Hey all! Back with chapter 20! Hope you enjoy!

It'd been a week since Chase's mysterious encounter with Draven, and nothing out of the ordinary had occurred, so pretty everyone–including Chase–had forgotten about the shadowy villain.

Chase still knew that Draven was up to something bigger, but he didn't know exactly what, and Garmadon was only getting stronger by every passing minute, so without everyone on board, Chase couldn't do anything about Draven.

At school that day, Chase had decided to go to the library during his lunch period. Kara was absent today–the school thought it was some family emergency, but she had told Chase that she needed to spend a day in the woods to satisfy her fox form. Apparently, if she didn't, her fox form would turn on her–or something like that. Chase didn't quite understand, but he believed her, especially after she told him the truth.

He scanned the shelfs of the library. He really didn't expect to find anything since Draven seemed like a relatively new villain, and even if he was well-known, the school wouldn't provide knowledge on forces of evil, most likely.

After a half hour of searching and finding absolutely nothing, he thought he might have a better chance at Sensei Wu's library of scrolls and made a mental note to check it out when he got back to the bounty.

Just as the clock ticked one o'clock, signaling the start of his first period after lunch, he felt the tingling sensation coursing through his veins. That could only mean one thing–he was about to have a vision.

Not wanting to make himself public while experiencing the vision, he quickly ran into the bathroom and locked himself in a stall, closing his eyes in anticipation. He expected the worst, as his visions were never good, and that's exactly what he got.

His vision went black as his mind concentrated on displaying the vision. It was a blurry one with lots of colors, but Chase had learned how to read certain Easter eggs in the visions. He learned what certain symbols represented.

All Chase could make out was a blob of purplish-black–a sign that undoubtedly represented Garmadon and his forces. Right in front of the blob were six colors, each one representing a ninja. The blob reached out, striking the green and grayish-blue ninja blobs with such force that they burst. The black blob did the same with the other colors, but not as strongly.

Then the vision stopped, and Chase was dragged back into reality. He shook himself off, frightened. Despite the blurriness of the vision, Chase knew exactly what it meant. Garmadon was coming after the ninja with forces stronger than ever before, and his main targets this time were Lloyd and Nya.

Chase pondered this a bit. Why Lloyd and Nya? He didn't know. But what he did know was that he was now five minutes late to class. He bolted out of the bathroom and down the hall into his English class.

He stopped at the doorway, catching his breath and taking in all the eyes staring at him for his tardiness.

"Chase, we do not appreciate tardiness," the English teacher said in a stern voice.

"Sorry, miss, it won't happen again." Chase bowed his head.

"It better not. See me after class. We'll chat then. For now, please take your seat." Chase nodded, his cheeks flushing as he sat down at his respective table.

Throughout the entire class, Chase couldn't focus. His mind was so busy trying to pinpoint exactly why Nya and Lloyd were the targets that when the teacher called on him to answer something, he just sat there, embarrassed for not paying attention.

This made the teacher continuously more frustrated with Chase, as even after being called out, Chase couldn't allow his mind to focus on the subject.

As soon as the bell rang, students rushed to pack their things and head to their next period, but Chase just stayed there, rooted to his seat, trying to concentrate. His mind hadn't been able to formulate an answer during class, so now that everyone was gone, maybe he'd finally be able to.

But he forgot about his talk with the English teacher. He watched in dread as she called him over to her teacher's table.

Chase reluctantly packed up his things and made his way there, dreading the conversation.

"Chase, I do not appreciate your tardiness to class. That is something we don't tolerate. But on top of that, you weren't even paying attention? That behavior is unacceptable. As a result–" Then suddenly, it clicked as to why Lloyd and Nya were the targets.

"I've got it!" He yelled out loud.

The teacher looked flustered. "Excuse me?"

"Sorry," Chase mumbled, once again embarrassed.

The teacher cleared her throat. "As I was saying, as a result of your misbehavior, I will be sending you home with a note." She folded up a piece of paper and handed it to Chase. "Please give this to a parent or legal guardian."

This got Chase thinking. He didn't have parents–they were dead–and he technically didn't have legal guardians. Sure, the ninja were his guardians, but no papers were officially signed, meaning he didn't have a legal guardian. But the teacher didn't have to know that. He'd just not give it to anybody.

"Okay, miss. See you tomorrow." Chase walked down the hall, crumpling the paper in his hand and throwing it in the trash without bothering to read it.

He'd finally figured out the likely reason for why Nya and Lloyd were the targets. Lloyd should have been obvious to Chase–he was Garmdon's son and had a very valuable elemental power. By targeting him, Garmadon would be in control of a very powerful element. Nya was most likely a target because of her connection with the water stone. Since Garmadon had possession of it, with Nya close by, her water powers could be unimaginably powerful, and Garmadon would most likely use that to his advantage.

Chase was so excited that he'd figured it out and so worried for the upcoming attack of Garmadon that he decided to leave school right now in order to warn the others.

He skipped into the principal's office, but the principal wasn't at her desk. Without bothering to look for her, Chase decided to just leave. Being in trouble at school was the least of his worries.

He bolted out the door and ran all the way back to the bounty without stopping. He found Zane and Nya working on some stuff in the garage when he arrived. They both looked at him with confused looks.

"Chase, you're supposed to be in school," Nya said.

"Yes, why exactly are you out so early?" Zane questioned. Both of them stopped what they were doing.

"Guys, I have something important to tell you guys, but I need everyone to be present." This seemed to convince them to listen to Chase. Nya knew that Chase probably had another vision, and she knew that his visions were no joke.

Chase rushed inside to find Kai, Cole, and Jay playing video games and Lloyd brewing something in the kitchen.

"Guys, I need to tell you something. Please, everyone come over here."

"What is it, buddy?" Cole asked, not looking up from the screen.

"It's important."

"Hey, aren't you supposed to be in school?" Kai asked.

"Yes, but that's besides the point. Now, please, can you come over?"

"Alright, I guess," Jay said, setting down his controller.

When he finally had everyone seated at the kitchen table, he began.

"So, today at school, I had another vision." Now he had everyone's attention.

"Well, what did you see?" Lloyd urged.

"I saw Garmadon. It was a warning. His forces are coming to attack us even stronger than ever."

"Yikes," Cole said.

"But that's not all," Chase continued, desperate for them to listen to this crucial information. "Garmadon is targeting certain ninja." The ninja all gasped.

"Which ninja? Do you know?" Kai pried.

"Lloyd and Nya."

"What?" Lloyd and Nya said in unison, utterly confused.

"Why?" Jay asked, sounding frightened for yang being in potential danger.

"I don't know for sure, but I think for Lloyd it obviously has to do with him being the son of Garmadon and also wielding one of the most valuable elements. For Nya, I think it has to do with her connection to the water stone, which we all know Garmadon has possession of."

"So what can we do about it?" Nya asked.

"I'm not sure," Chase said, disappointed in himself for not having an answer.

"Hey, kid, you did more than enough, warning us with your vision," Cole said, reassuring Chase.

"Yes, Cole is right," Zane agreed. "And what we can do is be extra prepared for Garmadon's attacks."

"Exactly. Well, there's no time to waste. Let's get to training," Lloyd said. Everyone then got up and started training. All except Zane and Nya, who at that moment began to prepare dinner. Chase helped with dinner, relieved in a way that he could warn the ninja, but also frightened for this next attack.

But all they could do for now was prepare as much as possible.
