SEVEN MONTHS AGO
Dash was outside the door of the guys' locker room with Tucker after school was over. Something was telling him that this was wrong, that he shouldn't be associated with any of this. He shook his head in disbelief at what had come of the tech nerd next to him, who was going on about his plan. Thoughts just ran through Dash's head. Why was he doing this? Would he create a permanent enemy out of Danny? What would the team think of him?
"…and you are to just stand out here. Don't let anyone in… or let HIM out." Tucker grinned devilishly. Dash couldn't believe why Tucker was so jealous, or why he even wanted this to happen. He immediately questioned himself, then questioned Tucker.
"Are you insane?!" Dash started. "That's your best friend, you moron. If you think that by having him…" He threw up a little at the next word that came out of his mouth. "Hazed… by the team is the best way to solve this for you, I'm NOT going to be involved."
"Since WHEN did you even care about Danny or his feelings?" Tucker shot back. "You've been bullying him since the fifth grade, but when it comes to this, you want to be a hero." He was really caught off by Dash's actions right now, especially after what he did to Danny earlier in the day. "You had him pinned against the lockers and traumatized the fuck out of him. If I weren't so angry with him right now, I'd knock you out."
Dash didn't know how to respond. He just ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. "I'm not doing this, Foley. I'm not going to be a part of you hurting him."
"Yes you will. If not… well, I wonder how Lancer would react when he hears that YOU were the one who set up this… heinous crime."
"Alright, fine!" Dash finally gave in. He began to feel sick to his stomach at what was coming. Tucker grinned in victory and nodded, then walked off to find Danny. Dash had to think of a way to warn the ghost boy… and fast. So once Tucker was out of sight, he pulled his phone out and zoomed through all his contacts to find Sam's name. He had it under Manson, which is what he mainly referred to her as.
- some shit is about to go down, manson. make sure fenton is away from foley. ik you don't like me, or trust me, but i'm serious. do not let them interact. something really bad is coming. -
He hit send and stashed his phone. "I hope she reads it…" He sighed.
Danny and Sam were hanging out at the Nasty Burger after school. It was their usual spot they'd go to in order to be alone with each other. Danny was looking into Sam's eyes. He loved how lost he would get in them, often thinking of how their future would be.
"Sam, there's something I want to ask."
Sam looked up from her phone, catching the puppy dog stare on her boyfriend's face. The same one he used to give Paulina, and the same one he gives her now. A smile found its way on her face. "Yeah?" She answered.
"Do you want to go out tonight? It's the start of the weekend, we have an extra day out of school, and I want to spend some true alone time with you."
Sam was just about to answer when her phone buzzed. She picked it up and shook her head in disbelief. "Danny, you might want to read this." As she handed the phone to Danny, his facial expressions told Sam everything she needed to know.
"Somehow, I think he's serious." Sam voiced. "Like, come on Danny. We haven't seen or talked to Tucker in days. All because of his jealousy." She rolled her eyes and looked at Danny skeptically. "Uh, Danny? You're not thinking of going to find Tucker, are you?"
"No!" Danny shot back quickly, not realizing how he sounded. "Of course I'm not. I-I mean, he's my friend, but is also jealous. I don't know, Sam. I want to, but after reading Dash's text, I think it's best to avoid him."
Sam took her phone back and smiled. "Good, because the next few days are gonna be about you and me." She leaned across the table and held Danny's face. "See you tonight." She kissed him as she spoke with a tone so sultry, Danny almost melted.
"I'm so lucky to have you." Danny smiled as he looked at the independent activist in front of him. Sam let go of his face, and got up to leave. She motioned him to follow, as it was their daily routine to walk home together. "Coming!" He shouted as he dashed to the door.
Danny was on his way to pick up Sam for their date when Tucker called him. "This is a shock." He answered sarcastically as he walked.
"Danny, there's a problem. Skulker is here at school, and he's got Dash locked in the guys' locker room. I tried to fight him, but I can't without you. Can you help me?"
"Hmmm, I don't know. You could be jealous of me taking over and being the hero, like you usually are." Danny replied, his anger beginning to rise.
"C'mon Danny, please. I could really use your help."
"Fine." Danny rolled his eyes and finished the call with Tucker. "On my way. Just hold him off until I get there."
"Ok."
Danny quickly texted Sam.
- hate 2 cancel our date tn. skulker is on the attack. make it up to you tomorrow 3 -
Danny stashed his phone and shook his head. "I read the text Dash sent Sam, but I got to help him. Hopefully, he isn't making this up…" He transformed into Danny Phantom and took off through the sunset sky.
Danny arrived at Casper High ten minutes later. He phased into the building. As he headed to the guys' locker room, something seemed off. "Huh. So maybe he was right. Skulker is here." Little did Danny know, the worst was yet to come. He ran to the locker room and found Dash standing there, door wide open and a look of regret mixed with anger. "Dash?"
The quarterback looked into Danny's eyes, and for that moment… they were connected. "I… I'm sorry this is happening." He sighed, tears beginning to well up.
"What are you-"
Tucker came up from behind and kicked Danny in. "Have fun, Danny." He laughed and turned to Dash. "Revenge is sweet… isn't it, Baxter?" He smirked as he ran off, but not before telling the football team leader to shut the door. Reluctantly, Dash did just that. All he could do was stand there and listen to what was about to happen.
"Fuck you, Foley. Fuck. You." Dash turned sharply and looked straight into Tucker's soul, attempting to strike fear back into the tech nerd.
"Hey, I got what I wanted. Danny is about to be out of the picture." Tucker remarked, venomous hatred all in his voice. "Thanks for—"
Dash couldn't take another second of listening to Tucker. "Shut. UP." He snapped as he struck Tucker with a fiery slap. "You're an evil son-of-a-bitch and I hope you get everything you deserve."
"Well well well. Look who we have here, guys." One football player remarked as Danny hit the ground, shifting back to normal.
"Fresh meat." Another one chimed in.
"What are you two talking about?" Danny questioned as he slowly stood back to his feet.
"Tough break, Fenton. You just got betrayed by your best friend. Which means… it's time." A voice Danny knew all too well spoke. Kwan loomed over the stunned halfa menacingly. He delivered a swift punch to Danny, who doubled down in pain and crumbled back to the ground. "Get him, boys. And don't let him go." The other two football guys held Danny up, forcing him to look at the threatening boy in front of him. Kwan pulled something out from behind him and placed it onto Danny. It was the Specter Deflector. How Kwan got that, Danny had no idea. All he knew is that he was in real trouble. "Now, guys… since our special guest has arrived, what do you say we… have some fun?"
Danny looked at all three boys in defiance and spat in Kwan's face. He managed to break free of the strong grip the other two held on him and charged at Kwan, tackling him down in a fierce attack with what little strength he had. Unfortunately, Danny soon found himself in a three-on-one situation. "H-Hey… let me go. Let me go!" Danny protested as the other two guys kept a strong grip on his arms while he struggled to get free.
Kwan brushed his nose and smirked. "You think that's how this is gonna go? Think again." He punched Danny right in the face, sending him crashing down onto the cold, hard floor. Danny was scared for his life. He didn't know what to do, especially with the Specter Deflector on him. He slid back to the door, trying to keep the football players from detaining him again.
"Don't touch me…" Danny shuddered in the cold room. He felt his back hit the door, and he could go nowhere else. "Don't touch me." He repeated. One of his arms was pressed on the door, so he used what little strength he had left to bang on it as hard as he could. Danny was shaking. He couldn't escape, he couldn't run, and he couldn't go ghost. This was a fight he was bound to lose. "GET OFF ME!" He screamed as loud as his voice would allow him to and did whatever he could to fight off the three attackers, but it was no use. The guys had pounced on him, and all Danny could feel were punches, kicks, and stomps. He shouted out as loud as he could in hopes that the one person who could possibly hear him would come to his defense, someone who could potentially save him.
"DASH!"
Dash was visibly disgusted and angry with himself. He could hear the sick laughs of the team and the painful screams from Danny. He then heard Danny scream his name. Dash couldn't stand it anymore. He kicked the door, trying to get in.
"Damn it, Baxter. COME ON!"
He stepped back and ran forward, kicking the door harder. It still didn't budge. Dash stepped back even further.
"Try again, man. TRY AGAIN!" He ran as fast as he could, using all his strength to kick the door in and, emerging from a cloud of dust, ran up to one of the guys, pulling him off of Danny. "Get away from him!" He shouted as he punched the guy, who was revealed to be Jake, in the face. He then ran over to the other attacker, Dale, and knocked him out. "KWAN!"
"Uh… hey, Dash…" He stuttered as he immediately stopped pummeling Danny, who was now coughing up blood from the brutal hits he was taking, and faced the quarterback. He looked scared of the hulking and raging man in front of him, but just when it seemed like he was about to get his comeuppance, Dash was blindsided by Jake with some type of metal instrument. He hit the ground and was out cold.
"Nice try, Dash. You ain't playing hero." Jake smugly remarked and dragged Dash over to the door before leaving him there and going back to attack a defenseless Danny, who now no longer tried to protect himself and fell silent. Tears flowed from his blue eyes as he closed them and prayed for this to just be over. He stopped fighting back and gave in to the hazing.
After what felt like hours, but was only twenty minutes later, the locker room was silent. Only Dash, who was stirring awake, and Danny, who was in the fetal position, were left in. Dash held his head, feeling the effects of the hit he suffered, but looked over at the middle of the locker room floor. He saw a beaten, battered, and broken Danny unconscious. His shirt was torn, he had a nasty cut on his head, he had coughed up a lot of blood, and a black eye amongst other injuries. Dash couldn't speak, but threw up instead. He felt so sick for even going with this. He felt sick for not stopping the guys. Most of all, he felt sick for letting this happen to Danny. He knew this was all his fault.
"What the hell did I just do?" He questioned himself. However, before he could stop himself from moving, something told him to get up and pick up the wounded warrior and rush him to the hospital. "Don't you die on me, Fenton... don't you FUCKING DIE ON ME." He said, gently picking up the injured boy and after putting him on his back, he immediately took off for the hospital. "Stay with me, please..." Dash whispered, tears now flowing. He was hoping that Danny could hear him. He was hoping that Danny... was still alive.
PRESENT
Danny was at Dash's house, sleeping calmly in the football star's bed. He had it all to himself while Dash was up, writing something in his journal and listening to the chill beats of Kendrick Lamar coming from his TV. The entry reads as follows:
July 14th, Saturday, 6:30pm
- Well… Fenton, I mean... Danny has been coming here a lot since the fight with Tucker last month. I have no issue with him being here, all things considered. He seems happier here, though. I know he's going home at night (because I either drive him home or Jazz comes to get him) and I know he sleeps well there, but here… here, he sleeps like a baby. It's actually really cute. I'm happy that he's been able to relax more when he's with me, more than he was with Sam or Tucker. His parents know that he's been coming here and staying with me for a few days and often send Jazz to check on him. Of course, with us both being teenagers, and having feelings for each other... no, being "boyfriend and boyfriend" (which by the way is really cool!), we stay up all night and while he sleeps during the day, I usually am awake working out. Also, we're going slow with this, but I have a feeling he's gonna wake up and want to have a makeout session like when he first came here. Even though that was more out of impulse, given the heat of the moment. (He's told me to be as smart as I am athletic. I actually like it.) When he's ready, I'm ready. - Dash
Dash closed his journal and laid it on his desk. He got up quietly from the desk and turned to look at Danny, who was still asleep. He had to admit that Danny was cute while he slept comfortably in the king sized bed. "He's like a kitten. Shy, quiet, and looking for someone to truly take care of him." Dash said to himself as he quietly walked over to his side of the bed that he slept on when Danny was over. He sat down carefully, so as not to wake the ghost boy. "Never again, baby. I'll never hurt you or let anyone hurt you again. I promise." He whispered to himself as he leaned down and kissed Danny on the forehead. This made Danny smile and stir awake. "Morning, sunshine."
Danny stretched his arms and sat up. "Hi, Dashi." He smiled as he kissed his boyfriend. "How long did I sleep?" He yawned.
"It's been about… 10 hours, love. You slept for 10 hours."
"Sounds about right." Danny chuckled. "You sure you don't mind me staying here? I mean, to everyone at school, we're mortal enemies and to my two former friends, well…"
"Danny, relax. I told you a month ago that I didn't mind you staying here. You honestly seem happier being with me versus when you were around Foley." Dash reassured.
Danny slouched and folded his arms. "That's because I was so naive to the point that I didn't know he was jealous and sucking the life out of me." He sighed and looked towards the setting sun. "So glad that I'm not talking to either one of them right now, anyway."
This caught Dash off guard. "You stopped talking to them both?"
"Yeah. Sam and I agreed to take a break for a while. I don't want her to get caught up in this anymore than she already is."
Dash knew not to ask Danny about his past with Sam, because if he did, it would trigger the memories of what happened to the ghost boy to come rushing back like an unstoppable wave of pain. He shrugged and slightly pulled Danny closer to him. "You miss her?"
"Yeah… just a little, I guess. Sometimes, I do wish that it was only me and her that were friends instead of her, Tucker, and me. Then again, I learned something from both of them. Space is needed in a friendship, especially after a fight." Danny sighed, curling up to Dash. "Although… I prefer being with you."
"I wonder why that is, my dear ghost boy?"
Danny looked up at Dash, whose calm teal eyes met his baby blue ones. He could feel his heart pounding every time he got close to Dash like this. In the past, when they were this close, it was because Dash had him pinned up against the lockers. Now, it's because he finally sees the real version of Dash. The version no one else has ever seen. "Well, it's because I feel safer with you. I can be an emotional wreck, and you know exactly what to do to make me smile. When I'm nervous or overthinking, you easily calm me down just by telling me that 'it'll be okay,' and 'just breathe, baby.' I guess what I'm saying, Dash, is…" He swung his body on top of Dash, his legs resting at Dash's sides. He focused on Dash's eyes. "You're my hero. You saved me from ending it all after my fight and imminent breakup from Sam and Tucker. I… I don't know what I'd do without you, Dash."
"Really?"
"Dash, we've known each other since we were in fifth grade. You know me better than anyone else, and that's including Sam and Tucker. Were we always friends? No. Did we always get along? Not at all, but we learned a lot about each other. You're a sweet person, Dash. It's just hidden under all this armor."
Dash couldn't help but smile. "Well, yeah. You broke the armor and brought it out of me."
Danny snickered. "I'm glad I've been able to bring it out of you. Plus…" He leaned closer to Dash's face. "I just want to be… with you." The tone of Danny's voice was sultry and Dash loved it.
"Time to claim what's mine then." Dash smirked as he pulled Danny in for a heated kiss. Dash was not shy about getting what he wants, and this was no different. He flipped his positions with Danny without breaking their passionate grip on each other.
"Am I driving you crazy yet?" Dash questioned, looking down at the blushing ghost boy.
"You always do. Better question is, are you hot? I-I mean you are hot, but that's not what I… I-I mean…"
"A little flustered, are we?"
Danny, through low eyes, chuckled. "You always know." He pulled at his shirt and wanted to get it off, but Dash stopped him.
"Let me do that for you." He carefully pulled Danny's shirt over his head and off his body, chucking it in the nearest corner. All of the scars from 6 months ago were still on his body, but Danny referred to them as battle wounds. One thing Danny had quickly come to learn about Dash is that he's a gentleman. "Better?"
"Yeah." Danny smirked. He wrapped his wrists around Dash's neck and locked them both in a heated kiss again. This was everything Danny wanted right now. He could think of nothing other than being in this moment, just him and Dash. As he and Dash's tongues fought for dominance, Danny thought of the first time he met Dash… back in fifth grade.
He walked in the room and looked around. It appeared as though everyone had their friend groups already. Tucker and Sam were not in sight. He wanted to turn back around, run into his mom's arms, and go back home.
"Daniel?"
He looked up and the teacher, a tall woman with brown hair who resembled his mom, was waiting for him. "Yes?" He answered shyly.
"Hi. I'll be your teacher. Come find a seat." She replied with a smile. She turned and walked to her desk.
Daniel started to think of where he could sit. Just then, he saw an open seat next to a boy with a letterman jacket on. He took a seat next to him and tried to stay unnoticed.
"Hey, Dash. Who's that boy next to you?" A boy asked.
"Huh? Kwan, what are you-" The boy known as Dashiel, nicknamed Dash, turned and noticed Daniel next to him. "Oh. Hey…" He said in a calm, almost nervous tone.
"H-Hi…" Daniel replied shyly. He didn't know the boy's name, but he knew one thing: he was a good looking boy.
"I'm… I'm Dashiel Baxter, but you can call me Dash."
"My name is Daniel Fenton. If you want to, you can call me Danny. I think you're, uh… I think you're kind of… good-looking." Daniel blushed and looked at the blond boy.
Dash blushed as well and smiled. "Really? Thank you, Daniel."
"You're welcome." Now came the hard part: having a deeper conversation. Daniel was scared to even continue, but something told him to ask Dash to be friends. "Do you want to be… friends? I-I'm usually shy and quiet because I only really know two people."
"Sure. I think we could be good friends, honestly."
PRESENT
Danny and Dash were now fully naked, making out with each other. Danny was straddling Dash's lap and trailing his fingers on Dash's shoulders. He found himself loving it when he and Dash had these moments together. It was them and them only. Danny, still in the heat of the moment, broke the kiss momentarily and didn't realize what he was about to do to himself mentally.
"Dash…" He whispered. "I… I want to take this further."
The blond boy looked at Danny in a caring yet passionate way. "You sure?"
"Positive." Danny grinned as he moved off Dash's lap and gripped the prize he was waiting for. "Wow… you're huge."
"I know…" Dash groaned sultrily as he felt Danny stroke him slowly. "Oh shit…"
Danny thought of what he had seen before online about this type of thing that was new to him. "Slow strokes with the hand. Always go slow first, then speed up. Once you're ready, then..." He thought as he stared longingly at the thick meat in front of him. "If you think that's good, wait until I do this." Danny gave Dash a smirk before he wrapped his lips around the head. He swirled his tongue around it for a few seconds before finishing his thought. "Breathe through your nose, Fenton. You got to breathe through your nose. Now, take him in as much as you can. In 3, 2, 1." Danny closed his eyes and pushed himself down the length of the star quarterback as much as he could before coming up for air. All while Dash was in a state of shock and pleasure.
"FUCK. I did NOT know you could do that." He breathed out as Danny just smiled and went back down, this time stopping halfway and remembering the last thing he learned. Make him feel good, but stop him when he says he's close. Danny slid his mouth back up to the head and paused momentarily before setting a rhythmic pace. He used his tongue to work the sensitive underside of Dash's dick while he opened his eyes to where he could see Dash's face, but still be focused on what he was doing. Dash bit down on his lip and put his hands behind his head, feeling like his head was spinning. "Danny… holy fuck, that feels so good… don't stop."
"Inhale in your nose, and go down to the base." Danny thought again as he went up to the tip and plunged his head down, looking at Dash through half-lidded eyes and holding himself against the pubes on Dash's crotch.
"SHIT!" Dash screamed out as he buckled and placed his hands on each side of Danny's head. "Let me face fuck you…" He smirked as he slowly moved Danny's head up and down in a smooth rhythm. "Oh yeah… that's it right there, baby." Danny didn't know what he was thinking of now, his mind only focused on the task at hand. All he could do was follow Dash's movements and he didn't mind doing that. After a few minutes, Dash relinquished his power and Danny was back in control. Dash was getting more and more tense. "Danny… I'm getting-"
Danny knew what Dash was trying to say because he could feel Dash bucking his hips. Danny stopped and slid off of Dash's length, smiling at the breathless boy deviously. "Nuh uh uh…" He hummed. "Not just yet, Dashi."
Dash was confused before he saw Danny slink his way up to him and kiss him with intensity. Their tongues danced together as the ghost boy stroked Dash, bringing him closer and closer to the breaking point. Dash could feel it rising in him again, but he knew how to stop Danny. He moved Danny's hand and, breaking their kiss, licked his lips hungrily at the boy in front of him. "Lay down on your back." He smirked as Danny didn't hesitate at all. He was now on his back and Dash was hovering over him.
"Wait, Dash." Danny whispered.
"Yeah?"
Danny was hesitant about this. "I'm scared."
"So am I, if I'm being honest." Dash chuckled nervously as he reached over Danny and pulled some lube out of his drawer and opened the bottle. "I won't do this if you aren't ready."
"This is it, Fenton. It's up to you." Danny thought to himself. He looked up at Dash and looked into those eyes and saw something different than what he had grown used to all these years. No longer did Dash have the eyes of a vengeful predator hunting its prey. He now looked like a genuine person, a caring individual who would kill anyone for his favorite ghost boy. "You promise to go slow?"
"Of course, baby."
"Okay."
Dash poured the lube in his hand and covered himself with it before lining up with Danny's entrance. He took Danny's hand in his and looked at him one last time. "Ready?"
Danny locked his fingers in Dash's hand and nodded. "Yes."
Dash slowly pushed himself forward until he felt a tight heat surrounding him. He felt Danny squeeze his hand as tightly as he could and saw pain etched over his face. "Danny." He groaned, feeling the tightness, but also wanting to make sure his boyfriend was okay.
Danny was in pain, no denying that. He had his eyes snapped shut and he let out a hiss. He opened his eyes and looked up at Dash without letting go of his hand, breathing heavily to calm himself and not focus on the searing pain he was feeling.
"Talk to me, baby."
"It... it hurts…" Danny whined quietly. He could feel tears brimming his eyes and his insides stretching, trying to get used to Dash's thickness. He took in a deep breath and relaxed himself. "Move."
Dash did just that. He pulled back and pushed in Danny again, creating a slow and steady pace so Danny could get adjusted to it. Speaking of Danny, he bit down on his lip to stifle his moans. Wrapping his legs around Dash's waist, he looked through half-lidded eyes at Dash. The football player was looking right back at him. Dash laid his body on Danny's and buried his head in the crook of Danny's neck. "You okay?" He whispered in the shy boy's ear.
"Your dick is huge… it feels so…" Danny tried to get the words out amidst his moans of pleasure. "Feels good now… go faster…"
So he did. Dash sped up the movement of his hips as he thrusted into Danny. He had Danny pinned down by the hands, feeling the ghost boy grip his hands tightly. Dash sped up more and Danny shut his eyes, moaning out Dash's name in the process.
"Shit… Dash… it feels so good. Please, don't stop…"
Dash raised himself up so he could thrust faster and look down at Danny. For this to be their first time together, it was a good feeling to Danny that he couldn't explain, until now. Dash bucked his hips and stilled for a moment. Danny cried out in a lustful way, only to be assaulted by a heated kiss. Dash pulled his hips back and thrusted forward again, eliciting yet another moan from Danny, which was muffled by the kiss.
"Oh god…" Danny thought. "I feel so weird, but in a… good way." He couldn't think. His mind was blank. He could feel his insides twitching and convulsing while Dash continued to pound him senseless. More importantly, he could feel something rising in him. "Dash…oh my god… fuck…" He couldn't get the words out. All the ghost boy could was whine Dash's name in ecstasy. The combination of Dash constantly hitting his spot plus a tingling feeling rising in the pit of his stomach was becoming too much.
"Shit, baby. I can't hold it in any longer… I'm getting close…" Dash breathed out.
"Release… coming…" Danny arched his back and cried out as he felt himself come undone right before Dash's eyes. Several thick, white ropes covered Danny's torso and this sent Dash to his breaking point.
Dash quickly leaned down and kissed Danny fiercely, moaning as he thrusted one final time and released himself into Danny. He stilled his body and embraced Danny. Minutes later, he broke the kiss with Danny and laid next to the ghost boy, catching his breath. "Damn…"
"That felt so… so good."
"I'm happy you trusted me with your body."
Danny curled up under Dash and trailed his fingers over the star quarterback's chest. "Dash… please promise me something." He looked up to the boy he once feared, but now he loved.
"I'd kill anyone for you. I'd go to hell and back just for you. I wouldn't trade the world for you."
Danny giggled and sighed. "While all of those are truly amazing promises, there's one thing I want you to truly promise me. Mostly because I've been hurt by my closest friend, and I hate to constantly mentioning it."
"You shouldn't hate bringing it up, it's important to let me know so I can be better than that."
"Dash, you promise to never hurt me again? Never hurt me the way Tucker made you? Never hurt me like he did?"
This caused Dash to think over the last seven months, and in turn, the past number of years. He was Danny's bully. He tortured Danny for years. Most recently, he played a large role in Danny being brutally attacked, but also came to the realization that being the one who could save the shy ghost boy. He hated himself for listening to Tucker, for bullying Danny all this time, and for not realizing it until now. However, he now felt something kind of... relax him. He felt like he was happy. The past seven months have been crazy for the both of them. Tonight, however, was a night of revelations. Dash now knew what Danny meant by "just being honest" about his feelings. "I promise, baby. I'll never hurt you, Daniel."
Danny smiled. Hearing Dash say his full first name, unlike when Plasmius used to say it, was comforting and made him feel special. He curled up next to Dash, similar to how a kitten would snuggle with its mother. "I think I can finally say this now. I love you… Dashiel Baxter."
Dash's heart fluttered. Danny hasn't said his full name like that since they were last friends… seven years ago. He had butterflies in his stomach. He blinked and blushed heavily. A smile spread across his face and he couldn't help but kiss Danny again. "I was waiting for you to say that, because I love you, too."
Danny laid his head on Dash's chest, listening to the heartbeat. It was steady and calming, slowly making him feel sleepy. He stretched and yawned, just like a little kitten, which caused Dash to gently pull him closer. His eyes fluttered shut and just like last night, Danny was sound asleep.
"Sweet dreams, baby." Dash sighed happily as he drifted to sleep. "I love you." He whispered.
"Love you too, Dashi." The ghost boy whispered back.
