low, swinging out her left leg.

She then rose, rechambered her left leg while pivoting toward the center with her right, and sent a teep down the center line.

Finally, she pivoted 180 degrees while rechambering the leg again, snapping out a lethal-looking back kick.

Upon seeing the full set of motions, memories of their spar came rushing back, causing the boy to breathe out one word.

"Nakyoung."

The snow-topped Hero slowly lowered her leg before turning to face her student, a smile gracing her features.

"Yup! Believe it or not that time I used it in the fight was the first time I managed to pull it off, so thanks for that!"

She punctuated her gratitude with a ruffle of his head which caused the boy to blush before she retracted it.

Looking down, his Six Eyes caught sight of the plate in his hand and the memories of why he'd come up in the first place began to assault his mind.

Raising the plate of food, the Jujutsushi presented it to his mentor, a twinge of anxiousness dancing in his eyes.

"Oh! I made you dinner. I didn't know if you ate meat or not so it's vegetarian. I hope that's ok."

The Rabbit Hero examined the dish, a curious expression kissing her face as her right ear twitched.

"Curry chicken? I thought you said it was vegetarian."

A smile split the teen's face as he pointed an excited finger at his curry.

"It's not chicken per se but Chicken Of The Woods. It's a mushroom that grows on the base of trees and, given its namesake, it tastes exactly like chicken."

Miruko offered an intrigued 'Woooow' as she bent over to sniff the curry.

Grabbing the spoon, the snow-topped woman used it to scoop a portion of the curry before sliding it into her mouth.

Izuku stood perfectly still, his breath stalling as he anxiously awaited her opinion on his cooking.

He didn't have to wait long.

The snow-topped woman snatched the plate from him before devouring the meal with unforeseen gusto.

By the time she was finished, the plate was completely clean, mainly because the woman had licked the plate and spoon till there was not a speck of orange in sight.

Stars danced in the woman's eyes as she vibrated excitedly, an eager grin stamping her face.

"Where'd you learn how to make this? I've never had curry like this before!"

The Jujutsushi released the breath he'd been holding as his expression marred with anxiousness was replaced with one of joy.

"That's because this isn't Japanese curry. My therapist is Trinidadian-American so he learned to make it from his grandpa before passing it to me."

The bunny girl nodded before flopping back on her bed, a content sigh on her face as she patted the space beside her.

Izuku followed the silent instruction, gingerly setting himself beside his mentor as his own smile continued to permeate his features.

From her position on her back, Miruko spoke, her fierce red eyes closed as she did so.

"Your therapist seems like a pretty cool dude, that must be the reason why you're so cool."

Light pink settled itself upon the Sorcerer's face as he offered his response.

"Yeah, he is. He even helped me discover one of my strongest Cursed Techniques, Limitless."

Miruko hmmed in acknowledgment before slightly shifting the subject.

"Speaking of Cursed Techniques, how do those work? I skimmed your file but I'm pretty sure you can explain better."

Izuku nodded before slapping himself on the forehead.

"Her eyes are closed Izuku…"

Shaking the thought from his head, Izuku cleared his throat before answering her question.

"Cursed Techniques are engraved in your very body so it's rare if not impossible for there to be two wielders of the same technique unless they're in a clan and the technique is hereditary, but even then it's rare for there to be two wielders of the technique at the same time even for a technique such as Ten Shadows."

Fierce red eyes sprung to life as the snow-topped woman shot an inquisitive look at her protege before speaking.

"Ten Shadows?"

Izuku nodded in confirmation before explaining the technique.

"It's a technique that lets me summon up to ten different Shikigami, only after I've subjugated them though. It also lets me hide in shadows and store things in my own shadow, although I have to bear the weight of whatever I'm storing."

To further aid his explanation, the Sorcerer stood and retrieved Playful Cloud from his shadow, running through a few forms he'd learned from his brother.

Once he'd finished, he turned to face his mentor.

And nearly dropped Playful Cloud as a result.

Miruko sat fully up on the bed, her ruby-red eyes twinkling in amazement as she eagerly clapped, her right foot tapping against the floor as she did so.

A few seconds after he'd finished, her bout of silent astonishment vanished as she finally spoke, the sparkle in her eyes still ever-present.

"That's so cool! I've always wanted to use a staff ever since I watched the cave fight in Enter The Dragon!"

Upon hearing the revelation, a warm smile nestled itself upon Izuku's face before a thought hit him.

"I can teach you! I mean, I'm not that good but it's better than nothing."

The sparkle behind the snow-topped woman's hair intensified into full-fledged stars as she shot up to her feet, an aggressive nod in tow.

"Please, PLEASE, do!"

"Shower then suit up green, we're goin on a field trip!"

From his position on the ground, Izuku raised a weak thumbs-up, his body wracked with too much pain to muster up any other response.

The two had been sparring since Miruko had kicked his door open and woke him up all in an attempt to sharpen his base instincts in tandem with refining his Simple Domain.

It'd been going…iffy for lack of a better term.

"I feel myself getting faster, but every time I start to adjust to her speed she just gets faster. Improving without winning is way more frustrating than I thought."

His mind replayed the spar over once more, each and every mistake being meticulously picked apart as he theorized on how he could improve.

"Besides my reaction time, there's something else bothering me. Miruko fights similarly to me yet differently. The kicks are almost the same except hers are a bit more fluid. She's also way better up close and personal than I am. Her attacks also take up less prep time than mine so they're harder to defend against and react to. That also means she doesn't have to rely on other martial arts to supplement these weaknesses like I do which means she won't pull out anything I already have prior knowledge on. For someone who fights so similarly to me, we couldn't be more different; I couldn't even begin trying to pull off that Nakyoung or anything remotely similar to it. What's worse is that I'm basing the way I fight off of her."

A hard flick pulled him from his thoughts.

Miruko stood over him, a wide grin stamped on her face as she leaned over the Sorcerer.

Raising her finger as though she were a professor giving a lecture, Miruko spoke, her fierce red eyes locked with his inquisitive sky blues.

"The reason we fight so similar yet so differently is simple! During your quest to perfectly emulate me, you branched off in a different direction, resulting in a style that's similar but entirely different at the same time."

A look of understanding washed over the Jujutsushi's face as he continued to listen to his mentor.

"The style you use is similar to something called Renewal Taekwondo. While it takes longer to set up your kicks and takes a lot more out of you, it's stronger than my Ssamsu Taekkyeon by a country mile. I think you should read up on it some more and continue down that path rather than trying to emulate me any further, it's already doing you a lot of good."

Izuku nodded, conviction permeating his features as he struggled to his feet.

He'd do what his mentor recommended and continue down his own path; his first chance to do so coming up in just a few hours.

Once he finally went on his first patrol.

"So where exactly are we going?"

Izuku ran the towel through his wet tri-colored locks as his mentor ran through a few movements with Playful Cloud, an excited grin painting.

The snow-topped woman turned on her heel before locking her ruby-red eyes on her proteges sky blue ones.

Her excited smile still stamped on her face, Miruko spoke, the enthusiasm she held oozing from her tone as she did so.

"We're going to Hosu!"

Once the location registered in his mind, Izuku's mind flashed to Tenya and his internship with Manual.

Tilting his head slightly, Izuku paused the drying of his jaw-length tri-colored locks as he spoke.

"That's where Manual operates out of, right? If I'm not mistaken, it's a relatively low crime area so there'd be a low chance of encountering criminals so I can gain experience."

His mentor retained her excited grin throughout his entire line of reasoning as though she was waiting for the chance to slam him with her rebuttal.

And that's exactly what she did.

"You'd normally be right on the nose about that, green. But today, Hosu has something special that we simply can't miss!"

Her response instilled even more confusion in the boy as he slung his compression shirt over his torso.

"And what's that?"

Miruko clapped her hands together, Playful Cloud still between them, before speaking, unable to contain the pure elation she felt.

"The Hero Killer."

"Are ya ready green?"

The Sorcerer nodded, a twinkle of nervousness behind his eyes as he pulled at the hem of his modified Jujutsu Tech uniform.

The two calmly awaited the train to Hosu, the woman's revelation replaying endlessly in the Jujutsushi's mind.

"We're actually perusing Stain? I don't doubt Miruko's strength but there's still the chance she messes up trying to protect me. Am I strong enough to support her if she needs me to? And what about civilians? If we end up fighting him then I'll need to rescue any civilians/heroes present while staying out of Miruko's way."

The loud ding indicating the arrival of the train snapped the boy from his thoughts while simultaneously instilling another, much stronger bout of nervousness within him.

His mentor eagerly hurried him inside the train, excitement written along her face as she eagerly searched for their seats.

Once she found them she slipped into the inside seat and procured a mixed bag of carrots and sweet potatoes her protege had packed her for the trip before happily munching on them.

They remained in silence for a number of minutes, the only noise filling the air belonging to Miruko, the other passengers, and the train itself.

Before long, Izuku grew tired of the monotonous silence and ran his fingers through his tri-colored locks.

His mentor noticed the movement and set down her snack before turning toward her protege.

Tapping the boy to gain his attention, the snow-topped Hero produced a couple of hair ties from her utility belt, her excited grin still stamped on her face.

"Wanna fight with matching hair?"

The question caught Izuku off guard causing a brief lapse in brain function before he finally snapped out of the spell and answered the question.

"S-Sure!"

Miruko hummed before motioning for her protege to turn his back to her.

The Jujutsushi complied, relaxing into the feeling of lithe fingers combing through his tri-colored locks.

Miruko gingerly collected strands of his jaw-length locks before bringing them together in a low bun. Once she finished, she tugged a few strands free, allowing them to frame the boy's jaw.

After the snow-topped woman finished, she turned in her seat before pointing a finger toward her own locks and handing her protege the other hair tie.

"Now do me."

The Jujutsushi nodded before collecting the hair tie and gathering his mentor's snow-white locks.

With as much precision as he could muster, Izuku went about creating two long braids from the woman's snow-white locks before gathering them alongside a significant amount of her hair and wrapping them together in yet another low bun.

Once he'd finished, the Sorcerer gingerly retracted his hand and admired his handy work before tapping his mentor to let her know he'd finished.

The rabbit woman ran mocha-colored fingers along the bun, her relaxed expression being replaced with an approving smile before returning to its excited grin.

"You're pretty good at braiding, did your mom teach you?"

Izuku blushed at the question as the memory of why exactly he'd picked up the skill assaulted his mind.

"TAKADA LIKES BRAIDS! BRAID MY HAIR, LITTLE BROTHER!"

Izuku turned toward his older brother, his face marred with confusion.

"Wha?"

The response seemed to fuel Aoi with even more energy as he spoke once more.

"TAKADA SAID SHE LIKES BRAIDS BACK IN HER ON-THE-RADAR INTERVIEW AND NOW SHE'S DOING A SHOW IN MUSUTAFU! I HAVE TO WEAR BRAIDS WHEN I GO! BRAID MY HAIR!"

The Grade 1 Sorcerer shrugged.

"Sure."

Shaking the memory from his mind, Izuku answered his mentor, a light chuckle escaping his lips as he did so.

"Not exactly, but she did help me refine what I learned from WikiHow."

Miruko nodded, offering her own laugh at the answer before allowing the two to slip back into a now comfortable silence.

One that was swiftly interrupted.

"EVERYONE HAND OVER EVERYTHING YOU HAVE, WE'RE TAKING YOUR SHIT AND WE'RE TAKING THIS TRAIN!"

The deceleration drew the attention of the Pro Hero aboard the train as well as her protege, both staring at the group of villains with expressions of amusement.

Before them stood a group of about 6 small-time villains, some wielding blunt or bladed weapons while the rest remained seemingly unarmed.

The Sorcerer turned back toward his mentor, expecting the Pro to be already standing and ready to fight.

He should have known better.

Rather than getting ready to stop the train robbery currently in progress, Miruko remained in her seat,

Happily munching on the seemingly endless bag of carrots and sweet potatoes he'd packed.

The Jujutsushi nearly fell from his seat as confusion marred his face.

"Aren't you gonna, you know, stop the train hijacking?"

Miruko shook her head.

"Nope! We're out here for you to get field experience so go ahead, stop the hijacking."

Was she serious?

"I'm serious."

After giving her instructions, the woman returned to her bag, patiently waiting for her protege to handle the hijackers.

Turning toward the villains, Izuku exited his seat and made his way toward them before clearing his throat and speaking.

"U-Uh…stop?"

The villains turned toward the Sorcerer, a mix of anger and confusion marring their faces as they looked the boy up and down.

A man who Izuku presumed to be the leader stepped forward, his pitch-black hair pulled back into a slicked bun, before speaking.

"And what're you gonna do if we don't?"

The Jujutsushi turned back toward his mentor who offered a lazy wave before speaking.

"If they don't stop then beat them up and dump em off at the next station."

The boy nodded before returning his Six Eyes to the villains before him.

"What she said."

The leader kissed his teeth before growling and lashing out with a sloppy right hook, one that Izuku outside blocked with his left arm before pivoting on his left foot and responding with a sidekick that knocked the air out of the man's chest.

Leaning back, the Sorcerer narrowly avoided a purple beam from one of the hijackers before snatching a throwing knife heading toward his temple out of the air.

Turning toward his left, Izuku locked eyes with the knife wielder before melting into the shadows and materializing behind him.

As soon as he did so, the Sorcerer threw a low right leg round kick to the back of the villain's knees, sending the man to them before switching stances and throwing a left switch-spinning hook that landed flush against the villain's temple, knocking him out cold.

Izuku then retrieved Playful Cloud and used it to pole vault over the beam villains' attack.

While in the air, the Sorcerer leaned forward, somersaulting mid-flight and slamming his right heel into the beam villain's skull, knocking him unconscious.

"That's three, green. Three more to go!"

Izuku nodded before turning toward the remaining three members, looks of frustration and desperation painted on their faces.

"Can you guys just stop and get off on the next stop? Getting beat up by a high schooler isn't the best look for villainy."

The comment seemed to infuriate the rest of the villains further as the largest of the group, a woman with a boar mutation, rushed Izuku, throwing a potentially lethal right overhand.

"I'm feeling like that's a definite no."

Stepping to the left, Izuku broke his staff into three sections before wrapping it around the woman's neck and driving her skull first into a refreshment cart.

Surprisingly the attack didn't render the woman unconscious and so Izuku did the first thing that came to mind.

He slammed her head back into the cart.

He repeated the action a number of times until the woman fell limp before moving toward the next villain.

His next adversary rose his hands, the aforementioned limbs sharpening into blades which he wildly swung at the boy before him.

Izuku swatted the blades away with a fully connected Playful Cloud before re-separating it and wrapping it around the villain's head, much like he'd done to the previous villain.

Except this time, Izuku used the newfound leverage to bring the villain's head down face-first into a brutal knee that broke the man's nose.

In response, the blade villain swung both appendages at the Sorcerer's neck in an attempt to decapitate him.

The aforementioned Sorcerer ducked low, avoiding the blades, before swinging out his right leg and sweeping the villain's legs out from under him.

Izuku then shot up quickly, raising the same right leg above his face before sending it slamming into the blade villain's face mid-fall, knocking the man unconscious.

The Jujutsushi turned toward the final villain, a woman with long pink hair alongside a plethora of tattoos, before offering a final chance of surrender.

"You're the only one left. If you want, you can just lie down and pretend to wake up when they do. I swear I won't say anything if you do."

The final villain briefly contemplated the offer before shaking her head and raising her fists.

Izuku responded with a long, slightly irate sigh as he fell into his stance before dashing toward the villain.

Wrong move.

With a wave of her hand, the villain summoned a massive gust of air which sent an unbuckled Izuku flying out the side of the still-moving train.

Luckily, the Jujutsushi managed to summon Nue at the last moment, the large bird easily matching the speed of the train he was flung from.

A sigh of relief slipped last the boy's lips as he motioned the bird to fly him to the roof of the train and keep him stable.

He had a plan.

Making his way toward the window opposite the one he'd been flung from, Izuku peeked into the train and almost laughed at what he saw.

The final villain was maniacally cackling as she collected the belongings of the fearful passengers, ignorant of the Jujutsushi staring from the window.

Waving a hand, Izuku caught the attention of an amused Miruko before bringing his index finger to his lips, instructing her to keep his presence a secret and remain silent.

Upon reviving his mentor's nod, Izuku pulled his torso away from the window, took a few steps back,

Before jumping off the train.

Nue immediately caught the boy before righting her course,

And throwing her summoner through the window.

Before the air villain could even react, two booted feet collided with her skull as Izuku drop-kicked the woman, knocking her out cold.

"And that's six. Great job green! Extra style points for drop-kicking the last one through a window."

The compliment resulted in a sheepish expression to kiss the boy's face as he attempted to return to his seat. Keyword,

Attempted.

As soon as his hand graced the armrest of his seat a fucking Nomu crashed through the roof of the train, almost crushing the Jujutsushi.

Unlike the hijackers, Miruko shot up immediately, barreling toward the Nomu as she barked instructions at Izuku.

"DEKU, EVACUATE CIVILIANS! I'LL HANDLE THE NOMU!"

The Jujutsushi nodded before flashing the hand seal for Orochi, the massive snake curling around its owner before opening its mouth.

Picking up the would-be hijackers, the Sorcerer tossed them in the mouth of the snake, said mouth as wide as the train carriage.

Turning toward the cowering civilians, the Hero in training offered a warm smile before calmly motioning them toward the snake.

"Please remain calm, Miruko and I are here to help. Please step inside Orochi as she'll transport you outside the train and away from the Nomu."

His words seemed to calm down the civilians who began hastily shuffling inside the massive snake which then barrelled out of the train cart toward safety.

Turning his Six Eyes toward Miruko, Izuku watched as the snow-topped Hero switched stances to southpaw before slamming a switch-spinning hook kick into the creature's head, sending it to the ground stunned.

The Pro took the chance to address her protege, her firey ruby reds never leaving the creature before her.

"Right now we're in the middle of a crisis. As such, I, The Rabbit Hero: Miruko, give you, my current charge and Hero in training, The Honored Hero: Deku, clearance to act in your best interest and use your quirk to protect civilians to the best of your ability, even if that means fighting villains."

The Jujutsushi offered a nod before sliding back as the Nomu Miruko struck shot a hulking fist toward him.

Kicking up the fallen Playful Cloud, Izuku used it to strike the beast in the knee before striking it in the brain, causing it to reel back in pain.

Miruko took the chance to pivot on her left foot and chamber her right leg before shooting a sidekick into the Nomu's chest, sending the Nomu flying out of the train.

Crouching down, Miruko prepared to jump after the creature however a hand from her protege stopped her.

Turning toward him, the question building in her throat was killed as Izuku placed his three-section staff in her hands.

"If there's ever a chance to get some practice in now's the time."

The comment instilled a grin upon the woman's face as she eagerly accepted the weapon, giving it a few warm-up swings before jumping after the Nomu.

Izuku turned his Six Eyes upon the city of Hosu, the all-seeing eyes noticing a plethora of injured civilians as a myriad of Nomu wreaked havoc upon the city.

Inhaling deeply, Izuku jumped from the train, reinforcing his legs with Cursed Energy to land safely before walking into the chaotic city of Hosu.

"Time to be a hero, Deku."

"Can you move?"

The civilian shook her head no before pointing to her leg.

Turning his Six Eyes toward the aforementioned limb, the boy winced upon seeing the woman's right knee horribly out of place.

Inhaling sharply, the Jujutsu Sorcerer grabbed the woman's leg just below the knee with his left before placing his right atop her kneecap.

"I'm going to relocate your knee. After that, I'll have one of my dogs carry you to safety. Alright?"

The brown-haired woman nodded slowly before clenching her teeth, anxiously awaiting the sharp pain she knew would be coming soon.

Upon receiving the nod, Izuku quickly pulled up with his left while pushing down with his right, forcing the woman's knee back into place.

A strained squeak of pain rang out as the woman fought back tears, thankful that it was over.

True to his word, Izuku summoned the white half of Divine Dogs before instructing it to carry the now slightly less injured woman to safety.

The pattern continued, Izuku finding and helping civilians whenever he could before sending them off with one of his summons to safety.

By the time he was finished, the Temporary Crisis Hero had evacuated everyone in the immediate vicinity, allowing unrestrained combat of the Nomu for Heroes.

"Speaking of combat, Miruko is probably tied up with a bunch of Nomu so it's best I continue with evacuation. Kind of a shame she won't be able to fight,"

"STAIN!"

The realization hit the Jujutsushi like a truck as he remembered why exactly the two were in Hosu, to begin with.

"Miruko said there was a good chance Stain would attack here again and right now most of, if not all, the Pros are tied up with Nomu meaning he can kill with no real resistance. Furthermore, Tenya is in Hosu meaning there's a chance he's gunning for the Hero Killer to avenge his older brother. My top priority right now is to find him and Stain's next victim and get them to safety!"

Flashing the hand seal for Nue, the Jujutsushi flew atop a building before pouring a bit of Cursed Energy into his Six Eyes, allowing him an unobstructed view of the entirety of Hosu.

It was this view that allowed Izuku to instantly spot Tenya, Stain, and a Pro the Sorcerer vaguely remembered.

Jumping from the building, Izuku began his mad dash toward the alleyway the three were fighting in, slight desperation marring his face.

"Just stall for a bit, Tenya! A Jujutsu Sorcerer is on the way!"

"One must not act out of vengeance, for it is the furthest thing from the title of Hero."

The Hero Killer stood tall over Tenya, his katana smudged with freshly licked blood as he reared it back, ready to deliver the final blow.

Until a rubber bullet slammed into the weapon knocking it away.

The Hero Killer jumped backward, narrowly avoiding a second bullet aiming for his kneecap, the aforementioned projectile sure to cripple him should it have landed.

Stain turned toward the entrance of the alleyway, blood-red eyes locking with sky blues as the newly arrived Grade 1 Sorcerer leveled his pistol at the Hero Killer.

Breaking the silence, Izuku addressed Tenya, his Six Eyes refusing to leave Stain.

"Can you move, Tenya?"

"I can't. Whatever his quirk is has rendered me paralyzed."

Izuku's brow narrowed as his Six Eyes allowed him sight of the paralyzed form of Native, without having to take them off the villain before him.

"Alright. If you regain movement, then grab Native and run, I'll hold him off until then, try and drive him away from you two."

Tenya gained a look of exasperation as he spoke to his classmate, his eyes narrowed toward the Hero Killer before shifting to his friend.

"Dont! This is my fight! Get out with Native and just leave me he-"

Izuku cut him off.

"Tenya."

The Sorcerer's voice was devoid of its usual emotion as his eyes and gun remained locked on the villain before him.

The lack of inflection alongside the use of his first name sent a chill down the Hero hopeful's spine, said chill intensifying as the temp Pro continued to speak.

"You came here for vengeance and it was that thirst for revenge that led to not just your life being put in danger, but the life of another person as well. This isn't just unbecoming of a Hero, but of you Tenya. You know better so you need to do better. Is that understood?"

Any retort he had been formulating died in his throat as his eyes shifted toward the concrete.

"Yes."

Silence befell the alleyway once more as the two combatants studied each other, desperate to learn all they could.

Eventually, Stain broke that silence, a wide, approving grin on his face.

"Unlike the knight over there, your first priority was making sure the two were alive alongside finding a way out with as little confrontation as possible. That alone makes you much more of a Hero than your friend over there."

Stain reached for one of his knives before lunging toward the Sorcerer.

"Now let's see if you can back it up with some strength!"

The moment Izuku pulled the trigger, a dagger was lodged into the barrel, causing the gun to implode and rendering it ineffective.

Izuku leaned backward, falling into a back handspring which put distance between him and his adversary while also narrowly avoiding a slash poised at his throat.

The Sorcerer immediately clasped his hands together, whisps of Cursed Energy enveloping the boy as he did so.

"Simple Domain!"

The Cursed Energy died down as Izuku took a stance, his body bladed as his left arm hovered above his leg, his right near his jaw.

"An enhancement quirk? Let's hope it's enough to keep you alive!"

The Hero Killer rushed in once more, swinging the dagger in his right hand in a wide arc.

Izuku ducked the slash, responding with a left uppercut that Stain narrowly avoided by jumping back.

The Sorcerer kept up the pressure, running toward the Hero Killer before jumping up.

Rather than kicking, however, Izuku flashed the hand seal for Orochi, summoning the massive snake that barreled toward the villain.

The aforementioned villain grinned before retrieving the shot Katana beside him and raising it, ready to cut the snake down.

"THAT WON'T WORK!"

Izuku narrowed his eyes while he fell, Six Eyes studying the villain beneath him.

"I'm aware."

Once the words left his mouth, Orochi dispelled, leaving Stain in the middle of a flurry of slashes.

Unable to guard.

Izuku rotated 360 degrees to gain momentum before seemingly separating into 3 separate before Stain.

The first visage was blue and shot a right-leg hook kick toward the villain's right temple.

The second visage was pink, executing a left-leg hook kick toward the villain's left temple.

The final visage was orange, the aforementioned ghost of the Sorcerer launching a right leg round kick to the back of Stain's head.

All three connected at the same time, sending debilitating pain pulsating throughout the man's skull causing him to reel back in pain.

"3rd Stance Hwechook."

Izuku breathed a sigh of relief, his Six Eyes still locked on the villain before him.

And what he saw, stole the brief relief he felt almost instantly.

Stain, after getting kicked full force in the head three times,

Was laughing.

After cackling for a minute or so, Stain finally spoke, his voice as maniacal as his laugh.

"YOU'RE QUITE THE KID! I'D LET YOU LEAVE IF ONLY YOU WEREN'T PROTECTING TWO FAKE HEROES!"

The villain offered no time to respond as he seemingly appeared before Izuku, his katana mid-slash as it threatened to bisect the boy before him. And, had he not been using Simple Domain,

It would've.

The Sorcerer leaped back, narrowly avoiding the slash from the Hero Killer.

However, Stain wasn't one to let up.

The villain appeared in front of Izuku, shooting off a left-leg round kick that connected, sending Izuku flying through the building beside them.

The Sorcerer rolled through the many rooms of the building, eventually stopping in one of the many bathrooms the building withheld.

Rising shakily to his feet, Izuku attempted to catch his breath, before realizing something critical.

Simple Domain had been breached.

Before he could clasp his hands together, Stain was in front of him, his blade falling down Izuku's centerline.

The Sorcerer raised his hands, managing to catch the blade between his palms and avoid being cut in half.

Using his new grip, Izuku jumped up and drop-kicked Stain, sending the man flying backward into the wall beside the exit door while also pulling the blade from his hands.

"I can either cast Simple Domain and risk him retrieving his blade, or toss the blade out the bathroom and risk having to fight without it. If I was able to use Ten Shadows or Creation then I could use Simple Domain since I'd have Cursed Techniques to back me up, but he destroyed my gun and none of my combat-applicable summons are small enough to fight in this bathroom, which means my best bet..,"

Furrowing his brow, Izuku reared his arm back and tossed the katana out of the bathroom before turning to face a recovering Stain.

He had faith in his mentors' training.

The villain stood to his feet and rolled his shoulder, an eager grin splitting his face before speaking.

"You threw my blade out instead of using your quirk to boost your reaction. That's either really smart or really dumb."

Izuku fell into his stance, his face marred with vexation before speaking.

"I guess we'll find out."

Stain chuckled.

"I guess so."

The smoke from the Nomu's rampage reached the bathroom, triggering the sprinkler system and spraying the two combatants with water, both seemingly unfazed.

The sound of falling water filled the bathroom as the two bore into each others' souls, both unmoving.

They remained this way for what seemed like hours before finally,

Someone moved.

Izuku took a deep step forward before reaching down, grabbing the drain grate on the floor, and throwing it toward the villain.

The aforementioned villain covered his head with his arm, briefly obscuring his sight as he shielded his skull from the grate.

Izuku used the opening to jump up and launch a right leg round kick at the Hero killer's leg, ribs, and head.

The villain managed to block the final kick before responding with a right straight to the boy's sternum, sending him reeling back.

Stain followed up, throwing a right straight that Izuku slapped to the side with his right and a left elbow which the Sorcerer ducked.

The aforementioned Sorcerer threw a left hook which Stain outside blocked with his right before launching a left overhand that Izuku managed to slip, resulting in the villain hitting the wall behind him.

Retracting his left, Stain extended his right arm and swung, knocking Izuku into a stall and flat on his back.

The Hero Killer was on the Jujutsushi like white on rice, raising his right leg up high and delivering an axe kick.

Izuku grabbed onto the toilet, using it as leverage to push himself off the ground, backflipping and avoiding the kick.

He landed crouched sideways on the wall, as though he was sticking to it and used the newfound leverage to push off and throw a right straight toward Stain.

The Hero Killer easily slipped the punch before using his left hand to grab hold of Izuku's face and throw him into the mirrors behind him.

The impact knocked the wind out of the boy, causing him to briefly lose consciousness before a right straight heading toward his skull forced him awake.

Still against the wall, Izuku rolled to the left before falling to the ground, landing in a back handspring which put distance between the two.

Distance that Stain was intent on closing.

The Hero Killer threw a low left sidekick at Izuku's right knee, to which the boy responded by raising his leg, causing the attack to pass harmlessly.

Carrying the momentum of his already raised right leg, Izuku lashed out with a right leg round toward the Hero Killer's skull.

The aforementioned villain ducked the kick, before popping back up and shooting out with a left hook.

Izuku used his left hand to slap away the punch, responding with his own right hook which knocked away with his right, sending the attack downward.

Pushing off with his right, Stain threw a right knee which Izuku stepped back to avoid.

Using Izuku's own trick against him, Stain carried the momentum of the knee and chambered his left leg, shooting a left leg round which Izuku narrowly blocked with his right arm.

Upon landing, Stain continued his offensive, throwing a right jab which Izuku blocked with his right elbow.

The Hero Killer hastily followed with a left hook, which Izuku ducked under, before following with a right jab once more, pushing Izuku back.

Stain pressed forward, throwing a right hook that Izuku blocked with his left arm.

The Jujutsushi pushed away the man's arm before immediately slapping away the left hook that followed and slipping the right straight that came after that.

Tired of playing defense, Izuku threw his own right hook that Stain blocked with his left arm, pushing it away just as the Sorcerer had done moments prior.

Retaking his position on offense, The Hero Killer shot a right hook which Izuku leaned back to slip.

Wrong move.

Opening his hand, Stain grabbed the collar of Izuku's jacket, using the grip to yank the boy toward him.

Thinking quickly, the Sorcerer leaned down and bit the older man's hand,

Drawing blood.

Capitalizing on his new advantage, Izuku grabbed Stain's scarf and used it to pull the man into an awaiting headbutt, sending the man reeling in pain.

An irate Stain quickly responded with a right hook which Izuku jumped over, clearing the man and his punch entirely.

Twisting mid-air, Izuku gained momentum before slamming a cursed energy-fueled tornado kick into Stain's face.

Causing blood to fly from the man's mouth.

A small smile weaseled its way onto the boy's face as one thought repeated in his mind.

"I can win!"

Until he found a dagger embedded in his liver.

Izuku felt his body grow weak as he began to fall on his injured right side, his usually pristine vision blurring.

"I fucked up! I was so focused on fighting hand-to-hand and removing his katana from the fight that I forgot about his knives!"

As he fell toward the cold, wet, ground one thought permeated the Sorcerer's mind.

"I'm going to lose!"

As the boy fell, Stain extended his right hand out toward the boy's collar in an attempt to grab him.

"FUCK THAT!"

Izuku slammed his left leg onto the ground, re-centering himself which stopped him from falling.

The Hero Killer immediately jumped back, his eyes furrowing as he stared at his adversary.

The Jujutsushi exhaled deeply, calm blue energy enveloping him as he fell into his stance once more.

"I can't lose here! There are lives on the line, people who are relying on me so that they can live! On my pride as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, I WILL save them!"

Blood leaked from the Sorcerer's mouth as another staring match ensued, each waiting for the other to make the first move.

Stain raised a hand to his mouth, blood alongside one of his molars pooling in his palm.

"Three hits. Three hits, not counting the ones I guarded against. Those blows I took from that kid dealt this much damage to me? I'm glad I threw that knife when I did, and even then, I only managed to catch him by surprise since he wasn't using Simple Domain."

Stain's excited grin devolved into an irate glare as he stared at the Temporary Pro Hero before him.

Solidifying his own stance, Stain had only one goal in mind, said goal having to do nothing with his two marks outside,

Defeat Izuku Midoriya.

The two shuffled closer to one another, their fists brushing against each other as they awaited the first move.

This time, it came from Stain.

The man lashed out with a right jab, Izuku leaning back to dodge.

The boy carried his momentum, falling into a backflip with his legs extended, sending a right leg kick that narrowly missed the Hero Killer.

As soon as the Temporary Pro's left foot touched the ground, he jumped back, narrowly avoiding the right-leg low kick from Stain.

Izuku continued his momentum, putting distance between the two via a back handspring.

Stain immediately closed that distance before shooting off a right hammer fist which Izuku stepped back to dodge.

The attack shattered the sink beside the Hero Killer, the aforementioned villain using a hunk of it to launch at the Sorcerer which the Temporary Pro Hero ducked under.

Closing the distance once more, Stain continued his offensive, throwing a right jab that Izuku slapped to the side.

The Sorcerer immediately used his right arm to block the follow-up right jab aimed at his sternum.

Loading up that same right arm, Izuku shot out his own right jab which was slapped away by the Hero Killer.

Cocking his left arm back, Stain shot out a left straight that Izuku matched with his own, Cursed Energy coated right one.

The two seemed equally matched until a second, stronger impact, sent the Hero Killer's arm flying backward.

Before Izuku could capitalize on the opening, a projectile threatened to take out one of his Six Eyes, causing the Sorcerer to dodge.

Looking to his right, the Jujutsushi caught sight of the projectile. He'd expected a knife, shuriken, or something similar, but what he hadn't expected,

Was for it to be a tooth.

More specifically, the tooth he'd knocked out earlier.

Capitalizing on Izuku's distraction, Stain launched a right straight that the boy just barely managed to block, sending the Sorcerer flying to the other side of the bathroom.

From his position on the ground, Izuku grabbed the grate he'd opened with before throwing it at the Hero Killer.

The aforementioned villain slapped the grate away before throwing a left straight.

Izuku jumped up before kicking the punch, landing behind the Hero Killer and backflipping away to put distance between them.

Stain threw a left elbow that Izuku front flipped over.

Turning mid-air, Izuku sent a left-leg sidekick toward the villain's center mass which was blocked by the Hero Killer's right arm.

Copying the boy slightly, stain jumped up before sticking out his legs in an attempt to stomp on Izuku's skull.

The Jujutsushi avoided the kick by jumping higher than Stain before placing his hand on the ceiling and pushing off, drop-kicking the Hero Killer.

The villain managed to block at the last moment before grabbing the Sorcerer's right leg with his left hand and tossing him into a stall.

Retrieving one of his knives, the Hero Killer attempted to stab the fallen boy in his eye, the aforementioned combatant managing to stop the blade by pushing up against the villain's right forearm.

The Hero Killer slammed his left arm on top in an attempt to overpower the boy, however, Izuku's Cursed Energy reinforced physical strength was enough to outclass that of Stain's.

The struggle went on for a few more moments before Stain dropped the knife, deeming the struggle pointless.

Izuku seized his opportunity and grabbed onto the toilet before raising his legs and using the latrine as leverage to drop-kick his adversary, sending him through the rest of the stalls.

The Sorcerer followed up with a left hook which Stain leaned back to avoid.

Responding with his own offense, The Hero Killer shot a left straight toward his adversary, the aforementioned boy matching the punch with his right.

Stain quickly followed up with a right hook to the boy's ribs which landed, sending him reeling a bit.

Reaching underneath his vest, Stain procured a short sword which he used to swing horizontally at Izuku.

The aforementioned boy ducked, narrowly avoiding being decapitated.

He repeated the attack once more however this time, Stain brought the sword back, throwing a right back fist at the Sorcerer who narrowly blocked with his own right arm.

Raising his right leg, the Hero Killer sent a lead round toward Izuku, which landed flush.

The Sorcerer slammed against the windows, the breath knocked from his lungs as Stain closed the distance between them.

Once Izuku reached the floor, he rolled away from the villain before him, narrowly avoiding a stomp headed toward his skull.

Raising his right leg, Izuku sent a right-leg round kick that Stain blocked with his left arm before responding by dragging the fingers on his left hand across the fresh stab wound on the boy's stomach.

Staying on the offensive, the Hero Killer threw a left palm strike at the Sorcerer's face, making sure to stick a thumb in the boy's right Six Eye, putting it out of commission.

The villain then threw another left hook which Izuku caught before yanking the Hero Killer toward him.

The aforementioned man used the new momentum against the Jujutsushi, throwing him to the ground.

The Sorcerer rolled along the ground for a while before rolling to his feet and turning around.

Running toward the other side of the bathroom, Izuku jumped, turned around, and planted his legs on the wall before launching off of it and drop-kicking the Hero Killer with Curse Energy-filled legs.

The aforementioned villain caught the attack however the second, stronger impact jerked his head back, causing it to hit the open stall door behind him.

"I'm not done!"

Opening his legs, Izuku wrapped them around the Hero Killer's neck before twisting his lower body, sending the villain flying while rotating horizontally.

Stain's back collided with yet another mirror, causing a mixture of blood and spit to fly from his mouth as Izuku closed the distance.

Continuing his offensive, the Jujutsushi coated his right hand in cursed energy, throwing a right straight at the Hero Killer who raised his guard.

There was no impact, however.

The Sorcerer's fist unraveled into a palm which obscured the villain's face, the Cursed Energy in the aforementioned hand dissipating.

Instead, Izuku reared back his left hand before sending it barreling into the man's stomach, pouring Cursed Energy into his fist at the last second and praying his last-ditch move would work.

And his prayers were answered.

Arcs of black and red lightning danced across the Jujutsushi's fist as it rocketed toward the Hero Killer, said lightning transferring into the villain as his fist made contact and Izuku called the technique's name.

"Black. Flash."

"Are you alright, Midoriya?"

A cool sensation washed over his body as the voice spoke, causing the Sorcerer's eyes to flutter open.

Before him stood Shoto, Tenya, and Native, each sporting concerned looks as their eyes darted to his wounds.

His uninjured Six Eye shifted toward Stain, chuckling upon seeing the man who'd nearly ended his life covered in ice like a popsicle.

Turning back toward the three people standing over him, Izuku finally answered the question, his voice dry and raspy.

"I'm ok. Did you fight anyone, Shoto?"

The dual-haired teen nodded, a confused expression kissing his face.

"Ok, then I, Izuku Midoriya, hereby exercise my authority as an Emergency Pro Hero and give Shoto Todoroki and Tenya Iida clearance to act within their best judgment to help contain the crisis in Hosu, even if that means fighting against villains."

As soon as his deceleration finished, a look of understanding and gratitude fell over his classmates' faces as Native palmed his forehead.

"I didn't even think of that."

"You three have a visitor."

The usually lighthearted tone of The Normal Hero: Manual was absent as a sense of anxiousness overtook the man.

Tenya, Shoto, and Izuku turned toward their shared room door, watching in confusion as a man with a dog head walked in.

The large dog-man stopped at the foot of their beds, his arms folded behind his back as he spoke.

"The Hero Killer: Stain has suffered a plethora of injuries including, but not limited to, electrical burns, blunt force trauma to the head, neck abrasions, several broken bones, etc. He's in critical condition, but he'll live."

A look of relief flooded the Sorcerer. As many people as Stain killed, Izuku still had no intention to kill him and would probably go insane if he did.

The dog-man broke the Jujutsushi's train of thought once he began speaking again.

"That isn't why I'm here today, however. Let me introduce myself. I'm Kenji Tsugarame, The Chief of Police. I'm here because you three are facing charges of vigilantism for engaging in combat with known villains and illegally restraining the aforementioned villains. Charges like these could result in expulsion and serious time in a federal prison."

A sense of nervousness befell Manual as he feared his protege and his friends may be arrested.

His fears were eased as Kenji spoke once more.

"However, since there were Pro's in the area, we can credit the capture of those villains to them. Stains injuries align almost perfectly with Miruko's fighting style so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that she defea-"

Izuku cut him off.

"The Rabbit Hero: Miruko extended me Emergency Hero Status for the duration of the Hosu incident meaning I was able to exercise all the powers of a fully licensed Hero. As such, I was able to extend that EHS to both Shoto Todoroki and Tenya Iida thus absolving us of all possible vigilante-related charges."

The two adults in the room adopted expressions of shock as they stared at the Sorcerer before them, the boy having completely dismissed any possible repercussions.

Clearing his throat, Kenji spoke, a slight waver in his voice.

"If that's the case then we'll need confir-"

"Yeah, I gave him EHS."

The Chief of Police nearly jumped out of his skin upon hearing the voice of Rabbit Hero behind him.

Turning about face, Kenji locked eyes with the Pro Hero, a mix of boredom and amusement painting her face.

Exhaling deeply, Kenji rubbed the side of his dog's head before turning back to the three boys and speaking.

"Well congrats, you three have your first crisis under your belts and it's only your first year. And you, Midoriya, you single-handedly rescued over 70 civilians and took down the Hero Killer. You're already quite the Hero."

The three boys wore blushes of varying intensity as the man excused himself, heading back to the station to file his report of the incident.

As soon as the door closed Miruko hugged her protege before setting down Playful Cloud, the three-section staff covered in dried blood.

She then ruffled the boy's tri-colored locks before finally speaking, a wide grin on her face.

"He's right y'know, you're already a pretty good Hero."

A warm smile spread across the Sorcerer's face.

"Thank you, Miru-"

"Still not as good as me though!"

"Do you really have to goooooo?"

The last day of internships had come sooner than expected as Izuku stood before his mentor, expressions of sadness marring their faces.

"I do, sorry, but I promise to be your sidekick once I graduate!"

A twinge of the aforementioned angst melted from the woman as the beginnings of a smile tugged on her lips.

"You better! Who else is gonna make me curry and candied yams!"

The Sorcerer smiled at the comment as he zipped his duffel bag up and turned toward the exit.

Before he could exit, however, a strong mocha-colored arm stopped him.

Turning back toward his mentor, he nearly palmed his forehead upon seeing what she held.

His Hero Suit case.

Grabbing the case, Izuku offered her a bow of gratitude however the woman seemingly wasn't finished.

Pointing to the case, a wide grin painted her face as she hastily instructed her protege.

"Open it!"

The Sorcerer set his duffel bag down before complying with his mentor, a twinge of confusion staining his face.

Upon opening the case, however, that confusion turned to elation as he held his suit jacket up to his torso.

The suit was almost completely similar to how it looked prior to the Hosu Incident save for two key differences.

The first was the addition of a pair of dark green bunny ears atop the hood, the shape of them not dissimilar to those of his mentor.

The second was the yellow crescent moon adorning the upper left of the jacket.

The same insignia his mentor wore.

Noticing his amazement, Miruko spoke, her voice matching the giddiness her protege felt.

"This way, everyone knows you're MY student. It was MY student who beat Stain and it'll be MY student who'll be the best Hero to walk the earth!"
