Between the running and the fog, I know that my body is being pushed more than it can take right now. I won't be able to last much longer like this. I find some water and crawl over to it, reaching the edge and sticking my hand in slowly. At least I can splash some water on me and maybe cool off a little bit. Maybe the water will help sooth my aching body. I can't hold back the scream that rips it's way out of my throat as my hand burns as though I'm being stung by the poison again. It was hard running with my stomach stretched out and the ground being uneven. Not only was I carrying extra weight, I wasn't steady on my feet like before. Peeta is holding onto me to help me move, when I feel him slip. As he falls he takes us with him. I fall on my side to prevent my stomach taking the primary blow. My hand hurts to have Peeta touching it, but I can live with a little bit of pain if it means we get Peeta and ourselves out of the fog. We continue walking, staying a couple inches ahead of the fog, until I slip suddenly as we reach the top of a hill. I have no time to react before we all begin to fall, hitting the ground and rolling the rest of the way down the hill. I grab my stomach, my first thought being if I had just hurt our baby. I feel the baby kick and take a breath, surely a kick is a good sign. It means my baby is alive. I look up at the fog descending upon us and a hold onto my stomach, whispering to my baby. I can't get up, I can't run from the fog anymore. All I can do is tell our baby how loved it is and close my eyes, waiting for the pain to start before it kills me./p

The fog wouldn't come here and, at least for now, this was a safe place. I sit up, the pain shooting through my body. I look down at the water, preparing to take my hand out as I see a misty fog being pulled from the blisters as they subside. The water is drawing out the poison. /p
