I strolled down the dim streets of Brockton Bay humming "Can't touch this." It was a beautiful night, for Brockton Bay that is.

Except instead of birds singing or crickets chirping, the cries of a woman were the sounds I was hearing.

The Trickster abilities I had acquired were proving to be quite handy for spying or trailing, especially at night, shadow step allowed me to basically teleport instantly anywhere it was dark, turns out I'm also totally invisible in the dark as well, a pretty cool bonus.

Tonight my target was the ABB – a group known for prostitution and about the same amount of racism to anyone who wasn't Asian. I was determined to show them a thing or two, racist people suck.

I changed from my Jester form to a beautiful Korean woman, like a K-pop idol. All I'd need to do is walk past these guys and pretend I'm not paying attention.

"Hey there little lady, how about you come with us huh?" One of the ABB members that were currently kidnapping a young Asian girl said, smacking my ass.

Crunch

His face caved in as I kicked him, if it didn't kill him it would, oh well that was an accident.

"Oops... Went too far already~" I said, wondering why Jester's dodge hadn't forced my body out of the way of the ass slap... Whatever.

"W-What the fuck?"

"Shit! She a cape?"

The other two gang members reached for their guns, but I just took control of them and had them shoot each other in the stomach, I'd call the police after I helped this poor girl.

Transforming back into my Jester form I smiled down at the girl.

"Heya there! Chocolate?" I asked, my smile dropping a bit as she ran away from me screaming.

Note, don't offer little girls chocolate in Jester form...

"Yo, there are some guys here, they shot themselves, I'm out on Terry Lane, get here quick," I said to the 911 operator before hanging up and shadow-stepping onto a rooftop, my enhanced eyesight picking up another attempted kidnapping three blocks away.

"This'll take all night..." I muttered, shadow-stepping to the roof of a house and overlooking the scene. 'I'll just follow them instead.'

The Whores

Objective: Clear out one of Azn Bad Boys brothel's

Objective 2: Ensure each girl gets home safely.

Bonus Objective: Kill or Subjugate Lung

Rewards: +10 reputation with Brockton Bay, +10 reputation with Emma Barnes

Bonus Reward: x1 Guild Shop token for anything under 2000 credits

Fuck that bonus objective, fuck it to hell man. Even with my current powerset, I'm positive I can't kill Lung. I'd have to get a way to fuck with his power before I even thought of taking him down... The main objectives though...

I trailed behind a pack of ABB henchmen, staying concealed in the shadows to go unnoticed. They were dragging along a woman whose pleas for help were drowned out by their laughter and cruel remarks.

I'm all for degrading women, Bubbles loves it when I degrade her, but doing it just for the hell of it? Yeah not cool, not cool at all.

"Time for some fun," I whispered to myself with a smirk on my face as we reached a brothel, four armed guards stationed outside and likely a few more inside.

My cards flew around me, soaring into the air as I stepped out of the shadows.

The guards stationed at the door looked up their confusion quickly morphing into anger.

"Who are you supposed to be?" one of them barked his rifle pointing toward me.

I couldn't help but grin as I sent my cards down, gaining speed as they tore through the air. "What's wrong? You racist against Jester's too?"

Before they could squeeze their triggers my cards sunk into their hands and sides, careful not to pierce too deep or anywhere vital.

I shadow-stepped behind the first one, punching his ribs with a satisfied crunch.

The second guard swiftly drew his gun, but I was already one step ahead. Dodging under his shot I landed a kick to his knee, snapping it clean in two as I grabbed his wrist and twisted him up into the air, finishing off with a slam to the concrete, a sickening thunk echoing down the street.

"Two!" I said excitedly, making a wall with my cards as the third shot at me. "Oops~ Make that three," I said as his gun ran out of ammo, my cards surging toward him and sinking into various body parts before I grabbed his head and kneed him in the face.

Stepping into the building I relied on my thinker ability to foresee any potential dangers. I dodged the first bullet, soaring into the air and landing feet first on the man's face. I flew to the other side of the welcoming room, grabbing another and tossing him at the third man before continuing on my way. Every ten seconds a brief glimpse into the future provided me with quite an advantage over these losers.

Turning around a corner my gaze fell upon three more guards stationed outside a door clearly protecting something or someone. Feeling mischievous I decided to engage them in some banter.

"Evening, gentlemen," I called out cheerfully causing them to whirl around in surprise.

"How'd you?-, " One of them began before silencing him by tossing another card.

I used my Puppet Master skill for the other two, making them beat the shit out of each other as I peeked into the future. No guards behind the door? However, there were quite a few customers who I might need to take down.

I stepped through the door, grabbing a curtain to the right and raising it, staring right into the eyes of an Asian man as he pounded into a clearly underaged girl. "Boo," I uttered causing him to widen his eyes before I took a step forward, grabbing his neck and slamming him into the back wall. I covered the little girl, sighing to myself.

"You made a promise Jester, no killing..." I reminded myself, frowning for the first time that night. I hadn't really cared when it was just older women being forcefully prostituted. Sure it was illegal and it was bad, but I had no urge to care or help them for the sake of it.

Kids though? Yeah, fuck these guys.

"It's all right," I whispered gently, snapping her handcuffs off as I patted her head. "You're out of harm's way now."

She gazed at me, her eyes unfocused. "Are you the next customer sir? Do you mind if I take a five-minute break?" She said softly, shifting on the table.

"No kid, I'm here to free you... Call me Jester alright? Now sit tight while I free the others. " I said, my frown deepening as I left the room.

Seriously fuck these guys.

I didn't have any mercy with the other customers, broken collarbones, shattered jaws, legs, and arms, I even paralyzed another guy who was fucking a kid, these guys were really scum.

I knew this world was fucked up but I had hoped that the mashup with the other series had lightened it up a bit. I expected it from the Merchants, but even these guys were doing this kind of shit?

I stared down the leader of this particular brothel, three girls pleasuring him as he looked at me with wide eyes.

"What the fuck? You think you can simply stroll in here and—" I interrupted him by breaking his outstretched wrist, crushing his smith and Wesson in my hands, and throwing the dazed woman away from him. "YesI do shitstain," I said before breaking his nose and sending him to sleep.

"Huh, and here I thought you were some clown, this your work?" A female voice said behind me, a crossbow in her hands as her body was covered in a purple suit, a mask covering her face.

"Oh good, a ward. Do you mind reporting this to your bosses for me? I need to go home and hug my girl..."

She aimed her crossbow at me as I stepped, making me pause.

This was clearly Shadow stalker. She probably wouldn't be able to hit me, but did I want to look hostile to the PRT?

"You were pretty brutal..." She said, staring at me as I just sighed, scratching my head as I fought off the urge to turn her into a bloodstain.

Wrath was beginning to become one of my louder sins, with greed right behind it.

"Look... It took a lot of willpower not to murder all these assholes, I'd hate for you to die..." I stepped forward, appearing behind her and clutching her wrist. "That'd be a real sh-"

I stopped talking, my frown easing up as she phased through my grip and whirled around.

"Huh, they don't have teleportation on your profile. Relax, I was messing with you..."

"Oh... Then I'll take my leave," I said as she grumbled something under her breath.

"Is something wrong?"

She sighed, putting up her crossbow. "My... Partner would like a word with you, he's been told by the higher-ups to speak to you."

Oh?

"Depends on who they paired you up with tonight, if it's Armsmaster tell him to eat a dick... Clockblocker though? I'll happily talk to him for a bit.

"It's neither, Armsmaster's still too busy, Clockblocker's on pat-"

I could feel the danger before I saw the wall exploding, and the loud shouting.

Oh sure, make the girl distract me before trying to attack.

"Smash!" The boy yelled, flying toward me before I easily sidestepped him, letting him soar past me into a wall.

"Yeah..." I said as I watched him smack into the wall, "I'm leaving," I said, glancing at the boy who was clearly this world's Izuki Midoriya. Is he new or something? He wasn't in the known wards list I'd found on the internet...

"Yeah," Shadow Stalker said, sounding embarrassed, "Have a nice night."

As I walked out I could hear her begin to shout.

"You fucking idiot! I had him distracted and you come in with that flashy shit!"

Chuckling as I leave the brothel I shadowstep home, reaching it in two easy jumps. A good night's work if I do say so myself. The PRT was already on their way over so the girls should be fine.

Objective 2: Ensure each girl gets home safely. [x]

Bonus Objective: Kill or Subjugate Lung[Failed]

Rewards: +10 reputation with Brockton Bay, +10 reputation with Emma Barnes

Oh well, didn't feel like going to find Lung, even if I thought I could beat him, I was done for the night.

Remembering to disconnect those guards from my control, I went to another bedroom on the first floor.

"Hey bro, what've you been doing?" Adam asked, looking up at him as he got up off the floor.

"You're still doing pushups? How fucking weak are you? I only told you to do 100..."

Adam scowled. "Not everyone can be blessed, I gotta train to get my body like yours, you wave your hand and you look perfect."

I chuckle, shrugging since he's not wrong.

"I've got a small selection of men for you to start your gang, once we finish up your training I'll let you meet them... For now, they're laying low and doing even more grueling training than you."

"You already torturing my fucking men? You never change huh Vic?"

I pause at the nickname. My old friend had called me something similar, now it was likely I'd never see him again.

"Not my fault they're weak, most of them used to be drug addicts, they just quit cold turkey though, I wonder why~"

"You're giving me a bunch of drug addicts? Fucking disgusting."

'Ironic...'

"Anyway, you ready to get your ass kicked again?"

Adam sighed, nodding as he followed me, shirtless as we went down to the basement. It'd been a week since I'd started training him, and I'd managed to get him to a pretty good base. He was still pretty weak, but with his sober mind and my own guidance, he could be a pretty dangerous guy in the street.

A sober skidmark? Brockton wouldn't even know what hit them...

As I stepped into the basement I dodged a punch, smirking at his attempt. The first thing I taught him is that fair fighting was bullshit. Attack your opponent when they aren't looking, break their legs, kick their balls, spit in their eyes. Any dirty tactic goes in my game.

A dodged a well-aimed roundhouse, grabbing his ankle and twisting his body until he fell on his ass.

The first day this had been our stopping point, now though?

He twisted on the ground, kicking out toward my knee as I blocked it with my shin. Another thing I learned about Jester's dodge, I could forcefully put it down if I was intending to block an attack. If the attack would do any damage more than a bruise though it would work anyway.

So I can block and deflect attacks that wouldn't do anything more than bruise me, it gives me more to work with.

I slam my foot into Adam's unprotected crotch, smirking as he winces before jumping back up, his close glowing blue.

Then it expands, his ability covering the entire basement as a wide smile appears on my face.

Look at him, using his power all smart.

I bounce off the floor, slamming into the covered ceiling before I bounce again. I twist my body and land on two cards, using them to let me float.

"That was pretty good, wanna keep going?"

Adam hesitates before sighing, dispelling his power as he shakes his head. "You're way to fucking good at fighting, what's up with that? That move would fuck with any other person for at least a little while..."

"Maybe it's a skill issue? With that said though... You might be ready earlier than I thought."

He freezes, widening his eyes as a genuine smile appears and his crooked yellow teeth show.

Maybe I should put routine hygiene and dentist appointments as an order in his head?

"Seriously?" He asked as I just nodded. What he said was true. Almost anyone would be stumped by the move he had just used, and if they didn't have a way to fly or get out of his range, he'd beat them.

Pretty scary to think about.

"Yeah... Guess we oughta start thinking about your cape name, as well as the name of your gang."

This was the make-it-or-break-it moment. I couldn't care less about his cape name, but if he named his gang "The Merchants" or something similarly stupid again I'd lock him in the cards forever.

"I've been thinking about that actually... My cape name will be Surge, and the gang will be called... Syndicate."

"..."

Well. It's not terrible? Actually pretty good compared to his past naming sense. The Syndicate huh?

"Alright... Wanna meet your goons then? I can leave the rest of your training to them."

After all, I had a tinker to corrupt and get to make shit for me.

"Do I wanna meet em? You bet your fucking ass I do!"

Compared to Skidmark, Adam isn't half bad... Wait are we friends? Is my first friend in this world Skidmark of all people?

No, mind control shenanigans don't count, I still have the chance to make some real friends... Thank The Guild.

?

It shouldn't be awake yet. It knew this instinctively. It was due to attack the mortals in a few months, yet here it was, awake and aware and full of energy.

What had changed? Had its brethren done something to help its healing cycle?

No, this was different. It hadn't awoken to attack the humans and bring destruction upon them... It had been awakened for one reason and one reason only, to kill one human.

It felt the human, it felt him enjoying his day, it'd have to change that.

It wasn't sure what had woken it up, but it would fulfill its purpose, to kill the blank human, the one with no shard...

You've gotta be kidding me...

I let Adam get acquainted with his new crew. They would never recognize him as Skidmark, not with all the changes, not to mention most of the time these low level lackeys were drugged up and probably never even met him in person before.

As I close the game screen I let out a sigh. It would be fun, fun to kill an endbringer, and I would kill it make no mistake.

Maybe not at my current strength, but one month to get strong enough to kill it? Give me a week and I could do it... I've always worked better under pressure.

There are class quests for that sort of thing, you would have gotten them by now if you bothered to think you needed to be stronger...

I'm thinking it now though, aren't I?

Good Point.

I can apparently get a new class once one of my current ones gets maxed out, there are 5 "tiers" to each class, with unique classes having 2 extra tiers.

And I'd thought the current things they'd given me were strong? I was on the lowest level...

"Yo Surge, I'm leaving now, this warehouse is your base until you get more money and people. I've been protecting the territory from idiots for a bit, but that's your job now, good luck," I told Adam before heading out. I'd been meaning to do this for a while, but it was about time I met with the ghouls. According to online reports, they're pretty protective of their own, so hopefully, they're receptive to my plans.

If not... Well, I can just beat the shit out of all of them until they submit.

They have quite the "might makes right" mindset in this world, so if I show I'm the strongest then it shouldn't be difficult to make them an official power in the city. If I could do that I'd control two of the six gangs.

Speaking of gangs... Joker's guys have been acting up this week, I should probably pay them a visit as Jester and just arrest them all, not gonna bother keeping them around, they're worse than the merchants.

I'd avoided the territory for a reason, because as soon as I stepped into what was considered "Ghoul territory" I immediately had to dodge one of them diving down at me. I didn't even see where he was hiding,

"Nice try, but you'll have to do better than that," I muttered, Shadow Stepping to a rooftop to get a better view of my surroundings.

The ghoul landed where I had been, looking around in confusion before his head snapped toward me. He didn't have a mask on, and I realized he was one of the public ghouls, Ayato Kirishima.

He was quickly joined by three more ghouls. Ayato would be a problem, only because his kagune is all projectiles, I'd need to dodge them myself.

"Wait a second... Aren't their six leaders of the ghoul-"

I shadow-stepped to another building, barely dodging the two huge bony looking kagune that destroyed where I'd been.

"You're fast~" A voice said behind me as I caught a purple blade, staring into the face of Shuu Tsukiyama.

Good, they're all here...

"What do they call you guys online? The Elite?" I asked, jumping off the roof to dodge his teeth, landing right in front of Ayato Kirishima. The three next to him all had masks on, so I couldn't tell who was who.

A teenage girl landed behind me, and I recognized that Kagune. It was Hinami Fueguchi.

Shuu landed next to her as the rest of them let out their kagunes, making me sigh a bit. Fighting is fun and all, but I came here mainly to talk. If they wanted me to fight though... I'd happily oblige.

Appearing in Ayato's shadow, I grabbed his wing like kagune and swung him through the air, smashing him against the asphalt as I jumped out of the way of a few spikes. Another wing like kagune, this was clearly touka, she even had the familiar bunny mask.

Were Kaneki and Touka together in this world? Probably something to find out later.

"You're fucking creepy..." I said, looking at the ghoul in front of me, two red arms held onto my wrist, and a tail like kagune wrapped around my leg.

His face was covered by a mask, but I'd recognize this guy anytime, Uta.

He'd been my favorite ghoul when I watched the show, but yes, he was pretty creepy.

The grip tightened as the ghouls surrounded me. Heroes were permitted to kill ghouls as the world only saw them as monsters, perhaps the cannibalism pushed this narrative? Either way though, I didn't want to kill so many strong potential game pieces.

But I could just beat the shit out of them until they gave up right?

I appeared in Uta's shadow, but before I could attack him The bunny mask I assumed was Touka sent several blades flying at me.

Quickly appearing behind Hinani, I grabbed her kagune, tightening my grip to the max and swinging her around.

Letting her go, she flew and slammed into Touka. I quickly rushed to Shuu, slamming my foot into his balls repeatedly and tossing him into the wall.

I let my cards fly, deciding I didn't really care if they connected me to Jester. They'd be under me soon anyway.

My cards blocked Ayato's ranged attacks as I smacked Uta's three tails away, grabbing the fourth and biting into it.

Like everything else, it tasted like shit, but I ignored the taste as I spat chunks at his mask's holes, blocking his sight before elbowing dropping him and slamming my elbow into the top of his foot.

I rolled out of the way of the guy with a dog mask, I hadn't identified him yet, but he was probably the weakest out of all the elite.

I used puppet master on Touka, making her shoot at her companions before releasing her and taking a few jumps back.

"I can continue, but you lot are looking pretty tired…" I said, a bit of mocking in my tone as I looked at Shuu get up, looking enraged.

Ayato glared at me as he held his sister down.

"You're a master…" The ghoul said as if making an observation.

"Eh, barely, only one of my powers is mastering people, I can do a lot more, haven't even pulled out the scepters yet…"

I stopped the purple kagune in its place, kicking Shuu's legs out from under him and ripping his arm from his body, blood splashing against the asphalt as I kept Shuu down with a foot on his chest.

"I only wanted to offer you guys a deal. I mean, having capes always on the hunt for you? Even if they've allowed you to stay in this part of the city… Is that any way to live? What about schooling? What about jobs? Are you expected to just rot here? Even case 53's get a government check, you guys don't get shit."

I glanced down at Shuu. "Attack me again and I'll really kill you, I'm trying really hard to keep my promise you know?"

"Get the fuck out of our territory human, you have 1 minute before every ghoul swarms and feasts on your feeble body," Ayato growls out, looking at me with pure hatred.

Guess he really hates humans? Too fucking bad.

"If you don't want them all to be wiped out I suggest calming them down before they get here, I'll happily commit a little genocide if you don't though."

Maybe it was my light tone, or perhaps the fact I'd fought them for a good 5 minutes and still had no damage when they all were pretty beat up… Either way, Ayato flinched at my words, his eyes focusing as I heard noise behind me.

Around 200 ghouls stood like an army, blocking out the street as they kept their distance.

"Wait a second… Do you have a thinker power or something? Do you guys get abilities even with the mutation?"

If they get powers even when they're already ghouls I might not be able to back up that genocide statement.

"Ayato Kirishima, I just came to talk, and I'd hate to have to fight anymore… It'd be a shame for you all to die when I have such a great offer," I said, taking out the scepter of wrath. It's supposed to be able to destroy anything, so against an army it'd probably be my best bet.

I wasn't being as serious as I could, but this was starting to get annoying. Mainly because I wasn't sure if I actually could beat all these ghouls. Especially if they all had an ability to go along with their ghoulism.

I'd really declared killing Behemoth in a month wouldn't be too difficult and here I was doubting I could beat these ghouls, it was pissing me off.

Luckily, Ayato decided not to chance it and the army of ghouls dispersed, leaving only the 6 elite. That I could work with…

"Speak," Ayato ordered, furrowing his brows when I just stared at him.

"Wait are you a master instead? That's less cool, I just thought those ghouls respected you for some reason…"

Ayato glanced at the other 5 before looking back at me, his eyes wide.

"Some ghouls are given the ability to lead other ghouls. All of us are able to do it, it's why we're in charge… Now say what you had to say."

"Did you try it on me even though I'm not a ghoul? Are you that used to being around your own kind? Kind of sad actually…"

"Should I just kill him?" Uta said, cracking his neck.

"We should, humans only come here to die or kill…" Hinami said softly. Her Kargune flaring up.

It looks like ghoul history in this world is pretty grim, makes sense though… Regular racism is already pretty fucked, I can only imagine what people say about cannibalistic monsters.

"Relax, if I came to kill you you'd probably be dead, and if I wanted to die only two of you could probably get it done…"

I finally let Shuu get up, handing him his arm before raising my arms. Always one for the dramatics…

Ayato

He has lied, it's never good to reveal your abilities to anyone, especially one so strong.

He'd been able to give small commands to other living beings, all the elite had this power, blessed since their awakening as the superior race known as ghouls.

He knew it didn't work on those with the power or those who had a strong enough will to ignore it, but he never expected this human boy to be one of those.

He'd been so… Unserious. Even with the display of skill he'd seen, it had looked like the boy was just trying out his teleportation ability and not really fighting, he'd clearly never fought with the intent to survive, how could his will be strong enough to ignore Ayato?

If that wasn't embarrassing enough, now the boy was pretending he was in a movie…

"Rejoice! For I've come to save you!"

"…"

"Congratulations! Your savior is here!"

"…"

"I, Victor Marr- Fuck this, why aren't you guys cheering?"

The boy dropped his arms, a small frown forming as he stared at Ayato and the rest of the elite, looking disappointed by their reaction to his words.

Ayato had heard words similar to this before, from a human man named Ken Kaneki. He'd pretended to be a savior, a friend, only to betray them all after becoming a ghoul himself.

Ayato still remembered the pure hatred in his eyes, the way he'd shoved Touka away and called them all monsters before leaving...

"We don't need a savior," He heard Touka say, her voice shaking ever so slightly as the human man glanced at her.

"That's the spirit, if you guys did all that begging and self-hatred shit I would have had to lock you away until I could train you. Congratulations... You pass."

No one, not even the aloof Shuu asked any questions, for some reason the boy seemed much more dangerous. His eyes gazing over all of them felt different, it was hard to look at him without his eyes watering, there was a feeling in the air, as if lightning had just struck and still lingered.

Ayato recognized this, ghouls had incredible instincts, nearly as good as any animal, and he'd felt this when he'd first seen his father fight. The boy had an aura of a king...

"Why'd you guys tense up? You should be excited!" The boy, he had called himself Victor hadn't he... Victor said, suddenly standing next to Ayato, smiling as he took a selfie with his arm wrapped around the older man's shoulder.

"I'm gonna hand over some territory to you guys, I'll kick those pesky humans out of their houses and have them move somewhere else, there's gotta be hundreds of other ghouls somewhere else right? They can come here..."

Victor put his phone away before looking at them once more, a thoughtful expression on his face. He looked like he was about to lead them into battle, Ayato didn't want to follow a human, surely not a young one like this, he'd have to take back control once-

"Your sister must be hot right?"

"..."

"What?" Ayato asked, looking shocked as he stared down at the boy.

"I mean, no homo but I'd say you're attractive enough, so your sister must be pretty right? It's too bad she wears a mask, I'd love to see what she looks like you know?"

Ayato pushed him away, his wings reappearing as he shifted back.

"You can't take her..."

Victor sighed and waved him off. "Relax dude, I've only taken like, three girls against their will, it's not like that's something I just do on the regular, put those things away before I tear em off."

Ayato didn't put his Kagune away, the threat still apparent as he glared at Victor. Whatever he wanted from them didn't matter, he'd never let humans try and take his sister again.

"Ayato..." Touka said softly, her mask hiding her features as she put a hand on his shoulder. "Just listen."

Reluctantly, Ayato dispelled his Kagune, still glaring at Victor as the smiling teen looking around the area.

"Well, I don't really have shit for you to do right now, so here," He tossed a paper airplane straight to Hinami, the girl catching it with ease and unfolding it. "That's my phone number, if you need something just call. This has been pretty fun, let's fight again in the future Ghoul Gang."

As Victor began stepping off, Ayato stopped him once more. "We're not a gang, we're family."

"Whatever you want to call it... You're still enemies in the eyes of everyone else, you're a big group, people already consider you a gang, might as well own it... But that's none of my business, Later~"

Victor disappeared from the area as Ayato let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"Did he ever actually say what he wanted? Feels like he was just rambling on..." Uta said softly, yawning as he looked at the others.

"I don't like him..." Hinami said quietly, tossing the paper on the ground and jumping up toward a building, her Kagune flinging her through the skies as she headed back home.

Ayato picked up the paper, sighing. "Whatever he wants, we won't give it to him, if he shows his face here again then he's prey..." Ayato said, stuffing the paper into his pocket before the rest of them left.

Victor

That went well, sure I roughed them up a bit but we ended on a pretty good note. Now I have a bunch of friendly ghouls to spar with whenever I want.

Unfortunately, the quest for taking control of all 6 gangs didn't update, so it looks like I'll need to do a bit more if I want to finish it. Shouldn't be too hard for them to see me as their boss soon enough right?

Just out of curiosity, what's your plan for Behemoth?

'Oh Lily, are you worried about me?'

She didn't answer so I just shrugged and continued on. 'I don't have or need a plan, I'll just get strong and beat the shit out of him. Endbringers can't be that strong if someone like Taylor is the main character of this series.'

Hmm, do I just leave Taylor to do her own thing?

If I do things should progress how they did originally, but then she'll help and even join the undersiders, who I plan to disband...

I guess I can train her? Maybe make her the new figurehead of the E88, obviously with a name and crew change, no way are those nazis getting free.

I snap out of my thoughts as my phone rings.

"Yo."

"Victor! Those stupid fucking Asians are attacking us! I thought you were keeping people away from the territory!" Adam yells from the phone, gunfire going off in the background.

"Eh, I did my part you know? Kept em out for a cool week or so, do you need my help?"

If he needed my help this early I'd have to replace him, can't hold his hand all the time.

"Help? Are you joking?" He said before hanging up. Good. If they get wiped out this early though… Well I can always restart I guess.

I step into the mansion, sighing as I switch into casual clothes. What to do…

"Finally home? You should buy us phones so we can get ahold of you…" Blossom said as I stepped into the living room. I smiled a bit seeing she was still wearing the necklace I'd bought her.

"I'll buy you one later, what'd you need to call me for?"

"I almost got caught by those creeper people, are you ever going to tell me what I'm supposed to be doing? Buttercup and Bubbles get to go around beating people up and you just leave me here."

She almost sounded sad, probably because she can't fight with her sisters, but I'd like to think it's partly because she hasn't been able to spend some time with me.

"Well, you're probably gonna join the Prt, be my inside man... Girl? Whatever. You'll be on the wards and give me the inside scoop, say nice things about Jester, how he's hot and stuff, you know everything you think but don't say."

Blossom blushed subtly, like she had been practicing not to erupt each time I teased her, but I like the furious blush she usually has better.

"So you're using me to lie to the heroes of this world?"

"Heroes? Stop thinking of your world definition, most heroes in this world are a single bad day away from being The Joker... Or worse."

She looked a little troubled so I ruffled her hair. "It'll be fine, even if they did all become terrible people, I'd just beat them up, no way I'd let my cute little Blossom come to harm."

There it was, the blush on her face intensified until she jumped off the couch. That's the Blossom I know.

"S-Shut up… Anyway, I should be going now," she said before storming off into her room, leaving me alone on the couch as I just shrugged.

She and I weren't as close as we could be, more friends than anything, especially after the mall, but every now and then I couldn't help but feel a little romantic attraction toward her.

Which usually gets drowned out by Lust screaming in my head to bend her over, but that's fine, I can wait.

After all, she'll be a hero for this city, while I'll be a Villain, her villain. Am I writing a Romeo and Juliet inspired love story or what?

"Alright... Guess it's time to train," I said to myself. Teleporting the max distance I could do away from the mansion. I had an endbringer to prepare for after all...

Bonus Scene- Ken Kaneki

"You know the most about the ghouls, why would this..." Emily Piggot paused, not sure what to classify Victor as.

"Bastard?" Kaneki suggested, looking down at the plump woman for a second before looking back at the footage.

His frown deepened, looking at the monsters he'd tried to help. They'd messed with him, it was obviously their fault that he'd triggered and became a monster like them.

"Sure, why would he visit and fight with those ghouls? And why would they stop fighting him? Do we have anything to worry about?"

"If they step a foot out of their territory you won't have too... I'll gladly devour those abominations, just say the word and I can go right now..."

Emily frowned, not looking at Kaneki, "No, there's no need to do anything drastic right now, though I am tempted to lock them up... If they move out of their territory or you have reasonable suspicion that they're planning something you can move against them, for now... Keep watch on those ghouls."

Kaneki nodded, though he wasn't happy about being told to wait once again.

He'd wanted to kill them for a year now, he couldn't believe he'd fallen for their tricks and became one of them, all because of those bastards...

The second he was allowed to, the ghouls would die, that was his promise to himself...

"And this boy, Victor Marrows?"

"He's obviously a cape, but he seems to be trying his best to be a gang leader. Some of our agents were able to take some pictures of him with Skidmark, looks like he wasn't taking out The Merchants, just taking control..."

"That doesn't make any sense... His parents die and he suddenly wants to be in a gang? Also, the way he fights isn't something he can just pick up. It's dirty but practiced, I'd still beat him, but he was trained somewhere..."

"There's no record of him being anything other than a kid who lost his parents, his parents weren't villains either, we already checked, he's just a kid in over his head, focus on the ghouls, I can have someone else take care of him before he gets too big..."

"Whatever... Is that all?" Kaneki asked, staring at the paused video of Victor talking to the ghouls. The agents hadn't been able to get any real footage, choppy pictures, and a few seconds of video of Victor standing in front of the ghouls, as well as a short video of Victor attacking them before it cut out.

"Dismissed."

Kaneki nodded and quickly left the office, frowning behind his mask. 'Fuck that, I'll see what this kid is planning, if he's on their side... He can die too.'

A/N: So Kaneki's kind of an asshole in this fic, but at least Rize is alive and around somewhere. Red Hood next chapter, as well as some Breadbringer detective work.

Also for the bonus scene, cameras can still pick up Victor unless he activates his stranger power which creates a different presence, so if he activated it they wouldn't even see him leaving his home, and they'd only pick up his fake self on camera, not him. The passive hides his presence completely but it doesn't trick the eyes or the sense of touch, so if he touches someone or someone can see him they know he's there. What it did was make it so no audio could be picked up from the conversation, and it messed with their cameras, hence the choppy video and crappy photos.
