"Yet another part of Penny's journey through Hell," Slays said as Ruby got even more excited than before. "Though before we begin I gotta play something that I forgot to last time,"
"UNCOUNTABLE CYCLES OF CREATION WASTED, UNCOUNTABLE FORMULAS FOR A MIND WITHOUT FREE WILL WASTED," The booming voice from the other testaments ranted. "DAMNED IS MAN FOR FAILING TO FOLLOW MY WORD, MY LAW. DAMNED TO AN ETERNITY OF TORTURE AND SUFFERING, THE WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH,"
The voice took a breath. "I HAVE CREATED HELL…" He paused. "And I can no longer unmake it…"
"So, I suppose that confirms my theory that this is the God of this Universe," Ozpin sipped his coffee. "Though… he appears to regret far more than just creating us,"
"Not so all powerful now, is he?" Salem chuckles.
"I guess," Slays shrugged. "Anyways onto Penny's adventure into the Wrath layer,"
Ruby eeee'd, shaking with excitement to see Penny's next adventure, the robot girl was equally excited.
Penny was tinkering with her blue and green arms, seemingly trying to combine the parrying of the Feedbacker and the Grappling Hook of the Whiplash. After a solid bit of tinkering (with a couple breaks inbetween to drink carbonated blood dispensed by the terminal) She had managed to put all of the essential parrying parts of the blue arm into the green arm. She finally exits the elevator.
"Ooooo…" Ruby looked enamoured with the tinkering, like an infant watching a baby sensory video.
Yang jokingly waved her hand in front of her sister to no response, chuckling as she did.
WRATH FIRST / IN THE WAKE OF POSEIDON
Penny entered a tall, moist cave, dimly lit by glowing cave mushrooms and half flooded with water dripping down or coming from a waterfall above, she pulled herself into an opening using her newfound grappling hook the opening lead her to a tall shaft, she used the whiplash to pull herself up the shaft and onto a ledge in front of a long pit, she once again whiplashed herself to the other side of the cave.
She walked, and as the tunnel she was moving through got tighter and tighter slid through a series of small tunnels, until she dropped down one into a-
PLOP
A completely submerged cavern, with the remains of tall buildings and bridges, a futuristic looking door stood at the far end, blocked off by three blue bars in front of three blue pedestals. The cavern had three more futuristic doors at the left, right and back end, all of which had panels with a lit blue skull pictured on them.
As she stepped on one of the collapsed buildings in the middle of the cave: A Virtue appeared in front of her, alongside 2 Strays and 4 Soldiers who stood utop the tall ruins on the sides, 2 Drones also glided through the air.
"Oh shit infrastructure," Qrow said. "How are people still building stuff all the way down here?"
"It's flooded, Uncle Qrow… they probably weren't building stuff for long," Yang chuckled uncomfortably.
"True… heh,"
Penny used the whiplash to fly past the projectiles shot at her as the pulled herself towards the Angel, overpumping her shotgun and dashing just as she fired it to kill the Virtue. She punched shotgun bullets at the Strays and the Drones to kill them, dashing out of the way of the Soldiers' next shots, and finished them off with four coins.
Now, Penny had a very important choice to- Penny began to swim towards the left wall… before quickly getting bored and using the whiplash to pull herself towards the door.
"She's the perfect blend between a child with ADHD and a cold heartless killing machine," James chuckled a little.
"It makes me glad we have this Penny," Glynda looked over at Penny in the theatre, who beamed in response.
Penny entered another large vertical room completely flooded with water, two towers each of which had two open floors sat on either end alongside a lower platform which stood in the middle.
A Virtue and 2 Strays spawned on the top floor of the opposite tower to Penny, a Maurice spawned on the lower floor, and 2 Soldiers spawned on the middle platform.
Penny pulled herself towards the Virtue, flying past the hell orbs shot at her, shooting her overpumped shotgun when she reached the Virtue, killing it and the two Husks next to it the explosion launched her back towards the platform with the door which now had two Strays on the top alongside a Virtue and a Maurice on the bottom, two more Soldiers had also appeared on the middle platform.
Penny punched two of the far end's Maurice's hell orbs back at it as she was launched towards the near end's Virtue, killing it then launching a barrage of overheated nails at the Virtue and the Strays to kill all of them. Penny landed on the top of the platform as the Maurice below her slowly stuck its head out of the lower floor to get a better shot at her.
She dashed past the barrage of orbs from both the Maurice and the Soldiers and slowly floated down to the middle platform, she shot two magnets and a bunch of saws which tore the Soldiers in half. Maurice had begun to charge up his beam; Penny pumped her shotgun up twice and pulled herself towards the Demon, shooting inside of him right as the beam would've been shot sending blood and pieces of him scattered all over the tower.
She grabbed the blue skull from the far end using the whiplash, then used the grappling hook again to go back to the main cave and place the skull upon the pedestal.
She grappled herself towards the door to the right, entering into a small flooded room with the skull key and its glass containment surrounded by four glowing Pillars.
2 Cerberi broke free from their seats on the opposite sides of the room, and a Maurice spawned, hiding behind the pillars.
"This architecture reminds me of the Mining Facility that started this journey," Ozpin mused.
"Some machines were repurposed for expeditions into Hell, they likely did manage to get decently far," Penny explained.
"Far enough for people to build shit down here… kinda impressive," Qrow smiled.
Penny dashed towards the Head, dodging the Cerberus' orb as she punched two of the Maurice's orbs back at it to send it crashing to the ground. The Cerberus then charged into her, though Penny managed to avoid slamming straight into a wall by dashing to the side, she shot a magnet on the ground and a bunch of saws with it to cirlce around and cut into the Statue, just as the other began to turn the corner.
One projectile boost sent the Statue to her left crumbling to her floor, causing the other to throw its orb at her in a rage she punched the orb back and then whiplashed herself towards the Statue as she overpumped her shotgun.
BOOM
She dashed just as she shot out the explosion that sent pieces of the Statue in every direction.
She grabbed the skull, went back to the main cavern, placed it on one of the pedestals and then went into the middle door.
She entered into a surprisingly not completely flooded cavern, with only a pool of water in the middle of a spiralling path leading up to the blue skull encased in glass.
2 Maurices spawned, one in front and one behind her, alongside 4 Filth and 2 Streetcleaners that rushed her down.
Penny jumped in the air and shot a ricochetting shot into the front Maurice's burst of orbs, exploding them and sending the Maurice crashing to the ground. She then whiplashed herself to the Maurice behind her as he charged up a beam, shooting him point blank with a shotgun blast to send him falling downwards and crushing the Filth. Two coins finished off the Streetcleaners as Penny fell to the ground.
A Virtue appeared right in front of the glass case, a Mindflayer spawned near the middle of the spiral alongside 4 Strays and another 2 Streetcleaners.
Penny dashed jump towards the Virtue as the Mindflayer launched her first burst of homing orbs, she unloaded her overheated nailgun into the Angel, punching it away as it died to avoid the shockwave; she then turned around and punched the orbs into the Strays blowing them to pieces. Penny jumped over a laser beam from the Mindflayer who teleported as she jumped into her and straight into the flames of the Streetcleaners, Penny quickly jumped into the air and shot two coins into their gas tanks as she dashed out of the way of the next volley of orbs, shooting a screwdriver into the Machine to keep her from teleporting. She then punched shotgun blast after shotgun blast into the machine until it turned red from anger. Penny dodged another volley of orbs, whiplashed herself towards the Mindflayer and punched the drill straight through it's stomach; Penny jumping off and grabbing the blue skull with the whiplash as she self destructed.
She went back to the main room for the final time and placed the final skull on the final pedestal, she moved through the now open futuristic door into a futuristic tunnel, much like the ones in the-
"That stuff is just like the stuff back in the Mining Facility," Qrow pointed out what was obvious to everyone else.
"Guess that confirms it, humanity got pretty far into Hell. I dunno why, doesn't really seem worth all the trouble," Yang shrugged.
2 Streetcleaners and a Schism appeared before Penny, she threw one coin to kill a Streetcleaner and damage the Schism; the machine bolted towards Penny with its flamethrower on, she jumped over it and punched a shotgun blast into it from above to kill it, she then finished off the schism with another projectile boost.
She used a bouncepad at the end of the tunnel to jump up into… another tunnel: this one had 2 Soldiers and a Drone inside of it.
She punched the first Soldier's blast back at it, killing it and creating an explosion large enough to send the Drone divebombing at Penny, who dashed out of the way and finished off the last Soldier with a revolver shot.
Moving forward led her to a room with windows on the side showing advanced machinery with water flowing through it, alongside two pillars in the middle of the room/
Two Sentries, essentially Green Sniper Rifles with sleek green legs appeared as Penny approached the large door at the end of the room.
"Holy crap, guns!" Ruby squeed, even though she had been seeing like, a lot of guns already.
"Those legs… would," Qrow nodded.
"Qrow, dude please don't-"
"Calm down Tai, I'm not gonna jump through the screen over these things," Qrow chuckled. "Speaking of, what even are these?"
"Sentries, they were made during the Final War," Penny said. "That's about all I have on them, sorry,"
"Don't worry about it robot girl my daughter may or may not wanna ba-" Ruby slapped Qrow hard enough to knock him out.
Penny shot a shotgun blast into the first Sentry, then slid under a fierce kick from the Sentry. The other Sentry buried its legs into the ground and began to beep and stare directly at Penny who finished off the first Sentry with another shotgun blast and a burst of overheated nails.
BEEP…
BLING
The Sentry's bullet made a straight hole through Penny's torso, causing blood to trickle from both it and a stream from Penny's mouth. The machine winced, then double pumped her shotgun.
She blasted the Sentry while hitting it with the knuckleblaster, the blood shot out of it helped heal the wound and launched the Sentry into the wall; it let out a beep of fear as a quickdraw shot from her revolver finished it off.
The circular door opened, and Penny walked into the next room which had a far larger door at its far end, and a large pillar with a platform on the front of it.
The circular door bolted shut behind her, and another two Sentries spawned at the far end, Penny dashed towards them, she spun up her revolver and shot above the first Sentry to kill it as the two machines rooted themselves into the ground.
The other Sentry beeped faster and faster; in a panic Penny threw a coin at it and dashed to the side and-
PLINK
The coin reflected the powerful bullet right back into the Sentry, completely destroying the upper half of its body.
Ironwood looked at Pietro with exciteme-
"Nah, sorry,"
Ironwood went back to looking stoic.
Penny stood stunned for a moment as the large door opened, revealing the room Penny was in to be the first segment of a larger hallway, Penny slid into the next segment.
Another 2 Sentries spawned near the elevator door, while 2 Streetcleaners and 2 Soldiers rushed Penny down.
The Sentries beeped as they charged up, Penny threw two coins in the air to blow the Streetcleaners up, dashed out of the way of the Soldier's blast, then dashed again to still be grazed by both of the Sentry's bullets.
Penny parried the first Soldier's blast back at it to kill it, finished the other one off with a shot coin and then shot the first charging Sentry in the antenna, forcing it to remove itself from the ground.
Penny dashed in front of the first Sentry as the second continued beeping, it fired its shot right into its fellow machine killing it and leaving Penny safe; Penny smirked as she punched three consecutive shotgun blasts into the Sentry to kill it.
Two Sentries appeared, one on the first segment's platform and the other just in front of the elevator door, four Strays appeared behind Penny as a group of Filth began to run towards her.
Penny shot two magnets and a bunch of sawblades as the two Sentries dug in and began to charge up their shot, the saw trap tore the Husks to shreds as.
BWAMM
Penny was blasted with a beam of pure light that launched her in the air, there was also a Virtue somewhere around here.
Penny dashed to dodge the Sentries' bullets, then shot the core of her shotgun at the elevator Sentry, and then shot the core with the red blast of the railcannon; the explosion transformed the Sentry into powder as Penny bolted down the hallway as the platform Sentry beeped. The bullet and the Virtue's next blast just missed Penny as she ran behind the pillar and made "eye" contact with the Virtue. An overheated blast of nails destroyed the Angel, Penny then dashed right back to the front of the pillar. She dodged a kick from the Sentry, then punched it off the platform and straight into a wall with the knuckleblaster; she shot a magnet and the sentry then shot another burst of overheated nails to finish the sentry off.
The elevator door opened, and Penny dashed right down it.
"This place is pretty wet for Hell," Qrow pointed out.
"Not enough fire, not enough suffering," Nora said.
"Nora… there'll probably be plenty of suffering in the lower layers," Ren reassured, Nora giggled in contentment.
WRATH SECOND / WAVES OF THE STARLESS SEA
Penny exited the elevator onto a stone bridge over an endless blue ocean of wailing souls, scratching and clawing at eachother on the surface in a desperate fight for air. Stone islands and near collapsing blanks of wood also stood above the ocean, though just barely.
She jumped onto the bridge of blanks in front of her, a small rock stuck out near it.
A Schism spawned on the end of the bridge, two Drones spawned in the air above her and a Sentry spawned on the rock.
"Oh there's the suffering…" Nora mumbled.
"Eternally fighting over the permission to breathe," Weiss shuddered. "They-There's nothing bad enough for that,"
"Something this bad for just being angry," Blake commented. "Wonder what the actually bad stuff is gonna be worth?"
"I'll pass on thinking about it," Yang chuckled.
Penny charged up and shot the piercing shot of her revolver through both the Drones as the Sentry dug itself into the rock and began to charge up, Penny jumped over the Schism's barrage of orbs and kicked it into the Ocean of souls. Penny then jumped and dashed above the rock, she stomped into the air to force the Sentry into the air and punched the Sniper to be crushed by the weight of the souls.
"Brutal," Blake shuddered watching machine and husk alike be literally crushed under the pressure of the fighting souls.
Penny jumped forward onto a small stone island, narrowly avoiding falling into the Ocean herself.
A Stalker spawned between a Maurice and a Sentry, the husk began to limp its way towards the Demon who slowly lowered itself down.
Penny spun up her red revolver once again and shot it right into the Demon's hell orbs, the explosion killed it, the Stalker and launched the Sentry and Penny in the air from the shockwave; Penny quickly punched the other machine right into the Ocean.
Connected to a rock was a square shaped set of platforms which led to a cabin, moving towards the cabin spawned a Virtue in one corner, and 3 Soldiers in the other corners.
The Virtue was killed before it could even launch a beam of light by a barrage of overheated nails, the orb was then punched between 2 of the Soldiers to launch them into the Ocean.
A Maurice spawned in the middle of the platform as Penny shot the final Soldier to death with the revolver; Penny dodged the first barrage of Hell Orbs, then punched the second barrage back at Maurice to kill him.
Penny walked on a rickety plank bridge into the small cabin, a dimly lit room with a red carpet, a cozy fireplace and a flight of stairs. A singular Filth spawned, though this one was glowing, Penny shot it but nothing happened.
"Pretty cozy place," Yang said. "Minus the Ocean of tormented souls outside.
"First they don't bleed, now they just don't die," Ruby pouted.
Penny walked up the stairs into a cozy little bedroom to find a glowing statue of a woman cradling a baby, she shot it at first, dodged a charge from the Filth and then punched it out of anger… which caused it to explode and made the Filth stop glowing, it was quickly shot to death.
Penny walked over to a desk with a book on it, underneath a painting of an old, old Glynda with white robes wrapped around her body.
"What am-"
"You're a Ferrywoman, you were deemed devoted enough to God to be given the job of transporting souls across Hell," Penny explained. "Oh… sorry for interrupting you Ms. Goodwitch!"
"It's alright, what was that statue?" Glynda asked.
"An Idol, a Lesser Demon given the ability to bless creatures by the Ferryman who carved them into those shapes,"
"Jeez Glyn, didn't know you were an artist," Qrow smirked. "Oh wait," Qrow pulled out Glynda's most well kept secret, the fact that she had an art degree.
The blonde huffed and telekenises'd the paper towards herself.
"You're no fun,"
"You're a thief, and a drunk,"
Penny picked up and scanned the book.
EXCERPT FROM FERRYMAN'S DIARY
Some calamity has struck the mortal world. What once The River Styx has now grown to an unfathomable ocean. A million weeping souls pouring in each day that the shores can barely contain. A tearful tide spilling over at each end, bow to stern, crying for mercy, begging for safe passage. But not all souls can pay and these old hands can only take so many coins.
Then one day, the current shifted. Wave after wave for minutes on end of millions, billions, as though the throat of the world was cut wide and the head wrenched back to speed the pour. I didn't have time to react. The weariness from my ceaseless work claimed me and I slipped beneath the roiling sea, into the depths of the Ocean Styx, my fate sealed by the crushing masses of endless bodies.
Suddenly, there was a light as brilliant as the Lord himself, ushering me from the darkness with mighty arms that held me with such compassion and warmth as I had never known:
"Be not afraid, sinner. Your devotion to God shows goodness in you; plentiful indeed. The heart is willing but the body must rest, lest you squander one of the Lord's creations."
Her gentle words eased the pain and mended my wounds. My face wet with tears of relief, my words muffled by the weight of my duty. I could only lay in reverence, carried in the embrace of majesty.
Radiant is Winter, for she is the light in my darkness.
REMAINING TEXT: IRRELEVANT.
Penny looked at the book a little weirdly, said "gay" and then tossed the book aside as usual.
Winter and Glynda both blushed, the audience elected to not comment in fear of the women murdering them… even Qrow.
"So uhh… a lot of people died," Blake said. "That's uhh… bad,"
"Yeah, yeah," Yang agreed.
Penny exited the Cabin into another Cabin, this one had two glass pillars that held Idols within them, there was also a large stone statue of Winter at one end of the room.
Qrow desperately stopped himself from making a joke as both Winter and Glynda glared at him.
A Maurice spawned in front of the Statue, four Soldiers spawned around the pillars, and a glowing, idolled Streetcleaner spawned under the Maurice.
Penny jumped over the Streetcleaner as she parried 2 Orbs back into the Maurice to kill it, she was hit in the back by a Soldier's fire as she shot a bunch of saws around to tear them in half, sliding to both move faster and avoid the Streetcleaner's flames.
The pillar opened up as the Soldiers died, Penny broke it and blew up the Machine's gas tank with a coin.
An Idolled Virtue appeared, alongside two Cerberi who broke free from their seats at either side of the Winter Statue.
She spun up her red revolver and shot it near the 2nd Cerberi, the shot reflected and pierced between the two Cerberi. Penny dashed backwards to dodge an explosive apple of a Cerberus and punched two shotgun shots at it to break it into pieces, she then dashed between the two pillars to dodge the Virtue's blast as the Cerberus became enraged. The Statue threw an apple as Penny slid into his eyesight; she punched the apple right into the Cerberus to blow it into pieces.
The second glass case opened as Penny slid out of the way of another blast of light; she punched the idol and killed the Virtue with a burst of overheated nails.
A door opened into a small room with a blue skull.
Penny walked out of the Cabin and into a group of near collapsing, broken up piers with an in tact cabin near some rock islands to her left; at the final pier was two pedestals, a red and a blue one.
2 Strays and a Soldier spawned on the first set of planks, a Soldier spawned on a lone plank to the left and 2 Strays spawned on the pedestal platform.
Penny jumped forward and punched an explosive shotgun blast between the three Husks on the first platform to knock the two Strays in the Ocean, she dashed out of the way of the Hell Orbs from all sides, and shot the Soldier with her revolver.
Penny punched a Hell Orb from the plank Soldier back at it, and then shot a magnet between the two Strays then shot some saws to cut them in half as she landed at the pedestal platform; she placed the blue skull on the pedestal.
DING DING DING…
A bell tolls as the sea itself shakes in front of Penny, thousands of bodies make way as an entire Ship rises from the Ocean Styx.
"We found the Ferry," Yang shrugged. "So that's neat,"
"Now all that's left is the woman," Nora nodded.
Penny jumped across the planks and broken piers and onto the rock island, she entered the cabin and moved up the stairs within it.
The red skull was at the far end of the room, a glass door slid in front of it and an idolled Virtue spawned next to her. Penny slid down the stairs as she avoided the Virtue's blast, three Streetcleaners spawned behind her as the broke the Idol.
She slid under the fire and spun up her red revolver, the ricochetting bullet hit two of them straight in the gas tank as she slid up the stairs, the Machine trailing behind. Three Soldiers spawned, guarding the Virtue.
She ejected the core from her shotgun with a smirk, then pulled out the railcannon and-
BOOM
The Nuke took out every enemy in the room, though the glass door wouldn't open for some reas-
PLING
Penny just dashed out of the way of a Sentry's bullet, she pouted, dashed towards it and unleashed a burst of overheated nails to kill it.
Penny grabbed the red skull with the whiplash and jumped back to the pedestal pier, she placed the skull on the pedestal.
DING DING DING
A set of wooden platforms that were barely holding together rose from the Ocean, Penny jumped her way onto the bow of the ship.
It was a pretty standard ship, the only thing of note was an Idol sitting on the bow, which protected the elderly Glynda, the ferrywoman wrapped in holy robes, and standing on the bow of the ship, above the closed exit elevator doors. She eyed the machine suspiciously as she held an ornate oar in her hands.
"Fouuund her!" Nora cheered.
Penny shrugged and then leaned on the Idol as she flipped a coin in her hand, ready to throw it towards the-
CRACK
Glynda's face scrunched up in anger as she jumped down onto the deck and swung her oar right into the face of Penny, sending the machine tumbling to the floor.
"How rude…" Glynda crossed her arms, even if it wasn't really her she was still a bit miffed about the sculpture being destroyed, it was priceless… mainly because society didn't exist anymore.
Penny quickly pushed herself up, shot a charged up shot into the Ferrywoman and jumped over her next swing. She dashed away from the next swing and fired a barrage of nails into Glynda that mostly missed as the Ferrywoman rolled behind her. Glynda jumped in the air and lifted her oar over her head and slammed it down as-
PLINK
Penny punched the Ferrywoman straight in her bony gut, sending her crashing down to the floor, she pushed herself up as a barrage of overheated nails mostly hit her; she swung her oar once again as she lunged towards Penny… only to be parried once again and hit point blank with a shotgun blast.
Glynda began to glow once again, a revolver shot bounced right off of her as she jumped back up to the railing, closed her eyes and held her oar with both hands.
"Pussy…" Qrow muttered under his breath, Glynda pretended not to hear.
BZZZZT
Lightning struck right behind Penny, the machine jumped in the air while shooting the core of her shotgun below her, she then shot the volatile core to launch herself right on top of the bow.
The idol protecting Glynda broke with a crack as Penny dashed to dodge another lunge; she punched a shotgun blast into the Ferrywoman and was smacked in the face by her oar. She slid under another swing and then parried a second overhead.
Glynda stumbled back a bit, Penny used this to fire an electric railcannon blast right into her chest, Glynda was nearing the very edge of the bow.
She jumped in the air again and lifted her oar as high as it could go, Penny dashed towards the Ferrywoman.
Glynda was launched into the Ocean below her as Penny punched her in the gut once again with her red arm the Ferrywoman was crushed under the weight of the souls, and the exit elevator opened soon after.
"Jeez, super brutal," Yang shrunk a little in her chair. "Er… any new information on her now that she's… all dead and stuff?"
"Eh… yeah, Only one Ferryman can run a ferry at a time, two Ferrymen wanting to run the same boat need to fight to the death," Penny mumbled out the death. "And their skulls are uh… kept as trophies and used to open doors," She looked down.
"Okay that's just like… comically brutal, like putting a meatgrinder in the middle of an office cubicle brutal," Yang joked.
Blake giggled. "I guess that also explains the skull keys,"
"They could've just used regular old doors, but noooooo, we gotta use skulls cause we're all brutal n' stuff," Yang crossed her arms.
WRATH THIRD / SHIP OF FOOLS
Penny jumped out of the elevator into a neatly decorated hallway, with lovely brown wallpaper and beautiful blue carpets; tables and chairs were dotted around the hallway of the Ferry. A window to the side let Penny see the rocking waves of the Ocean Styx.
She dashed into a foyer with a staircase leading up to a walkway, an oil painting on the wall depicted Winter holding Glynda in a bridal carry.
"Okay I'll admit, that is a touch… weird," Glynda sighed.
"Strange, even," Winter added.
2 Streetcleaners spawned in front of Penny as she entered the foyer, a Schism appeared on the stairs and three Strays shot at Penny from utop the platform.
Penny dashes past the Streetcleaners as they chase her up the stairs, killing the Schism on her way with a burst of overheated nails; she dodges the Stray's hell orbs as the Streetcleaners reached them on the walkway as Penny spun up her red revolver and-
DINK DINK DINK DINK BOOM BOOM
The ricochetting bullet blew the Streetcleaner's up and tore the Strays in half; there was two doors at each end of the walkway, Penny walked towards the one at the near end.
It was another hallway, a small staircase in the middle of it led to a split colour door with a red and blue pedestal at either side.
"YES!" Nora screamed. "SPLIT COLOUR DOOR!"
"Indeed it is," Ren smiled and nodded. "There will be more in the future,"
"My day… is made, Remnant has risen, millions must live," Nora had tears in her eyes.
Team RWBY looked at Jaune and Phyrra, who shrugged and went back to watching the screen.
Penny entered a door to the right and walked down a flight of stairs, leading her to a large dining area/bar. 2 Sets of stairways stood at the beginning and end of the room.
2 Maurices and 4 Strays spawned standing on the bar. Penny dashed away from the hell orbs launched at her and shot the core out of her shotgun, she then shot that with the red fire of the railcannon. The nuke sent the Hell Orbs flying back at their launchers killing the Demons and Strays alike and sending burning furniture flying everywhere.
"That was a perfectly good dining room!" Jacques pouted. "Think of all the people who would've been jealous of me if I owned that!"
Two Cerberi awoke awoke as a group of Filth and Two Soldiers pursued Penny from the Bar. She overpumped her shotgun and slid under the Filth while exploding it to kill them and dodge a thrown apple from the Statue. She shot two coins to kill the Soldiers before they could even fire at her. 2 Drones and a Sentry spawned as she moved towards the Cerberi.
The Green Machine began to beeped as Penny shot a barrage of nails into the Demon, just as the Sentry fired of a shot directly through Its chest that Penny just barely dodged; Penny shot the Drones down with her revolver as the first Cerberus fell to pieces, the other one enraged, Penny dashed out of the way of his dash and shot another barrage of nails into it, before punching multiple shotgun blasts to blow it to bits, then she-
WHIP
As the Sentry charged up its next shot, a Mindflayer whipped Penny in the back with her tendrils. Penny jumped onto the front stairs to be level with the Sentry and waited.
BEEP BEEP BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP PLING
threw a coin to perfectly reflect the Anti Materiel Round straight into the Mindflayer's chest, the hole in her chest caused her to self destruct as Penny blasted the other Machine to death with her shotgun.
As all the enemies died, Penny entered a room at the far end of the Dining Hall which led to a hallway with a long glass window and the red skull on its pedestal at the very end.
Out of the corner or her eye, she saw some kind of large serpent made of bone and flesh slither in and out of the water. Penny shuddered as she grabbed the red skull and headed back to the split colour door to open it.
"I know we ask this constantly, but what is that?" Ruby said, sounding just a little spooked.
"I have no idea, friend Ruby,"
"Right, you don't know things until you fight them"
Despite the way forward being wide open, Penny elected to get the other skull anyway, for funsies. She slid through the top part of the foyer and into a door on the far left that lead to a hallway with a set of 2 Cerberi inside.
As she entered the 2 Statues broke free of their seats.
Penny spun up her red revolver, the ricochetting shot pierced and shot both Cerberi in the head at least 3 times; she then jumped to avoid two shockwaves from each Statue stomping, she then punched a couple shotgun shots into the first Cerberus until it burst into stone, blood and flames.
The second Cerberus turned red with rage as a Maurice spawned at the far end of the hallway; Penny slid away from a Cerberus' dash and punched one of the other Demon's hell orbs into it to kill it. She then whiplashed herself to the face as it charged up a hell beam and shot it with three shotgun shots to send it falling to the floor.
Penny slid through an L shaped hallway and headed into a small square room with a carpet and a fireplace.
Two Sentries appeared at either side of Penny as she slid into the middle of the room, a Virtue appeared above her which she quickly annihilated with a burst of overheated nails.
2 Schisms appeared as the Sentries beeped and Penny shot a couple magnets on the ground and a bunch of saws to go with it; the Schisms were quickly torn in half as the Sentries beeped in pain. Penny dashed to dodge both of their shots as she shot the electric shot of her revolver into one that she jumped over, the shot pierced it and hit the other Sentry. Killing both of them.
4 Soldiers spawned at each corner of the room, first one was dispatched by Penny punching its orbs back at it, the second one was shot by her revolver as she slid to avoid the rest of the orbs, the third one was punched so hard with the knuckleblaster he exploded, and the fourth one was split in half by a singular sawblade.
A door opened as the last Soldier died, Penny entered it, grabbed the blue skull on its pedestal and walked through another door back into the split door hallway. Penny elected to keep the skull with her as she pressed on.
Penny ran through a hallway with doors leading to bedrooms that 2 Soldiers and a group of Filth burst out of, being quickly eliminated with the ricochetting shot of the red revolver.
"This place has some nice rooms, would've been nice to live out a stay in Hell here," Qrow shrugged. "Sucks that Penny annihilated it,"
"I'm sorry," Penny puffed up her cheeks.
"Don't worry Penny, this version of you was being attacked… I think," Ruby tried to reassure.
The next room was a tall room with a large, spiral staircase at the edges with a table and a stone statue of Winter on the floor.
A Virtue, protected by an Idol at the top of the stairs appeared above the table. Penny began to walk up the stairs, dashing past two Streetcleaners that appeared and began to chase her. She pumped up her shotgun three times as Three Schisms appeared around her; she exploded the Shotgun to blow all of them to pieces as she continued to dash up the stairs, avoiding a blast from the Virtue as she did so. A Sentry spawned and she narrowly slid under its kick and towards the Idol, which she broke with a swift punch.
She saw the two streetcleaners running up the stairs and spun up her red revolver, shooting the ricocheting shot, which launched itself into both of their fuel tanks, She dashed to dodge the Angel's next blast then quickly hooked herself to it and shot an overheated blast of nails, she dashed out of the way from the Sentry's bullet and whiplashed herself towards it, unleashing the second burst of overheated nails into it to kill it. Penny walked up the stairs and entered the next room, A foyer with a large hologram of Winter in the middle, it spoke in an authoritative, yet gentle voice: "Be not afraid sinner, your devotion to God shows goodness in you; plentiful indeed. The mind is willing, but the body must rest lest you squander one of the Lord's creations,"
Penny looked… mildly confused at it, before muttering the word "Gay…" under her breath again and going moving onto the next room.
Winter and Glynda quickly glanced at each other, blushing for a moment before instantly looking away.
Qrow opened his mouth to say something, before being quickly knocked out by a slap to his stubble havin', alcohol stained face by Yang.
She walked into a large room filled with a platform with 2 staircases leading to it, one part of it was mostly covered by glass forming a tight corridor. There was also a dual wield orb on the platform.
Penny greedily forced herself into the orb and grew the extra arm she was accustomed to gaining from it. A Group of Filth alongside 4 soldiers and 2 Sentries appeared at different sides of the Platform, half of them appeared in the Corridor and began to rush her down, 3 Drones also spawned in the air.
He slid around the platform, shooting saws to kill the Filth, the Soldiers and a Sentry. She then dashed away from a shot of the other Sentry and finished the other one off with a shot from each of her revolvers, four coins finished off the Drone as a Malicious face appeared in the middle of the room, alongside: 3 Strays on the Platforms and 2 Schisms, 2 Streetcleaners, a Virtue and a Mindflayer on the ground floor. A Cerberus also broke free from it's seat.
Penny threw up two coins and shot them into each of the Streetcleaner's tanks, they blew up next to the Schisms blowing the both of them to pieces. She punched and dashed away from a barrage of hell orbs from the Mindflayer, the punched orbs landed into the Maurice as it began to charge up a beam; Penny attached herself to it using the whiplash and shot it with the shotgun to send it falling to the floor. She jumped back onto the top platform and shoot two ricocheting shots that killed every Stray and hit the Mindflayer several times as it teleported behind her. The feminine machine turned red and charged up another barrage of bullets as Penny dashed backwards to dodge the Cerberus' thrown orb and the Virtue's beam. Penny bunched the barrage of orbs, the Mindflayer screamed as Penny dashed towards the shaking machine and punched her into the Cerberus. The large blue explosion causing cracks across its whole body. She dashed towards the Virtue, dodging another orb and heavenly blast as she shot an overheated blast into the Angel to kill it.
Another Cerberus awoken alongside another Virtue on the other side of the room. Penny shot two electric railcannon shots into both of the Cerberi, killing the first one, and both cracking and enraging the other. She then dashed around him into the other Virtue to shoot an overheated blast of nails into it to kill it. She was hit by the explosion of the Cerberus' orb, launching her into the air. She quickly launched herself towards the ground and pumped her shotguns twice, she dodged the Cerberus dashing towards her and shot both of the blasts into the Cerberus to send it collapsing to the ground in pieces.
With no more enemies, she moved into the next room, a dimly lit hallway leading to a small room with a headless blue skeleton on a slab, an industrial looking orange and grey rocket launcher replacing his left arm. A picture of the Ferryman with the rocket arm hung on the wall behind him.
Penny placed the skull on the body and look the rocket launcher, the whole room shook and the lights flickered as she did so.
"Neweaponnewweaponnewweaponnewweapon!" Ruby went all googly eyed at the, admittedly really cool arm cannon rocket launcher thingy.
"Hank and his Hankcestors appreciated that…" Penny mumbled as the skull was returned to the body.
"What?" Ruby stopped fangirling for a moment.
"Nothing *hic*"
"I have the faintest idea that this boat isn't gonna be working for much longer," Blake commented.
Penny walked back into the dimly lit hallway, new weapon firmly in hand with three buttons on it. The entire hallway began to shake, nearly knocking Penny off her feet as it quite literally turned upside down, leaving the lamps broken and attached to the floor.
Penny walked out of the hallway into the previous room, half flooded with water and also completely upside down. She walked onto the glass corridor area.
Sixth filth spawned, she used the red button on the rocket launcher to create a line of gasoline, she then shot it to set it on fire. Every single Filth burnt up walking into it.
"Called it," Blake said. "I am so smart,"
"You are," Yang and Sun said… at the exact same time in the exact same tone of voice.
Ruby continued to fangirl over the absolute abomination of a rocket launcher.
Penny dashed over the fire, the room had now been separated into two separate platforms, one with her on it and the other with 2 Strays and 2 Schisms on it.
Penny launched a rocket at the feet of the Husks, which did no damage, but launched them in the air; she then shot a rocket at the Schism, resulting in a red explosion near identical to that of a smaller core nuke that killed every Husk on the platform.
Next room, the hologram room, but with the once proud (and kinda creepy) hologram now flickering, its words distorted, the room parts of the roof had now become two platforms that led up to the door. A Sentry spawned at the far end, one Schism and one Stray spawned per platform.
Penny shot a ricocheting shot to kill everything on the first platform. She quickly dashed into the second one and launched an overheated blast of nails to kill everything on that plaform. She dashed to dodge a Sentry's bullet and hit the green button on the cannon, launching a full on cannonball that hit the Sentry, interrupting its next shot. She shot the cannonball, causing it to explode and blow the machine into pieces.
A Maurice spawned at the near end of the room alongside 4 Drones. Penny spun up her red revolver again and shot it into the barrage of orbs; killing every enemy in the room at once with several blood red explosions.
Next room, the flooded stairwell, she slowly climbed up it, using her sawblade launcher to kill the few Filth that tried to block her path. She then saw three now platforms with one soldier each.
She shot a rocket at their feet, launching them into the air to shoot them with… another rocket. Being airborne made them unable to block the explosion, Penny realised with a smirk as she did this with the other Soldiers.
She entered the flooded, ruined dormrooms, a single Cerberus spawned in the cramped area.
Penny dashed past it, hit the final, blue button on the rocket launcher and shot two rockets, both of which froze in place, glowing blue after about a second, Penny hit the button again and watched as the launched rockets blew the Statue to pieces instantly.
Penny walked towards the door to the Foyer, two Streetcleaners jumped her from behind… both of which were instantly killed by the water that came rushing from the door as it opened.
The Foyer was almost completely flooded, the framed picture of Winter and Glynda acted as a platform that a Maurice stood on to shoot Penny at from below, three Strays appeared in the water.
The Husks were taken out with three thrown coins. Penny waited until the Demon charged up a beam, grappling herself towards it and shooting it straight in the mouth, the explosion turned it red with anger, she punched a Hell Orb back at it as she dashed into the door to the elevator she came from.
She looked at the Terminal, now on its side as she entered the elevator room.

Penny giggled, quickly putting it right side up and then jumping down the hole to the next part of Hell.
"Oh, Penny has to fight whatever knocked over the ship now, huh?" Blake said.
"Ah… crap… I'm sure she'll be fine!" Ruby smiled.
"I calculate a… 51% chance of survival,"
"There's more of a chance she survives…" Yang shrugged. "That's a plus,"
"Oh dear cool murder robot Penny, don't die, watching you kill stuff is really fun," Nora prayed to the screen, Ren shrugged and prayed too, silently.
Pyrrha giggled and shook her head. "They're completely insane,"
"Yup," Jaune agreed.
Penny dropped down into a… flooded elevator room, the water going right up to her knees, the robotic girl shivered for a minute before exiting the elevator.
WRATH CLIMAX / LEVIATHAN
She entered a long island of stone what felt like thousands of feet underwater, she could hear and see the sullen below her, laying still on the bottom floor of the Ocean Styx, and saw the Wrathful husks fighting above her. She pressed the blue button on the rocket launcher, shot a rocket in front of her and jumped on it, riding on the rocket and quickly travelling above the stone path, the toll of bells could be heard around her.
"Surprised she wasn't already flying considering those wings," Yang mused. "Like… did she just not wanna use them or something?" The blonde chuckled.
"They're stylish, all that matters," Coco huffed.
Flashing came from the top of the ocean, probably lightning striking down onto the sinners within the water. As she continued to travel through the water she saw the outline of a Serpent, thousands of feet tall swimming above her as she began to move upward.
The audience shivered as they saw the Sea Serpent.
She breached the water and landed on a wooden platform, the water in front of her began to bubble, and bubble until-
ROAR
The Sea Serpent, or at least a Serpentine mass of flesh armoured by bones roared at her, nearly deafening Penny as she jumped on another one of her own rockets and began to fly through the air.
The snake opened its mouth, launching itself towards her attempting to eat the machine whole, the Demon's jaws just barely missed Penny and the rocket; she saw the heart of the Serpent on the top of his head, a mass of flesh in the shape of a screaming person pinned down by spears made of heavenly light, screams of utter agony belted out of the wide open mouth of the heart.
"That's the Leviathan," Penny explained without any prompting, fear in her eyes. "A Demon made up of the souls who elected to sunk to the bottom of the Ocean Styx, their souls trapped within the heart on the top of its head; unable to escape due to the spears holding them down,"
Winter gulped. "I did that didn't I?"
"Y-Yes, sorry," Penny apologised.
Winter sighed. "Every time,"
She whiplashed onto the screaming heart, attaching three magnets to the upper part of its back, launching both saws and nails into the screaming figure. Somehow causing it to scream louder than it already was, the Leviathan arched its back, launching Penny thousands of feet into the air. It faced her and shot thousands of hell orbs out of its mouth.
Penny rode on another rocket, weaving between each and every one of them, even managing to punch a few back into its mouth as she began to shoot coins into the exposed heart.
Penny smiled, pure confidence within her eyes-
The Leviathan's tail whipped out out of the air, the Leviathan arched backwards prepared to launch itself. Penny fell towards the ground at a speed that would kill the robot, the Serpent launched its head towards said robot-
PLINK
Penny punched it straight in the forehead, cracking the bone revealing the vulnerable flesh underneath, it reeled back and roared in pain as Penny grappled onto and pulled himself towards the heart again, the creatures bleeding head healed the wounds caused by being launched into the air. She shot shotgun blast after shotgun blast into the screaming heart, blowing off a chunk off of its head. The Leviathan tried to shake her off but Penny used the whiplash to hold on tight, not letting up for even a second as she shot magnets and a screwdriver into it to cause yet more damage. The Leviathan began to attempt to swim under the water-
POOM
A strike of lighting hit the heart, the Leviathan and the Heart screamed loud enough that it nearly made Penny go deaf as the lightning launched her back first onto the platform, she groaned in pain as the Demon's bones and flesh broke apart into pieces, a shower of blood healing Penny's wounds.
Ruby let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. "Penny won, woooooo!"
"Quick and efficient… also terrifying," Glynda mused.
"At least they're resting," Yang shrugged. "Penny… sorta did a good thing?"
"I guess," Blake shrugged too.
A whirlpool formed where the Leviathan once stood, a hole in place of an exit elevator held within, Penny jumped down and moved onto the next layer of Hell…
"Alright, now time for the-" Ruby was interrupted.
"FATHER, WHY ETERNAL TORMENT? IS IT NOT CRUEL? IS TORTURE UNENDING TRULY A FATE FIT FOR A FOOL?" A feminine voice, easily identified as Salem asked, presumably to the God that had been writing these testaments, speaking of him, she spoke once again.
"AN ANGEL SO BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL ASKED ME THIS… AND I COULD FIND NO ANSWER, FOR I COULD NEVER FACE THE GUILT OF WHAT I'D DONE… MY REGRET, A GNAWING CANCER," He spoke as if tears were forming in his eyes, the regret evident in his quiet tone. "IN MY HOUR OF WEAKNESS, TERROR POSSESSED ME THEN, AND I CAST SALEM, TOO, INTO THE INFERNAL DEN ONCE I REALIZED WHAT I HAD JUST DONE… I COULD ONLY WEEP AS I SANK SLOWLY INTO THE DEPTHS OF DESPAIR… DEEP, OH SO DEEP,"
"So he sent me to Hell… rude," Salem pouted, like a child and not like the thousand year old weirdo Grimm woman thingy she was.
"What a petulant little fool," Tyrian squinted at the screen. "How could any being every curse our lady!"
"Yeah, truly undeserved, she did nothing wrong," Slays rolled his eyes. "Next tape Jimmy,"
Jimmy made those classic monkey noises, as they were the only noises he could make. He put the next tape in as Qrow woke up.
