Now onto the story.

Searching
Finally reaching the lab the Avengers prepared themselves, nodding to their families and beloveds who were also going to head inside. As they made their way inside, Spider-Boy looked back, looking around the street which was thankfully deserted for once.
'We made it here without incident but we can't take that for granted...who knows where Venom or his minions are hiding. Not only that, what are they plotting, there haven't been any Symbiote attacks or Bio-Domes yet. But that can't last, it won't last.' He reflected worriedly.
Focusing again, noting that the most obvious reason for the street being deserted was the threat, it was impossible for people to ignore the Symbiote threat anymore. They were likely hiding away in their homes, in hopes of avoiding any such attack. With a sigh, Spider-Boy made his way inside after the others and ended up occupying all three elevators between them, regardless they were soon on their way up to meet with Dr. Connors, in the hopes that he would be able to help them defeat the Symbiotes once and for all.
"I just hope this works, things are looking pretty grim right now and if we can't find a way to stop the Symbiotes quickly, we're gonna be facing an uphill struggle." Spider-Boy said at last.
They had just exited the elevators on the right floor and now they were about to enter the lab.
"I'm sure it'll work, it has to work." Jessica said softly.
The others nodded and, with hope in their hearts, they entered the lab.
Dr. Connors looked up when they entered and immediately stood up, especially upon seeing Spider-Boy.
"You all made it, you managed to…" He remarked before quickly composing himself. "I'm glad to see you're okay, Spider-Boy. Your friends here were all worried for you, you know."
Spider-Boy laughed. "So I heard. I'm just glad everything worked out. My thanks for any part you played in that."
Dr. Connors nodded. "Yes, well...I hope they shared the new weaponry with you. It should be more effective at handling Symbiotes than the previous lot."
"Yeah, they did." Spider-Boy replied. "They should work really well I think, given how well they worked on me."
Dr. Connors nodded, smiling in relief and looked around at the others.
"So, it's safe to assume you're all working on this together?" He queried.
They all nodded and finally, Spider-Boy pulled out the container that held the Symbiote.
"This is it." He explained. "This is the Symbiote that had me in its grasp. We're hoping-"
"Hoping I can research it and find out what's making Venom so much stronger." Dr. Connors finished. "Hopefully find a way to end this invasion and take out the Symbiotes."
"Hopefully at the same time, or they'd find a way to regroup their forces and try again." Black Panther added.
Dr. Connors sighed and nodded.
"Fair enough." He took the cannister. "This will not be easy, but I'll get started."
They all nodded and waited anxiously as they watched Dr. Connors begin to get to work and start checking everything he could, as well as few experimental actions with the Symbiote. They stayed on hand to make sure it stayed inert, which it luckily did.
That was when something happened which caught their attention, a flash of something through the window.
"What the…?" White Tiger gasped.
Speed Demon was the first to notice, being closest to the window. "Over there guys, look."
They hurried over while Dr. Connors looked up from his work, anxious.
"Oh no." Blue Beetle grumbled.
They could all see it right before them, another Symbiote Bio-Dome was once more being formed nearby.
"Urgh, what do we do?" Batgirl asked. "We need to…?"
She looked back at Dr. Connors who shook his head.
"You have to stop that, trust me, I'll be fine." He said quickly. "Those people are depending on you."
"But Doc-" Speed Demon began as she turned to him.
Dr. Connors shook her head. "If you're worried, maybe one or two stay here, but the rest of you need to stop that before it's too late."
"Alright...um, who…?" Iron Man began, worriedly.
"We'll do it." Jonathan and Nancy both blurted out at the same time.
That was enough for the others and so they quickly headed out. While the rest would have to take the elevators down and grab their equipment outside, luckily the Avengers themselves quickly made their exit and began to hurry over at once. They had to act now to stop things from deteriorating further.
