[ - Author's Note - ]

Hello, and welcome once more! I am once more surprised at how fast this story is getting a following, small as it is. Once more, I should add the AO3 version will have bits of clip art here and there to help give a few visuals. Of course, read your favorite version; the story is the same either way.

Please, drop a review and tell me what you think of it.

Oh and content warning for goblin rape.

[ - Act I - Chapter II: A Tale of Maidens - ]

Somewhere in Argon City...

"Excuse me!" A man heard as someone called out to him. Said man was an adventurer and had been for a full year now. Young with cheeks and chin loaded with stubble and wearing cheap, patched gambeson he turned to the woman that spoke to him. His hair, that he hadn't had a chance to wash for four days now, was pushed back as he ran a hand through it.

He noted the bathhouse needed a new customer that evening.

The woman was cleanly washed in comparison, with bright, blonde hair in a collection of drill like curls to her waist, blue eyes that were bright and innocent and a the prettiest face he'd ever seen! Hell, her dress was oddly covering for a woman, ending just past her rump. Her breasts were small, maybe B-Cup, and her dress' top only dipped down to show off a little sliver of her cleavage. White, thigh high stockings, ankle high tan boots and a pink bow on each side of her head over her ears. She looked innocent. Really, really innocent. An unsullied peach in a small city filled with lustful men filled with desire.

Hell she was making him feel lustful from her cloying appearance, but guilty of it since such a sweet looking, innocent girl should not be subjected to such lust. "Can I help you, lass?" He asked, curious as she smiled.

"You're an adventurer, right?" She asked. He nodded slightly. "I've heard a lot of goblins were around town."

"Er, yeah miss." The man said, grinning to her. "But don't you worry! Guild has been posting goblin jobs each week so far! We'll drive them out soon!" He boasted out to try and reassure her, pointing to himself with a thumb.

"Ah, y-y-yes, of course." She said. She looked bashful after his reply. Maybe he was too loud? "Er, where have they been seen?" She asked, making him blink. Why would such a sweet thing want to know that? "Err, I don't want to..., um well..."

"Ah, don't want to run into the damn, little beasties, huh?" He said, nodding as he frowned in thought, cupping a chin with a hand. That made sense. The things goblins would do to a woman like this...

He recalled stumbling over a pack raping a wolf bitch. He never thought he'd feel bad for a feral wolf, but those damned goblins pulled it off.

"Sorry miss." He finally said. "I wouldn't know myself, I've been on a few other jobs. I know that the young lordling of Noxdecus ran into them a couple of times, he'd have a better idea then me." She smiled softly and bowed (With a small crash behind her, caused by pink, fully covering, lacy panties being seen by a young man) and spoke.

"Thank you sir." She said with a chirp in her voice.

He felt a bit better; in some small way he had helped such a sweet cherub. "No worries. Well then! I'm off to work." He said turning.

He missed the girls set a hand to her chest, biting her lower lip as she blushed deeper. She lightly said one thing under her breath.

"Goblins..."

I groaned as I started to awaken. It was a weird dream I had; my old world's family and my new world's family were having a big turkey dinner. Saxon and my former uncle Donald were playing an intense game of Street Fighter, both fathers playing chess... It was kinda surreal, if I was to be honest. I gave a groan as the dream turned to a haze slowly moving from the land of imagination and subconscious memories into the waking world. I was in my new room and on my bed, blinking up to the skylight as I felt a pleasant pressure on my cock. Finally I looked down, my eyes meeting mismatched ones.

Miria was sucking my cock, kneeling down with her hands on my thighs as she bobbed her head up and down; as if doing push ups as she gave head. Her ass was stuck up and I could see those delightful curves as her tail swished back and forth over her. I groaned deeper as I shifted under her and her pleasure. "Fuck, that's a hell of a wake-up call." She giggled around my cock, not saying nothing as she just worked.

Her tongue was dragging up and down the bottom of my shaft, groaning deeper from her lips as a hand moved to pet her head, her soft mewling a reply, my hips rocking slowly. Fully awake now I knew it wouldn't be long before I blew a load up into her lips, and then she purred loudly into my cock hard.

Fuck, that made my whole cock vibrate in the most pleasant way. My dick tapped out from that, balls squeezing down. I held back a moment more but I started to shoot cum right up into her waiting mouth, spurt after spurt launching up into her throat. She moaned in reply as she swallowed, a long drip of white escaping her lips and dribbling down the side of my cock. She slurped a bit softer before pulling off, swallowing once last time (Tilting her head back as she did so to make a show of it) and crawled over me until her pussy was pressed to my cock's underside as she straddled me and sat down. "Where... Did you learn that?" I panted out, hand moving to her hips, slowly rubbing her before sliding them up to cup her breasts softly, thumbs pressing down on her nipples. She giggled down to me, rocking her hips side to side.

"He he he, I had a nice time with a banana as I practiced what I overheard a few girls in the bathhouse mention." She replied softly. "Besides, Catalan's can get into a little bit of heat, you know? It's not intolerable, but it's an itch that I need scratched." She said, reaching down and tapping my cock's tip, making me groan as her finger tip ground down into it. "And this is great at scratching an itch."

"You'd know about scratching, huh?" She gave a playful hiss to me before smirking and sliding her hips forwards and off my cock before her tail moved down. I sucked in a breath; her tail softly pushed down on my cock to keep it from lifting too much. I squeezed her breasts as she pushed her hips back, my cock finding her womanhood with ease as she pushed back more making me enter her. Her tail moved away as her hands set to my chest. My hands moved to her hips as we looked to the eyes of the other. She started to move her hips, moaning out. Unlike the bestial fucking from last night we were fucking slower and more sensually; this was not about raw desire and pleasure but a want of closeness and intimacy.

Neither of us had an issue with that as I held still, letting her control the pace as we relaxed and enjoyed each other; me enjoying the tightness of a pussy's pussy, her enjoying my dick filling her up. I groaned under her, shivering a bit as her insides squeezed on me. She moaned as my dick scraped a spot inside of her. It was slow, gentle sex, just two young adults enjoying some soft, sensual passion.

So it was the perfect time for the door to open wide and someone to walk in. "Mi'lord, Miss Kara is here with..." She let off as the two of us stiffened her words pausing mid-sentence.

I looked around Miria and said cat girl turned her head to look to the door. Sora had a perfect view of us from behind, my dick up in Miria's sex clear as day to her. Any attempt to say 'It's not what it looks like!' would fail due to the fact that Sora wasn't blind as a bat.

Fun fact; most bat's aren't blind. The more you know.

Sora examined the situation for a long moment before coughing into a hand. "Miss Kara is here to commission you for a new job, Mi'lord. I shall let her know you'll be meeting her in fifteen minutes." She said before stepping back and shutting the door. I looked up to Miria.

Miria looked down to me.

I spoke first. "Fifteen minutes?"

"Fifteen minutes." She replied.

Gentle sex ended. Fucking ensued.

One hard fuck, a dumping of cum into a womb and a brief clean up later I dressed and met with Kara in full uniform (Well I'd call it a partial uniform but in this world it was a full one) and she explained the situation to me. Albert, the weapon's shop owner and blacksmith in his own right, had bought a collection of weapons. Said weapons were found in the cellar of an old, veteran adventurer who was famous for his various tall tales and had died not long ago of old age. His sons and daughter were selling the house he lived in; both sons were leaving Argon for other pastures, the daughter was already wed and had moved in with her husband years ago. While checking over the property they found all the arms; a collection of swords, spears, axes and more. Even a flintlock rifle, by all accounts, if a broken one.

Albert had taken a sword to his anvil and started to inspect it to see what repairs needed to be done when the sword lit itself on fire and by her account spooked the crap out of him. Thankfully he was in the forge at the time, so a sword lighting up like a flamethrower meant that it caused very little damage. Well, maybe some damage to his pride. Regardless, it was clear that at least some of the weapons were enchanted and without knowing what was and what wasn't enchanted and of those that were what they did he couldn't do anything with them. He needed them looked at and appraised.

Since Kara knew I could handle it she set off for the manor and asked to speak with me directly. I accepted the job and invited her to stay for breakfast. And thus Kara joined us for a meal that was normal for the most part. Save one small detail I noticed. Well, two details really.

Miria's waffles had an extra coating of whipped cream on the top; almost half as much as normal added to it. My waffles, by contrast, had the normal amount of cream on it but was topped by a cherry.

A glance to Sora gave me a soft, tiny smirk and wink in response from her. Apparently a woman that was closing in on a century of living with well over half that as a maid meant one had a wicked and subtle sense of humor when it came to trolling.

I would accompany Kara to the Elegant Iron once breakfast was done. Albert was glad to see me once I had arrived and I set to work. As it turns out each and every weapon had some kind of enchantment on it. The bulk of them were low end enchantments, mind you. Reinforced steel, spells that would leave blades always sharp, things like that. A few, however, were real gems.

The aforementioned blazing sword, aka The Burning Sword. Frost Chill, a sword that sucked the heat from people it hit. Earth Shaker; a large war hammer with a spell that adjusted it's weight; lighter while being carried or swung and much, much heavier on impact.

I told Albert that he should test that one outside of town on a rock. He decided to test it there and then on his anvil.

He no longer has an anvil, but three parts of an anvil and a large crack in the floor. I took advantage of the situation to say 'I told you so'. I never get enough chances like that.

Kara had stayed with us, helping us note what did what and writing them down on a sheet of paper. I purposely ignored a rapier in the pile of weapons until last, however. I didn't know what it did yet, but I would at the end of it all. Bit by bit we got each one appraised and given Albert's expression he made out like a bandit. He must have bought them in bulk and haggled the prices down a bit and expected to sell them for a fair but cheaper price. But with all having some form of enchantment, even if a weak one, that meant he could sell them for a lot more then he thought.

Finally I got to the rapier and drew it from it's sheath. It was magical; I knew it as soon as I drew it. [Appraise.] I started to scan it, humming to myself. I blinked then used observe to double check my findings.

(-)

Name: Unicorn's Horn

Type: Rapier - Enchanted

Stats: +1 Mag, +5 Mnc

Damage Bonuses: +12 Peircing, +3 Slashing

Buy Value: 60 Gold, 5 Silver

Sell Value: 20 Gold

Once used by the granddaughter of Annabelle of the Runes, Paula Ann the Steel Spell, the blade would be used by several wielders before being lost in the first war versus Garan.

When in use the gem grants the user +15% mana regeneration. The weapon is 150% more resistant to damage and wear.

(-)

The blade was what you'd expect of a rapier; thin and going down to a point, but had etching that made it look like a spiraled horn. The D-Guard had the shape like a Horse's head sticking from it with the mane flowing about the side to further guard the hand. The handle was wrapped in a blue colored cloth. The most important part of it was a clear, pristine gem at the bottom of the pommel. It almost looked fake given how clear it was. I held the blade upside down and channeled arcane magic into it the gem glowing a bright silver in response. When I switched to fire magic the light turned red and flames lashed out from it.

"My word, what a blade!" Albert let off as I chuckled. I then explained what the blade did. It was well out of my price range but perhaps...

"Well, how much would you sell the piece for?" I asked, curious. He hummed a bit looking it over for a moment.

"Well... I would say, normally, I'd sell it for forty gold or so... But perhaps I can part with it in lieu of payment, lieu of payment next time I need an appraisal... And an apology for, err, not taking your word either." He said looking back to his smashed anvil. I did warn him about that, after all.

Regardless, the job would have paid five gold so this and another job of equal size would be ten gold. I was underpaying for the rapier if you looked at it like that, but I knew he had the better part of four platinum and change in magical weapons here; he could afford it.

"I'll consider it a tip for a job well done then." I said as I sheathed the weapon and smiled. "You know, House Noxdecus was said to be founded by a descendant of Annabelle. I wonder if my old man would have more to say about it?"

"It wouldn't surprise me." Kara said, hands folded in her lap now as she stood. She had the sheet with the list of effects of all the weapons in her hands still. "Even if that connection is false the Noxdecus house has been around since the founding of Ur itself. Given the house's animal is the unicorn it could be related to your house somewhat."

"Either way, I've a lot of work ahead of me." Albert said, chuckling as he looked at the other weapons, laid out on his table. "So then I'll let you two see yourselves out. I've a bit of research to do on these weapons as well, some of them have peaked my interest!" He said, pointing up with a finger.

"We'll leave you to it then."

[-]

"That was lucky of you!" Kara let off as I set my new rapier to my hip. I made a note to ask my (New) old man about it later. It felt like one of those Isekai genre stories. Which was fitting, now that I thought of it, I kinda was. It was like someone was trying to send good luck my way or something. Whatever. I still had no real sense of scaling here, of course. Did I have a good magical weapon for a level four character? A great one? Over powered?

As a comparison my starting rapier was plus five piercing and one slashing, so the new weapon was more then double what I had to start with on that alone. The magical bonuses though were perfect for me. "It was. And Albert is a good guy, nice to be able to help him out." As a side note, seven Universal Trait Points were earned. I had plans for that, of course.

"Excuse me!" I heard and turned to face... Well, compared to every other woman I met, a blonde girl with drill curled hair who was dressed rather normally. Tiny skirt, but otherwise normal. Well, by my standards, anyway. She had this really, really innocent aura around her. I rested my left wrist on my new blade's handle as I looked at her.

"Can we help you?" I asked, Kara standing to my right. This girl didn't seem like she was in trouble or the like, so I was curious why she was looking to me like she needed help.

"You're the young Mi'lord of Noxdecus, right?" She said. I nodded, curious to where this was going. "I was told you've fought some goblins over the last while. Where did you, if I may ask?"

"Well..." I rubbed the back of my head. Odd question, but whatever. If nothing else knowing where goblins were meant you could avoid them easier. "The bridge outside of town, to the south was the first spot. That was a week ago. And in some old mines to the northwest yesterday. Just... Don't ask about that." I said shivering a bit. "Kara here, though, is with the local Guild; she'd know more seeing as she has to put up all the jobs with goblins up on the wall."

"Oh yes." Kara said with a shiver. "They're mostly off to the north and west, but the odd one's been seen to the south as well. The east is mostly clear of them, so that should be safe, ah, Miss...?"

Daughter of a notable merchant, she is well known for being pretty and sweet. Her mother has raised her on various horror stories about what the aberrant races do to women, especially goblins.

(-)

Well, that made sense why she'd want to avoid goblins. But two things stood out as odd to me; her 'Lustful' status and her oddly high corruption rating. I don't think I've seen a girl with a corruption rating over fifteen until now. Something was up with this chick, and I had no idea what it was.

"Sue Sue! Call me Sue Sue! Or just Sue." She said, giggling to us cutely. "Thank you, both of you! I'm off now!" She said, walking away a bit, only to turn, wave to us and skip away.

"What a weird girl." Kara said, tilting her head to one side.

"Tell me about it."

I had gotten home after the job, got changed but kept the Unicorn's Horn on me as I went to the library. Normally if I wanted to talk weapons Gregory was the go to, or maybe my mother given the sword in question, but Merlin was the intellectual of the family. I think he'd have a better idea of what I had. Slightly down the stairs once I was in the library was a circular spot with tables. Sure enough, he was there with Aeris, chatting over a spell book. Both were seated and I waved as they saw me. "I found a sword you might want to look at dad." I said as Aeris rolled her eyes.

"James, we're mages, not warriors. Why bring a sword to us?" Aeris said, sounding bored. I then set the rapier, sheathe and all, on the table my dad's eyes widening.

"Well, well, well..." He said, picking it up and smiling at it. "The Unicorn's Horn. Where did you find this?" Aeris looked to him, surprised at his response. I gave the quick run down of the job and how I got it from Albert. He nodded and chuckled. "Heh. This sword has been lost for so long now. This was the blade once used... By Annabelle of the Runes herself."

"Wait, wait, wait..." Aeris said, waving her hand. "I thought she used the blade Rune Weaver for her main weapon!" Merlin nodded for a moment, stroking his chin as he smiled, holding the weapon in his hands.

"Indeed. But tell me, when did the Legendary Shield Maidens found the kingdoms?" He asked her as she gave a blank look for a moment. I recalled that the tale was more important to humans then elves, but there were more then a few elves in Eostia so I was surprised she didn't know.

"Some two thousand years ago." I answered for her. My father nodded once.

"And that era was called?" I drew a blank now, but Aeris eyes widened.

"The First Age of Magic!" She answered. My father nodded and swapped to lecture mode.

"Indeed. Magic was, in fact, known and used before then but the First Age was when it was really examined and started to be understood. It was late into the era that their story came to be, and when they learned the secrets of enchanting objects. The Unicorn's Horn was among the first of these weapons to be made. And when her daughter helped found House Noxdecus with her future husband they bore a daughter to which Annabelle gifted the Unicorn's Horn. By then the Rune Weaver was in her hands." He said, passing the blade back to me.

...

Wait.

"Are you saying I bought a two thousand year old sword?" I asked him as he ginned and nodded. "...Doesn't look a day over two hundred."

"Annabelle and her fellow magic pioneers made a lot of advancements in magic we still use today. Enchantment, as mentioned, came before their time but they forged the first Legendary Weapons, most notably the Aegis of the First Dragon. They also forged the first Mana Armors. In fact, as I recall my dear Saxon's armor was in the family from that age as well. Compared to what we what we cam make now those mana armors are basic, but still surprisingly capable."

Okay, Mana Armor? That was new. [Glossary, Mana Armor. I need to know this.]

I got an image before me of an armor that was weird. Normal gauntlets and greaves but the top was like four fingers of a hand, the top two over the shoulders to which the pauldrons attached to. The other two wrapped about down and around to cover where the chest, or rather breasts, would be with a strip. The bottom half was more like three fingers, two wrapping about the hips, the other down and curving up, likely along the crack of the ass to cover the pussy. Chafe warning I'd say. It looked silly.

Then I read the information.

(-)

Armor Type: Mana Armor

Slashing Resistance: High to Very High

Piercing Resistance: High to Very High

Blunt Resistance: High to Very High

Magical Resistance: High

Weight: Minute to Light

Agility Penalty: None

Other Bonuses: Varies

The first Mana Armor was made by the Seven Legendary Shield Maidens, most notably forged by Welsh the Mighty Smith and enchanted by Annabelle of the Runes, Casta of the Burning Will and Joanna of the White Cloth. The metal used is mithril smelted with powered mana and powdered spell crystal in a specific mix. This armor then sets a heavy amount of mana into it with a specific enchantment.

Mana Armor projects a magical shield over the wearer and will recharge it's stores of mana from magic in the air. It's resistances are, on the lower end, as effective as plate armor. Unlike full plate, however, Mana Armor allows skin to breath and the user to sweat to cool them down in battle. This is due to the fact that the expense of the materials and difficulty of enchantment makes even a simple set of mana armor very expensive. Too much additional covering could disrupt the Mana Armor's shield, so most users will bare most of their bodies.

As a result most Mana Armors made after the Second Age of Magic can regulate the temperature of the wearer. Mana Armor is rare and is only heavily used by elite organizations, such as the Dawn Templars.

(-)

Holy fucking shit! Who knew that all of this bikini armor was that powerful!? Plate Armor levels of defense, plus lightweight, plus magic resistance! That was insane! Really, being half naked was the only downside!

I could see why women would be willing to wear next to nothing on a battlefield now. My father continued to speak after I learned that nugget of information.

"It was in this era that the most notable Legendary Weapons were made. Not just Rune Weaver, but also Sun Singer, The Wasps of Steel and of course what gave those heroes the name of the Shield Maidens, the Aegis of the First Dragon." I nodded to him. I knew a bit about it, it was also called the Dragon's Aegis for short.

"Never really read the story." Aeris said, leaning back in her seat, hands moving to the back of her head. That position pushed her breasts out in a most enticing manner.

Fuck, I was sleeping around too much. I could almost see 'XP' over her tits now.

"Really? I'd recommend it. Sadly, so few read the tale." He said sadly, shaking his head.

"Well how about the short version?" I said, his head turning to me. "The major points should do, right?"

"Indeed." He said, clapping his hands together as I moved to sit down. "Well, stay awhile and listen. I'll tell you the tale as it's told..."

[-]

Outside of Argon City...

"Wait! Wait!" A girl ran, the voice behind her calling out to her. It was that same voice of that same thing that kept finding her. Each time she left the city to visit her grandmother's house it found her. And it would chase her.

"Wait! Don't run!" It called out. It never caught her at least. Was she too fast? Was it too slow? It was hard to say...

It never came close to the small farming village at the forest's edge, however so she was safe as soon as she passed the first house.

Unseen the figure frowned but turned back the way it came.

The tale of the Seven Shield Maidens starts well, well before they were born. Back in what was called the Age of Giants, the first age known to mortal man.

So little is known of this era. When it started. When it ended. All that are known to us are tales passed down mouth to mouth. Some tales conflict with others, but this is the most agreed upon one.

Bahamut, King of Dragons ruled the west. Dagon, King of Demons ruled the east. Cronus of the Titans ruled the north. And finally Barkan, the King of Jinn in the south. They quarreled and ruled for untold mounts of time. It's said they lived for an eon as they fought. But finally something new came about.

The races of man. Human. Halfling. Elf. Catalan. They say even the Dark Elves came about in this time as well, although given how reclusive they were it's hard to say. Others say they were formed from corrupted elves or elves who immigrated and changed somehow, others from the corpse of a dead titan, but that's another tale.

When these races emerged the giants about them all had a different reaction. The Jinn saw a new toy to torment. The Titans cared not and ignored them, not caring if they stomped through their villages or not. The demons saw them as pests to be destroyed, as if they were but fleas. But the dragons...

The dragons saw life. Saw thought. Bahamut saw a race with the right to live. And when the next war came it was the dragons who would fight for humanity. Some, it was said, would even lay with races of men to give birth to the Dragon Borne.

How the wars and battles fared isn't known, but by the end of the Age of Giants the four great races were dead or dying. The last two to fight was Bahamut and Dagon. Claw to claw, fang to fang they warred. Finally Bahamut was struck down with a mortal blow... But not before the Dragon King set a curse to Demon King. With his last breaths Bahamut sealed Dagon away.

Dagon's strength was sapped from him and trapped alone he suffered. Each day more strength was sapped. Each day more suffering came. Dagon could do naught but endure the pain. Day by day, month by month and year by year he suffered. For how long is not known. Centuries? Millennia? Eons? No mortal knows the true answer.

Dagon would not be found until the late stages of the First Age of Magic. The aberrant were waging war on humanity, forming the Legion for the first time and mercenaries started to rise to fend them off for coin. Then came one of the strongest of the mercenary warlords, Verlangen. And Verlangen suffered from a common problem all races of man had; a lust for power. And he chased old rumors, legends and tales to find it. And he would, in the form of Dagon.

The time had worn on the once, proud Demon King. Seeing the human come to him in his once sealed cave he only wanted one thing; an end. The human had no way to kill him by himself so Dagon directed him to the place Bahamut broke his fang in their last fight and bade Verlangen to find it and forge from it a sword.

Three years later Verlangen would return, dragon fang's sword in hand. Dagon's end was close... But Verlangen would not let him have it without a price. Dagon asked the human what he wanted and the warlord asked for three things.

The might of a demon.

To never be harmed by a man of woman born.

To never age or die so long as he drew breath.

With the last of his might Dagon tore off his finger and from it made three things. From bone, a pill to eat and give him his protection. From his nail a powder to breathe and give him immortality and from the finger a chalice. Dagon told him any wine poured into it would become a demon's blood and drinking it would give him the might he sought.

Verlangen took all three. He breathed the powder. He swallowed the pill. And he drank the wine turned to blood. As his skin turned black and his eyes red he finally gave Dagon what he wanted; death.

Now calling himself Gottes Verlangen he would untie men under him, mostly the mercenaries. And once his army was ready he tore through the lands in a rampage of conquest. Aberrant, man, it mattered not. He killed all in his way. He began to pillage, raze, rape and slay his way as he formed his Bloody Empire. His empire would last for a hundred years as he lorded over the land by the sword and fear. Finally the first Maiden to stand up to him would appear.

Joanna Daisyfield, now known as Joanna of the White Cloth. As a teenager she would stand up to him as he came to pillage her village and challenged him. Amused he let her fight him, but won with ease and then claimed her body as a prize, raping her before her village. And then let his men use her. And then forced the men of the village to use her. Thinking she was broken he left her body on the muddy ground and left.

She did not break. She would stand and vow she would defeat the emperor. But now she knew how difficult a thing it would be.

This is the longest part of the Legend of the Seven Shield Maidens, but in short she trained and went about to undermine Verlangen however she could. It was then she met Deborah the Daring, a rebel in her own right. Joining forces the two would save a sorceress, Casta of the Burning Will. The three would find trouble fighting a lieutenant of Verlangen but would be rescued by Annabelle of the Runes.

It was then they learned of the secrets of Verlangen's power, overhearing the man boast to his most loyal aide. Seeking a means to defeat him they chased the same rumors Verlangen once did and stumbled over Sheila, the Huntress of the Wilds. She knew of the places they wanted to find, but first needed to find a friend. In doing so they would find Sulla the Fox's Foot. Lastly they would help save a town from Verlangen's forces and would be joined by a weapon's smith, Welsh the Mighty Smith.

Seven now together they would chase the rumors and find something amazing; the last of the dragons. Speaking with them they told them of their plight. The dragons were in no shape to wage war save for one of the smaller, less scarred ones. What they did instead was share with them the secrets of smelting mithril and adding spell crystal to it. From it the dragons bade them make two things. A suit of armor and a shield. And for the shield they could add one thing; scales of the fallen Bahamut himself.

The shield was made first and would become the Aegis of the First Dragon. However they noticed that with the enhanced mithril they had left one suit of armor would be all they could make, and not even a full suit. It was then Annabelle came up with an idea; using the magical properties of the metal to create armors of mana over the body. Doing so would let them make seven suits of armor and allow all seven of them to fight Verlangen together.

On the fields of what is now Arndale in Ken they would confront the man side by side, Joanna bearing the Dragon's Shield and her mace, Silver Justice. From their deeds five thousand rebels and their dragon ally rose up to stand behind them to face Verlangen and eight thousand of his men. The Battle of Arndale would last for hours, and the dragon would die in this fight. In the end Joanna's fellow Shield Maidens helped to open the path and allowed Joanna to face Verlangen one on one once more. But this time the two were evenly matched in combat.

Some say the fight lasted for hours, but records say it was more along the lines of ten minutes. But in the heat of battle seconds can feel like days. In the end she smashed Verlangen to the ground and defeated him. Their master falling his men retreated and fled in fear. The rest of the empire fell to the rebellions. They had won.

Knowing that arms and magic could not kill him they bound Verlangen in chain, imprisoned him in a metal casket, sealed it and poured sand into it until it overflowed. It was believed that as he could no breathe he would now die. His reign of terror now over forever they buried the casket as far north as they could reach and returned as heroes.

Each would then found a kingdom. Joanna would found Ken. Annabelle would found Ur. Deborah would found Feoh. Sheila would create Geofu. Welsh would make Ansur and Sulla would create Thorn. Lastly Casta would create Rad. Joanna would bring the others together in an alliance to ensure no more warlords could conquer the land in an alliance of Shields. In time surrounding provinces would join the kingdoms and crate a foundation for peace.

"Of course..." Merlin said as he stopped pacing to turn to us, stroking his chin. "All of this information is two thousand years old. How accurate it is is rather hard to say." He said, chuckling softly. "And I'm sure a lot of it is embellished." He finally sat down across from me and next to Aeris with a sigh. "But we do know they existed and stopped Verlangen. A dragon fought with them, but his name was lost to time."

"That is quite the story." Aeris said, smiling warmly "I have to admit, it is inspiring to hear of how a girl could go from such a horrible rape and become one of the world's greatest figures."

"Indeed." Merlin said, nodding. "They say that Joanna's rape was removed from the early tales but the woman herself forced them back in; she wanted others to know the tale as it was, warts and all. Even if others thought less of it she wanted it known."

"I can respect that." I said finally standing up to stretch. "Ahh. Hey, thanks for the history lesson, Dad."

"Thanks for letting me yammer on about it all. Really though, what I told you is a highly compressed version. The full tale is much, much longer."

"Maybe I'll track it down later." Aeris said, standing as well. "As of now, however I feel a need to write to my mother. If I may be excused?"

"Of course." My father said as I also took my leave. I had things to think about.

As I left I wondered if the Seven Maidens were why every woman was half naked here. I mean if those were the strongest women in history I could see others wanting to be like them. Emulating the look of mana armor would be something some people would do. And after long enough no one remembers why women dress like that, they would just accept it.

I could see that. It also explained why someone like mom would charge into battle nearly nude and not worry; they had the best armor around; even if it didn't look like that.

[-]

"I'm bored..." Aeris let off to me as I looked over to her. It was nine days after dad's story time and we were reading at the library. I earned a lot of Trait Points of all kinds over that period, although only a few stat points. I had sex with Miria once a night, plus a few bits with Riri and Sora. As well as Riri and Sora together, once. Other jobs earned some coin, but mostly focused on the xp. I was close to level five now, which was an important benchmark. I looked away from her as I thought for a moment.

In the menu Class was locked until I hit Level Five. I didn't know what it was hiding, but the sooner I knew the better. If I could play around with it to my benefit then sooner the better. Anyway, for ten sexual and five universal trait points I grabbed Lady Luck's Lover. That alone raised my luck from fourteen to twenty. And I haven't spent any other stat points yet. I was putting that off for a bit, trying to feel what I'd need now and what I'd need later. I was still using universal stat points for regular stats rather then sexual ones, but the sexual ones were becoming more important as well.

As for skills I practiced what I had, but picked up an ice spell to help deal with future slimes; Arctic Orb. In short, an ice based version of fireball, but with less boom and more chill. Slimes being mostly liquid were weak to two things in general, lightning and ice. The former messes up their magic and makes them loose cohesion. The latter freezes their liquid and both slows them down and can make them easy targets. I choose Arctic Orb over a lightning spell since it would give me a spell I could use indoors or in caves without risking something collapsing or lighting on fire.

If I was going to get covered in goblin semen then I was learning a lesson from it, god damn it! I turned my head back to after a moment to look at Aeris once more who was laying the table, arms splayed as she looked at me as if expecting me to do something. "Unless this is followed with some sort of offer involving a bed, you'll have to explain what you want." I teased as I looked back at my book. It was about scrying.

I was sure this was going to be a useful ability when I picked my class, so I needed to know more. The basics were simple; you could use the spell to see anywhere and anything. If imbued into an object others could see what you were looking at as well. How much mana it cost depended on distance; the further the more it drained. I could see anywhere in Mungale, for example, with ease but if I looked over to Ur it was a noticeable drain. Geofu was a heavy drain as well. Ken was beyond my ability to see.

Second was that some places had enchantments to block scrying. I could see into most houses and buildings in Argon, for example, but I couldn't see into the Adventurer's Guild, the Town Hall, the Magic Academy and the bathhouse.

No I wasn't peeking, I just wanted to know if they thought of that. I was glad someone did.

Noxdecus Manor was, of course, shielded but these shields were one way. I could scry while inside the manor, and even look about the manor if I pleased...

I did so in time to see a horse tug Serra's dress up. Dat ass.

On the other hand scrying from outside the manor to the inside wasn't possible. Out of curiosity I tried something. I found a pair of small, low quality spell gem and imbued a custom spell on them it based on scry. Once done I found that as long as I targeted one gem with the other gem I could bypass the shield, at least around the other gem. I mentioned it to my father who was surprised. No one had, it seemed, came up with that idea before. I wasn't sure how... Although the spell was... complex.

It was hard to put into words, but spells were like programming some sort of computer code or HTML. I wasn't an expert in either, but I taught myself to use Excel and made HTML profile codes for people on an adult chat site for some extra money back in the day, so I knew a little bit. I wouldn't say I was awesome at it, just decent. And with that basic know how I made a spell no one else had thought of; I was told I had made spell commands that were brand new.

It kinda scared me how utterly broken the Imbue spell would be in the hands of a master hacker or programmer. Someone like that could make this world into a paradise or a hell with that kind of ability.

Anyway, he mentioned at how this could be used by intelligence forces but rather then press me into making magical spy gear he told me to refine my spell making, giving me a knowing smirk. I was on to something and he knew it. I was surprised at what I was onto as well; I didn't think I had stumbled onto that but I decided to make time to see what else I could do with this. I had ideas.

Aeris groaned, her foot tapping the ground hard, pouting at me. She was not happy I was still reading and ignoring her.

The ability to spy was cool but I had something else in mind. Finally a hand slammed my book onto the table as I turned my head to a view of luscious, supple elven breasts. I then looked up to a pair of blue eyes and a pouting, elven face. "We should go do something!"

"Like?" I replied, leaning back.

"I don't know! Play music or something!" She huffed, hands on her hips now. I sighed and thought. It was late in the morning, so I could go get a job at the guild. And I could bring Aeris with me. That was something, right? And I could get the last bit of xp I needed. I shared my idea and she blinked. "I'm not with the guild." She said as she crossed her arms.

"You can join. There's no minimum amount of jobs you have to take, just as many as you want." I said as I stood up. "Besides, you could put that magic of yours to good use."

"Hmmm..." She said, stroking her chin with a hand.

"And earn money."

"Sold!"

While Aeris talked with Kara to get signed up I read the board for two people jobs. I dismissed a few off of hand; I don't think that elf wanted to play babysitter to a group of brats so they could go swimming in the river.

Shame; good amount of trait points on that one.

Dismissing other such jobs offers I picked one up. Well, two of each trait points, decent xp (Enough to get me to level five for sure) and decent pay, all in all. A full gold was a bit much for a simple job, but it was the description that made me take it. The image sketched on it was that of a goblin in a cloak.

Required: Group of Two or Larger

Expected Threat Level: D+ to C

Description: A local girl has been stalked outside of the city walls by a goblin when she's visiting her grandmother's house. Reasons unknown, but nothing good is expected. Unknown if the goblin has accomplices; expect possible back up as goblins rarely travel alone.

Objectives are to investigate the goblin in question and, if possible, eliminate it. Two silver bonus for the death of the goblin.

PS; girl's father is the client. Very insistent on the goblin dying.

Reward: 2 Gold.

Bonus if Goblin Dies: 2 Silver

"And there you go!" Kara let off as I took the sheet up to the desk. Aeris held up her new guild card; it was made of a stiff copper plate with ink on it. The ink was magicked so the ink would stay put and not rub off. There was no real ranking system, so a newbie could pick any job. Of course they were all warned of the risks, so if they didn't come back, well, you know...

"Kara, what's the story with this job?" I said, holding the sheet up before laying it on the desk. Aeris read it over until she reached the end, eyebrows rising up.

"Yes, it's strange." Kara said, a confused look on her face. "According to the girl every time she heads out to go to her grandmother's a goblin accosts her, no matter when she leaves or what gate. Never catches her, but it always chases after her."

"Is she fit?" I asked, blinking at her. Kara shook her head.

"Why does that matter?" Aeris asked, crossing her arms. Her staff was floating behind her, bobbing up and down softly.

"Damn things are stronger then they look and lighter then a human. That means those little bastards can sprint like a devil." I explained to her. "A normal girl would be overrun in a minute." Aeris frowned cupping her chin.

"The father thinks the goblin just wants to rape her, but I have to admit, it doesn't feel like it." Kara said. "My gut says something's off with this one. I just put it on the board this morning; this has been going on for four days, I'm told."

"We'll take it." Aeris said, tapping the sheet. Kara nodded and got to work, keeping records.

"Right. Let's meet the client then." I let off.

Born to a weaver and a tailor, she was born to a very overprotective father. Wondering why her father didn't like her with boys she asked around and, at a young age, enjoyed the answer. She has twenty three special friends.

(-)

She also had dark, brown hair, but hers was pulled back into a pair of braided twin tails. Freckles dotted her face and she had bright blue eyes. A white blouse hugged her C-Cup Breasts and displayed cleavage to my eyes. A red vest/corset hybrid around her midsection and a short, green skirt with a tan apron over the front with a floral design on it. Red shoes on her feet capped the look.

Also, what did it mean by 'special' friends? Did I want to know? Because I had one guess, given this world.

"Anyway..." I said, waving my hand to get their attention. "If I can ask, when are you going to your grandmother's house next?"

"Today. A few moments, really." The father snorted as Julie spoke. "Father can't make the trek usually, not easily. His leg won't let-"

"I'll be coming with you! I'll see that goblin dead myself." He said, sighing. "...Is what I want to do, but my damn leg won't let me." I nodded as I pulled out a cloth.

"It's fine. We'll be taking care of this. Julie, I want you to carry this." I said Julie blinking as Brent frowned deeper. "It has a tracking spell on it. As long as you hang onto it I can follow you. Here's what I want you do to. I want you to walk to your grandmother's house. We'll keep some distance and follow." I explained. "When the goblin finds you I want you to stop and confront it. I'll feel the cloth stop moving and then we'll know to rush to your side."

"Yeah, and we'll get that goblin." Aeris said as I nodded. "If you feel in danger scream then run." She added as she nodded. This should be an easy job, right?

Right?

[-]

"You don't have to be so close." I could feel Brent's breath on the back of my neck making me shiver a bit as he followed us, heavily leaning on his cane.

"This is my daughter, boy." He growled out. Aeris gave me a sad look as we walked along as I focused on the cloth. Julie was still walking along head of us; maybe a quarter of a mile ahead of us. There was forest was to our left, plains to our right. I sighed, resisting the urge to turn on the man.

"Look, I get it. But breathing down my neck isn't making the situation any better." I reply. I focused on the cloth, feeling it move ahead of us at a steady pace. I tried to ignore him taking a few, quick steps forwards to keep my neck from being breathed on by an old, bearded man.

I could feel it return a moment later. Aeris sighed rolling her eyes as she facepalmed. "I sighed up for this?" She let off. I could understand her right now.

I stiffened, making the man bump into my back and making him stumble back. I didn't feel bad about that. "She's stopped moving, let's go!"

I dashed forwards, Aeris following me as she floated over the ground. Brent called out as he hobbled after us. I could feel Julie step backwards towards us, so I knew the goblin was there. I just ran to get to her.

It wasn't long before I saw her, still stepping back. "Julie, down!" I let off leaping upwards with Levitation as I quick charged a spell, the girl ducking down. I sent out a Scatter Bolt; it was weak and sent the missiles in an arc around the front of Julie, aiming to make the goblin back away from her as opposed to causing any damage.

Said goblin was dressed weird but I ignored it for the moment. He shrieked and leaned back, dropping something to the ground behind him. I landed on my feet aiming a Magic Missile and blasting at him, curving it to avoid Julie. He shrieked once more and ducked under it before he tried to run to the trees only to have a stronger Scatter Bolt line the ground between him and it, fired off by Aeris. I then saw what the goblin dropped...

Half dead flowers.

What?

"Wait! Mercy! I surrender! Give mercy!" The goblin let off, diving to the ground, face down covering his head for a moment, quivering. I blinked, sharing a look with Aeris, then Julie. All three of us had the same look on our faces as Brent hobbled along up to us; confusion.

"Excuse me?" I let off, aiming my sword to him as I stepped closer.

"I surrender! Please, no killing! I'm not here to hurt anyone, I promise!" The goblin let off as Brent panted, leaning on his cane heavily.

"You're the beast stalking my daughter!" He let off, pointing to it as I frowned.

"Goblin. Stand up!" I bellowed to it. "Hands on the back of your head. You twitch the wrong way I'll introduce you to my sword pointy end, got it?" The goblin nodded to me as he rose up. As soon as he pushed up to his knees his hands were on his head, standing up to his full four foot height.

[(⸜∕ ) Confront the Goblin Stalker]

"You have a name, goblin?" I asked him. He nodded rapidly.

"Heart Eater! I'm Heart Eater." He said. I finally got a look at his garb and, err, well...

Nice cotton pants dyed black, although clearly too large for him and the bottom of the legs were torn off, and not evenly and showing he wore black, hole filled socks and no shoes. The white shirt was also a little too big, but nice looking (Aside from some dirt on it from our scuffle), with the sleeves rolled up and pinned in place by bone needles. Over it was a black vest, once more too big for him and a red... I didn't know the name for it, those ruffled neck tie things.

I'd later learn it was called a Jabot Collar. The more you know.

It was like he was trying to be posh but didn't fully understand the concept. I was already confused and needed answers. "Okay then, I want answers. What's with the flowers?" I demanded. The goblin shifted, arms twitching, as if he wanted to fiddle with something. He looked nervous. Given how easily we could kill him, it was easy to see why he'd be nervous.

"Errr, w-well, I wanted to... Um, that is to say... I just needed to ask..." He let off squirming as he shifted side to side. I sighed and lifted my sword, slapping the top of his skull with the flat of my rapier. "Oww!"

"Out with it!" I let yelled out as he yelped.

"Iwasgoingtoaskheronadate!" The goblin blurted out in a rush. I blinked. Aeris blinked. Julie blinked. Brent fumed. I asked him to repeat what he said, but slower. "I... Was going to ask her out... On a daaaaate?" He let off, trying to smile up at us with a gap-tooth grin.

"I... what?" I let off, blinking my sword lowering as I tried to understand this situation. "O-okay. Let's start off at the top." I said, pinching my nose with my free hand. "Why do you want to date a human girl?" I asked Heart Eater, tapping my foot. He shifted a bit, starting then pausing in his attempts to speak. Finally he spoke up.

"W-well, I want to, you know... Have kids. Not too many, a dozen or two little ones, you know?" He let off, shifting side to side still. "But if you, um, try to force a girl, well, guys like you come and, er, try and kill us. S-so I thought if I could, um, get one to date me then no one would come to kill me." I blinked once more, looking down at him before sighing.

"What do we do about this?" Aeris asked, crossing her arms under her bust.

"Why her though?" I asked pointing to Julie. "She's cute, I get it, but there has to be other girls around you could ask."

"...Um, well.." He let off, gulping. "She... She smells like flowers and fruit..." He said, blushing a darker red. "I like that..."

I sighed, sheathing my sword. I looked to the others and threw up my head. "What do we do about this?"

"What do you mean, what do you do?" Brent let off, pointing to the goblin who yelped and stepped back, waving his hands to placate the man. "Kill it!"

"I normally would..." I said, rubbing the back of my head. "But... I dunno. If he was trying to hurt her I'd do it in a heartbeat, but I'd feel bad killing a guy for wanting a date, even if it was a goblin." I said as I saw a new figure approach us. This would be fun to explain.

"But it's a goblin!" Brent let off, fuming. Julie sighed a bit looking to the goblin.

"Mister Heart Eater." She said, addressing him making him turn to her. He grinned clasping his hands before him as he looked at her. "I'm sorry, but I'm not interested. I'm flattered, but I really am not interested."

"...Oh..." The goblin looked dejected, hanging his head. "W-well... Th-thanks anyway." He said as I saw the figure jog up to us. It was that weird girl I met with Kara, Sue Sue I think? I blinked as she almost switched to a skip as she came closer to us.

"Errr... Other fish in the sea?" Aeris offered, shrugging with a soft smile as she turned, hearing the new girl walk up as she moved around Brent. We all stopped to look at the girl, blinking as the innocent looking girl paused, patting her chest with an open hand.

"Mi mi mi mi..." She let off. Now what? I shared a look with Brent, his confusion matching mine. She coughed into her hand sighing for a moment before taking in a deep breath... And then...

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeek! A Goblin! It's going to rape me!" She let off, shrieking out loudly enough that everyone else gathered took a step back. We all stared at her as she recoiled, standing on one leg, as if she were panicking; a hard one-eighty from her calm, throat clearing from a moment ago.

"Err... M-miss, I'm not that kind of goblin." Heart Eater replied nervously with a soft chuckle. It was Sue Sue's turn to look confused, blinking at him. Heart Eater looked more and more nervous as she stared at him. And then...

Her face morphed. Innocence replaced with a twisted, angry look. She then stomped up to the goblin, grabbing him by the front of his clothing and lifted him up until he was eye level with her!

The fuck!?

"I said: Eek! A Goblin! It's Going! To! Rape! Me!" She let off as the goblin squirmed in her grip and under her intense glare.

"Couldn't we... Have a date...? Get to know each other?" Heart Eater let off, pulling another mostly dead flower from a pocket. Her face went red and she huffed carrying him into the forest. Once out of sight I heard a thud. And then...

"Listen you! I came out here to be ravished by a goblin! To be forced into ecstasy by a brutal, disgusting monster! So stop your damn whining, throw me to the ground and rape me like a cheap whore!"

"W-wait! I'm really not that kind of goblin! No, leave my pants alone!"

"Come on and tear off my dress! Tear it like you mean it!"

"Heeeeeeelp meeeeeee! Pleeeeeeaaaaaseee!"

"I..." I started to say, the others looking to me. "I don't think he'll be a problem anymore..." Everyone nodded and agreed.

Right, the class menu was unlocked now, right? I'd check that out later. I'd have to spend my stat points when I get home and check that out.

"That's... An unusual story." Kara admitted blinking to us before looking to me directly. "You seem to get the weird goblin jobs."

"Not by choice, I assure you." I said, sighing as I crossed my arms. Really, this was a rather weird day.

I'd later learn that Sue Sue brought the goblin home with her and declared her intent to keep him. With a leash and collar. And cage. Heart Eater would be stuck with her for a week before he finally managed to get away, escaping into the wild.

I don't think he'll be dating anyone anytime soon.

Kara set five silver down for me and five for Aeris. We parted ways as I sighed, moving along to explore the town for a bit. I never really got a good look at the city, so I was curious about the odd shops I could find.

I might have spent a half hour walking when a voice called out to me. "James!" I turned and saw Julie jogging up to me, breasts bouncing a bit as I waved to her.

"Julie! Can I help you with some- whoa!" I let off as she pulled me into alley between two shops by one of my arms. "What's this about?" I asked as she blushed, giggling softly.

"Sorry, sorry!" She said, giggling as she pulled her skirt up and...

I saw a patch of brown pubic hair, softly framing a wet, dripping womanhood. "Julie!?" I let off, eyes wide as I stared. Her clit was sticking out like a sore thumb as well.

"I'm sorry. I've... A bit of a problem..." She said bashfully, reaching down and spreading her lower lips with two fingers before rubbing herself. "Ever since I found out what boys can do for a girl, um, well, I've become a bit of a... Er, slut, I guess." She admitted shyly. "I just get excited easy... Seeing a man's strong arms... Overhearing talk about people doing it... Sometimes just walking if my panties rub me in the right way." She said, squirming in my view. She moved to a crate at the end of the alley, lifting her skirt up and over her ass. "Daddy doesn't know of course; he'd be upset with me if he knew... And anyone I was with. So... Could you help me? I need a cock..."

Was this a good idea? No.

Would I get some extra xp for it? Yes.

I moved up behind her. "Can you keep quiet?" I asked her as she nodded to me while I stepped closer...

Somewhere in Ur's Fortress...

The girl hummed a bit a smiling as she looked over all the letters. Invites, each and everyone of them. She was sending them out far and wide and she was sure each recipient would come. She had signed and written each one herself, after all. She then picked up one, lone letter. She turned it over and smiled.

This letter needed special treatment...

[-]

"Dick! Your dick is so good!" Julie let off through the cloth as I rammed into her from behind. My pants were opened to let me free my cock and she lifted a leg up to the crate to give me better access. I made a note that a soundproofing spell might be in order. She was biting on a cloth to keep her voice down, but she was still too loud for my tastes as I slammed my pelvis to her ass, slamming my whole cock into her.

She wanted it hard and deep, so that's what I gave her. However her face was twisted in pleasure, eyes crossing slightly as moaned and mewled with my thrusts. I gave her a spank, making her squeal out. If she wasn't biting down on the cloth I was sure her tongue would be hanging out. She gave a longer squeal as I felt her pussy spasm and squirt softly, squeezing down on my cock firmly. Fuck it felt great, but I wasn't close to being done.

Julie, it seemed, wasn't lying about her sensitivity; she was a nymphomaniac and this was the second time she came as I kept ramming into her. It was odd, fucking such a sensitive girl. My hands were on her breasts, massaging them through her clothes and pinching at her nipples, panting into her ear as she rocked herself back into me. I groaned into her ear, one of her hands reaching back and grabbing the back of my head. I was getting closer now, but damn she was into it!

"N-not so loud..." I hissed, pumping my cock into her as deep as I could, groaning deeper into her ear.

"S-sorry..." She let off through the cloth, shivering deeper. I was in a back alley, fucking a girl I barley knew; never thought I'd be doing this in either life.

"I'm going to cum." I let off as her eyes widened. "Don't worry. I have a spell on to avoid, ah, problems..." Her eyes then widened more, delight coming to them.

"In me then... let me feel it all..." She mewled as I nodded, my already hard thrusts picking up in speed. Finally I slammed deep into her, cumming hard as I pumped a deep, hard load into her. She squealed out, eyes crossing fully and after a moment let the cloth go from her mouth.

Her tongue did, in fact, hang from her lips. My cock pumped a bit more into her before I finally pulled out, panting a bit as cum dripped out from her. She panted as she lowered herself to the crate, her plush ass on display as her pussy drooled fluids; hers and mine. I recovered a bit quickly as I looked to her. "That enough for you?"

"Plenty..." She said happily as I slipped my cock away in my boxers where it should be, doing up my pants. She pulled some plain, white panties from a pocket and slipped into them, pulling them up before smoothing her skirt down, giggling as she turned to me. "I feel soooo much better. Sorry for forcing myself on you."

"I could have said no, you know?" I pointed out, shrugging. She nodded, blushing at me.

"I-I know, but when that happens to me, I get a little too... Um, forceful at times. I'm sorry." She said, bowing to me for a moment. "If you ever need a release, let me know. I'd be glad to have another... special friend." Yeah... Called it...

"I might hold you to that." I told her, smiling to her.

Well, that wasn't fully to plan.

The lore of the Shield Maidens was planned, but I originally wanted to leave it for awhile. However I decided to bring it in this one as I do plan to have it become important in a few, little ways down the line.

The goblin bit, however, was always planned for this chapter. Fucking Julie less so, but when the idea hit I went with it.

I was going to have something else in this chapter, but I'll leave it for the next. In addition, next time he'll be looking at the Class Menus and learn what that's all about.

Until next time then!
