Lumagrowl and Elfin were by themselves with a couple of the kids still remaining with them. A few of them had been teleported to different areas of the facility. They didn't know where they went, but knew that they were still around.
"What are we going to do now?" Lumagrowl asked. "What do you think we're going to do? Stay here and protect the remaining kids here," Elfin told him.
They were covered in bruises and cuts on their body, but that wasn't important to them. Lumagrowl had started to feel pain in his legs and stomach. It was abnormal to him that this was happening to him and not knowing it was causing it was strange. Then he fell over, it was like he was getting stabbed in other places.
"Iida, you need to get help. You're the only one that's fast enough to get someone. Please hurry," she begged. Iida was in complete shock and felt like he couldn't move for a while before actually listening and went to get help.
Elfin had taken notice of the fact that Lumagrowl started to bleed out.
Pichu and Murkrow had taken off a while ago to try and find everyone. They were able to find them in smaller groups. "Have any of you seen Musa?" was asked a couple times. Getting no's from them, the duo started drowning in worry for the girl. Taking to the sky once more, the search for her continued.
"Land there. I see Horridian,"
After spotting Horridian, Murkrow flew over to where they were fast. When they landed, they noticed that Horridian was holding an unconscious Musa. a few of her other spirits had been scattered about with the villain laying on the ground; seeming dead next to a cat. A massive 'X' had been craving in the chest
This cat was mostly covered in orange fur, and white on its snout, paws, and inner ears, as well as a white mane. It has many black spots on its fur. It had green eyes with cross-shaped pupils that turned red with X shaped pupils when threatened. It also has a tail, and has two scarves like appendages. Both the tail and the scarf-like appendages have multiple black "X" on it, and X-shaped protrusion on its end. It also has white hexagonal crystals with golden borders on its forelegs.
The cat noticed both of them before quickly disappearing. Pichu was about to go after it, "Pichu, don't after it. We have to stay with Musa right now. Don't you see the condition that she's in right now?" Murkrow asked.
Pichu climbed up on Horridian's shoulder while Murkrow scouted the area. Seeing Musa's bloody body laying limp had frustrated him beyond belief. He should've been there to protect her.
"Come on, staying here isn't going to help her any faster. The pros are here now and I don't know how much time she has left,"
I could feel pain coursing through my body. I didn't know where I was but I did know I was on a bed. The pain wasn't what I felt before I passed out, I knew someone had healed me. 'This could have been your chance. You dying would've been a miracle for everyone,'
Ignoring that, I was starting to hear voices; meaning there were a couple of people in the room. Though I wasn't sure how many.
"When do you think she'll wake up?" I heard Neito ask; being the closest to me.
"I know you three are worried about her, but she'll be okay. Musa lost a lot of blood, but she could wake up any minute now. She'll be happy that you came to visit," recovery girl said.
'They don't really care about you. They were forced to come see you. You're nothing to them, someone to petty,'
Opening my eyes, I took in the light of the room. I was in the school's nurse's office. "Hey, you're awake! How are you feeling?"
"Other than the pain that I still feel, I'm lucky to still be alive," I said. 'I really wish you weren't,'
I did my best to sit up; with the help of Neito. Pichu was sitting at the end of my bed while Elfin and Murkrow were by the window. Stella and Josuke just so happened to be in the room as well. I was honestly glad that my minions were okay. Also, seeing other than just Neito here did make me a bit better.
Glancing around the room, I saw that there were two bodies in the other beds. It had hit me like a truck; I left my dad behind.
'Why am I so stupid,'
"Where's my dad?! Is he okay?!"
A huge bubble of guilt started to form in me. Why would I just leave him behind when he needed me. 'You don't seem to care about him like you present. Some daughter you are. Why are you just a worthless parasite?"'
"Yes, but he's not in the best condition at the moment. He's resting over there at the moment,"
Getting a better look, he was just covered in bandages. I also had been wrapped in quite a lot. My arms and I assumed legs were wrapped in some too.
"Musa, don't blame yourself for what happened. He was up against a Nomu. Your father would most definitely not want you getting in the way of the attacks,"
"I don't know what that is, but I caused him to worry about me because of me being stupid. If I didn't, we wouldn't be where we are,"
Even with them not saying anything, it was evident that something else was on their minds. I started feeling a hand on my face, looking up to see Neito wiping something off. Moving his hand away, I saw that there was a black liquid on his hand. I had been crying, wonderful. I grabbed a couple of tissues and gave it over to him. "Musa,"
He had pulled into one of his tight hugs he used to give me. I remember him giving them to me either when I was in this state or he simply just missed me. Not sure which one was this situation would be considered both to him.
"I was worried about you, why did you go off by yourself?"
Feeling a wet spot starting to form on my shirt, I pulled away from him. It was my turn to wipe tears, "I just thought I could handle it by myself with just one more villian. I guess I just let my emotions cloud my mind. Sorry for having you worry about me,"
"We're friends, remember? We're going to get worried for you as much as you're going to get worried when we're in your spot," Josuke said. Him and Stella had come over to the other side of my bed. Maybe having more friends wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
"Recovery girl, I have a question," Stella said.
"Yes dear, what is it?"
"If it's not too much to ask, we wanted to know if we were able to take Musa out tomorrow? I don't she wants to stay stuck in here till school starts back up?"
"I don't see why not, but she'll have to be in a wheelchair so she doesn't strain herself. Since visiting hours are now up, you kids should start heading home. It's starting to get late out,"
They seemed reluctant to leave me before ending up giving me hugs. Being the last one to leave, Neito had grabbed my hand one last time. Giving me a knowing look, "Promise me that you'll be okay and keep whatever is on your mind away?"
Smiling slightly, I just nodded at him. "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow," I muttered. With that, he finally left the room.
Seeing that he had left my bag on a chair; some clothes and food within. With them not being, it had gotten quite pretty quick in here. Pichu had crawled into my lap and Murkrow flew over to the bed. "Are you three feeling okay?"
"Yeah, we're fine. Me and Murkrow didn't really do much fighting. Just trying to make sure that your class was still alive. We're not really sure of what happened with Elfin and Lumagrowl though,"
"Can you tell me what else happened while I was out?"
"Me and Pichu had a bit of a hard time trying to find around the time you had run off. Though when we did eventually find you however. Horridian was holding you while you were bleeding out. Unsure how much time had passed since you started before we arrived. It was a little strange that there was a cat and from the look of it; it had taken down whoever you were up against. Pichu was about to go investigate, but it disappeared as soon as it noticed us," Murkrow explained.
"It did look familiar to us, though, it was like we've seen th-"
I had moved my attention over to Elfin while they talked. She had been awfully quiet ever since I woke up. It wasn't like her to be like this. 'How would you know? You haven't known her for that long anyways,'
"Elfin? Are you okay?"
She never responded back as she floated out of the room. "She's been like that for a while now. Lumagrowl had gotten injured in the same exact spots you did without ever getting hit with anything. She's just worried about him," Grandma said.
I watched as she hopped out her seat and approached my bed, seeming worried about something. "Has she been getting to you?"
"It's nothing to be worried about. I'm fine," I told her. Laying back down, I just stared at the ceiling. It was like a sense of comfort for me in a way. "Musa, you and I both know it's not. You haven't told your dad about her?"
Not answering, I just laid there. It was never the best conversation to have. Talking about her of all things was talking about death to me.
"You can't leave him in the dark forever. He's going to find out at some point," she remarked. She left shortly after that, leaving me alone in the dark; alone in my thoughts.
4 four marbles had been spying on her through the window. They finally found the person that had Horridian and Spyron. It had been months since we were separated, now they could all be together. They disappeared shortly afterwards, coming up with a plan to get this human to fork up their friends.
It had felt like hours since I've been laying here awake. I would've gotten up and explored the school for a while, but I just felt more exhausted than usual. "Musa, can we talk for a bit?" Elfin asked. She started floating over to me.
