As the final bell rang on the last day of school, every monster in Brighton was rushing out for Summer vacation. Franken-Mollie in particular looked forward to a vacation in Sunnyland, the theme park that was ran by weather titans! Molly said "Summer Vacation! I had never seen such a happier time of uncut enhappification!" "I've never been to Sunnyland that much but I heard that it's more exciting with roller coasters, thrill rides, simulators and a haunted house!" Scratch then said "Along with churros, blood shakes, popcorn, burgers, fries... wait a minute, a haunted house?!" Adia then said "My dad works there." Molly then said "I never knew you had a father." "Mol, this is the vacation we wanted!" Darryl said.

A few days later, the families and other castle occupants flew on a dragon-designed airplane. Molly then said "Libby, what about the castle?" Libby then said "Don't worry, Molly; I let Patty come up with clones that can do all your work." The dragon flight attendant then asked "Are you enjoying your flight?" Andrea then said "I would, but there's a gremlin on the wing of the plane." Outside a literal gremlin was hitching a ride and the flight attendant then said "Hold on a minute" and she put the gremlin in his seat next to Sheela who was eating brain chips.

Then the plane landed in Sunnyland and it was sunny constantly, that's due to weather elementals were running the park. The families were having the enhappification that Molly always wanted. The rides were all provided for all the ghouls that went coming month after month, year after year, century after century and millennia after millennia. Sheela put a voodoo spell on some of the other zombies to help pay for the families since Sheela was a little light on cash. Kat then said "Glad you could pay for my mummy, er money. My parents didn't even give me the privilege to make my own ushabti figures."

Of course, Ruben had no problems with his children going into the haunted house ride. Molly then said "Here we go! The Haunted Thunderstorm, something that would be right up your alley!" Scratch then said "It's a good thing that Geoff is here with me along with his friend Jeff." Geoff was with another ghost named Jeff who was his boyfriend. Once they entered the ride some familiar faces showed up, it was Lucretia, Alister, Bartholomew and Grimbella along with the former chairman. Scratch then said "I hate to be a buzzkill but I think that this was a set up by..." before he could finish Jinx showed up vengeful than ever and said "ME! Now I have you with the Chairman, the REAL Chairman!" Adia then saw the former chairman and recognized that it was her father. Adia then said "DADDY?!" The Chairman then saw her daughter and then said "Adia?" Everybody was shocked about how Adia was the offspring of the original Chairman of the Ghost World, all Scratch and Jinx would say in confusion were "We never knew you would speak." The Chairman then said "I had to keep silent because I couldn't stand so many people talking about misery, I didn't like misery but I got used to it so that's why I never spoke to you, until I saw my baby again." Jinx then upset and then said "Oh no, you're not really telling me that YOU have some joy inside!"

Suddenly, the pervious Chairman stoop up to Jinx and said "Another reason why I wouldn't speak was because you always were an annoying fanghoul, Jinx!" Jinx was heartbroken seeing that her hero now turned on her and finally had misery of her own. Franken-Mollie, Scratch, Libby, Andrea and the other monsters smirked at her and said "Now you know how it feels to be miserable and how bad it is!" Grimbella then said "I think that having Scratch as the new chairman was really a good idea." "You always took out the fun and any joy that the Chairman left" Lucretia added and Ollie then said "I gotta be honest with all of you, I didn't see any of this coming." So much of Jinx's feelings were hurt and Pete jumped at the opportunity to rid Jinx once and for all, he held his scythe and said "This is for reaping all the joy out of Brighton!" He swung his scythe and Jinx disintegrated and was never seen again.

After the ride and several days of vacation fun Molly then said "I think that this was the best vacation of our afterlives!" Scratch then said "It was very touching of Adia to reunite with her dad who turned out to be the Chairman that I kinda left out, but the other Ghost Council members defended us." Grandma Nin said "I think that we came for the fun, but stayed for the biggest event of all, Jinx being gone!" So the families went back to Brighton and enjoyed the Summer.
