Prologue: The Legend of Steve and Alex/Medusa's Return
*The story opens up with a far away view of Diamond Island, slowly getting closer to the island as the voice of Palutena, The Goddess of Light, starts to narrate.*
Palutena: *narrating* Once Upon A Time, there lived an island far away from the many ginormous continents and regions of Earth. This was an island thriving with life, sunshine, and overall, light. It was called Diamond Island, and it was perhaps the most tropical island on Earth.
*As Palutena describes Diamond Island, it shows the many parts of the island itself. From the sandy beaches to the jungle rainforests; to its many rivers, lakes, and mud pits; to its ginormous volcano in the center.*
Palutena: *narrating* For many years Diamond Island was inhabited by not only its creatures of nature, but also many Villagers who helped the island thrive for many years.
*It shows the Villagers in their Village either farming, greeting each other, or overall, living their lives peacefully.*
Palutena: *narrating* However, everything suddenly changed when a human male named Steve arrived on Diamond Island.
*It then cuts to a boat caught in a storm in the ocean. With a young man named Steve trying to safely survive the storm and keep his boat safe. He then ends up shipwrecked on Diamond Island after the storm, and when the storm finally stops, morning came, and Steve got to see Diamond Island for the first time, amazed by its tropical beauty.*
Palutena: *narrating* You see, Steve was a citizen of the Far Away Magic Kingdom, and he ended up on Diamond Island after being caught in a storm while trying to have a nice sailing trip. When he first arrived on Diamond Island with his boat completely wrecked from the storm, he at first felt hopeless and thought he would not survive on this island. But that all changed when he met the Island's Villagers.
*It then shows Steve meeting The Villagers and entering their wonderful Village. It cuts to the Villagers teaching Steve how to find food and essentials on the island to either eat or craft into useful items. As while Steve was welcomed to The Village; he had to learn how to find food for himself, create his own tools and items, and build his own new home on the island.*
Palutena: *narrating* The Villagers taught Steve how to turn the Island's essentials into items, how to find food, and how to mine throughout the Island's caves. However, Steve also had to learn how to defend himself and The Village from the Island's many deadly creatures that come out at night.
*It shows the said creatures that come out at night; including The Creepers, Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders, and Endermen; before it cuts to Steve fighting these creatures and protect The Village.*
Palutena: *narrating* As Steve protected The Village from these creatures and helped The Villagers with their essential needs and farming, he gained The Villagers' respect and started to like his new life on Diamond Island. However, things were once again about to change, when he met Alex.
*It then cuts to a mysterious trail of light, crashing down onto Diamond Island, Steve and The Villagers notice this crash and decide to follow where it crashed. When they arrive at the scene, they see a young, orange/red-haired woman who was dressed in golden armor and strange things on her back… which appear to be burnt up angel wings. Steve picks up this girl and takes her back to The Village where he and The Villagers help nurse her back to health.*
Palutena: *narrating* You see, Alex was one of many angels who were apart of an army that serve The Goddess of Light, Palutena. Which is me *finally reveals herself before continuing to narrate* and alongside Pit, the angel who saved me, Alex was one of my best angels to serve in my army. On this very night, while on her way to this island, her wings unfortunately burnt out.
*It shows everything Palutena described before cutting back to Steve and the Villagers helping Alex get back to health.*
Palutena: *narrating* Alex was very grateful for Steve and The Villagers helping her, despite the loss of her wings. However, she then tells them that she came to Diamond Island because a monstrous force of darkness was coming. The Ender Dragon, commander of The Endermen.
*It shows The Ender Dragon with a whole army of Endermen.*
Palutena: *narrating* When Steve heard this terrible news, he knew that if The Ender Dragon invaded Diamond Island, everything he and The Villagers worked for would be gone. So together, he and Alex decided to stop The Ender Dragon together. And with Steve's skills of mining and crafting and Alex's powers of Light Magic, they together forged a weapon that they would both use to vanquish The Ender Dragon or any other foe or creature who would stand in their way, The Dream Sword.
*It shows Steve and Alex crafting and forging The Dream Sword together before it shows The Dream Sword itself (and yes, this is the same Dream Sword from the opening of the first Kingdom Hearts game). The symbol underneath the blade of the Sword represented Steve's old home, The Magic Kingdom.*
Palutena: *narrating* The Ender Dragon came to Diamond Island along with his many Enderman, and both Steve and Alex did everything in their power to fight the Ender Army.
*It shows Steve and Alex fighting both The Endermen and eventually The Ender Dragon.*
Palutena: *narrating* It wasn't easy, and it caused a lot of damage to the Island, but eventually Steve and Alex defeated The Ender Dragon together with their impressive teamwork and the power of The Dream Sword's Light Magic. News of The Ender Dragon's defeat was spread all across Earth, and even other planets and worlds outside of Earth as well. Even catching the attention of myself and King Mickey, the King of The Magic Kingdom, Steve's old home.
*It briefly shows King Mickey, Palutena, and a bit of the other worlds outside of Earth that Palutena mentioned. After that it shows a bunch of people and such coming to Diamond Island to help repair the damage that The Ender Dragon and Endermen brought onto the Island. By either replanting the trees and plants, or even renovating The Villagers' Village into an even bigger modern tropical town, this is what is now called LightCoast Town.*
Palutena: *narrating* So much so that people all over Earth came to help repair the damage that the Ender Dragon's war brought onto Diamond Island. Plants and trees were restored to help, and The Village was converted into what is now known as LightCoast Town. Thus turning Diamond Island into a place for many people and Villagers alike to either live in or go on a vacation too.
*It shows the people and Villagers living happily in Diamond Island with Steve and Alex watching over everything in happiness and content.*
Palutena: *narrating* As Steve and Alex continued to rule and protect Diamond Island together, they eventually grew closer together and got married. They were almost like the King and Queen of Diamond Island.
*It shows Steve and Alex going on their many dates before getting married, and after that, it shows Alex who was now pregnant.*
Palutena: *narrating* And to make matters better, Steve and Alex were about to have a baby. In which both King Mickey and I were very excited for. You see, Mickey and I had a feeling that Steve and Alex's child would be something very rare on not just this planet Earth, but in this entire universe we call Creatio. And that rare thing, is a Creator. Unlike most of Creatio's other character citizens; whether god, mortal, or anything in between; Creators hold special potential and powers to help shape the future of Creatio and its many realms, they are the fine line where the 4th wall begins and ends. And one of Creatio's realms where me, King Mickey, Steve, Alex, and the many others live in is called Phantasmic.
*It shows the prophecy of Creators and the Outer Space of Phantasmic as Palutena mentioned as she continues narrating.*
Palutena: *narrating* Like any realm in Creatio, Phantasmic is filled with multiple planets and worlds; filled with wonder, adventure, magic, and overall, Light. You can kind of say that the realms of Creatio are like galaxies, they have multiple worlds in them. And Phantasmic is our home galaxy.
*It cuts to Palutena and King Mickey discussing the news of Steve and Alex's son potentially being a Creator to Steve and Alex themselves, and they were very intrigued.*
Palutena: *narrating* Now as I said, it is very rare for a Creator to be born in the universe of Creatio. As most Creators are born in another far away universe outside of Creatio, and are the ones who helped shape this universe and its many worlds from the start. Nonetheless, we all were very excited to meet this new Creator when he would be born, and were hopeful that we would all raise him together.
*It then shows a pair of glowing red eyes in a black background*
Palutena: *narrating* But around that time, a great evil had returned. And her name was Medusa, The Goddess of Darkness and Queen of The Nether Realm.
*It shows Medusa and her many shadowy creatures of The Nether Realm and The Realm of Darkness.*
Palutena: *narrating* Medusa wanted nothing more than to shroud Earth and the rest of Creatio into eternal darkness. As she was also the wife of the most powerful force of all evil, Dharkon The Overlord of Darkness.
*It shows a brief silhouette of Dharkon/The Darkness before cutting to a flashback of the events of the first Kid Icarus game.*
Palutena: *narrating* You see, long ago, Medusa had imprisoned me in my own temple as revenge for locking up Dharkon and his descendants, The Dark Ones, in their crumbling home world, The Realm of Darkness. I was afraid I'd never get out, but that was until the Angel named Pit, saved me and vanquished Medusa forever.
*It shows Pit defeating Medusa and saving Palutena before it then cuts to one of his and Medusa's many descendants, Overlord 19, or for short, The Dark Lord; using his powers to revive Medusa from her ashes.*
Palutena: *narrating* However, one of Dharkon and Medusa's many Dark Ones, The Dark Lord; revived Medusa from the ashes of her defeat, and together decided to take revenge on me and my angels, which included Alex; and then accomplish their vision of a Dark Universe.
*It then cuts to Palutena, King Mickey, Steve, and Alex coming up with a way to stop Medusa and Dark Lord.*
Palutena: *narrating* I knew that together me, King Mickey, Steve, and Alex; had to stop both Medusa and Dark Lord in order to make sure Steve and Alex's child would have a bright future. And fortunately we came up with a way to lock up Medusa within the Nether Realm for good. It was a powerful artifact we created together called The Shining Sun. A ginormous sun-shaped power source of light that was even more powerful than the Power Stars and Power Moons of the cosmos of space.
*It shows The Shining Sun in its beautiful shining glory.*
Palutena: *narrating* Together, we all ventured down into The Nether Realm and fought against Medusa's dark forces of Nether Creatures and The Heartless. And by our side was Pit and my army, and King Mickey's helpers and defenders of The Magic Kingdom.
*It shows Steve, Alex, Palutena, Pit, King Mickey, Oswald, Donald, and Goofy fighting against The Nether Creatures and The Heartless in The Nether Realm, before facing off against Medusa and The Dark Lord.*
Palutena: *narrating* With the help of Dark Lord, Medusa had unfortunately grown stronger, but that didn't stop us from losing hope in our battle against The Goddess of Darkness. As Pit and King Mickey distracted Dark Lord, Steve and Alex used The Shining Sun to imprison Medusa within a Nether Prison locked by the Shining Star's Light Magic.
*It shows Steve and Alex fighting and then imprisoning Medusa, but not before the two of the snakes in her hair bit the two, injecting them with extremely venomous poison. And as Medusa was imprisoned, she smiled as the failure of her revenge plans was not in vain.*
Palutena: *narrating* Upon Medusa's imprisonment, her Nether Forces were vanquished, and Dark Lord fled off in defeat, knowing that this wasn't over yet. Phantasmic's Earth and the rest of Creatio was once again safe from The Darkness' shadowy grasp, ensuring victory for the forces of good. Unfortunately, our celebration of victory was short-lived, as Steve and Alex were infected by the poisonous venom of Medusa's snake hair.
*It then cuts to Palutena, King Mickey, and their friends, aiding and taking care of Steve and Alex, who were both still infected by Medusa's venom.*
Palutena: *narrating* The venom was quickly spreading all throughout their bodies and they were running out of time. And unfortunately, Medusa's venom was something that not even my Heavenly Light could fully heal them from. However, Steve and Alex then suggested something else, that me and King Mickey use our combined magic to heal their child within Alex, so that he could be born a healthy baby, and that he would live the life they always wanted them to live. King Mickey and I knew that this would mean we'd never see Steve and Alex again, but we agreed, and focused our combined healing magic to save their child.
*It shows Palutena and King Mickey using their healing abilities to save Steve and Alex's child from Medusa's venom so that he would be born healthy and well. And at that moment, their child was born, and both Steve and Alex get a good look at their newborn baby boy.*
Palutena: *narrating* Even before Steve and Alex unfortunately passed away from the venom's poisonous effects, they were still able to get a look at their child for only one time, and named him Sean. After Steve and Alex passed away, King Mickey and I decided to raise this child together, so that he could become The Creator hero he was destined to be. And while Steve and Alex did name him Sean, Mickey and I decided to give him a very special Creator name, "Super Magical Creator," or for short, SMC. And along with taking care of SMC, King Mickey and I also knew that we had to hide and protect The Shining Sun so that no other villain could use it to free Medusa ever again. Therefore we decided to split The Shining Sun into 10 Power Suns. I would protect 5 of them while Mickey would protect the other 5.
*It then shows Palutena picking up Baby SMC and looking at him as King Mickey also was. It also shows half of the Power Suns being kept in Palutena's Temple while the other half of Power Suns were kept in King Mickey's Castle. After that it cuts to many scenes of Palutena and Mickey raising SMC as he grew older, whether it was through fun activities and/or important training.*
Palutena: *narrating* As SMC got older, Mickey and I continued to raise him to the best from our abilities. From his first steps, to discovering his god-like appetite, to showing him around Phantasmic's Earth and the other realms, and most importantly, training him in the Light Magic Powers he had, along with his sword-fighting skills.
*It also shows other mentors aside from Palutena and King Mickey helping train SMC in both Light Magic and Sword Fighting skills; including Link and Zelda of Hyrule, with SMC training alongside SoraLink; Rosalina, with SMC training alongside Stephen The Half Saiyan; Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, with SMC training alongside Grogu; etc.*
Palutena: *narrating* And while exploring new worlds for fun or training, SMC even met new friends who were also destined to be Creators like him.
*Aside from SoraLink and Stephen who were shown earlier, it also shows Young SMC meeting a young Dashie for the first time in a park in the Kingdom of Fantopolis. As well as other moments of SMC growing up while learning and training.*
Palutena: And Young SMC even got to experience other worlds outside of Phantasmic's Earth and even outside of the Realm of Phantasmic itself. From the vast realm of Skylands, to The Galaxy Far Far Away. And SMC grew up to be a very positive, optimistic, kind, helpful, and overall good person. He had a goodness in him, that many other people don't usually have, and Mickey and I are very happy to have raised such a good person. However, SMC's first true adventure was about to begin on his next Birthday, the day he would finally receive his parents' powerful weapon, The Dream Sword. The sword made to vanquish the Forces of Darkness and Despair. And just in time too, because as SMC became old enough to begin his first journey, the evils of our past had returned as apart of this destiny…
*After the opening narration was finally complete, it cuts to the Nether Realm, where a dark teleportation cloud (similar to how Organization 13 Members travel/teleport in Kingdom Hearts) appears and out of it steps Dark Lord. And with him were the 10 Power Suns that he sneakily stole from both Palutena's Temple and The Magic Kingdom's Castle. He was on his way to free Medusa after all these years.*
Dark Lord: *still walking* At long last… after so many years of defeating armies, stealing treasures, and overall stupid procrastination… my destined "arch nemesis" that I've been told so much about by Master Dharkon… is finally old enough and ready to receive his weapon and begin his journeys as a Creator Hero… which means it's finally time for me to free you… Mother Medusa…
*Dark Lord approaches the gates of Medusa's prison, and uses his dark magic with The Power Suns to assemble The Shining Sun and use it to break open Medusa's prison. Out of the prison, The Goddess of Darkness herself steps out, finally free after so many years of waiting.*
Medusa: At long last… I have once again returned! *faces Dark Lord* Overlord 19… my dear son… Thank you for freeing me.
Dark Lord: *bows loyally* It was my pleasure, Mother-
Medusa: Though I honestly would have preferred if you freed me earlier than waiting who knows how long for it.
Dark Lord: What? And easily destroy my arch nemesis that I was destined to fight BEFORE he's fully trained? Besides, finding The Power Suns was not an easy task.
Medusa: *groans* The second thing, I can understand. But haven't you forgotten what me and Dharkon have taught you and the other Dark Ones? It's always best to destroy a sleeping beast BEFORE it can awaken. *sighs* But nonetheless I am happy to be back once more. Have you found those who still obey and worship me and The Darkness?
Dark Lord: Yes I have, Mother. And I've even invited them to your castle to witness your return.
Medusa: Good, speaking of which, we should head there now and meet up with them.
Dark Lord: Yes Mother Medusa.
*It then cuts to Medusa's Castle in The Nether, where it shows a bunch of dark portals opening inside The Castle's main hallway. Out of these dark portals steps out various villains, including; Bowser, Bowser Jr, Kamek, Giovanni, Domino/Agent 009, Dr Colress; Commanders Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn; Dr Ivo Robotnik (Jim Carrey version), Kaos, Glumshanks, Risky Boots, Valentine/Valerie Stone, and Dark Squid & Octoru.*
Dark Lord: *enters into the hallway through an open doorway* Welcome fellow villains, evil people, scoundrels, rogue rascals, and/or generally bad creatures or people… I am The Dark Lord, one of the last descendants of Dharkon and Medusa.
Bowser: Wait, you're the one who invited us all here?
Dark Lord: Yes, yes I have, King Bowser.
Giovanni: This better not be a waste of our time, I've got a castle of my own that's almost finished being constructed. And I'd rather not miss its grand opening.
Kaos: And I need to get onto busting The Doom Raiders out of Cloudcracker Prison.
Dark Lord: I understand, I really do… But I assure you all that the reason I invited you all down here to The Nether will be worth it… to put things short, I have freed Medusa from her prison.
*The villains all gasp in shock and surprise.*
Dark Lord: And she's chosen all of you to help both her and me, in our plan to snuff out all the light in the entire universe of Creatio. But don't just take my word for it… ask her yourself…
*The villains then see Medusa herself appearing in the room in a transition cloud of dark smoke, and they all bow loyally to their Goddess of Darkness that they always worshiped in secrecy.*
The Villains: Mistress Medusa!
Medusa: My villainous followers… I am pleased that you have not forgotten me. My son, Dark Lord, has gathered you all here to become my Underworld Syndicate. A loyal syndicate of villains who will help us take over every world in this pathetic light-filled universe called Creatio, and reshape it into a universe of eternal darkness.
Bowser: Oh great and powerful Goddess of Darkness, we will do anything to help you and The Darkness' cause.
Dark Squid: What must we do to help you?
Medusa: *gives each of the villains/villain groups a Power Sun* Take each of these Power Suns and use them for any of your nefarious purposes, in exchange for a power source from each of your areas or worlds. Guard these Power Suns with your lives, so that I may never be imprisoned again!
*The villains all nod in understanding to Medusa's plans.*
Dr Robotnik: We understand, Goddess of Darkness.
Risky: We'll use these Suns to the best of our advantage.
Medusa: Excellent.
Dark Lord: *holding one of the Power Suns* I shall keep this one for myself Mother, for me and you.
Medusa: Excellent work, my son. You're turning out to be less weak than me and Dharkon originally thought.
Dark Lord: *groans in annoyance* Mother…
Medusa: Oh, don't get upset, I'm only kidding… or am I? Anyways, what do you think we should do with the final two Power Suns with our Underworld Syndicate each holding the others?
Dark Lord: Don't worry Mother, I'm sure I can find others who are willing to use these.
Medusa: Good, and now that Lady Palutena's new human pet is old enough to begin his "heroic journeys," we can finally take our revenge on her and the rest of her allies.
Dark Lord: Yes Mother… *turns to the other villains* What are you all waiting for? Return to your homes and begin your parts!
*The Villains once again nod and return to each of their home areas/worlds through the dark portals, but before Kaos and Glumshanks could…*
Dark Lord: Oh, Kaos?
Kaos: Hm? *turns around*
Dark Lord: I have something special in mind that requires your help in case all of this fails…
Kaos: My help? A son of The Darkness wants my help? *excited* I accept, what would you like me, Kaos, to do for you?
Dark Lord: I'm glad you asked, listen closely because this is very important… *starts whispering into Kaos' ear.*
Medusa: *grins evilly* Everything is already going according to plan… My revenge will be unforgiving…The punishment will be eternal… Creatio… WILL BE OURS! *she laughs evilly as the scene fades to black*
