"M'lady, you I love you and all, but I am very soaked, Cat," Cat said.

The duo had been on patrol and a sudden downpour had caught them unawares. Ladybug smiled, her own pigtails now resembling sopping wet ropes. "I'll see you soon."

They split and Ladybug felt herself slipping more then once on the wet rooftops. She looked around at her surroundings, noting she was close to Adrien's. Maybe she would visit him for a bit until the weather cleared.

"Adrien?" she called, when she made her way to his room, making puddles as she walked. Perhaps he wasn't home?

But just then, Adrien emerged from the bathroom, wiping his hair with a towel. "Ladybug!" Adrien exclaimed, seeing his best friend shivering with cold. "Your all wet," he rubbed her hands. "The rain caught me and Cat off guard. Mind if I stay for a bit?" "Make yourself at home, but let's get you dried off," he said, leading her towards the bathroom.

Ladybug dozed off as Adrien dried her hair, leaving behind her Medusa snakes and returning it to a fluffy shine. A bottle of nail polish sat on the bathroom counter.

"Oh, one of the models must have left that. Say, you want me to paint your nails?" I give him a small smile. "I'd have to detransform for that to happen." "Oh," a grin spreads across his face.

"Then you can paint my nails." "Fair enough," I laugh. Its just a clear color after all, for practice.

"So, what are your hopes and dreams, Miss Ladybug?" Adrien asks as I start. Adrien and I are close enough friends that I share most everything with him. "To be a successful designer and have a family one day." "Those sounds like good dreams."

"Yeah, but I have a weakness," I confess. "Is it me?" Adrien jokes. "Oh, stop. No, I lack confidence out of the suit. I'm so shy, you might as well call me a mouse." Adrien gets a thoughtful look on his face as I mention the mouse. What's he thinking?

"I happen to think mice are extremely cute," he winks and I blush. "How do you do it?" I groan. "Do what?" "Be popular, kind, funny. Confident. The camera loves you."

"I don't love the camera," Adrien says seriously. "What the public sees is a public image, but underneath the makeup and glam, Adrien Agreste cares about three things. Paris's safety, Ladybug and my friend Marinette."

He cares...for me? As Marinette? The rain is louder now.

"I care about you too, Adrien. And I know for a fact, so does Marinette."

"Just remember, Little Bug. Shyness isn't a weakness and if you have love in your heart, that is your greatest strength."

I may be a strong and successful superhero, but in and out of the mask my greatest weakness is the kindest boy in Paris named Adrien Agreste.
