-We will get the modes like the flying one and the blades one and then when Michi and Ares finally awaken the Quirk fully a new suit with powers even Senkutsu didn't have ;D

Chapter 18: The End of the Sports Festival

Formal tension filled the sports arena as the final fight between Michi and Shoto approached.

It promised to be a clash of titans.

Who would emerge victorious: the prodigy son of the number two hero or the girl with a unique and strong Quirk?

Shoto made his way over to the arena.

He hoped Massaro was fine and Recoryer Girl could help her. He hadn't stayed to listen to what his adversity and the school nurse had talked about.

So he was also surprised as he saw her approaching.

Everyone in the stadium gasped.

What had happened to Michi and Ares?

"What, what, what?", shouted Present Mic. "Do I see right or has Michi changed her outfit?!"

Surprised Ochaco turned to Izuku, pointing at Michi.

"Deku, why do Michi and Ares look so different? What happened?"

Before he could answer Denki and Mineta yelled: "Who cares?! She is hotter than before!"

"And look with what a sexy confidence she is walking!", added Denki.

The two pervs earned a tongue hit from Tsu (Mineta) and an earphone hit from Kyoka (Denki).

"I think I know what happened.", began Izuku slowly and a smile spread on his lips. "Michi and Ares must have finally reached Full Synchronization!"

"What does this mean?", asked Momo.

Anyone was curious and listened to Izuku explaining: "Ares and Michi seemed strong before, but they never were in synch. Often Ares sucked too much blood from Michi, which made her need a blood transfusion. Ares explained as long Michi couldn't accept her suit, in other words, her Quirk, they never would reach their full potential. The new suit shows they reached an agreement."

Everyone gasped in disbelief while Izuku smiled proudly.

He knows Michi could do it!

"Are you saying that the power Michi and Ares had before was nothing against now?", repeated Momo.

"That's hard to believe she defeated us in seconds.", agreed Mina sulking.

"Well against Todoroki.", mussed Ochaco and looked at her best friend. "It might be the best that they are now in harmony."

Meanwhile, Aizawa-Sensei's voice was heard from the speakers: "It's all correct. Recovery Girl is vouching for her. Michi and Ares had an evolution in their Quirk."

An excited whisper went through the crowd.

Quirk-Evolutions were the first steps to fully awaken the potential of their Quirk, that one student from the First Year had an evolution during the Sports Festival was incredible!

"Well, then congrats, Michi! But now we return to why we are here: the last battle of the U.A. High School sports festival! The top of the first years will be decided with this one match! The final, so to speak! From the hero course, Shoto Todoroki! Versus- Also from the hero course, Michela Massaro!"

The two opponents looked at each other.

"I'm glad you are fine and can fight.", told her Todoroki. "Congratulations to your Quirk-Evolution."

The girl smiles.

"Thanks, Todo- I mean Shoto-San. If you didn't help me before, I would probably still lying on the ground."

Shoto was surprised at how casually Michi called him now by his first name.

All in all, he could formally feel the power radiating from her and Ares together and the confidence.

He gave her a tiny nod.

"No problem Michela-San. Let's have an honourable match."

"Let's!"

Both got into their preferred fighting stages.

"Are you ready? Now- Start!", proclaimed Present Mic.

Not wasting any time Shoto starts the match with a focused version of his Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall attack. Michi punches to her best ability the ice away, however, she gets enclosed.

"Todoroki gets a blow in right away! Is he trying to avoid close combat with Massaro? Has the winner been decided already?!"

That's when all heard the ice screeching.

"Oh dear, what is that?!"

Unbelievable but a tornado drilled itself out of the ice!

When there was a large hole, the tornado stopped and you could see that Michi had created it!

She was on her hands, her legs spread apart and was twirling around.

Then she pushed herself with her arms high in the air, turned around and attacked Shoto with her Thread Storm.

Again Shoto shot his ice in large waves, but the threads were lick sharp knives and cut it.

"With ice alone, you will not get me!", shouted Michi.

She landed on the arena creating a huge crater on the impact, making Shoto lose his balance.

The girl used this chance to run up to him and attacked him with a series of punches and kicks.

Shoto had trouble blocking them with his ice.

As soon as he created a pillar, Michi destroyed it!

"Look at this speed! These two are not joking around!"

With a hard roundhouse kick, Michi destroyed a pillar on Shoto Fireside and got him!

He flowed away and only thanks to creating an ice wall he wasn't out of the ring.

"Come on, where is your fire!", challenged Michi. "You will never surpass me if you don't use it."

"Shit.", cursed Shoto quietly and touched his hurt cheek.

He could feel some loose teeth.

"If you refuse to fight with all of your power...then you don't deserve to win."

It happens all incredibly fast.

One moment Michi was meters away from Shoto, the next she is towering over him and delivers a hard sucker punch on his stomach!

The boy spits blood, his eyes roll back and he faints.

Michi steps back and turns to Midnight.

The Pro-hero blinked, she only saw a blur, before she looked at Shoto.

Yes, he was out cold.

"Shoto Todoroki can't fight anymore, the winner is Michela Massaro!"

The crowds go wild!

But not as wild as Izuku and Ochaco.

"She did it, she did it, she won!", cheered Ochaco, dancing around.

Izuku smiled so brightly that his cheeks hurt.

Of course, his Michi would win.

He never had any doubt.

"What a terrific final, ladies, gentlemen and everybody! And now, all of the events have been completed! The winner of this year's first-year U.A. sports festival is from Class A, Michela Massaro!"

Michi raised her hand in victory and smiled at the crowd.

It was incredible to be celebrated like this.

"Didn't I tell you," mused Ares. "What power lies in us when we work together."

"Yeah, you were right. Sorry for doubting you, Ares."

"It's okay, whirlwind."

The girl gave her suit's eye a little kiss, which made him blush.

"H-Hey, don't get soft on me!"

Michi just laughed.

Fireworks were exploding over them as all the First Years waited for the award ceremony.

"All of the first-year events for this year's U.A. sports festival have been completed. And now, we will begin the award ceremony!", declared Midnight.

More fireworks exploded in the air and behind midnight a stage with three different heights platform was raised.

Michi was on the highest with the one, the first place.

Shoto was the second highest among the two, the second place.

And finally Bakugo with a murderous face in third place.

"In addition to Bakugo, there is also Iida in third place, but he left early for family reasons.", explained Midnight. "Thank you for your understanding!"

Michi and Ares swore she winked at the reporters, Midnight had them really under her control.

Midnight announced who would give the medals to the winners, as All Might appeared and talked all over her.

They squabbled for a bit before All Might could finally do what he had to do.

Award the medals to the winners.

First, because he was in third place Bakugo got his medal.

The boy looked at it frowning.

"You did good young Bakugo. You gave good fights, don't forget it."

All Might hugged him, which made Bakugo just huff annoyed.

He didn't feel like he did something good and Massaro beat him again!

Then All Might turned to Shoto and gave him the medal of second place.

"Young Todoroki, congratulations. I assume there is a reason you did not use your left side in the final?"

"I had an opportunity during my match with Midoriya, but then I became unsure of myself.", admitted Shoto. "I think I understand a little of why you are interested in him. I wanted to become a hero like you. But I didn't think it would be right for me to be the only one to break away. There is still something I must settle."

The number one hero nodded and gave him a hug.

"The look on your face is completely different from before. I won't ask about the details. I'm sure that you will be able to do what you need to do."

"Yes."

Finally, All Might came to Michi and Ares.

"Young Massaro and Ares. First congratulations on your Quirk-Evolution, it's a big step to fully realize your Quirk."

"Thanks All Might.", they chorused happily.

"And second, I'm really proud of you two. You both showed in this tournament the definition of Plus Ultra! You have gone beyond your bonds and came out stronger."

"Thank you again All Might."

The blond Pro Hero then put the medal of first place on Michi and gave her also a hug. As only one Michi hugged him back.

"You will be one day an amazing hero, young Massaro, I just know."

"Thanks All Might, really."

They stopped their hug and All Might turned to the crowd of First Years.

"Well, they were the winners this time! But listen here! Anyone here could have ended up on these podiums. It's just as you saw- Competing! Improving each other! And climbing even further! The next generation of heroes is definitely sprouting! So, I have just one more thing to say! Everyone, please say it to me! Ready, go-"

"Thanks for your hard work! -"

"Plus Ultra!"

"What?! It should've been "Plus Ultra!" there, All Might!"

"Well, I thought everyone worked hard."

Class 1A was in their classroom with their teacher, as the sun slowly set.

All wore their school uniform and Ares was back as a Ribbon on Michi's head.

"Good work.", praised them Aizawa-Sensei. "So there will be no school tomorrow or the day after. I'm sure the pro heroes who watched the sports festival will want to recruit you, but we'll consolidate everything and announce it when you get back. So rest well, and look forward to that."

"Yes, sir!"

As Michi walked to the station with Ochaco and Izuku, they told her, why Tenya had to leave so early.

His older brother was injured by a villain, they didn't know the details, only that Igenium was to be operated.

Michi sent a prayer to God for Tenya and his family, that his brother would be alright.

When the three had to part ways Izuku and Ochaco told her again how amazing she was and how cool it was that she evolved her Quirk.

Of course, Michi kissed and hugged, careful in Izuku's case, her two cuties and earned again a cheek kiss from Izuku.

With the thought of getting three cheek kisses from Izuku and also being the winner of the Sports Festival, Michi entered her home, only to be stormed by her family.

Her mother and Obaa-Chan were crying, while her Papa and Jiji-Chan picked her up and made her make a winner round through the whole house.

The next couple of hours all her aunts and uncles and cousins from Italy called to congratulate her, so Michi couldn't check after her friends, especially Tenya.

Then her Papa made in celebration his famous Pizza Margherita for which Michi would kill.

The family ate and the girl and Ares had to tell them how they had experienced this day.

Her family only saw what happened on TV.

They were all so proud of her Quirk-Evolution.

It got so late, that Michi could only send good nights to her friends before she and Ares fell asleep like babies.

The next two days Michi visited Izuku and they both watched movies, played games and watched even one time with Inko the Sports Festival.

Man, was it weird seeing themselves on TV!

Anyway to two enjoyed their time together, even if Michi was scared if she cuddled Izuku she would hurt him and just be blissfully happy being in the presence of the one they loved most.

Michi helped Izuku even update all his Hero Notebooks and transformed him into her new suit.

"Ares Kamui! That has a nice ring on it.", told Izuku writing it down. "How did you come of Godrobe?"

"Ares already has the name of the Greek God of War so, I was like now we add something Japanese to it."

They both giggled, while Ares rolled his eyes.

We didn't know that after these two days, things would change.
