Day 201, 2:00 PM

"We're going to die," Mineta cries, "I don't want to die!"

"We're not going to die," Kaminari shuts his friend up, "we're not going to die." He looks around, trying to find an opening in this cie volcano. "Damn, but it is going to be hard surviving though."

"We gotta lead the zombies away," Kuroiro suggests. "But in this state, we're in no condition to run."

"And those bastards aren't going to be going away anytime soon," Jirou confirms. "They're going to wait for us to die slow and painfully. If we try anything, they're going to use their quirks on us. Either way, they're going to kill us."

"I still got a gun on me," Kaminari remembers, "I don't remember how many bullets I got but-"

"No guns," Jirou orders, "a gun will just bring more zombies and surround us." Jirou looks up. "We're going to have to wait for this quirk or whatever to wear off."

"Who knows how long that will take?" Komori suddenly shouts. "And if we wait too long, Mineta's balls above us will fall and trap us to the ground."

Mineta slaps his head. "I did not think this through."

"We're in this together," Jirou reminds them. "Stay calm." Jirou lays her head on the ground. Come on, Kyouka, think. Okay, think of everything around us. Okay, those bastards are on the rooftop of the school watching us, we're trapped in an ice volcano that is freeing us and we can't get out through the top because of Mineta's balls, and the ice is slowly melting and putting us at risk for the zombies.

Her eyes widen. "Guys," she whispers, "I think I have an idea." She lifts her head up and looks at the members of the Kamisquad. "This is going to be risky but... do you have the nails on you, Kaminari?"

Kaminari manages to reach into his pocket and pull out two rusty nails for his revolver. "Right here, why?"

"This is my plan," Jirou whispers to them the plan.

"This is going to be a close one," Komori pants.

"You can say that again," Kuroiro nods. "Hold on." Kuroiro puts his hands on the ground and pushes himself up like he is doing a push-up. He groans internally as his body lifts off the ground but still feels a weight the size of a sledgehammer pushing down on his back. Kuroiro lifts his left leg and lets out a soft yelp. His eyes nearly bulge out of his head with his forehead sweating and veins producing from his temple. "It hurts!" he yells. He raises his right leg and stomps his foot into the ground. "Come on..."

"You can do it, Shihai," Kaminari encourages, "come on, pick yourself up."

Kuroiro removes his jacket and holds it above him. He spreads it out as wide as he can before he takes four nails from Kaminari and nails his jacket above him like putting a picture on the frame. Once the black jacket is nailed into place, he merges with the jacket.

"Alright, I'm up." He was halfway up the volcano. Just a few more feet and he could peek out of the volcano if the purple spheres above them were gone.

Jirou nods. "Get ready, Komori."

"Ready."

Jirou plugs her jacks into her boot speakers and aims for the very top of the volcano, focusing only on the very balls and the edges the balls stuck to. "Soundwave amplification." Jirou uses a concentrated attack of soundwaves and sends purple spheres flying through the top of the volcano and plunging outward.

Kuroiro grabs Komori and hauls her to her feet. He merges into his jacket, keeping one hand out to hold Komori, before sticking his upper body out once again and lifting Komori up.

"Time for you to be a bad little shroom," Kuroiro smiles.

With her head sticking out of the volcano, she spots the Isamu remnants on the roof, who watch with a mixture of awe, confusion, and shock on their faces.

"Peekaboo," Komori grins evilly.

On the rooftop, the Isamu Remnants prepare to attack the kids. They prepare to arm themselves with their quirks before they hesitate.

"Cough, cough," Tumble coughs and falls to the ground. "What's going on?" he chokes out.

Creeper grabs his throat, eyes going wide. "Oh god," he stutters.

"Aah," Brick yells. "My thr-throat!" He coughs violently and collapses to his knees. "AAH!"

Iceberg falls on his ass, coughing and hacking while keeping his hands pressed hard around his throat. He reaches into his mouth and finds something on his tongue. He pulls it out and realizes it's a mushroom. Once he removes that cap, another cap grows in its place, as well as one beside it, and then another one, and another one, with every inch of his mouth having a mushroom cap to choke and asphyxiate him.

"I got 'em!" Komori yells. She looks down at the horde of zombies surrounding the ice wall and makes mushrooms grow on the zombies' faces, covering their eyes, and plugging their mouths and ears with the vegetables.

Kuorio nods before putting the mushroom girl down. Komori reaches down and helps Mineta up. Kuroiro sticks Mineta out of the opening and Mineta throws his sticky balls at the four survivors on the roof, hitting them once more, sticking them to the ground and to each other.

"They're done for!" Mineta yells. "Still my turn!" He removes several more balls and tosses them at the zombies, sticking them to the ice volcano.

"Kaminari, pipe bomb!"

Kaminari takes out the last pipe bomb and tosses it to Mineta.

Mineta pushes the button and throws it in the opposite direction on the side of the volcano where the zombies aren't stuck in place. The zombies turn in the direction of the pipe bomb and limp toward the bomb with some of them sprinting for it. The zombies surround the pipe bomb, trampling over the small device, and growl at the top of their lungs. After a few seconds, the bomb goes off, severing the legs off of most of the runners and blowing the guts out of some walkers.

"Yes, I'm awesome!" Mineta yells.

Down in the ice volcano, Kaminari uses all his might to stand up, feeling some of the gravity in his body return to normal, and helps pick up Jirou.

Huh, weird.

One of the Isamu bastards amped up the gravity around them so the gravity would push them toward the ground, yet, when Kaminari pulls Jirou to her feet, she is somewhat weightless to him. There is still heavy gravity pushing Kaminari down but he endures it with sweat and protruding veins in his head while Jirou can barely stand for herself.

Then again, we were able to move our arms and Kuroiro was able to lift Mineta and Komori.

"Jirou, are you okay?" Kaminari asks as he throws her arm over his shoulder.

"I'm fine," Jirou manages. "Get down, guys!"

Kurorio and Mineta slide down the ice volcano. Jirou sees her moment.

"Concentrated soundwave." She plugs her jacks into her boots. "Let's do this."

She blasts the ice volcano in front of her, blowing a very small hole in the wall for them to fit through.

"Come on!" Kaminari shouts.

Kurorio stomps through the opening very slowly and grabs Komori by the hands once more. He pulls her through the hole and helps Kaminari and Jirou through.

"More zombies coming our way!" Mineta shouts. He turns and throws more balls at the zombies. "Take this, deadies!"

"I don't feel as heavy anymore," Kaminari mentions, "I think the quirk is wearing off."

"For you," Jirou complains.

"Yeah, for you," Komori also complains.

Huh, it seems like the effect wears off on men faster than women, Kaminari notes.

Kaminari lays Jirou on the ground with Kuroiro following his example, the two friends look at each other before they pull out their knives. They quickly head over to a crawling zombie and kill it before gutting it. Dragging the body over to the girls, they quickly cover them in zombie guts.

"Kuroiro, get them to safety," Kaminari yells. "I'm going after those bastards!"

"Sure thing." Kuroiro quickly covers himself in zombie guts before he drags the two girls to safety.

In the distance, zombies begin coming through from the woods, walker and runner variants but Kaminari does not doubt the possibility there might be a brainiac in the crowd.

Before Kuroiro manages to drag both girls through the school doors and shut them after Mineta comes through, he looks at the girls.

"Why won't you use your heartbeat distortion on them?"

"What if what those bastards said is true?" Jirou asks. "If I use my quirk, will I attract more zombies?"

"So our only option is to fight them without quirks?" Mineta sobs. "I don't want to fight a zombie without my quirk; zombies are hard enough to deal with already!"

"My quirk is useless in killing zombies," Komori says.

"We'll figure it out later," Jirou tells them. "Wait, where's Kaminari?"

Kuroiro drags the two girls into a nearby janitor's closet and waits patiently as Mineta closes the door. "He's going after those pricks."

"All by himself?"

"All by himself." Kuroiro looks at Mineta.

"Kaminari can take care of himself," Mineta comforts them.

With Kaminari

I can run, Kaminari internally smiles, I can run again!

Kaminari sprints across the field with the running zombies in tow behind, barely keeping up. Kaminari pulls up his mask and narrows his eyes. He leaps over a log, performing a dash vault, and lands on the other side with a loud thud. Looking over, he looks for a ladder to climb up to the roof before realizing that the way to the roof might be inside.

Eh, I'm already outside so I'll find a way in.

A runner leaps out in front of him. Kaminari slides across the ground near the runner's feet, missing its grasp by only a few inches before picking himself up. Performing a diving roll over a bench, he spots a dead car abandoned near the building, right under a lower portion of the roof.

Kaminari sprints for the car, leaps to the very top, and leaps up the wall like a cat, grabbing the edge of the lower roof's portion before hauling himself up. He sprints forward, performing a tictac up the wall twelve feet in front of him, and climbs to the top portion of the roof.

Sprinting for it, he pauses when he sees the four Isamu Remnants pulling themselves together, as well as pulling balls and mushrooms off their bodies. Brick was the first one to come to his senses, pry the mushrooms out of his eyes, and cough up the caps in his mouth. Looking at Kaminari, he growls and balls his fists. "YOU?!"

"Yes, me, the Denki!"

"Why don't you just die!'

Kaminari sprints for him. "Because I'm too cool to die!"

He tackles Brick to the ground, making the Isamu student land hard on his back before choking him.

"Indiscriminate Shock: 1.3 Million Volts!"

Kaminari discharges the electricity and sends it flying all over the roof. Creeper and Iceberg have no time to react as they're hit with a wave of electricity. Tumble couldn't even contribute, even if he wanted to, with him being held down by his own quirk. Brick, Creeper, Iceberg, and Tumble scream at the top of their lungs as the electricity sends them into a pained frenzy.

With their throats drying from screaming, they collapse to the ground as soon as Kaminari powers down, going unconscious and smelling of barbeque.

Sighing heavily, Kaminari calms down and looks at his handiwork of the four remnants on the ground. "We did," he smiles. "We fucking did it."

~YEAH!~

2:30

"Grand slam!"

Kuroiro whacks Iceberg with a baseball bat he found in the janitor's closet. Knocking the boy out, he turns to Brick, who Kaminari yeets to the ground after hogtying him with duct tape. Brick lands beside his other teammates and looks up in terror at the UA students. Brick was the only one conscious so there was only him to talk to.

"What is your problem?" Kaminari snaps.

"I could ask the same thing to you," Brick retorts.

"Brick, is that your name? What kind of mother names their child 'Brick'?"

"It's not my fucking given name, dumbass. And you killed our two friends. Ratchet, Textile, you fucking killed them!"

"We gave them a fucking warning," Kaminari yells, "they didn't take their hands out of their pocket."

"You're supposed to be heroes, not killers."

"And aren't you guys supposed to be heroes too? Romero, Tadan, Sekigai, Habuko, Asami, Hisao, Eziou, Katsuya, you were all training to be heroes. What the fuck happened?"

"The apocalypse happened, bitch!'

Kuroiro slaps the metal baseball bat into his hand mockingly. "Choose your next words carefully, punk, or I'll practice my baseball skills on your head." After slapping the baseball bat thrice in his hand, he grips it hard and holds it above Brick. "I'll grab some barbed wire and Lucille the hell out of your head, bitch!"

"Fuck you," Brick snaps like a dog.

"You know, I could've said 'Batter Up' when I whacked the living hell out of your friend but I didn't, because it is generic. Don't make me yell 'Batter Up' and swing at you."

"Go to hell!"

Kaminari kicks him in the chin. Brick sits up, only for Kaminari to deliver an uppercut kick to the jaw, falling unconscious afterward.

"Why did you do that, Kaminari?" Kuroiro looks horrified. "I was about to get him acquainted with my stolen baseball bat."

"No, there's no need."

Kaminari grabs Kuroiro and drags him away. They reunite with Jirou, Komori, and Mineta on the other side of the roof, the girls sitting on the ground, sweating profusely.

"How are you guys doing?" Kaminari asks.

"The gravity quirk or push-down quirk or whatever is finally wearing off," Jirou answers, "but my muscles are still sore."

"No worries, ladies," Mineta smirks, "good old Mineta will be here to help massage your muscles and make you feel good."

Jirou looks at him. "Put your hands on, I'll slaughter you."

"That's now what I meant, idiot."

Jirou looks over. "What's going on with our four best friends over there?"

"They're unconscious, all of them, but..." Kaminari pauses, "We're trying to figure out what to do with them."

"We should kill them," Kuroiro suggests. "Kill them and be done with it."

"No," Kamianri shakes his head, "I can't do it. I can't kill someone."

"What about Ratchet and Textile?"

"I didn't have a choice in the matter; it was life-or-death and it's pretty easy to guess which one I chose."

"Then I'll kill them." Kuroiro nods firmly. "I'll play baseball with them." He waves the bat once again. "I'll make it quick, while they're still unconscious." Suddenly, he pauses and looks like he is about to throw up. Looking over, he spots the four teenagers unconscious once more before looking forward, wincing.

"No," Komori speaks up suddenly, "please, Kuroiro, no."

The shadow merger looks at her, his face still one expressing shock and awe before he closes his mouth and then his eyes.

"We should kill them," Kuroiro repeats. "They know who we are. They know we're UA students. They could take a trip to UA High to look for us."

"UA High is overrun," Kamianrin reminds him. He lowers the volume so he's whispering. "Besides... they won't find the UA dorms."

Kuroiro copies his tone and volume. "But we shouldn't take any chances."

"Heroes don't kill people," Komori argues.

"We're not heroes, Komori, we're survivors. It's not about right or wrong anymore; it's about surviving."

"Those kids probably went here to this hero school and they tried to kill us," Jirou points out. "We don't know what Ratchet and Textile's quirks were but we gave them a fair chance and warning to not provoke us."

"Kaminari did what he had to," Mineta answers. "Honestly, I don't think I could've gone through with it."

"Guys," Kaminari begins, "I don't want to kill anyone. I didn't like killing Ratchet and Textile; I don't want to kill anyone else."

"Fine, if you won't then I'm sure that Kuroiro might want to contribute with his girlfriend in the form of a bat."

Kuroiro smiles before kissing the end of the bat. "While my baseball bat enjoys the warm feeling of my lips, she sure is a... switch-hitter."

"I don't get it; You need to work on your one-liners, man," Mineta mockingly scolds. "F."

"Whatever."

"Guys, please," Kaminari begs, "can we just vote on what to do with these guys? Honestly, I don't want to kill them."

"But if we don't kill them, there's a chance they'll follow us back to our hideout."

"What if we took them prisoner?"

"We live in a dorm system, not a prison. Besides, I do not feel comfortable with these men sleeping under the same roof where Komori sleeps. And I'm sure you wouldn't like that with Jirou."

Kaminari blushes slightly before licking his lips. "Can't we just leave them? They're unconscious and if we leave right now, they'll never know where we went."

"And what if they have friends? What if there's more of them?"

"We got what we wanted. We got a backpack full of pasta and a container of frosting; I'd say that's a win."

"Why did we hesitate?" Jirou questions. "We fought villains before and killed zombies but... when it came to fighting a bunch of random survivors, we hesitated, why?"

Komori strokes her chin. "It's probably because you were unsure."

"What do you mean?"

Mineta clicks his tongue. "I think what Mushroom Girl is saying is that when we fought the League of Villains, it was easier because they were villains and it was clear as day that they were villains. On the other hand these guys, were just random survivors. You were unsure if you should kill or attack them because you didn't understand."

The four survivors look at their pervy friend with wide eyes, the short boy smiling and wagging a finger at them. "Call me 'Mintera the Philosopher'."

"They're not good people," Jirou says, "they were going to wait for us to die in the ice volcano; I heard it on my jacks."

"And they attacked us without us provoking them," Kaminari tells them.

"But we did kill their friend," Komori says softly.

"That was my fault and I have to live with it."

Jirou plugs her jacks into the ground and listens carefully. "They're still unconscious but who knows for how long." She retracts her jack. "Also, that whole thing about quirks attracting zombies..."

"We'll worry about that later," Kuroiro tells her, "right now, we need to figure out what to do with these four bastards."

"Let's just get this stagnate debate over and put a vote to it," Kaminari finally says. "There's five of us so we're going to need a three-fifths vote."

"Really?" Kuroiro looks at him with narrow eyes. "We're going to decide the fate of these guys and our possible future on a democratic cote?"

"Do you see any other way, bro?"

Kuroiro ponders before sighing. "I guess not." He looks over at Komori. "So..."

"All in favor of killing these four bastards?" Jirou announces.

Kuroiro and Jirou raise their hands.

Kaminari flinches Jirou. "All in favor of sparing these bastards and leaving them for the zombies?"

Kaminari and Komori raise their hands.

The four kids look over to the only one without a vote.

"Congratulations, short stuff; you're the tie-breaker," Jirou says, "it's up to you."

"Do you want these dicks alive or do you want us to cut them down in half?" Kurorio does the honor of asking.

Mineta looks at Kuroiro before looking at Jirou. Unsure of himself, he looks at Kaminari, who stares back at him with sad puppy eyes. Taking one last glance at the four unconscious, hogtied bastards, he clenches his fists and tightens his jaw. "Let's just leave. Let's just get out of here and leave."

"So..."

"Let's just ignore these guys and go home. Please?"

Kaminari grunts and closes his eyes. "So that's three for sparing these people."

Kuroiro clenches his fingers hard around the bat's handle. "You guys are making a mistake in sparing these guys; we did kill their friends. They're going to want revenge." He waves the bat around. "Let me make an example of them real quick."

As Kuroiro turns, Brick awakens from his painful slumber in time to see Kurorio take a swing at him. The bat connects with Brick's back, hitting him between the shoulder blades and forcing him to roll on his side.

"Hello, Brick, always a pleasure to get to hit you with a bat." Kuroiro kneels before the broken kid. "Listen to me very carefully: you may want to get revenge on me and my gang for killing your friends but my group is not one you want to fuck with. You caught us off-guard but imagine what the rest of our teammates will do. No matter how many guys you have alive with you, it'll never be enough. We could kill you right here and now but we decided to be merciful. This is your one... and only... warning. Stay. Away. From us."

Brick grits his teeth and winces upon seeing the baseball bat hit him before his vision goes black.

2:45 PM

Climbing into the jeep from earlier after directing the zombie horde away, Kuroiro jumps in the driver's seat and takes off once the others settle in. Kaminari hops on his bike and starts it up. He speeds up, riding beside the jeep with the backpack on his back. Sighing heavily, he pulls down his mask so he can breathe and looks over to Jirou in the rear passenger seat.

He moves his bike closer to the jeep so he can have a face-to-face with Jirou. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay," she nods slowly. "Well, as okay as can be expected."

"Good to know. Also, I just wanted to say that the plan you came up with so we can escape was brilliant. We probably would've been mincemeat without you."

"Hey, that guy's quirk wore off faster on men than it did on women so you and boys take equal credit."

"We all played our part, no matter how small that part may be." Kaminari looks forward. "By the way, why did you vote on killing the guy?"

"I don't want to talk about. Not here, at least."

'It's okay, I understand. We can talk when we get back to school."

"Hey, Kaminari," Kuroiro calls out, "speaking of school, we can never, ever come back to Isamu."

Kaminari nods. "Definitely. Let's just avoid this school altogether unless absolutely necessary. When we get back, we can celebrate our survival with eh rest of that frosting."

"Now that sounds like heaven," Mineta lisps.

"Yeah, I could go for some frosting, shroom," Komori sighs.

"You got that right, mushroom girl," Jirou nods.

Before Kuroiro could reply, he spots something in the distance ahead. From a distance, it looks like a bug but as he gets closer, he realizes that this buy is human-sized.

It's a survivor!

"Help me!" the survivor shouts, waving his hands over his head like someone direct air traffic. "Please, help me!"

"Slow down," Komori tells the driver.

"What if it's a trap?" Kuroiro doesn't let his foot off the gas. "What if he's with those guys who attacked us?"

"What if he isn't?"

Kuroiro shakes his head. "No, I'm not taking that risk."

The crying survivor shouts again for them to stop and help him. He continues to stand in the middle of the street, waving his arms without rest before he looks to the left where the first stands tall.

A beast tramples through the forest, knocking several trees away before catching up to the survivor. The crying survivor screams bloody murder and tries to make a break for it but it is in vain as the beast raises both hands above its head and smashes them down into the survivor.

"Oh my god!" Kuroiro screams in terror at the monster suddenly appearing in their path. He stomps on the brake without thinking before he takes his leg off but the damage is already done: the screeching sounds of the tire skidding across the ground let the bloodthirsty beast know that there were more survivors for it to kill and yes, it wanted to kill them.
