"What was that villain wearing?" Ladybug whispered as she sat with Adrien, catching her breath. "I know," Adrien whispered back. "Didn't anyone tell her or Hawkmoth that glitter was last season?"
There was a pause and the pair burst into laughter. "Not the picture of elegance, that's for sure," Ladybug giggled. "I bet your elegant when your not saving the world," Adrien smiled. Ladybug laughed. "As if! At home, I'm usually sporting sweatpants and a tank top!"
Being up in the attic room it got hot, especially in the summer. "I know a thing or two about elegance. Care if I share?" Adrien gave her a playful wink and her heart skipped a beat. "Make me a doll," she joked, putting on a fake accent.
An hour later, Ladybug felt more like a flamingo then the creature she had named herself after. Adrien had found a hot pink top, a feather boa which was arranged very carefully to prevent sneezing, and large heart-shaped sunglasses.
Adrien himself wore a top hat, and a nice suit. "Very chic," Ladybug laughed. "Selfie?" Adrien held up his phone. "Smoothie lips!" Ladybug called, and they posed for the next few minutes in the most ridiculous poses. "Oh, oh," Ladybug wiped tears of laughter from her eyes. "That was fun."
Adrien took her hands, and she liked the warm feeling spreading through her. "Anything I do with you is fun, Little Bug. You make very moment special." Oh, how she melted at his words! But instead of being elegant she replied, "Thanks, you suck up. Race you to Starbucks!" she yelled, running away.
Adrien laughed, taking off after her. He didn't need elegance, for it was stuffy and upper crust. No, he'd rather have fun with his best friend, and that for the both of them was elegant enough.
