"You really have a sweet tooth, don't you Hinata?"
She nodded, stuffing her face with another cinnamon roll. "I adore them, I am rarely allowed to indulge, but today is special."
Laughing lightly, Mika smiled at her. "So, tell me what are your dreams? I mean overall, things that no one else knows? Besides what we discussed earlier."
She frowned, sighing. "Naruto. A boy in my class, I sort of... well, it's not a crush. After thinking on it, after seeing how I reacted to you being so nice to me... well, I realized it was me being desperate. I just wanted him because he saved me as a kid for being bullied. Then I admired him for how he handled the abuse of the village that seemed to hate him for no reason."
Mika frowned. "Naruto... the orange wearing brat that pranks people and stuffs his face at that ramen shop?"
The girl nodded. "Everyone hates him, I could never figure out why." She looked up, skyward. "I may not obsess over him as I once did, but I am thinking of helping him... but first myself. I need to care about me. I think I was so afraid of admitting how bad I had it, I only ever served others. It is my turn to matter."
He patted her hand, genuinely proud. "That is a sentiment I can really get behind... now, I have to get to the library. I have some... things to study." She nodded, winking at him. "See you later, hime."
He ditched her then, hurrying to the library, eager to get started with his sealing training. He had a promise to fulfill and it would take years to do it. He had to start now...
He would end up with a book on the basics concept of sealing, and a scroll on sealing scrolls and paper tags. Buying supplies to practice sealing was also something he had to get to get started. He only had so much time to dedicate to these subjects. So much to study, so little time.

Three Weeks Later
Hinata found as the days progressed, the weeks passed, that she no longer cared for the academy. Fighting Mika, who was easily as skilled as Neji in his own way, left he realizing that the academy was currently beneath her. She did her best to apply his lessons for everything, and that including his combat lessons and throwing weapons training. In fact, it was this last part that hade Iruka looking at her in shock, alongside her entire team.
She had just, EASILY, outpaced Sasuke in throwing weapons. 'Against Mika's water clones, stationary posts and dummies are a joke.' Closing her eyes, sans Byakugan, she threw the optionary senbon into the targets perfectly, something even Sasuke had never done.
"Hinata, how did you...?" Iruka asked. "I have seen a remarkable increase in your skills..." There was a sharpness, as if he was accusing her of cheating.
Something she deeply resented.
She turned to him. "Mika from your previous class, he was recently field promoted to Chunin, and made my tutor. He is quite amazing. I have never learned so much, or so fast." Yes, this was a dig at Iruka, whom she realized was far from a great mentor. Same with that idiot Mizuki...
Iruka nodded, eyes wide. "Mika? I thought he went into Hospital work?"
"He does both, he is an exceptional Medic. Even my father considers him quite the genius. His true skills and potential had not been shown fully until he started to have access to greater resources." She twitched, her skin sort of itching as she remembered something important. Looking around, she saw a solution. "I cannot train with Mika today, I am aching for a challenge... can I spar with Sasuke? He is not as good as Mika but he should be suitable."
The entire class gasped, no one had ever challenged Sasuke bar Naruto, and he always lost. Hinata had been far too shy, but she knew could easily best Sasuke. Even before Mika's training, her time with her father left her with a high mastery of taijutsu. Mika mostly brought out the confidence needed to tap in that mastery. The extra skills sharpened her to even greater heights.
"I... I guess, Sasuke are you ready for that?"
"Hn." Sasuke said, before almost boardely turning to her. "If you're okay with losing."
To her shock, the urge to beat his ass was actually rather strong. With a coldness her father would admire, she glared at him and she swore she felt Mika's voice crawled out of her mouth. "Only if you're okay with me shoving my foot up your scrawny ass."
The room gasped again.
"HINATA, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT TO MY SASUKE!" Ino and Sakura bitched out, before bickering among themselves.
Hinata settled it all by striding over to the sparring circle. Sasuke was there quickly, not smug but bored.
Iruka raised a hand... and swiped it through. "Start!"
Hinata was there, ducking under Sasuke's fist, landing a harsh upper palm to his jaw that sent him flying back. She was there, at his slamming another palm into his side that sent him flying away. Sasuke, realizing he needed to take this seriously, rolled to his feet and bolted at her, lashing out with a kick, only she easily saw it coming. He was sluggish compared to Mika.
Twisting to the side, she grabbed his ankle and twisted his to landing a kick to Sasuke's knee. As he dropped to the ground in agony, she slammed a fist to his temple, knocking him out.
The arena was dead silent, and no one would ever look at Hinata the same...
And that feeling, seeing them look at her like that, with fear and respect, it would never leave her heart.
'This is how they always should have looked at me... and how they will, now and forever...'
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was a great chapter, a bit rushed but still.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
Mika.
