Disclaimer: The old/canon Naruto is not actually used much at all in this story and a new last name, and an adjusted personality (Will be different an extent) will be placed for obvious reasons if you clicked on a story like this, but I am so sorry if I got your hopes up for the original canon character, but tbh making the canon Naruto character and abilities is wayyy too boring, so I hope you understand, HOWEVER, I will work chakra into the story somehow, so just bare with me it's not totally ditching Naruto's character and powers.
Chapter 2: Maniacal Acting
Timeskip - 10 Years Later
We see a rainy day with dark ominous sky over a small empty warehouse where we see a film crew about to film the last episode of the manga series "I'll go with sweet today." Two of the more recognizable people among the crew though are part of the main cast, one of them being female with red eyes and matching short red hair cut into a bob with bangs over her forehead, this girl is known as Kana Arima, a famous child actor known for being able to cry in under 10 seconds. Standing next to Kana we see a short blonde haired boy with the left side of his hair being longer than the right, covering most of his right eye with it barely being visible through the cracks of his hair, more notably though his eyes are a ocean blue with the right eye containing a star that shines bright, letting his eye be one of the more attracting parts to his character, this boy is known as Aqua Hoshino, the biological son of Ai Hoshino and the adopted son of Miyako Saitou.
"With TV dramas, the actors gather to do a read through and a rehearsal, and based on that, the chief director or the director creates the story boards, then there's an on location rehearsal, camera rehearsal, and a full run through before the actual filing starts, but we could only secure this location for one day, so all those single things I told you are being combined into a single rehearsal, we only get a single practice run." Kana explains to Aqua, who raises an eyebrow at it in dismiss.
"Pretty sloppy I'd say, even my director's more thorough than that." Aqua says with chagrin, causing Kana to shrug her shoulders with a sweat drop.
"We don't have the budget or the time." Kana says with no other answer or explanation.
"Hey there Kana." A male voice calls out lazily.
"Hm?/Huh?" Aqua and Kana mumble out respectively before turning their attention to the warehouse door to see a boy with amber eyes and short magenta hair that curls up at the ends, like the character he plays, being the main male of the tv series, he wears a white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up under a black vest alongside gray dress pants and black shoes.
"The rain's crazy today, I wish they would have postponed filming." The magenta haired boy says with annoyance blatant on his face whilst rubbing a strand of his magenta colored hair through his fingers.
"It seems we've got a few leaks in the roof, but I think we'll be fine." Kana says with a reassuring gesture.
"All this weather sucks! I hate how damp it is, plus this humidity makes my hair frizzy." The magenta boy retorts, giving off childish complaints about the whole thing in the process and causing Kana to chuckle nervously with a sweatdrop before gesturing to Aqua on her right.
'Oh lemme introduce you! This is my friend, he'll be playing the stalker today." Kana says with an eye smile whilst Aqua bows his head lightly in respect.
"I'm Aqua, I look forward to wor-"
"Yeah sure." The magenta boy says arrogantly, interrupting the blonde in the process without a care in the world whilst walking past Aqua with overconfidence.
"Well he's got a bad attitude, he didn't even introduce himself." Aqua says with a bit of distaste to Kana's chagrin.
"His name is Melt Narushima. Well, he's the lead and he's young, it's actually pretty common for rising stars to behave like that." Kana says in disappointment before putting a hand to her chin with a sweatdrop. "I guess I'm kinda bashing myself by saying that…."
"You say that, but when you acted like that you were only three years old, it's unfair to judge yourself like that, Ms. Arima." Ichigo Saitou says with a smile while walking in the warehouse with a much older and taller Naruto Uzui behind him on his left whilst walking with a walking cane, his starry left crimson red and right cobalt blue heterochromic eyes shining bright like Aqua's single ocean blue one, surprising Aqua at Ichigo making a sudden appearance.
"I-Ichigo, what are you doing here?" Aqua asks with surprise, the shock clear on his face.
"I'm here on business, but enough of that, it's been a while Aqua, you're looking good kid, just look how much taller you've gotten!" Ichigo says with a smile.
"Don't try to change the subject, now answer the question, why are you here? And where have you been?" Aqua asks with an annoyed look, causing Ichigo to sweatdrop nervously.
"I uh….well I actually had a talk with Miyako a while back and have decided to take a break away from the agency, in the meantime though I've been managing some young talents like yourself, let me introduce you." Ichigo says with a smile, gesturing to his left and drawing Aqua's attention toward Naruto, causing the pure blonde boy to look at him with recognition.
"Hey there it's nice to finally meet you, I've heard a lot about you from the president, my name's Naruto Uzui, but you can just call me Naruto, I hate all the formalities ya know." Naruto says with a small wave before smiling. "And like you I also work under strawberry productions." Naruto says with a grin toward the pure blonde.
"It's nice to meet you too, I'm Aqua Hoshino, but for the sake of simplicity and respecting your preference, you can just call me Aqua." Aqua says with a smile, bowing toward Naruto in the process and hiding the dark abyssal change to the star in his eye. "Naruto Uzui….he's the one who plays the female lead's childhood best friend turned evil, I've seen his performances on the show…..and I have to admit…..he's the best actor in this show….not even Kana can outdo him…." Aqua thought with certainty in his inner voice. "If I want to make connections in the industry…..I have to befriend him.
"Ah, Ichigo, long time no see, I'm glad to see that you could make it." A tall man with brown eyes and short blonde hair wearing a casual white long sleeved coat over a black shirt and gray pants with casual shoes says with a smile, waving his hand in a friendly gesture toward the blonde business man.
"Indeed Mr. Kaburagi, how long has it been now, a decade?" Ichigo says, smiling back before gesturing to Naruto. "You've already met my talent, Naruto."
"Yo, how's it going, old producer guy." Naruto says with a grin plastered on his face, causing Kana and Aqua to look at him in shock whilst Ichigo scowls and smacks the heterochromic red blonde over the head in comedic anger. "Hey what was that for!?"
"What have I told you about calling people stuff like that! You can't just go around without any manners, it's rude, show a little respect to Mr. Kaburagi would ya!" Ichigo says in annoyance, causing the claimed "old producer guy" to chuckle to himself, drawing both their attention.
"Don't worry about it, let the kid do what he wants, I mean he's already carrying you and your agency with his display of amazing performances and astonishing good looks, I mean I have to say this is the first time I've ever worked with a talent with heterochromia." Kaburagi says with amazement in his voice, causing Naruto to give him a curious look.
"Really? Is hetero what's its name really that special?" Naruto asks in confusion, causing everyone around the red blonde to look at him with shock.
"Of course it's special! It's one of the rarest conditions known to man, only 1 percent of people in the entire world have it!" Kana yells with disbelief at Naruto's obliviousness, causing the red blonde to sweat drop.
"O-oh….I guess it kind of is then…heh heh." Naruto says while nervously chuckling, being overwhelmed at the thought of his eyes being a rare case.
"You think!?" Everyone around Naruto thought with shock.
"Well that little scuffle aside I'm glad to be working with you." Kaburagi says with a smile before waving him goodbye.
"Hey, I know this might be a little sensitive of me to ask, but I've gotta know, what's with the cane?" Aqua asks questionably, causing Kana to look at the heterochromic boy with curiosity.
"I was actually wondering that too, I mean every time we're on set together filming you have no issue moving around, so why have it?" Kana asks with curiosity. "I would have asked earlier but I didn't want to be insensitive or anything."
"Wow, what a way to push the fall on me." Aqua thought with an annoyed sweatdrop.
"Oh no, you don't have to worry about it, it's not because I have a disability or anything, I just carry it around with me for aesthetics because it was a gift from someone precious to me." Naruto says with a warm smile, causing Kana to put a hand over her heart.
"Aw, that's so sweet of you." Kana says with a giggle of amusement whilst Ichigo sweat drops.
"Yeah it may seem like that, but in reality I feel like he just didn't want to embarrass Ai by not using the gift she got him on his 16th birthday." Ichigo thought in embarrassment.
"Whoops, guess I forgot only old people use these, my bad!" Ai Fushiguro's voice rings out with a small giggle in Naruto and Ichigo's head, causing the both of them to sweat drop at it.
"Ai…..even if it seems like a useless gift, to me it's special, and besides, you've given me the perfect ruse to protect you with." Naruto thought with a smile and black abyssal stars in his red and blue heterochromic eyes, gripping the curved handle of the black walking cane, revealing the hidden seal on it that allows only someone infusing chakra to unsheathe the attached hidden blade inside the cane like a katana and it's sheathe.
"It's time for rehearsal!" A female from the filming crew calls out for everyone to hear.
"Do you think that we'll actually get to my part in the rehearsal?" Naruto asks in curiosity while styling his hair to a more let down look (Karma Akabane's original/PTS hairstyle) after having put on a black dress jacket over a white collared dress shirt with the top button undone as well as gray dress pants and black dress shoes."I mean there's bound to have something go wrong right?"
"Yeah that may be true, but you should still be prepared, I mean you don't want to give a half assed performance right?" Ichigo asks the red blonde haired boy, causing him to sigh.
"Guess you have a point, I just wish that I didn't have to change my hairstyle every time for this." Naruto says in defeat, causing Ichigo to chuckle to Naruto's dismay.
"Yeah well you should already be used to this by now kid, that's just how it goes in the industry." Ichigo says with a shrug.
Timeskip - After The Rehearsal
"I hate it when I'm right, ya know." Naruto says with annoyance, having watched Melts cringey performance until having to stop due to a leak in the roof.
"Yeah, but at least the weather has given you another tool to use." Ichigo says with a snarky grin whilst pointing at the leaky roof.
"Huh…ya know, I think you're the right president." Naruto says with a smile before beginning to walk off.
"Hey, where are you going?" Ichigo calls out in confusion, causing Naruto to wave lazily.
"You gave me an idea and I'm going to pursue it." Naruto responds before looking back at Ichigo with a cheeky grin plastered on his face.
"Idea..? What the hell is that brat up to now?" Ichigo thought whilst Naruto begins walking away, closing his eyes and using the chakra in the nature around him to sense his surroundings.
"Let's see, where are you….." Naruto mumbles out while searching for a particular person before grinning. "Found you!"
Timeskip - 20 Minutes Later.
"How much longer do you think? We need to start filming, Melt's got a magazine shoot to get too." Kaburagi asks the director whilst checking his watch, taking a drag of the lit cigarette in his hand whilst the time flies by like the rain.
"We're almost ready, but don't worry, Kana's been comforting the cast for us." The director says with a smile whilst Kaburagi lets out a breath of smoke.
"Ah yes Kana, she's really easy to work with." Kaburagi says before smiling. "She does a nice job flattering just about everyone, so she's great to appoint for random roles, besides, Kana Arima, is more or less known to the public audience, but she's not the talent I have my eye on." Kaburagi says with a smirk.
"Ah, so you're more interested in the Uzui kid huh?" The director asks with a curious smile, causing Kaburagi to chuckle.
"Is it that obvious? I mean sure Kana is talented, but that kid has something special, even if he isn't in the center it's like he draws you into him like the way Ai did back in the day." Kaburagi says with a grin.
"You got that right, but how did you manage to even get the kid to work on this project? I mean with his talent and a manager like Ichigo Saitou watching after him, I doubt it's cheap to keep him the way he is." The director says with an unsure face, causing Kaburagi to smirk.
"That's the thing, I reached out to him before the project began to set up a deal, we came to an agreement that if Kana Arima was the female lead he'd be a part of the cast for cheap, course Ichigo wasn't too happy with him dealing with things on his own recklessly but eventually he had no choice but to come around too, the deal had already been done so there was no going back." Kaburagi says with a smile, confusing the director.
"Really? Seems like one hell of a deal, why would he do something so one-sided like that for Kana?" The director asks with confusion, causing Kaburagi to shrug.
"Who knows, the kid has a unique mind that's for sure, but I don't really care either way, now that Kana left her agency behind, her performance fee is cheap, we can leverage her name, and we get one of the best new generation actors out there on the show, ha heh ha, it's a two for one deal." Kaburagi says with a confident smirk. "This TV Drama is nothing more than promotional material, so having someone like him on the show will definitely give it more attention, even if he does steal it all in the end it at least gives the other rising stars a chance." Kaburagi says with a smile, snuffing out his cigarette and discarding it into an ashtray and leaving back inside unsuspectingly until Aqua walks up with a dull face.
"It's happening now, I'm finally being recognized for my ability!" Kana's excited voice mere moments before this rings out in Aqua's head.
"That's not the recognition she's earned…." Aqua says to himself gloomily before taking a few cigarettes out of the ash tray as DNA samples.
"You're right ya know." Naruto says suddenly, catching Aqua off guard and causing the boy to turn around with wide eyes.
"H-how long has he been standing there!? I didn't even hear him make a sound until now!"" Aqua thought with shock blatant on his face.
"I've been standing here the whole time ya know." Naruto says with a smile, catching Aqua off guard.
"D-did you just read my thoughts?" Aqua asks with confusion.
"No I just took a guess based on the look on your face, I mean anyone would be shocked if they didn't notice someone standing behind them." Naruto says with a smirk, causing Aqua to raise an eyebrow at him.
"Right….so I'm guessing you heard all of what Masaya Kaburagi said?" Aqua asks with curiosity, causing Naruto to nod. "So then you already know that he's just using Kana's cheap fees to get to you."
"Yeah, I know." Naruto says with an unmoving smile.
"So then why? Why work with him knowing that he doesn't care what happens to Kana or the show?" Aqua asks questioningly.
"To tell the truth I couldn't care less if he used me as promotional material or even if I don't get a lot from doing this, I just want Kana to shine in the spotlight." Naruto says with a warm smile, causing Aqua to raise an eyebrow.
"But why though? What happens to Kana doesn't concern you or Strawberry Productions, so why go out of your way to make her the main focus?" Aqua asks in blatant confusion.
"None of my concern? Sure it does, I mean as a brother who shares the same mother, it's only right that I look after her." Naruto says with a grin, widening Aqua's eyes.
"B-brother…? Kana hasn't ever mentioned or recognized you before so why should I believe what you're telling me?" Aqua asks skeptically, causing Naruto's grin to dull.
"You're perceptive Aqua, I'll give you that, but the reason Kana doesn't recognize me is because we never grew up together, hell I didn't even know we were related until my 10th birthday so I don't blame you, the mother Kana grew up with wasn't her real mother but rather a stand in, she abandoned Kana and her father in order to be with my dad, who in turn abandoned me after our mothers death of illness, guess you could say it was a form of divine judgment dealt upon her and me as her child set to live on my own, never to know who my parents were or what faces looked like." Naruto says sadly, causing Aqua to look at him with sympathy in his eyes. "Well, I was partially alone at least, but he doesn't need to know that yet."
"I see, I'm sorry that happened to you, in a way I can relate." Aqua says sadly before attempting to walk off.
"Wait just a second." Naruto says with a cheeky grin. "You thought I wouldn't notice you taking the old producers used cigarettes and not question it did you?" Naruto says with a smirk, widening Aqua's eyes in the process.
"Damn it! I totally forgot he saw me do that!" Aqua thought while sweating bullets.
"So tell me, what do you want those for, I mean it's only right you tell me since I told you my secret." Naruto says with a grin.
"I uh…..I'm taking them to help fix Japan's pollution." Aqua lies with the utmost caution in his words.
"How noble of you, I'd be so inclined to believe you took all of them, that and if you weren't so full of it." Naruto comments snarkily to Aqua's dismay.
"Damn, he didn't buy it, what do I do now? Do I tell him? No, that would be too risky of a move, what if he exposes the truth about Ai to the public…." Aqua thought while sweating bullets, trying to figure out a way out of the predicament he finds himself in.
"You're trying to figure out he's your father right?" Naruto says suddenly, widening Aqua's eyes and snapping out of his thought process, causing the boy to turn around in a flash.
"Y-you know!? H-how did you figure it out?" Aqua asks with shock on his face.
"I know because I know you are Aqua Hoshino, the son of the legendary Ai Hoshino." Naruto says with black abyssal stars in his red and blue eyes, matching Aqua's single black abyssal star eye.
"So you know huh….? What do you plan to do with that information…?" Aqua asks with a serious tone, losing all worry in his voice as he calculates his next move.
"Nothing, I don't plan on releasing it out to the public if that's what you're thinking, it's none of my business, but what is my business is that Kana Arima comes out the star today. So I have a deal for you." Naruto says with a smile.
"A deal huh? Ok, tell me then, what do you propose then?" Aqua asks in all seriousness.
"You help me get Kana to shine today, and I'll help you track down and kill Ai's true murderer." Naruto says with a smirk, the dark stars in his eyes glinting with eagerness.
"If Masaya Kaburagi turns out to be innocent, and he isn't our father….then I'll have no leads, that being said…..with this Naruto Uzui's connections and skills at my disposal….my goals will be a lot easier to achieve….." Aqua thought before smirking, the dark star in his right eye glinting with the same eagerness as Naruto. "Alright then, you've got yourself a deal, since I'm already here I was planning to go out with a bang anyway, so what do you have in mind?" Aqua asks eagerly, causing Naruto's smirk to grow into a grin before said red blonde leans in and begins whispering.
"Places, we're about to resume filming!" The female film crew member shouts to everyone as Naruto and Aqua head inside.
"Ya know, you are one hell of an actor, I'll have fun working with you in the future." Aqua says with a smirk, pulling the hood of his black hoodie up in preparation.
"To be honest I wasn't sure that was gonna work, even so, whether he agreed or not I was gonna hunt down and kill Ai's true killer with my blade either way to keep her new life safe…I won't let anyone hurt her again..…" Naruto thought with a smile of relief at Aqua's decision.
Timeskip - 5 Minutes Later
"That girl with you, isn't the kind of person you think she is…." Aqua says after walking in view through puddles in silence, allowing the sounds to pick up through the mics, giving off an ominous vibe. "She's simply not compatible with a vapidant shell or playboy like you. She's the same type of person as I am, the same type of person Kira is, he's the one who showed me the truth, don't you see." Aqua says darkly, the black star in his eye glinting the darkness like the night.
"Kira? Who the heck is that…?" Melt asks in confusion.
"You wouldn't understand, you're just some pathetic guy who flaunts his looks and thinks that can get him anywhere in life." Aqua says with no remorse, causing Melt to scowl at him before widening his eyes and regaining composure. "I don't have talent the way Ai did, nor do I have the acting skills that Naruto has, I simply don't have an aura that keeps viewers eyes glued to me. Which is exactly why….I'll use all the tools at my disposal, props, the cameras, the lighting, the actors….even if it takes leveraging them all, I'm going to be like Ai….I'll use Naruto Uzui until I learn every last secret he has to acting, he is the key to the future, the key to finding my father, Ai's killer…..." Aqua thought with a dark tone, walking up next to Melts ear and leaning in. "Ya know, up close you're actually pretty ugly, so this is how you look without photo editing." Aqua says amusingly, the dark star in his eye glinting with a hint of mischief and evil.
"Huh..?" Melt mumbles out with wide eyes before turning and gripping Aqua by the collar. "What the hell!" The magenta haired boy yells in anger, catching the film crew by surprise at the emotion, whilst Aqua grins evilly.
"Are you deaf or something!? I said that dumb girl isn't worth the effort of protecting!" Aqua yells in false anger, leaning in and using his emotions to act out the character as the lights start to turn up.
"This girl is a precious friend to me!" Melt yells, showing how the acting he displayed before this was as pathetic as can be.
"Precious friend huh..? What a load of bullshit!" Aqua says menacingly, causing Melt to let go of him and back a bit.
"What did you just say!?" Melt asks with shock at the vulgar language Aqua chose.
"That girl is nothing more than a fake light! She's just trying to cover up all the darkness in her life, Kira told me, he told me everything!" Aqua yells before Melt holds his arms out.
"I don't care what this "Kira" told you, because nothing you do will make a difference!" Melt shouts protectively, protecting the character Kana's portraying during this shoot whilst Aqua pulls out a fake knife with a sick grin, licking it before charging towards Melt with a ragged battle cry, dodging a punch from Melt and going straight for Kana, lunging at his real target with a maniacal grin.
"It's time for you to begone!" Aqua yells before being socked on his left cheek via Melt, dropping his knife prop and falling down in fake pain, gasping for air and looking up, widening his eyes and beginning to laugh.
"What's so funny!?" Melt yells demandingly at Aqua who just looks behind them.
"Hey there, Kira!" Aqua yells with delight, causing Melt and Kana to widen their eyes and look behind them, noticing Naruto standing behind them with a smile.
"I-It's you!" Kana calls out with surprise, causing Naruto to smile and wave, giving off an uneasy vibe.
"Hey there, it's good to see you again."
"But wait…he just called him Kira….that means-!" Melt yells with wide eyes.
"No, he would never do that! It has to be a lie!" Kana shouts with agony, causing the room to go silent.
"Just accept it little girl, he's like me and he always will be!" Aqua shouts with an evil grin.
"Just accept it…..no! I can't and I won't!" Kana shouts at Aqua before turning to Naruto. "Tell me it's not true! Tell me you haven't done those cruel acts against me! Please, say something! Anything!" Kana shouts with a begging tone as the room goes silent until the silence breaks from an evil giggle with shrieks from Naruto until it escalates into a psychotic chuckle with ragged breaths, exploding into full blown demonic looking laughter as Naruto looks up, his only visible left eye glowing red with no pupils whilst his shadow casts grows large over image of the red blonde as he takes a gasping breath before erupting back into a maniacal laugh, letting out a small percent of killing intent his body that intensifies the air, terrifying everyone around him as the camera zooms on his face, showing the glowing full red gleam of his left eye and his demonic open grin as he continues to chuckle with ragged shrieky breaths before looking down at the floor, taking a deep inhuman breath before looking up once more, the red blonde's black abyssal red and blue star eyes full in view alongside his evil grin.
"That's right….I am Kira..!" Naruto says to Kana's horror and to Aqua's grin.
"Damn this guy is good, he has the whole room terrified, I thought I was going to die for a second there myself….." Aqua thought in aw of Naruto's skill. "With him, anything imaginable in the industry is possible!"
"It….it can't be…." Kana says with shock and horror blatant on her face, showing impressive skill at expressing a character's emotion through one's self. "But….why! Why would you do all of this!"
"Because I'm the only one who is meant to be with you, ever since the day we met I knew….that we are the same!" Naruto shouts with a maniacal grin, his black star eyes gleaming with darkness.
"You lie! She's nothing like you, you bastard!" Melt shouts at Naruto, causing Naruto to look at him and frown with disgust.
"You….you're someone who has no business being around her! You don't understand her like I do and you never will! You're what's wrong with the world! It's because of rotten people like you that the world has become shrouded in darkness!" Naruto yells with anger. "You two are polar opposites, yet….I see you with her…..over….and over…! Over and over and over and over again!" Naruto yells whilst gripping his shirt with his left hand and balling right one into a fist, smashing the metal door behind him twice in anger and creating two dents, widening the eyes of everyone around him as blood drips from his bloodied right hand. "Just give up…..and leave her alone already!" Naruto yells with anger. "In the after life….I'll have to thank Sasuke for letting me steal those words from him….."
"Alright then, let's finish this!" Aqua yells while picking up the prop knife, walking over to Naruto before turning to Kana. "We've come this far already, it's time to show them true darkness and despair!" Aqua yells maniacally before a stab sound can be heard, causing him to widen his eyes and drop his knife before slowly turning his head to see Naruto stabbing him in the back with another prop knife that was hidden in his sleeve. "B-but why….."
"You're useless, you couldn't do the one thing I asked you to do, so what makes you think you'll be useful now? Begone!" Naruto says coldly before ripping the fake knife out of Aqua's back, rubbing some of the blood on the one black star eyed boy and the knife to make it more convincing before pushing him to the side, letting him fall onto the ground to Kana's horror.
"Y-you killed him!" Melt yells in shock before Naruto begins charging towards Kana.
"Farewell my one and only friend!" Naruto yells with a maniacal grin before suddenly being struck in the heart by another prop knife via Aqua.
"You didn't think I was just gonna let you get away with that did you!?" Aqua yells with anger while taking Naruto to the ground with him. "N-no no, if I'm gonna die, then I'm sure as hell taking you with me!"
"Damn you….you son of a….Ugh-" Naruto says before Aqua pushes the prop knife further into his chest, causing Naruto's eyes to lose the light in them as he lays there limp, mimicking the behavior of a dead man perfectly whilst Aqua laughs.
"It looks like I'm going to die huh, oh well that's too bad, I would have loved to see you fall to your knees knowing you have no future, your life, this world! It's all nothing but pitch black darkness!" Aqua yells before coughing and looking at his hand, seeing Naruto's blood on it and smiling as he gets a small flashback of rubbing it on his hand while he was out of the camera's line of sight.
"Looks like you came through Aqua, I'll have to thank you later." Naruto thought while smiling as he leans up to see the cameras focus on Kana who puts a hand on her chest and looks up with tears.
"Even so, even so, there is light yet, even in a world as dark as this one." Kana says with a smile as Naruto and Aqua look on at the sight, turning to each other and smiling as their eyes shine bright like stars.
Timeskip - 5 Minutes Later
"Ya know, you play one hell of a villain kid." Ichigo says with a sweatdrop, causing Naruto to chuckle.
"Well of course, I mean how else is Kana gonna shine in the spotlight if I can't even play my part right." Naruto says with a warm smile at the man.
"You say that but I feel like you're gonna get more attention out of this than anyone, but then again that would bring more people in to watch the show and see Kana's skill, what a crafty little bastard." Ichigo thought in defeat before sighing, watching the final scene alongside Naruto with a smile. "Even with all the chaos this kid has caused here, not to mention the property damage I'll inevitably have to pay for…." Ichigo thought in annoyance. "I can just tell by being around him, that everything will all turn out fine…."
"Ow ow owww!" Naruto shrieks out in pain, wincing at the bloodied bandages on his right hand.
"Heh, that's what you get for going overboard, next time you might wanna watch what you're hitting Naruto." Ichigo says with a playful smirk, causing Naruto to look at him in annoyance.
"Yeah yeah I get it, I just couldn't help myself ya know." Naruto says cheekily before Ichigo sweat drops.
"Right….I'm surprised they didn't stop filming, well whatever that reason might be I doubt it'll matter compared to the ear full Ai is gonna give you when she finds out you hurt yourself on set, sometimes it really does feel like she's your wife, heh….." Ichigo chuckles out lightly, causing Naruto to freeze up in place.
"Oh shit! I completely forgot about Ai's reaction!" Naruto thought in panic as his inner voice echoes out.
Timeskip - Days After The Episode Release
"Most of the viewers already dropped the show, only the hardcore fans of the manga and actors continued watching. That being said, the final episode of Sweet Today was a successful hit for one reason alone….." Aqua thought before getting a flashback of Naruto's now famous maniacal laugh. "That laugh…before the episode was released…..somehow that laugh managed to be leaked, no telling who could have done that, could've been the Producer to draw attention to the show or even one of the film crew, but I have my suspicions. That aside though it was an instant hit among both fans of Naruto Uzui and of the Manga and brought a lot of attention towards the show and the actors in it, people like Melt Narushima got little recognition for their poor acting and received a reality check in return, others like Kana Arima on the other hand…..they got the passionate praise and recognition they deserved and are to see more job offers and possibilities in the future of the industry….all of that happened because of one convincing laugh…." Aqua thought while looking at his now partner in crime, Naruto Uzui, who stands just in front of Kana and him standing at each other's side wearing his hair in it's usual well kept parted to the right style whilst he wears a black dress jacket over a casual dark red shirt and black pants with normal black shoes to give off a casual but formal vibe, the gifted walking cane from Ai glued to his right hand like a third limb.
"Hello there Naruto, it seems we meet again!" Kaburagi calls out to the red blonde, causing Naruto to turn to him and smile.
"Indeed, It's good to see you again, I hope my performance was pleasing." Naruto says before grinning, causing Kaburagi to chuckle.
"Ah yes, it was satisfactory if I say so myself, every review I see online says that it was one of the scariest things they've seen in their life, and I must say I don't know how you do it, but whatever it is you do, it works like a charm." Kaburagi says with a smile, raising his glass in praise.
"Thank you, but it's nothing really, I just gave it my all so Kana could shine in the spotlight." Naruto says with a warm eye smile.
"Ah, yes Kana, her performance was well done, I'm sure many of the fans are pleased with it as well, I can tell she has a bright future ahead of her." Kaburagi says with certainty. "On that note though, I would like to give you an opportunity."
"Oh? Go on then, I'm all ears." Naruto says with a grin before Kaburagi comes over and whispers in his ear, causing Naruto to widen his eyes as he grins. "You truly know how to get people to succumb to temptation ya know."
"Heh, What can I say, I'm a businessman full of opportunities for talented youths like yourself, of course I've already spoken to your manager about this and he's more than willing to do it so don't worry about forgetting to mention in to Ichigo, it's a shame that he couldn't make it to this, but I guess business comes first." Kaburagi says with a grin. "I'm gonna go speak to Aqua real fast, but before I go do that I just want to let you know there's someone waiting for you outside."
"Someone's waiting for me?" Naruto asks himself in confusion whilst Kaburagi walks off towards Aqua.
Timeskip - Mere Moments Later
"I wonder who could be out here waiting for me of all people." Naruto thought aloud to himself whilst walking outside of the building, the sound of his cane hitting the ground echoing in the alleyway of the building as he steps along. "Hello? Is anyone there?"
"Finally you're here, with how long you were taking I thought you'd never come out to see me." A much older Ai Fushiguro's voice calls out, widening the eyes of a smiling Naruto as she hugs him from behind the neck. "Hey there, Naruto."
"Ai…..you're here! But how…? I thought this party was only for people who worked on the project." Naruto says with surprise, causing the purple haired girl to smile warmly.
"You know me and how greedy I am, I had a talk with the producer to pull some strings for me, you should have seen his face and how surprised he was to see someone who looks like me." Ai says with a cheeky face of greed, causing Naruto to chuckle.
"Yeah that sounds like you, I'm sure anyone would be spooked after taking one good look at you and a photo of you in your previous life. Just try to be careful with your words when you talk to people you once knew ya know?" Naruto comments with a sweat drop.
"Yeah I know that, it would be all over the internet if people knew….speaking of that, I saw your performance on the final episode!" Ai says excitedly, causing Naruto to widen his eyes comedically as she tugs on his neck tightly.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me!" Naruto says whilst trying to tap out of Ai's death hold on his neck, causing the girl to sigh and loosen her arms to the red blonde's delight.
"You know I don't like seeing you get hurt like that…..even if it was just for show…." Ai says protectively, causing Naruto to smile warmly and put his right hand over Ai's, warmth leaking from the bandages over his palm and knuckles.
"I know, but it worked out didn't it? So tell me, what did you think of my little villainy act?" Naruto asks with a cheeky grin, causing Ai to chuckle at Naruto's antics.
"Well aside from the fact that you used Genjutsu to make your eyes glow and your shadow bigger than I think it was amazing." Ai says softly with a warm smile whilst resting her head on Naruto's shoulder, causing the heterochromic boy to grin.
"So you noticed that huh? It wasn't anything special, I just thought it would heighten the tension and make the atmosphere scarier, it's crazy to think chakra has gotten so scarce that even I'm able to use Genjutsu now." Naruto says with disbelief.
"Well even so, you still have more chakra than anyone else, I mean I can only do basic things with it, whereas you can make whatever illusion you desire." Ai says in jealousy.
"Give it time, I know you'll get better at using it, I mean just look at me, I went from the worst student in the academy to the worlds strongest in my previous life, so who says you can't do the same?" Naruto comments with pride before turning around to look at her, separating from their small embrace in the process.
"Maybe you're right, but I guess only time will tell!" Ai says with a bright smile before dragging Naruto by the arm back towards the doorway. "Come on, let's go inside, I wanna try some of the food!"
"That's right…chakra users have depleted down to just me and now Ai, it's kinda funny how in the end I'm still tied to the Uzumaki clan…..but there's still room to….what happened to all of you…Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son, Kokuo, Saiken, Chomei, Gyuki, and…..Kurama…." Naruto thought with sadness before smiling solemnly. "I wish you were here with me….old friend….."

As promised you found out the answer to the question you've all been waiting for, yes Ai knows about Naruto's previous life! And what's this she knows how to use basic chakra things, Naruto knows Genjutsu!? Yeah I thought it would be a perfect tool for him to use in his career as an Actor, yes he is still the author of the Icha Icha series in this world but he's more than just that! What was the offer Kaburagi struck Naruto with? How did Ai manage to convince said man to get into the party!? Only time will tell on the next chapter of My Star: Shinobi's Rebirth! Did I copy JJK's Megumi and Gojo scene? Well no I didn't copy it, I did however take inspiration from the scene when writing the last chapter, the same goes for this chapter I took inspiration for another popular anime that you all might know, Death Note, I liked the idea of Naruto laughing like Light Yagami in the Sweet Today series and having it blow up to give Kana, his half sister!? plot twist, more spotlight.
Is chakra necessary? No, but I like the idea of giving him Genjutsu and basic stuff for his career, one display I'm excited for myself you will see next chapter.
What will Aqua's reaction be to seeing Ai alive again in a way? You will just have to find out on the next chapter of My Star: Shinobi's Rebirth!
Oh and one more thing, I chose My Star/Oshi No Ko for my next story because the next season comes out on the 3rd of July which is around the corner next week so I'm excited for that!
