"Emmy everything okay, as you seem a lil sad. Is it to do with Moonie as Rocket told me what happened after she got arrested." Emily heard Indigo ask her. "Not good Indy, I've felt better." Emily replied to her sniffling. It was a while and after finding out Moonie had gotten arrested by the Novacore, Emily had decided to split up with Moonie plus Rocket had explained to her, Drax was also mad at Moonie and it didn't affect him and Drax being Guardians relieving her but she still felt hurt which Indigo sensed.
"It'll be okay, plus I'm here because as your IF, it's my job to look out for you." Emily told Indigo as they were sitting on the couch watching Captain Planet like they always did every morning along with drinking coffee only Emily was taking a break from teaching knowing herstudents were happy to have a subsistute teacher who would let them do their own thing but Indigo knew she wasn't in the right state to teach which Rocket had told her to take a break and come back when she felt ready, even the dean of the university agreedon this which had made Emily sigh.
After Captain Planet, Emily crawled back into bed which Indigo was cook withsnugglingher knowing hugs helped others feel better when hurting and to her, Emily was hurting so wanted to make her feel better hearing Emily thank her.
"How's Emily doing, as Moonie kept trying to call her to say she's sorry, only Emmy's ignoring her which is agood thing and bet Indigo's helping her out. You said IFs hello with big changes and what'sgoing on with Moonie is a big change for Emily." Nebula asked Rocket. "That's true honey, plus she's been going ti Ms Chen'sconvience store a lot recently guessingshe'sbeen eating chocolate, to help." he told her making Nebula surprised. But later that night, Emily couldn't sleep so was getting up to make herself a drink as she and Indigo had bought hot cocoa mix at Ms Chen's store making herself some as chocolate was something her grandpa Venom loved along with her knowing he hada thing for Ms Chen as she'd asked her aboht him.
"Mmmmmmnn hot cocoa with marshmallowsand guess you couldn't sleep huh. Did you tell Grandpa Venom Ms Chen was asking about him." Indigo asked her. "I'll tell him when we see him next time but thanks for helping sibce I'm not feeling myself after you know." Emily told her. She then saw messages from her Brute Force team-mates saying they'd heard what happened and told her she could come back to the beach house which Indigo thoughtva good idea seeing Emily nodding packing and transpirting her to Florida and the Brute Force HQ seeing Soar hug her alomg with the rest of the team along with Indigo. "Thanks guys as I need this." she mumbled.
