Pulse growled furiously.

He was only supposed to act like he was helping her, and Pulse would fake being hurt.

Then the facade would continue with Pulse running away.

Pulse wanted to ask what Majnun was doing, but the Absol wouldn't stop his assault.

"Leave her alone you stupid Houndour!"

The Absol bared his fangs, swiping at him with his horns.

His eyes were blazing with real anger.

Pulse didn't understand.

He leaped back to avoid the attack.

Why was this guy so bipolar?

One minute he was letting him pretend to murder his crush, if you can even call that weird obsession over the female Jolteon a crush, and the next he was baring his fangs with anger aimed to kill.

That's what Pulse believed anyways.

Was he trying to gain his trust just to backstab him here and take him in?

Pulse stumbled a bit, trying to regain control. He needed control. He needed it.

Pulse snarled furiously.

"No! You two aren't strong enough to defeat me. A whole army of you aren't tough enough." Pulse rambled as he stalked towards them.

The two Pokémon exchanged half lidded gazes of unbelief.

They didn't believe Pulse could take out a whole army.

Majnun chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever makes you sleep at night. Speaking of sleeping at night, I hope you sleep forever for what you did." Majnun snarled, lashing out at Pulse with his claws.

Pulse cried out as he tried to dodge, the slash attack that Majnun was using.

The slash attack grazed over his chest, lightly making a wound.

Pulse barely felt the attack, but he was greatly insulted.

This is what he gets for letting himself being fooled on a mission.

Trust is worthless when you give it right away. Lesson learned. I need to escape. Once Izar starts attacking it will make it easier for Paarthurnax and any other pathetic Pokémon who gets in my way to arrest me and hand me to jail. That's just as bad as going to that hellhole of a school that my father wanted me to go to.

Pulse focused some energy on a Smog attack, wanting to give himself an opportunity to escape.

Both Izar and Majnun began coughing as soon as the purple clouds came out of Pulse's mouth.

He continued to breathe it out.

If he continued to do so, he could kill them.

That would be the most satisfying thing ever. He thought with his teeth clenched in hatred for the Absol and Jolteon.

He heard a loud sound coming from outside the house.

Is that...sirens? Pulse gawked angrily at Majnun who was just glaring at him.

Izar was snickering.

"Oh, there they are. Finally. I was thinking they would never show up." Izar yipped with a devilish smile.

"You called the cops?!" Pulse growled.

"Well, yeah. When I heard you speaking with my dad and wasting your time, I called the Pokémon Police." Izar barked.

She coughed violently before continuing.

"I'm not an idiot. You can't fool me, ugly." She insulted.

Pulse growled, turning to the door which had some voices calling to him.

"Come out with your paws up. If you have any that is. Don't make us use force to catch you. Just give up easily, and we might give you a shorter sentence." A bark sounded from outside.

It was an Arcanine obviously.

"Yeah! We had a report there was a murderer here and so we came."

"Shut up, Growlithe! Let me speak with the dumb mutt."

Even if Pulse was to be persuaded, that would have made him change his mind about everything.

The Growlithe mumbled something under his breath before the Arcanine continued.

"Anyways, come on out of there, or we will have to break in."

Pulse huffed as he quickly pounced on Izar, taking her down.

She screamed loudly.

"Oh shit." The Growlithe exclaimed. "S-Sir, I don't think whoever's in there will listen to reason. Please, let's just go in. If we can save a life, that's better than trying to get whoever's in there out peacefully. We are a police force. If they won't oblige, then we must make them!"

The Arcanine nodded.

"Yes, Cadet. You are right. Okay guys I have another plan, but I'll whisper it so the intruder doesn't hear us through the door."

This gave Pulse enough time to use Izar's body as a trampoline to send him to the other side of the room.

"No! Don't let him get away!" Izar barked as she leapt to her paws in panic.

Majnun quickly ran at Pulse, trying to grab him with his jaws, but missed.

Pulse halted for a moment before sending an Ember their way.

It sure does suck to just have one fire attack. Ember might be powerful, but it isn't enough to help me as a murder weapon.

Pulse swiftly ran for the window.

Majnun, and Izar were on his tail.

Izar fired off a Thunder, which almost hit Pulse.

Fuck! That Jolteon is surprisingly strong! Thunder? How high of a level is she? Or did her parents buy her that super powerful move?Pulse wondered as he ran through the hall.

Ahead of him he could spy a window.

Yes! If I can just-

His thoughts were cut off abruptly as he was hit with a Gray beam.

He screamed as he was flung across the room.

The wind was knocked out of his belly.

Majnun had used Hyper Beam.

"Good job, Absol!" Izar praised with a yip.

Pulse didn't have time to pay attention to the fact that the Absol hadn't even known this Jolteon.

He needed to find a way out of this place.

A loud barking sound could be heard.

Pulse panicked as he got back up on his paws.

Had the Police force managed to knock down the door? Are they on their way inside?

Pulse glanced back at the window.

There was no time to break it.

He didn't hear any police outside this window. It was the window near the woods.

Pulse knew that if he jumped at the window he could break it, but if he tried an attack it probably wouldn't even dent the window.

Knowing that there was a Flareon who lived here, the window probably needed to be fire proof or something.

Either way, Pulse didn't want to take any risks.

He already had enough Pokémon on him.

First the starter Charmander, now the Police and some random Jolteon?

Pulse growled as he turned his attention back to Izar.

"Stay put, you filthy monster! Just accept defeat!" Izar woofed as she hit him with a Pin Missile.

It was weak, but it still pained Pulse.

"Good always triumphs over evil!" She barked.

Majnun agreed with her.

"Yeah, you bastard. Killing Pokémon won't get you out of this one!" He snarled, aiming a Slash at him.

Pulse yelped as he felt his flesh rip apart.

He was cornered.

He had to jump out of that window.

He could spy the Arcanine and his troops swiftly approaching.

"Humph. Maybe killing Pokémon gets me in trouble, but hey at least that's two less Pokémon getting in my way." Pulse bragged, glancing at the window and jumping.

He used as much of his body weight as he could to break down the window.

The window smashed with ease.

He landed harshly.

A voice called out to him.

"Well, in that case, you've made yourself two enemies, Pulse! And we will stop at nothing to stop you!"

It was Izar.

Little does she know it's only one of them who will do nothing to stop me. Majnun might be my new enemy, but something tells me while he's now my enemy, that doesn't mean he wants to stop me.

Pulse then turned to the forest.

He could hear Izar and Majnun speaking to the police.

They were telling them about what happened.

Pulse then decided it was best to escape as fast as he could while they were talking to the Police.

Hah. That's funny. The police are wimps. Have they always been like this? He wonders with a smirk.

I could put that to good use later in life.

It seemed as if they didn't care.

They seemed corrupt.

Pulse ignored most of the thoughts that creeped in his mind as he continued to run.

He huffed and puffed as he entered the scary forest.

Though, it was now comforting to him.

Better than being back with those nerve wracking Pokémon.

It was quiet in the forest.

He supposed it was a good thing.

But he couldn't help, but feel watched as he continued to walk in the forest.

The sun was beginning to peek through the trees and Pulse hurried himself.

Not only was he trying to get away from the cops, but now he had to get back before Ulysses noticed.

His paws ached, especially his injured paw. It was throbbing, and it felt swollen.

Pulse grumbled.

It was just another thing that would halt his plans.

He could feel the way he walked change.

He was starting to lean on his other paw more, and put more weight on it.

I just hope that if I have to leave Poketown that it will be after this paw has healed. I don't think I'll be able to run too fast like I did back there if I have to constantly be on it.

Pulse approached the treehouse, and began to climb the stairs in a desperate scramble to get back inside.

He sighed as he closed the door for two reasons: he was relieved he got back there in time and in his frustration that he might now be a wanted outlaw.

He didn't want to become one just yet.

He was only fifteen years old at this point. How was he going to fend for himself if he was on the run?

That's why he forced himself to keep his mom alive. He still needed her, even if it was just for a little while.

He growled slightly at the thought that he still needed one of his parents.

I'm going to definitely have to research things more. I know that I'll need to know all about legendaries and all about how to help myself in situations such as these. I don't want to rely on a hobo who's secluded from the outside world.

He wanted to be self dependent.

He's always been a little independent, but never completely.

I suppose I should turn this villain thing into a full time thing. I can certainly steal things to make a living, but I'll also have to train greatly, and probably evolve. Maybe I can ask Jabetu and Hasira to join me once Jabetu is all better and once I've sweet talked Hasira some more.

He shuddered.

Talking to Hasira would be the hard part.

But, if he can comply with her, then his chances of being a better villain would double.

He scrambled into the bed for the second time that night, or dawn.

He curled up and fell asleep, but still felt like he was being watched.

He had no time to know who or what was watching him since he fell asleep, but he would definitely investigate it in the morning.

It may be the Arcanine or Growlithe team that were hunting him.

They were very good at sniffing out where a Pokemon's location was.

They might have already found him.

He closed his eyes and settled into the slight rest he was going to get.

He knew he would be cranky tomorrow, but for now he was going to rest up like he should have done, and allow some time for his paw to heal.

He at least hoped he would.

Pulse woke up when a paw roughly shook his body.

His body ached with pain as he stretched open his eyes.

It was Hasira.

She was smiling down at him.

"Wake up, Sleepyhead! It's morning! Ulysses made us breakfast! Come on!"

Pulse groaned as he got out of bed, his wounds showing.

Seeing the wounds made Hasira gasp with worry.

"Y-you're hurt! What happened?"
