Ring. Ring. Ring. Ri-"Hello?" Said Crystal answering the telephone next to her bed. "Cortez. Get to the Acme Factory. ASAP. The Rabbit jacked Mr. Acme last night." Said the officer before hanging up. Crystal hang up her phone and got up and quickly changed into some dark pants and a white button long sleeve. She did her normal routine on her way out to the car driving to a short cut at Acme Factory seeing policemen left and right until she saw Eddie walking in with another detective. Pulling in park by one of the police cars Crystal got locking up once she was inside looking to see a crime scene. "Son of a bitch." Said Crystal seeing the drop safe with a body outline. "Déjà Vu. Huh Cortez? Sorry Valiant." Said The detective. "They called you too." Said Eddie. "Yeah. But this isnt Roger to do something that fucked up. Could be from the same guy or a copycat?" Said Crystal taking a look around. She saw that the police were messing around with the toon props even a few checking her out like a fresh piece of meat. Crystal then saw a hammer came right at her as she turned her head and crashed into the boxes. She shoved and kicked the boxes out of the way getting out with two cops helping her up. "What the fuck! You dumbasses arent getting paid to fuck around on the job!" said Crystal as Eddie went over to her. "You okay?" Said Eddie as Crystal cracked her neck loudly. "I will be." Said Crystal seeing Jessica coming over. "Mr. Valiant." Said Jessica. Eddie turned to get slapped across the face by her getting everyones attention on him. "I hope your proud of yourself and the pictures you took. Crystal hope you can help me on this." Said Jessica looking at her. "Already on it Jess." Said Crystal watch her storm out. "You deserved that one." She says looking at Eddie before one of the cops dropped a crate of cartoon shoes.
Rolling her eyes and rubbing her temples at the cops struggling to catch them caused the gurney of Acme to almost fall if they didnt grab it on time. She then saw something fall out of Acmes hand rolling by them as Eddie pretended to tie his shoe until a cane pressed his hand shocking him from the buzzer. Crystal looked to see a man dressed in all black with matching shade looking down at Eddie. "Is this man tampering with a scene of a crime?" Said The man. "Sorry. This one of our detectives. Doom meet Valiant." Said The detective standing between Eddie and Crystal. "And what is woman doing here?" Said Doom. "Crystal Cortez. Im a cop." Said Crystal. "Are you on this case?" Said Doom looking at her. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Said Crystal placing her hands on her hips. "I assure you and Valiant. That me and my best men will find the Rabbit responsible for this." Said Doom as the sirens were heard. "Oh no." Said Crystal recognizing that van anywhere. "You know them?" Said Eddie. "Ones is obsessed with me." Said Crystal as the weasels got out. "Weasels?" Said Eddie. "Hola mi amor." Said Greasy. "Kill me." Said Crystal walking away to find anything that can help. She looked at the rope closely until she heard squeaking and looked to see doom slowly putting one of the toon cartoon into a hot liquid steaming once it made contact looking helpless as it just nothing but red in like paint left on Doom's black glove walking over to Eddie. "See ya Valiant." Said Crystal not wanting to be in a scene where toon was actually killed. "Its best if you stayed out Ms. Cortez." Said Doom. "Ive worked with a cop and seen, heard, and smelled worse." Said Crystal walking away then heard someone calling her. "Cortez. This is Jones." said one of the detectives who called her with young officer. He looked around in his mid twenties well built, short waved dark brown hair with a scuffle along his sharp jaw line and looked to have honey colored eyes behind the shades. "Anthony Jones. Ive heard and read all your cases." said Anthony in deep husky voice. "Good to know. What can i do you boys for?" said Crystal. "I got this, Brant. Thanks." said Anthony with the detective leaving. "I wanted to get some tips on going under cover over dinner. if th-' Anthony was suddenly hit by a punch glove from one of the hammers that Crystal was hit earlier knocking him straight down on his side. He got helped up by Crystal and another cop looking over to see Greasy walking away whistling after throwing the hammer away while the other weasels laughed. "I would but as you can already tell i got a weasel problem and on a case on clearing my friend's name." said Crystal helping him dust off any dirt off his police jacket. "Understandable. maybe next time." said Anthony walking away.
'Fucking Dumbasses.' said Crystal looking at the weasels who calmed down from their laughing before she got in her car and left to Valiant's office. She walked up the steps to the floor seeing Baby Herman crying over something with his nanny before going to the office door walking right in seeing Eddie behind his desk drinking. "Hey Boozehead." said Crystal walking over to sit on his desk. She grabbed the photos he took of Acme and Jessica looking for anything then noticed something in Acme's coat pocket before Edie took it from her hands. "Baby was right." said Eddie using the magnifying glass to look at it closer seeing it was the Will everyone in Toon Town was talking about. "This case is getting a whole lot bigger." said Crystal as Eddie got up. "Im gonna sleep on this one." said Eddie. "Really?" said Crystal before shaking her head and went to the bathroom. She felt headache coming and splashed cold water on her face until the sound of screaming caught her attention and grabbed a towel to dry her face fast and ran out seeing Roger. "Crystal!" said Roger jumping her arms in a hug. "Tell Eddie that im innocent. I never hurt anyone." said Roger as Crystal held him. "Does anyone your here?" said Eddie walking over. "Nobody. Not a soul except . . ." Roger paused as the two looked at him. "I didnt know where you lived so i asked the newsboy, the firemen, the green grocer, the butcher but the liquor guy. He knew." said Roger as Eddie grabbed him by the ears. "Eddie give him a break. Eddie!" said Crystal keeping Eddie from throwing Roger out the door. "Please your my only hope. I never hurt anyone. I only want to make people laugh." said Roger as Eddie pulled hi away from the door until Roger landed on the bed. "Sure i was bit mad about you taking those pictures so i went to the Ink and Paint Club to fin Jessica. But she wasn't there so i wrote her a love letter." He explained as Crystal closed the door and locked it in case anyone was coming. "Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Out of jealously. you wrote your wife a love letter. With Lipstick on the mirror routine?" said Eddie. "Not all Toons hold grudges for that long not even him." said Crystal. "Lipstick? Yes. Mirror? No. But i found a nice clean piece of paper." said Roger then began reading it out loud. "Why didnt you leave the letter there or at home?" said Crystal as Eddie went to his desk. "I wanted to read to her in person and the weasel were at my home waiting for me . So i ran here because i know you can help like you, Crystal, and your brother. Speaking of where is he?" said Roger about to siting a very dusty chair but Crystal ran and picked up him up. "Dont sit there." said Crystal.
"Im calling the cops." said Eddie grabbing his phone. "Youre a dick." said Crystal putting roger down. "Go ahead call. All i wanted was your guys help. So thanks for nothing." said Roger going a door slammed it causing some papers to fall. "That's the closet!" said Eddie putting his away as Crystal picked after Roger's mess. She ignored their argument while picking the files and set them aside on Eddie's desk until a familiar siren making Roger freaking out and tried to find in the drawers. "Quick in the sink. I can try to get them to leave." said Crystal grabbing the newspaper before heading out in the hall away from the door leaning against the wall looking at it. "Move it. Cortez. You know where the rabbit is?" said Smartass once all the gang got on the floor. "No. im just reading while Eddie is in the shower." said Crystal looking at him. "Then he doesnt mind us looking around." said Greasy as Smartass knocked on the door. "You really want to do that. He walked straight out of the bathroom naked." said Crystal then used her body to block them from opening it. "Greasy. You cuff her while we get the door." said Smartass. "What?" said Crystal before getting away from the door. She suddenly dipped close to the ground seeing Greasy holding her by the waist and slam his lips against hers making a loud smooching noise. Greasy held her place feeling her pushing him away while he run his tongue along her bottom lip and teeth begging for entrance but wasnt getting what he wanted until Crystal felt for the newspaper that he made her drop and whacked him on the head until he let go. "Oh my god!" said Crystal running in to Eddies desk pulling out a bottle Jack Daniel's and drank it. "What the hell just happened?" said Smartass looking at her confused as Eddie. He then saw Greasy stumbling in with stupid grin on his face with his heart beating out of his chest looking at Crystal. "Did that son of bitch kiss you?" said Eddie seeing the bottle now empty. "With attempted tongue action until a beat his ass with the newspaper." said Crystal. She sat down while the weasels threw paper and other stuff around as Smartass was talking to Eddie until he slid down the steps with a bar of soap in his mouth. "Stop that laughing! You know what happens if you dont stop laughing your gonna die laughing." said Smartass as the gang including Crystal holding by her laugh until he knocked his brothers around to make them stop. They soon enough left as Roger spat out the dirty water while Crystal looked for another bottle of alcohol to wash Greasy's spit out of her mouth.
