:Portal X:

The decaying of the portal reality is growing ever stronger, the Fright Zone and half the Whispering Woods have been erased from existence and soon all of reality will follow. The only hope lies in the hands of Ben 10 and Adora known as She-Ra Princess of Power. Rook Blonko, Bens partner and best friend sacrificed his own existence to give the two heroes a chance to restore what Catra was on the verge of destroying.

Astrodactyl was high in the skies above the Whispering Woods with Adora in his arms bridal style. They were on their way to Bright Moon to find their friends Bow and Glimmer in the hopes they can help find the portal and seal it before it is too late.

In passing through a bank of clouds the two saw the beautiful kingdom they sought before them with the Moonstone glistening in the beautiful sun.

"We've made it!" Adora breathed. Suddenly they heard a familiar beeping sound coming from Astrodactyl's shoulder.

"And about time too!" Astrodactyl squarked. He quickly descended from the air and landed as close to the castle as he could.

"Land there!" Adora called just as the final beep sounds they landed close to one of the larger towers of the castle. The Omnitrix finally timed out as Astrodactyl lowered Adora to the ground just as he reverted back to Ben.

"Okay this is where Glimmers room is." Adora noted.

"How'd ya know?" Ben asked.

"How do you think they snuck me into Bright Moon after we first met." Adora smiled knowingly.

"Of course." Ben shook his head knowingly. Adora then took a closer look at the height of the wall but at the same time she wondered what Glimmer would say if she even listened to them.

"We'll have to climb the wall." Adora realised. "Ben do you think SpiderMonkey can help us scale the wall?" She asked.

Ben tried using the Omnitrix but as he turned the dial it flashed red. "Ah thats a no go, after that last round of transformations the Omnitrix needs time to recharge." He showed her the watch was now in recharge mode.

She wasn't really surprised after Bens rage fit made him make so many quick changes in a row. "Great and since I don't have a rope we'll have to find another way in?"

"So we'll improvise." Ben shrugged.

"Yep we improvise." Adora smiled fortunately though they wouldn't have to wait long.

"Hold it!" "Don't move!" They turned round and some moon shaped spears met their necks, they were the castles royal guards it seemed they had been discovered.

"Or we could just put our hands up and smile." Ben said as the two raised their hands up showing they surrendered.

Meanwhile:

"Woohoo!" Glimmer cheered as she appeared near the Moonstone and she was in a completely different outfit, the front of her boots had her feet exposed and wore something of a princess styled dress and short gloves but still in the style of her other reality outfit.

She landed safely in her mothers arms as they shared a joyful laugh the kind a mother and daughter would share. Angella too had a completely different outfit as well it was more of a queen styled dress than her other reality attire.

Glimmer teleported away again and Angella flew off into the sky and caught her daughter as she reappeared, they did this again and again and they were really having fun. This was way different than normal, though this world wasn't entirely normal. After a few more teleports Angella flies Glimmer down from the sky and landed on the platform below still laughing.

"That was awesome, Can we do it one more time?" Glimmer asked her mom who just chuckled before looking at her daughter lovingly.

"Oh, that's quite enough for today"Angella said rubbing her hair. "Besides…"

"Did you two go flying without me?" Said a voice from in front of them. They looked and saw. King Micha before them he looked a lot like his statue he wore pale pink and violet robes and a dark purple cape with gold armoured shoulder plates the symbol of Mystacor rested in the centre of it. he had long black hair and a beard.

He laughed upon seeing his wife and daughter. Glimmer gasped upon seeing him. "Dad!" Glimmer gasped as she ran up to him. "You're back!"

Micha quickly made a mandala circle in front of him. "Think fast!" He tossed it like a frisbee which his daughter quickly caught in her hand and made it disappear in sparkles before she teleported to her fathers embrace.

"You're getting good at that." Micha chuckled.

"I've been practicing" Glimmer smiled.

"Yes, She only blew up my flower garden twice." Angella said rather sarcastically before she gave her husband a kiss on the cheek. It turns out Angella was much taller than her husband.

"Welcome home love." Angella greeted him.

"You were having so much fun without me, you can't of missed me much." Micah joked.

"Dad!" Glimmer laughed as the happy family all shared a laugh as they enjoyed a loving hug. However the moment was then shattered.

"Your majesties!" The general then ran up to them in a hurry. "Your majesties. We found a couple of people sneaking into Bright Moon through the whispering woods. They were trying to break into the princess's chambers."

"What?" Angella said as she looked to her family very worried before she stepped forward with her husband and addressed the general. "What? Please escort the princess safely to her room until we determine these trespassers intentions."

The king and queen headed inside while the general escorted Glimmer away, she turned her gaze just to see Adora and Ben being escorted by the guards with their hands bound in ropes.

As they walked in Adora turned and she saw her friend she nudged Ben and he looked to see her too. "GLIMMER!" They cried but they were pushed forwards through the castle entrance.

As Glimmer was escorted away she wasn't sure why but she felt like she knew the two strangers for some reason. Like she'd met them before but she couldn't remember completely.

Sometime later inside the castle the doors to the castle library opened to reveal someone carrying a whole load of scrolls and parchments in his arms struggling to carry them all. He tried using his foot to shut the door only to end up dropping all his papers. It was revealed to be Bow, in his historians outfit but with the addition of glasses this time.

He sighed annoyed as he picked up his scrolls just as he was nearly done Glimmer appeared next to him making him jump in fright and fall to the ground. Glimmer kneeled down to his level.

"Glimmer! What is going on? Everyones really freaked out today!" Bow whispered given he'd heard all the ruckus going on around the kingdom.

"Theres some trespassers in Bright moon!" Glimmer explained whispering. "We need to figure out who they are!"She then teleported them away.

They reappeared near the front of Bright Moon that was under heavy guard. Bow and Glimmer were hiding behind one of the archways. "Why do we need to figure out who they are?" Bow whispered to his friend.

"Because... I don't know! I just feel like I know them somehow!"Glimmer explained. "So, we're gonna and spy while my parents interrogate them!"

"What?!" Bow nearly shouted if Glimmer hadn't covered his mouth.

"I know it sounds crazy, but they came here for a reason and I need to know why."Glimmer told him. "If you want to stay behind, just tell me."

"I want to stay behind." Bow mumbled from behind her hand but naturally.

"Hmm, Didn't hear anything, Lets go!" Glimmer ignored him and they teleported away.

They reappeared in the roof just above the throne room, Glimmer watched carefully while Bow looked dreadfully nervous not surprising considering they were so high up. However they watched and Micha sat on their thrones with the king holding his/Glimmers staff.

"Bring in the prisoners!" Angella called.

So Ben and Adora were brought before the king and queen while the guards watched their every move. The two looked up to the thrones. They instantly recognised Angella but they saw the man next to her, in squinting they soon realised how familiar he was and then knew why.

"Wait..isn't he…" Ben wondered.

"King Micah?! You're here?" Adora looked very surprised. "Oh, You look different then your mural."

"Yeah I gotta say I thought you'd be taller?" Ben questioned seeing the height difference between him and the queen. "Than Angella anyway?" The two were suddenly forced to their knees by the guards. "Hey easy!" Ben said, though he could've transformed to get them out of there but they decided to play along for now.

Micah then stepped up from his throne and approached the two, he drew a spell mandala and then cast it upon them causing them to yelp in surprise.

"Whoa what was that?" Ben asked.

"This is a truth spell, You will be compelled to answer honestly." Micah explained before asking his questions. "Now tell us, who are you and why did you break into Bright moon?"

"Uh, Ok, wow, This is gonna be a lot to explain, um." Adora realised.

"Yeah not even sure how to explain it really." Ben realised also.

"its going to sound a little weird but I swear its all true." Adora began. "Reality is collapsing in on itself because of the portal that Hordak and Catra set off. They're from the Horde, Except you don't remember the horde because the Fright Zone disappeared Like right now," Adora chuckled as she explained. "It was pretty crazy. It got erased by the portal but I promise it used to exist and we were fighting them with the Princess Alliance."

"Yeah see this is Adora and I'm Ben Tennyson, and this is gonna sound strange but I'm from a different planet called Earth." Ben then explained. "I wield a device called the Omnitrix that allows me to changes into a million aliens from the known universe cause well this world was cut off from it years ago."

Glimmer looked shocked while Bow just thought they were talking crazy. However Glimmer eyed Ben namely the device on his wrist and suddenly had a memory flash of the first time she saw him transform into a diamond headed being. But none the less they continued to listen as did everyone else in the room Micha looked at them rather strangely. Angella just squinted at the two of them and looked confused.

"And I had a sword that could turn me into an 8 foot tall warrior lady with really great hair called She-ra" Adora then added.

"Yeah that name sounds like something out of an eighties rock band but its way cool!" Ben then said. "See me and my…" Ben looked a little saddened by what he was saying next. "My partner Rook, were sent to investigate some strange anomalies in space and time the same anomalies that acted up when that portal was opened causing a tear in the fabric of reality." Ben continued. "But you don't remember all this because this world isn't real just an illusion to make it all look shiny and really it isn't." He stopped to catch his breath and let Adora finish the rest.

"This was caused when the Horde used the sword to set off the portal and we need Glimmer and Bow to help me and Ben stop it and save Etheria!"

"So uh..any questions?" Ben then said smiling nervously to the very silent audience.

"I.. Uh."Micah honestly didn't know what to say. Angella however was annoyed and wanted some answers.

"Who are you?!" Angella stood up from her throne annoyed. "How do you know my daughter and the royal apprentice historian?"

"Who?" Ben questioned but then realised she was probably talking about a certain archer. "Oh you mean Bow!"

"He's a historian here?" Adora wondered but remembered this was a what if kind of reality. "That doesn't matter, we're best friends."

"Oh man I wish Paradox was here." Ben muttered to himself. "Okay well let me explain where we're from Etheria is at war with the Horde, you and the king lead a rebellion against them and formed the first Princess Alliance then years later Adora finds a sword to become She-Ra then me and Rook arrive and join the fight. Bow and Glimmer are great fighters and awesome friends quirks and all."

"Yeah and while things were hard they always found a way to help us through it we've been there for each other and together we're the Best Friend Squad." Adora added.

Bow and Glimmer from their vantage point honestly weren't sure what to say about this. Though they've never known these people the feeling of familiarity still lingered in their hearts though their minds said otherwise.

"I've never seen you before?" Micah questioned. "And other planets, magic swords, aliens, portals it all sounds ridiculous. And I defiantly don't remember my daughter having two people like you as friends?" He said eying the two. "Next thing your going to tell me is that horses can fly?" He chuckled.

"Man now I know where Glimmer gets her sarcasm from." Ben muttered quietly.

"I actually did have a flying horse named Swift Wind." Adora suddenly remembered. Not really helping their case.

"And as for why you don't remember us your uh kingness." Ben said but was a little nervous as he really didn't like what they had to explain next. "Ah well…h..how can we tell you in a way that won't cause you to freak out uh well..."

"You're dead." Adora said which caused a shocking gasp among everyone in the room while Ben just turned pale and his eyes wide as he face palmed himself.

"Thats not how I would've said it." He groaned and as a result they were met by the generals sword.

"Are you threatening the king?!" The General glared.

"How dare you say such a thing!" Angella exclaimed standing by her husband in her arms.

"Angella." Ben tried.

"The correct term of address young man is your majesty!" She exclaimed in a strict tone.

"I'm sorry but none of this is right." Adora continued to explain. "You must have noticed it! Tell me what did you do yesterday or the day before?" Adora then asked.

Angella took a moment to think but the way she had her hand to her temple showed she was struggling to. "You can't remember can you!" Ben then said. "Think about it everyone says everything is perfect but it isn't because this world isn't real! It's an illusion a perfect illusion but life is never this simple!"

"He's right and if you cant see past it you'll lose touch with the real you and the real world. We might wish things could be perfect but its just a lie!" Adora agreed.

"I have heard quite enough!" She said holding her hand on her forehead and headed back to her throne.

"Your majesty, Angella I'm sorry but your husband isn't real." Ben finally admitted in his own pained tone as he explained. "He fell in battle long ago, this is only how you remember him!" He tried but nothing seemed to get through to her.

"Angella, It's alright." Micha comforted her. "They are clearly delusional." He said glaring at the two of them. "Their words are nothing but from addled minds."

"Please we need to talk to Bow and Glimmer! They're the strongest people we know! We need their help to stop reality falling apart!" Adora said to them.

"You have to believe us too many lives have been lost I already lost my home, my family and everyone I ever cared about we can't lose anyone else!" Ben pleaded.

However the queen still refused to listen and Micha's face turned hardened. "Guards, escort these people to our holding cell!" He ordered. This just made the guards all look at each other confused as they looked to their king. "The spare room." He grumbled.

The guards now knew what he meant and to Adora and Bens horror they were being dragged away. "NO GET OFF ME!" Ben yelled and tried to reach for the Omnitrix even though it was still recharging.

"Please you have to believe us you're all in danger BOW GLIMMER!" Adora called as they were both taken out of the room.

"Don't listen to her, she's lying. And that young man she's with is clearly a troubled individual." Micha said to his wife.

"But your truth spell…" Angella wondered.

"I must of done it wrong…" Micah realised but it sounded more like he was covering things up. "Theres no way anything they said could be true. It's- It's not possible!"

High above Glimmer and Bow had heard all, and they looked at each other very worried. They didn't want to believe it but this all seemed too familiar. They needed answers. So they teleported away.

The Bright Moon Prison (The spare Room)

Adora was gazing out of the window while Ben was sat with his back to the wall and his head down not even looking at anything. Adora saw how the world before her glitched back and fourth between a crumbling reality and a perfect world.

She sighed as she looked to the scrunched up paper with the words She-Ra written on it, she then reached into her pocket and looked to the keys that Rook had left for her. This made her look to Ben who did not look very good. She knelt down next to him.

"Are you okay?" She asked. Ben looked to her with tear stained eyes.

"No…no I'm not. I…I was already broken when I saw my home, my family and everyone I ever knew vanish before my eyes Adora" He said nearly sobbing. "R…Rook's sacrifice it…its just finished me off! I finally end up home with my loved ones and its only for one day!" He sobbed. "I..I see Glimmer with her mom, Spinnerella and Nettossa together and I know it sounds selfish but I wish I had everyone I loved with me! Even now i..it doesn't feel real!"

"But we can still change that we can bring everyone back." Adora told him. "Even your family and friends."

"Then what?" Ben said. "Even if we do…we'll still be stranded on Etheria cut off from everywhere else. A…and we'll never know if we even have a home left to go back to!"

Adora realised how right Rook was this world was taking its toll on not just her but Ben as well, maybe him more than most.

"I..I know. I understand, I find out that I'm a First One and I wonder where I really came from or if I have a family left to go back to." Adora said. "But I know that those around me are my family too, that means you as well." Ben turned to her. "Ben you have always been the leader, the adult, the brother…the rock we all lean on and you've always had that sense of justice and hope I've always admired. You've always kept us from falling apart well maybe its time you take your own advice."

Ben listened to what she was saying. "I don't think Rook would've done what he did, if he didn't think we'd be around to do something. But I'm still here." She gripped his hand tightly. "You've always been there for me, well thats a two way street Ben Tennyson, I'll be there for you if you need me and I know Glimmer and the others feel the same way."

Ben was honestly touched by what she said, and it was clear the girl who was in doubt of who she was meant to be had come a long way since she took up the sword. She was right he never lost hope in even the darkest times and tried to keep following the example that his grandfather set for him even when he thought he died.

"Really?" Ben asked rubbing his eyes. "I thought you were the girl who punches her feelings away?" He said trying to joke.

Adora just chuckled. "Hey, I'm working on that." She said.

Ben breathed a small laugh before he looked to her with a smile. "Thanks Adora, and not just for that pep talk but…for earlier." He said. "I could've done something really stupid if it weren't for you. Thanks."

"Hey thats what friends do right?" Adora smiled. "We look out for each other."

Just then Ben noticed something in her hand. "Hey what's that?"

She opened her hand and showed him the key devices. "Oh they're just something Rook gave to me before he…" Adora struggled with this next part. "But I don't know why he wanted me to have these."

Ben knew though, he recognised those keys all too well, Adora suddenly saw that look in his eyes and her gaze then turned to the Omnitrix and something just clicked.

"They're for the Omnitrix aren't they?" Adora realised but before Ben could explain. They heard a familiar sparkling sound. They turned to see Bow and Glimmer had teleported into the room.

Glimmer looked exhausted as Bow tried to support her before they faced the strangers in the room. "Bow! Glimmer!" Adora exclaimed happily as Ben jumped to his feet and they walked over to them "I knew you guys would.." Suddenly Glimmers fist lit up prompting the two to step back.

"Yeesh Glimmer trigger happy much?" Ben realised. "Glad to see thats not changed."

"Do you remember us at all?" Adora asked.

"Listen you crazy people! My dad has never messed up a spell, you were telling the truth in there, How can that be?" Glimmer said in a sort of demanding way.

"Of course you were listening in, I should've known." Adora said very fondly.

"I for one am not surprised you two were snooping, you always have a way of seeing things differently than others or sneaking off when the Queen says otherwise." Ben said fondly.

"Ok will you stop acting like you know us?!" Bow said angrily. "We've never met you!"

"Yes you have." Adora said.

"Yeah and you may not remember it right now, but I think you know somewhere in your hearts." Ben added.

"Bow, You saved our lives more times then I can count. You're a great fighter, a genius inventer, and you shouldn't worry about what your dads think." Adora said to him "They're proud of you, just like I am." Bow gasped at that.

"Exactly, and sure at times you think your in over your head but you never back down, not ever." Ben said. "You always manage to perk us up even in our darkest times, and Rook always respects the man you are."

Bow gasped as he saw a flash of memories of Ben and Adora, but one seemed significant to him most of all. His memories of Rook, one he considered a brother.

"And Glimmer." Glimmer yelped when Adora mentions her name. "you never give up or admit defeat, I know making friends is hard for you yet your the one who pulled us all together." Adora said with a warm smile.

"I've never met anyone like you." Adora smiled.

"None of that is true! I'm just a princess, and Bow isn't a fighter, He's.. Bow." Glimmer just said denying it all.

"Thats not true Glimmer." Ben said. "You guys are so much more than you think, you have courage that could move mountains and your the light that keeps us all going no matter what, sure your stubborn but you've never let that stop you." He said. "I know what we're saying sounds crazy but it's true and I think you both know that too."

Bow suddenly gasped as he gripped the navel area of his shirt. To him its all he ever knew but something in him sensed something was wrong.

"This-.. This isn't right.. I mean, everything is perfect." Bow said voicing his thoughts. Everyone keeps saying everything's perfect." As he spoke Glimmer seemed deep in thought and suddenly she had a flash, it was a memory of her as a little girl looking at a certain mural of her dad. As she returned to present day she looked saddened.

"My dad... He's gone isn't he?" Glimmer said with tears building up in her eyes and Bow instinctively walked over to her.

Adora and Ben looked with saddened expressions. "Yes." Adora admitted. "I'm sorry Glimmer."

"Its not real. Is it." Glimmer said to Ben.

"I'm sorry I wish I could tell you otherwise but its the truth." Ben said and then had an idea. "But maybe I can help fill in a few blanks." He reached for the Omnitrix which was now fully charged activated it and transformed to Shock Rock surprising Bow and Glimmer.

"Hey hey don't worry its still me." Shock Rock said and he approached them slowly. He reached out his hand slowly like he was asking Bow and Glimmer to take it they looked to Adora who nodded telling them it was okay.

So they reached out and took his hand and suddenly Omni-Enhanced Energy surged through them and their eyes turned white. At that moment a flood of memories came back to them, their memories of Etheria at war with the Horde, the battle of Bright Moon, what happened in the Crimson Waste and most importantly their attempt to rescue Adora and Ben so they could destroy the portal. After that flash they stumbled back startled and breathing rapidly.

"I…it really happened!" Glimmer breathed. "The..the Horde…the portal..Catra it all happened."

Bow then looked to Shock Rock. "Ben. What happened to Rook?"

Shock Rook lowered his head in grief he was dreading to answer that. Adora placed her hand on the stone part of his arm before she turned to her friends. "He…he sacrificed himself to save us. We wouldn't have made it here without him."

Glimmer covered her mouth in horror and Bow just looked heartbroken. "No." He breathed knowing the one he considered a brother was gone. Suddenly the whole room shook to the sound of a large boom making them gasp. They looked out the window and saw a blinding light that unfortunately wasn't the sun.

"Uh what's that?!" Bow asked.

"That Bow is the light at the end of the world or at least this reality." Shock Rock explained. "This reality is collapsing in on itself and if we don't find the portal and shut it we're all doomed."

"It's starting to happen here too. We don't have much time." Adora said.

"So, what do we do now?" Glimmer then said determined.

"We fix reality, uh, somehow.. Razz told us to go back to the beginning." Adora explained. "We think she meant She-Ra's beginning but we don't really know what that means."

"Yeah which means a piece of the puzzle is still missing." Shock Rock said.

"Ok well.." Bow said figuring this out. "You said a portal started all of this, Can you think of anyone who'd know how to make a…" Suddenly he remembered a certain individual he met in Dryl, a certain tech happy princess with a pension for certain forms of technology.

"Entrapta!" He breathed.

"Of course! Entrapta!" Adora realised. "She helped to build that portal!"

"Paradox said we needed to go to the source of the problem one that Entrapta helped to build!" Shock Rock realised. "Maybe she knows something that might give us a clue!"

"Glimmer! Can you teleport us to Dryl?" Adora asked Glimmer.

"What? I barely managed to teleport me and Bow in here!" Glimmer said rather doubtful.

"Aw come on the Glimmer I know wouldn't let this get her down!" Shock Rock said confidently. "You got more power than you realise sister!"

"Uh thanks but there's still the matter of us getting out of here cause I don't think you made the best impression on my mom and…dad." She said a little saddened at that last part.

"Then we'll just have to do this the Best Friends Squad way!" Adora said putting her hands on Bow and Glimmers shoulders confidently.

"Which is what?" Bow said a little nervous. Shock Rock and Adora shared the same knowing smirk on their faces.

Outside the guards stood vigil, just then a green blast of light emerged from behind the door which got the guards attention. Then suddenly *BAM!*The doors crashed down and jumping out was Wildmutt who gave a very loud roar, his friends were on his back, Adora rode up front with Glimmer and Bow behind her.

"Go Ben Go!" Adora exclaimed and the Vulpimancer took off running down the halls leaving the knocked out guards behind.

"This is how we normally do things?!" Glimmer exclaimed as she bounced up and down on the alien dogs back.

"Yeah, We improvise!" Adora exclaimed.

"I really don't like improvising!" Bow yelled as Wildmutt swerved round a corner.

Wildmutt then growls and snarls at his friends talking in his native language. "What?" Glimmer asked.

"Oh he said, you're a historian and you hate improvising you sure your Bow?" Adora then said translating for him.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE'S SAYING!" Bow yelled.

They rode down the hallway past some windows seeing the collapsing reality closing in on the castle. "Ok, we have to get out of Bright moon before it disappears like the Fright zone and Earth!" Adora said.

Suddenly the hallway around then glitched and they ended up in another hallway. They zoomed round a corner but Wildmutt quickly screeched to a stop when they saw the general in front of them. She took note of Glimmer on the Vulpimancers back.

"Princess, you shouldn't be…" The general then noticed the creature. "What is that thing!" She then saw Adora. "Is that one of the prisoners?" Out of nowhere Glimmer cast a flash of light that blinded the general giving Wildmutt a chance to run for it with his friends.

"I'm sorry!" Glimmer called.

He kept running through the hallways until they stopped at a wall that was starting to crack with the glow of the portal seeping through. "There was a door here!" Glimmer exclaimed.

"Its gone the reality is trying to stop us from leaving!" Adora exclaimed. Bow looked behind him and saw an even bigger problem.

"Uh guys!" Bow grimaced they turned around and they saw Angella and Micah standing behind them with their respective powers and weapons at the ready.

"Step away from my daughter! Now!" Angella demanded.

Everyone looked scared they were blocking the only exit Glimmer dismounted Wildmutt as she approached her parents. "Mom stop! Can't you see what happening?" Glimmer tried as reality was cracking around them. Angella's look softened when suddenly she had some flashes.

They were memories of Glimmer be it when they were arguing or even her hugging the group after the Battle of Bright Moon, when Adora first joined the rebellion to meeting Ben and even saw memories of when they threw a party for Ben and Rook and her most recent memories of the argument between them and how her daughter disappeared before their eyes. She snapped back to reality looking at the group but when she blinked she saw the cracks in reality.

"Angie? Micah said and Angella gasped as she began to see past the illusion everything was crumbling around her. "What's wrong?" He asked again.

Before anything else could be said. Wildmutt slammed the Omnitrix on his collar prompting Bow and Adora to jump off him as he changed into Gutrot. This surprised Angella and Micha which triggered more memories.

She saw Ben transforming into Big Chill for the first time, then of Shock Rock protecting her from Shadow Weavers attack before changing to Fasttrack. She snapped to reality again.

"Sorry about this ya mag!" Gutrot said as he crouched and unleashed a blast of gas engulfing the entire room blinding everyone. He, Adora, Bow and Glimmer emerged from the smoke and ran for it. Their eyes stung with tears in them.

"Gah! Ben what was that!" Adora exclaimed.

"A little something called tear gas sorry I panicked!" Gutrot explained while running. "I'm so dead if she remembers this!"

They kept running but again were met by another dead end. "COME ON SERIOUSLY!" Gutrot exclaimed. "This worlds gonna be the death of us!"

"It will be if we don't get out of here!" Adora exclaimed.

"Glimmer!" They turned round to see Angella and Micha standing behind them again. "Please." She begged.

"I'm sorry, For everything. But we have to make this right." Glimmer said with tears in her eyes. Suddenly a cracking noise was heard below their feet as the ground began to crumble. The group fell through the crumbling floor.

"Glimmer!" Angella cried but as the light flashed the walls stopped cracking and all seemed normal. They were nowhere to be seen. Her eyes shook she just saw her daughter disappear before her eyes.

Elsewhere:

The group suddenly fell in a hole in a metal roof and crashed down on top of Gutrot just as he timed out and reverted back to Ben. "Ugh!" He groaned on the bottom of the pile. "Of all the constants in this reality. DOES THIS REALLY HAVE TO BE ONE OF THEM!"

The group groaned as they got up and they found themselves in some kind of lab. However it wasn't just any lab. They looked and found a certain someone doing some welding and she was surrounded by robots, some of them had the appearance of familiar people.

She turned and saw the group in her lab as did her robots. "Hello!" Entrapta greeted. "Do I know you?"

"Entrapta!" The group exclaimed.

Bright Moon:

Angella stood before her castle and saw the cracks in reality destroy all around her. She looked down in shadiness she didn't want to admit it but she was beginning to see something was wrong.

"Angie?" Micah appears behind her grabbing her hands and turning her to face him. "We'll get her back, Angie, and then everything will be perfect again." He told her.

Angella wanted to believe this but from those memories she wasn't sure then she remembered what Ben said earlier.

"Your majesty, Angella I'm sorry but your husband isn't fell in battle long ago, this is only how you remember him!" Those words echoed in her mind. She began to see clearly.

"This is perfect my love, but it's not real." Angella said caressing her husbands face which soon turned sad. She began to remember.

Flashback Chapter 26:

"While you are here me and the others are out there fighting for the freedom of our world but you can't trust me to make my own decisions for the Rebellion!" Glimmer yelled at her mother. "My leadership has gotten us closer to winning this war than we ever did before. If it was up to you we would still be in hiding! But I am through hiding from Hordak this is our planet not his! You would see that if you weren't totally paralysed by fear and hide here instead of being out there with us its like you don't even care about the suffering the Horde brings to our people!"

Flashback Chapter 23:

"But I suppose my only regret is not being on the field of battle with her, she's much like her father always fighting for what's right while I stay here in the background." Angella said a little saddened.

She did have a point Angella did stay in the castle and though she provided aid during the Battle of Bright Moon she didn't really get out in the field. Ben could understand a bit as the Queen she can best protect the kingdom, but still even a leader must lead by example. But his was not to question why on this alien world.

Ben placed an understanding hand on the Queens shoulder. "For what it's worth your doing a better job than you think, and you did step up in that battle." Ben told her. "Plus I've heard that sometimes courage and fate can rarely call upon us at a moment of our choosing."

Present day:

"I remember now…" Angella admitted as Bright Moon began to crumble into oblivion around her. "I miss you so much... But Glimmer needs my help, and I can't stay with nothing but memories." She admitted.

"Angella I…I.." Micah tried but he couldn't understand what his wife was saying.

"Goodbye Micah." Angella kissed her husband on the cheek before she spread her wings and flew away from the crumbling kingdom leaving a confused and broken hearted Micha behind.

But as the light was closing in he suddenly began to see something. Something he remembered. "Angie, Angella wait! I'm not de….." He disappeared in the light along with the didn't look back at her home collapsing into oblivion, she wiped away a tear as she flew into the distance.

Meanwhile: Dryl:

Dryl the kingdom belonging to Entrapta stood tall as haunted house styled lightning crashed down around it. Inside the lab area Adora, Ben, Bow and Glimmer sat with cups in their hands as the robots poured some water for them. A robot butler rolled past and handed Entrapta who was sitting on her hair looking intrigued grabbing the drink in her hair hand.

"This is facinating!" Entrapta breathed. "I've never had non-robots visit me before! Usually it's just me and all my friends."

"Friends?" Adora and Ben said a little shocked.

Bow looked to one of the robots and its face lit up as if it was blushing. Prompting him to look away a little creeped out. "Aren't they amazing!?" Entrapta said as one robot came with a serving tray. "And if they break, I can just make new friends!" She tried pulling the serving robots head off but didn't and just rolled around laughing.

Ben was creeped out for some reason this reminded him of when he saw Animo in his prison cell talking to all his stuffed animals that he made.

"Tiny snacks?" Entrapta then offered and the robot lifted the lid of the serving tray to reveal the 'tiny snacks' was actually nuts and bolts mixed with salad and recently added condiments. This creeped the group out even further, and for Glimmer this triggered some rather unpleasant memories of when she and Ben switched powers. They shook their heads saying no.

"Oh, sorry about that. They're still getting the hang of human food." Entrapta said before she started speculating in her usual way. "Unless this is what you eat! I have so many questions, Tell me everything!" She thrusted a recorder in their faces.

Adora gently pushed away the recorder for a moment."O…kay the Mad hatters tea party remake aside." Ben then said. "Entrapta you gotta listen to us."

"Listen I know what we're about to say sounds crazy.." But before Adora could explain.

"Is this about the unstable portal slowly consuming and warping our reality?" Entrapta guessed.

"Now you're not gonna believe.." Adora suddenly realised. "Wait, What did you just say?"

"You already know?!" Ben said surprised. "B..but how?!"

"Oh, I figured it out a while ago." Entrapta explained as she went over to her computer. "An unstable portal is the only thing that would account for all the anomalies I've been picking up in my research." Her visuals showed the growing portal devouring everything in its path until it explodes. "The portal exists somewhere in our world and as long as it's still open it's gonna keep to destablising reality, making things disappear faster and faster until, Bam! Nothing's left!" She exclaimed getting right in the groups faces and starts laughing.

"Entapta this isn't funny too many people have been lost to that thing!" Ben exclaimed.

"Oh yeah I know it's a bad thing." Entrapta then said.

"How do we stop it?" Adora wondered. Ben meanwhile was pondering on this, and then suddenly he remembered he'd been in this situation once before.

"Wait thats it!" Ben exclaimed startling the group.

"Whats it?" Glimmer asked.

"The sword was what opened the portal but we haven't seen it and I think I know why!" Ben explained. "Remember how I told you guys about how the Highbreed planned to invade the Earth?"

"Yeah." Bow remembered. "You said something about how they were using this jump gate thing to transport their armies."

Adora suddenly realised what he was talking about. "Just like what the Horde were trying to do!"

"Exactly! And portals are basically doorways." Ben explained and Entrapta now intrigued paid close attention. "So a door out is also a door in."

"Yes." Entrapta breathed. "YES THATS IT EXCATLY!" She said as they turned to her simulations on the computer. "Portals are indeed gateways, Wormholes that connect one area of space to another, The only way to turn it off is from the inside." She explains showing the corridor between the portals.

"And what happens after that?" Bow asked.

"Well Professor Paradox said that when the portals sealed then reality will snap back together, everything should return to normal." Ben said.

"And bring everyone back." Adora added with some hope in her heart.

"Yes that should be the outcome." Entrapta said. "But there is one problem." She displayed a sim of a person behind bars. "whoever shuts down the portal can't leave. they'll be trapped between realities, possibly forever." She then gasped in amazement. "Oh! Imagine the data they could collect!"

"Wait, so whoever turns it off will be trapped inside it forever?" Glimmer said.

"Exactly." Entrapta confirmed typing on her keyboard, not even turning to the group.

"There must be another way!" Adora exclaimed. Ben briefly looked down at the Omnitrix in thought. "Try to remember Entrapta, when you and Hordak built the portal machine…" The moment she heard the name Hordak, Entrapta gasped and saw memories of her time in the Fright Zone with Hordak constructing the machine and even bonding.

"Remember...I.. remember, I had a lab partner, Hordak." She breathed happily. "we were friends and then Catra…" Her mood changed and she felt sad. "Oh, I remember everything now...I'm not really here."

Suddenly an earthquake rocked the whole lab and the cracks in reality began to seep through again much to the horror of Adora, Ben and their friends.

"Oh no!" Ben breathed.

"No, No this can't be happening already." Adora breathed in terror. "We should of had more time!"

"There is no more time." Entrapta began thinking aloud and suddenly came to a conclusion. "It all makes sense now, it's your sword, the portal is centred on you! It's following you!"She pointed to Adora.

Glimmer, Bow and Ben all looked at Adora who looked confused. "What?"

It was then the Omnitrix bearer realised what Entrapta was talking about. "I get it! The sword belonged to She-Ra, this is what Madame Razz meant! The sword is looking for its wielder!"

Adora was even more confused than before, but soon she began to realise what her friend was talking about. "The Beacon." She breathed. Then to her horror as the lab was breaking apart they saw a warm smiling Entrapta was fading away.

"No!" Adora yelled and tried to grab her arm but her hand just went right through her like a ghost.

"You need to remove the sword from the inside, It's powering the portal." Entrapta told Adora just as the roof was cracking open above their heads. "Bens friend Paradox is right as soon as it's gone everything will be alright again!" She said before she looked at them with a saddened expression.

"Ben." Entrapta said. "You were right…there are some things man nor princess were meant to tamper with…It was nice being friends with you all.."

"ENTRAPTA!" Ben and Adora yelled as the tech princess disappeared erased from existence just like all the others. Bow looked away disheartened and just as the robots were being sucked into oblivion.

The room glitched and the group found themselves outside a certain First Ones ruin. "Where are we?" Glimmer asked as they looked around.

"We're at the beacon." Adora realised.

"Makes sense this was where you started training as She-Ra." Ben realised but then they looked up to the sky. "Look!" Ben called and the group looked up to see another glitch that revealed.

"Stars!" Adora gasped but to her horror they were shining even clearer and Ben saw all the signs.

"Adora, what is happening?" Glimmer said now very terrified.

"It's what Entrapta said. Reality is unraveling faster now." Adora realised.

"Which means soon everything in existence will be erased forever." Ben breathed in realisation he'd seen this before with the Anialarg when it erased the whole universe forcing him to recreate it. Again his gaze was on the Omnitrix realising now how desperate this situation is.

"I – I think we might be too late." Adora breathed.

"No..its not too late we still have a chance!" Ben said to her holding her shoulders.

"Ben how can we…." Just then Adoras eyes shifted to the Beacon and thats when, she saw her. It was a dark skinned woman wearing what looked like futuristic blue and white clothing, and had her hair tied in a very long horse tail. They recognised her all too well.

"Isn't that." Ben breathed.

"Mara." Adora breathed she was face to face with her predecessor.

Suddenly the forest floor cracked between them causing them to back away and soon Mara was consumed by the event horizon and all that stood in front of them now was a wall of collapsing reality. Adora and Ben backed up to their friends seeing the devastation before them was this the end of the line?

Adora took a brief look back to her friends before coming to a decision. She looked back to them smiling. "Stay here. Entrapta said the portal is centered on me." They looked at her with scared looks on their faces. "You're at risk as long as we're together. If I draw it away…"

Ben suddenly grabbed her hand. "No, no way! I'm not leaving. No matter what happens I'm staying with you!"

"Hes right!" Glimmer said with tears in her eyes as she took Adora's hand too. "I know what you're thinking, Adora. You and Ben said you knew us? Well, we know you both."

The two looked at her with a teary smile as they remembered all the moments they shared with each other. Bow came over to them. "Adora you can't relax to save your life. You're terrible at acting." Bow chuckled. "And Ben you always put others needs ahead of your own and stay with us to the very end inspiring us to do more!"

"You're both stubborn, arrogant and headstrong, and you're our best friends and we love you both!" Glimmer said in sobs. However, where happiness thrives sadness and grief soon follow for then. Glimmer and Bow started fading away too, much to Ben and Adora's horror.

"What!" Adora breathed.

"No!" Ben exclaimed.

"You got this, Adora. We believe in you." Glimmer said with happy tears. "Look after our girl Ben!"

"Keep fighting guys you can do this! Do it for us do it for Rook!" Bow called. "Do what you do best…save the world!"

"No please we can't lose you too!" Ben exclaimed sobbing.

"Its okay." Glimmer said as she and Bow held hands and smiled.

"We'll always be with you." They both said as they faded from existence completely.

A distraught Adora collapsed to her knees and sobbed her eyes out while Ben stood there completely frozen in shock and tears rolling down his face as the trees were ripped from the ground and into the collapsing abyss.

In this moment when all hope was fading, Ben looked down at the Omnitrix and after all he was told by Entrapta and what could happen. He realised the meaning behind Paradox's clue. "When X meets the tip of the sword!" He breathed, he quickly knelt down to Adora.

"Adora!" Ben said to her and she looked at him with tear stained eyes.

"I..its over Ben…we've failed." Adora sobbed.

"No its not over yet! I know what we need to do!" Ben told her. "But I need the…" Suddenly he felt a surge of pain down his back. "GAHHHHH!" He was shocked with electricity and he fell to the ground unconscious.

"Ben!" Adora yelled trying to reach for him but someone stopped her a pointing clawed finger at her looked up and revealing herself.

"Hey Adora." It was Catra but completely distorted from falling into the rift. She was shocked but frozen. Suddenly Catra pushed her.

Then she landed on a wooden surface. She sat up and saw she was in the bar at the cantina in the Crimson wastes. Suddenly she heard laughing and saw Catra was sitting on her legs with a sadistic look.

"Oh... Where are your friends? Oh thats right they're gone, and Benny boy isn't here to save the day this time!" She said in a cruel sadistic way before she slashed at her but Adora ducked back to avoid it and grabbed her arm.

"Catra, stop. You have to…" Adora pulled her close but Catra just pushed her face back.

"It's always the same with you, Adora." Catra said. "I have to do this. Oh, we have to do that." Adora tried to break free but Catra had her in an arm lock. "Let's be honest, all of this is your fault." She smirked before she flipped her off the bar.

She landed in snow and saw herself at the Northern Reach in a red snow drift. She looked up at Catra standing over her. "If you hadn't gotten captured, your sword wouldn't have opened the portal." Catra spoke in a sickening taunting way. Grabbing Adora and tossing her onto the bridge over the excavation site close to the railing. Adora looked around for any sign of her when suddenly she appeared behind her and kicked her behind the leg causing her to hit the ground. She threw snow in her face blinding her.

Catra dragged her along the bridge and held her against the railing "If you hadn't gotten the sword and been the world's worst She-Ra, none of this would've happened." Catra pushed her off the bridge and she screamed as she fell.

*SPLASH!* Adora found herself under the water. She quickly swam to the surface only for a hand to grab her by the hair and pull her out of the water and she faced Catra.

"Admit it, Adora, the world would still be standing if you had never come through that portal in the first place. Maybe Benny boy would still have had a home if he'd never met you in the first place!" Catra thrusted Adora back into the water.

Adora then crashed onto a staircase in the Crystal Castle, as Catra walked in above her. "You made me this!" Catra yelled. Adora got up and tried to escape through the door, but found herself in the Fright Zone again. She was kicked in the back and she fell flat on the ground as Catra pinned her down with her foot.

"You took everything from me! Left me with nothing! Nothing at all!" She grabbed Adora by the jacket and threw her into the control chair on Mara's ship pinning her in.

"You broke the world, and it is all your fault!" Catra yelled in her face. Adora shook in horror and she realised that maybe Catra was right, this was all her fault the portal was centred on her, she failed to stop the Horde from opening the portal she was the reason all her friends were gone. She was beginning to lose hope. Until.

"Do not blame yourself for the choices of others." Paradox's words echoed in her mind.

"Whoever she was back then, the person she is now she's not the kind you help. She's the kind you stop, besides she made her choice. Someday you'll have to stop taking the blame for her choices." Bens words echoed as well.

Adora heard her friends words loud and clear and her look turned from sure horror to determination and anger as she looked to Catra. "No, it's not!" She yelled pushing Catra off of her.

They were now back in the tear within reality as Adora confronted the one responsible. "I didn't make you pull the switch!" Catra just smirked and charged at Adora trying to slash at her only for Adora to grab her wrist. I didn't make you do anything!" Adora exclaimed as she flipped Catra over her and she hit the ground with a yelp.

"I understand now all this time I've been blaming myself for no reason at all I've been letting my doubts get to me! Well guess what Catra, I'm not the one to blame I'm not the one who turned my back on the suffering of Etheria, I'm not the one who runs away when things get hard and I don't betray my friends who have been there for me!"

Catra growled as she clenched her fists in the cracks below her. "The only one responsible for all that has happened here!" She pointed her finger at her enemy. "Is you! Whatever bad things happened you did it to yourself! How many more have to suffer to atone for your actions?! And your doing all this for what to prove something to a witch who never cared about you! You let Shadow Weaver define who you are and you always will! I didn't break the world, but I am gonna fix it. I am done taking the blame for the damage that you caused!" Adora glared down on her. "And you? You made your choice."

Catra snarled and screamed as she leaped at Adora with every intent to kill her. "Now live with it!" Adora landed a punch square in her face and she hit the ground. Adora breathed heavily as she looked over her unconscious friend all the frustration and doubt she felt towards Catra had finally been put to rest.

"Wow." She looked and saw Ben was standing next to her holding his side. "You sure stopped taking the blame for her choices pretty quick."

"Yeah..I guess I did." Adora breathed. "And I'll admit. That sure felt good." This put a smile on Bens face his friend finally let go of all her doubts.

However this moment wasn't to last as suddenly the ground beneath their feet crumbled forcing the two of them back towards Catra. Ben tried to reach for the Omnitrix but before he could the ground they were on crumbled away causing the three of them to fall down into the abyss. Adora dropped the paper with She-Ra written on it before it burned out of existence.

They looked to find themselves falling in an endless void, when they looked at Catra they saw her burn away into ashes. Adora just glared as her friends obsession had become her downfall as she said it would.

"Good riddance." Ben said to himself. He tried to reach for the Omnitrix but when he did he saw his hands had become see through he was fading away too and when he looked to Adora she was fading as well.

The two looked at each other and realised they were now truly too late. This might be the end, so with tears in her eyes she reached for Ben and he in turn grabbed her hand and held onto each other till the very end.

"Adora! Ben!" They heard a voice and gasped and as they looked up. "Hold on!" They saw Angella swooping in to the rescue they held their arms up and she grabbed them both and flew them to safety.

They landed on the only remaining piece of reality that was left. The two heroes looked to the Queen very grateful. "Y..your majesty?" Ben asked.

"I remember, my friends." Angella told them. "I know this world isn't our own. How do we fix this?"

The two looked up in the sky above them staring at it Angella saw they were looking at something and she turned to see what they were looking at. It was the eye of a massive storm, and in its centre was a bright light and they saw it. The Sword of Protection, they had found the portal at last.

"Go back to the beginning." Adora realised getting Ben and Angella's attention. "Razz wasn't talking about She-Ra's beginning she meant my beginning. The the place I came through as a baby." Ben and Angella listened to what she was saying. "I can fix everything. I just need to go into the portal and pull out the sword." She turned round and faced them. "That'll turn it off and everyone will come back safe and sound just like Paradox said."

"And you'll come back safe, too?" Angella asked but the look in Adora's eyes told the Queen that this wasn't something she'd be able to come back from. "Adora, you'll come back, too, right?"

"No she won't!" Ben breathed. "She'll be trapped in a void forever with no way out." He breathed in horror. "You can't!"

"I have to do this. This is my destiny." Adora realised this is what she was meant for.

"Oh, Adora, no. This is not it." Angella said to her pulling her in a hug."

"But... this is the only way to fix things." Adora said in her sobs. Angella pulled away from the hug.

"I know." Ben said to her with a serious look in his eyes. "Thats why you're not going to do it. I will."

This put a look of sheer horror on Angella and Adora's faces as they gasped. "No you can't you'll be trapped in the void."

"No I won't." Ben said. "Paradox already told me how this one is gonna end. Besides I've got a transformation that'll get the sword and help me escape the void."

"Well then use it!" Angella said to him.

"But to do that." Ben looked to Adora. "I need the keys." He held up his wrist showing the Omnitrix.

Adora removed the chain from her neck that had the two keys. "What is this?" Angella asked.

"When I started using the Omnitrix again I unlocked an alien that was more powerful than all of my others combined." Ben explained. "But it was way too powerful for me to use all the time. So when I got the Ultimatrix I had Kevin build a security device into it so if it fell in the wrong hands no one could access it or worse for me to accidentally transform into it in the middle of a fight. But I got full control over it due to some uh…misunderstandings but as a safe guard I asked Kevin to install that same security into the new Omnitrix."

"But why would you lock this particular form away?" Angella asked.

"Because…" Ben said. "It has power equal to that of a god." Much to Adora and Angella's surprise. "So I swore I wouldn't use it unless I had no other choice." He looked up at the storm above. "And if there was ever a time to use him. Its now."

"But Ben even if this alien is that powerful what if it doesn't work what if you'll still end up being trapped?" Adora asked.

"If it saves all of reality and all of you it'll be worth it." Ben said. "If not…I'm no worse off. Either way its the only chance any of us have right now."

Adora wasn't sure about this she wouldn't condemn her friend to make her sacrifice but at the same time if this alien was that powerful he might have a chance. So with a heavy heart she took off one of the keys and handed it to Ben.

"Your sure?" Adora asked him.

"I'm sure." So Ben raised the Omnitrix and the dial popped up on its own. Simultaneously they entered the keys on the sides of the control dial and the Omnitrix started to beep until it flashed green.

"Transformation lockout overridden." The Omnitrix said and suddenly a large green light blasted from the dial surprising everyone which changed into what looked like DNA strands and returned inside it. The holo selection dial appeared showing the hologram of the alien that was unlocked.

"Transformation X now available." The Omnitrix said and without hesitation Ben slammed down the dial. The Queen and Adora were blinded by the bright light as he transformed.

When the light faded they both gasped at the form that stood before them now. The form was a muscular humanoid who's body was solid black minus his hands which were white and tiny stars all over his body it looked like a walking nebula. He had green eyes and had three horn like shapes on his forehead He also bore a small scar over his eye in highlights were all over his body. The Omnitrix symbol lay in the centre of his chest. This form was the most powerful of all of Bens transformations. This was.

"ALIEN X!" He proclaimed with the sound of three voices. The two are completely baffled by Alien X's appearance but for some reason Angella looked the most shocked of all.

"So the legends are real." She breathed.

In a darkened void of stars Ben awoke to find himself before Alien X's other two personalities. Serena the voice of love and compassion and Bellicus the voice or rage and aggression. The two powerful faces looked to see Ben their voice of reason had appeared before them.

"Oh look Serena if it isn't Ben Tennyson!" Bellicus said in something of a sarcastic tone.

"Why Bellicus I move it is Ben Tennyson after so long seconded." Serena said.

"Yeah listen guys I don't have time for the usual meet and greet, the whole of existence is at stake and…" Ben tried to explain.

"Kid, haven't you gotten the hang of this yet we must vote on any action we make, and last I checked we gave you control so we could argue in peace!" Bellicus said.

"Now now dear there's no need to be abstinent." Serena said.

Ben almost forgot how hard it was dealing with these two. But he knew how this worked. "Okay look I move you hear me out on what has happened."

"Seconded." Serena agreed.

"Motion carried." A rather hesitant Bellicus said. So Ben began to explain all that has transpired from him and Rook ending up on Etheria to the current point of when the portal was opened. The two beings seemed to be particularly shocked at the mention of the First Ones and She-Ra like there was something they knew. Then Ben moved onto explain the whole of reality collapsing.

"So thats why I need your help, if we remove the sword and I get stuck in the void I can use Alien X to escape and rejoin them when reality is restored." Ben finished his story. "So what do you think?"

The two faces looked at each other but they bore grim looking expressions before they turned to Ben with their answer.

"No." They said which shocked Ben to the core.

"What! What do you mean no! Alien X can do anything right?" Ben exclaimed.

"Yes he can." Bellicus said. "But your a little too ignorant of the obvious."

"Okay well enlighten me!" Ben said.

"As you know Alien X is the most powerful being in creation, however even he has limits." Serena explained. "His actions are limited, and from your story you are stranded in a shadow dimension which means his powers are limited, and with this worlds collapse in opening the portal there are certain cosmic laws even Celestialsapiens must obey."

Ben was beginning to understand what they were saying. "You get it genius even if you were to remove the sword the cosmic balance must be maintained someone must remain in the void." Bellicus said.

To say Ben was horrified was an understatement no matter who removed the sword they would remain in the void. There was no loop hole in this. But if nothing was done then all of existence would perish. So he made a decision.

"Well if it means my friends on Etheria can see another sunrise then I have to try." Ben said. "Are you with me?"

The two beings were admittedly impressed, despite all they told him Ben was still willing to sacrifice himself for a world he doesn't even know or call home. It was a hard choice but one he was willing to make.

"You have control of Alien X, kid therefore its your call." Bellicus said to him.

"I know but…I just needed to hear it from you." Ben said with an understanding smile.

Serena smiled knowing exactly what he meant. "Seconded." She turned to Bellicus.

"Motion carried." He finally said.

Back in the collapsing reality, Angella and Adora still gazed at a still motionless Alien X. Adora looked close at him. "Ben?" She asked.

His head turned to look at her startling the two of them, before his gaze turned to the portal above them. "I know what must be done." Bens deep voice bellowed. He started to levitate up into the air but he looked back to his friends one last time.

The two looked at him with the same confused expressions. However when Angella looked at his expression she saw all, she knew what was about to happen. While Adora looked confused.

"When you see them…" Alien X said. "Tell them I love them all…its been an honour." He blasted off into the portal at mach speed.

"Wh..what?" Adora breathed but she suddenly began to see. "Wha…why is he saying this!" She looked to Angella.

"Because." Angella said saddened. "He knows he's not coming back." She breathed in horror. Adora looked in horror her friend was sacrificing himself.

Alien X soared into the sky and entered the eye of the portal, where the Sword of Protection hovered humming with power. The Celestialsapien looked upon the sword and with a heavy heart he remembered his family, and his friends from both Earth and Etheria and a lone tear escaped from his eye.

"I love you all." He said as he reached out to grab the sword handle. However before his hand could make contact something struck him from behind. He was durable enough to withstand the blast but as he turned round he saw Angella grab him by the shoulders and pulled him out of the portal before she tossed him away.

Alien X quickly stabilised himself and looked up at the portal and Angella. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"He yelled.

Angella looked down to him and to Adora who wasn't too far below them. "Do you both want to know a secret?"Angella asked them much to their confusion. "I am a coward."

"What?" Alien X and Adora breathed.

"No." Adora said.

"I've always been the queen who stays behind." Angella told them. "Micah was the brave one. And then Glimmer... Oh, Glimmer." She smiled fondly as she looked down where Adora was to see her daughters staff in the grass. "So much like her father. And once again I stayed behind, letting her make the hard choices, letting her be brave for me. I told myself I was being responsible, but…I was just scared. And then I met you." She looked at the two of them. "Adora you inspired us. You inspired me. Not because it was your destiny, but because you never let fear stop you."

She then looks to Alien X "And you Ben for one so young, your courage, wisdom and leadership have all but transformed the lives around you. Including my own. In a way the two of you are more special than you know The fact you were willing to sacrifice yourselves for a world you barely know, or even help a cause beyond your abilities proves you are every bit the heroes I have seen you grow to be. The heroes who inspired Etheria to stand and fight for what they believe in." Angella told them. "And now. I choose to be brave."

The two gasped realising what she was going to do. "Angella! No please!" Adora breathed.

"I am sorry, but the Rebellion needs the two of you now more than ever." Angella explained. "This is my choice." She then flew up towards the portal.

"No! Your Majesty! Angella!" Adora called out to her.

"ANGELLA DON'T!" Alien X called however he found he couldn't move.

In the void Ben realised he couldn't move his form one inch. "What…why can't I move!" Ben exclaimed but then he looked to at Serena and Bellicus realising they had something to do with this. "WHY ARE YOU STOPPING ME!"

"Because she's right kid." Bellicus hesitantly admitted.

"She is doing what her heart commands we cannot interfere, her fate is already sealed." Serena said in sadness.

Ben just couldn't believe this there was nothing he could do to stop the Queen, he wished…he just wished that there was a way for her to survive this. However it is said sometimes a single thought can make a big change.

Angella flew right into the eye of the portal and was soon before the Sword of Protection but unknown to her it briefly glowed green before returning blue. With a brave look she reached out and grabbed the sword handle and tried to pull it free. It sparked with energy and surged through Angella she struggled with effort to pull the sword free.

All Adora and Alien X could do was watch in horror, but then Angella looked back to them with a warm loving smile.

"Take care of each other." She said before she finally pulled the sword free and the whole portal was consumed in a bright light that blinded all around it. The light soon faded and the portal was sealed.

The sword descended down slowly from the sky, and it landed in Adora's hand before the glow faded. She was in tears over the loss of the Queen. She wasn't alone, for then Alien X landed in front of her with a look of sadness and remorse in his eyes. Adora sobbed and wrapped her arms around his waist crying her frustrations out as he embraced her.

In the void Ben was on his knees in a mixture of grief and anger. "Why! WHY!" He yelled as he looked back to Serena and Bellicus. "Why did you let that happen! She deserved to live why shouldn't she!"

"Our deepest sympathies for the loss of your friend Ben Tennyson, but it was her choice, and we could not interfere." Serena said.

"Oh don't even start with that cosmic order crap! We had all the power in the universe and we could've saved her! She…she has a daughter how do you think we're going to tell her!" Ben yelled.

"This is what you signed on for when you became a Hero Ben Tennyson." Bellicus said. "For every choice there must always be a cost. You should know that more than most its the way it always is."

"We understand you question our ways, but in the end you must decide whether one life is worth sacrificing to save a thousand." Serena then said with a bit more compassion.

He didn't like it but Ben knew in their own way they were right. Being a hero wasn't all fun and games, and sometimes the tough choices weren't the easiest to make no matter what he had to sacrifice or who.

"How do Adora and I restore reality now?" Ben asked.

"Oh its far too late for reality now." Bellicus said rather harshly. "The damage that portal caused is irreparable and is beyond repair.

Ben looked shocked was all this for nothing? "But." Serena then spoke. "It can still be restored. If Alien X's power is used in conjunction with say…A First Ones artefact."

Then suddenly it dawns on Ben the true meaning of Paradox's clue. "When X meets the tip of the sword!" He breathed, however before he could do anything.

"Hey kid." Bellicus then said getting his attention. "If there was ever a time for you to heed our words this is the time. Take some advice, don't go putting your faith in the First Ones."

To say this confused Ben was an understatement not only did these two great beings know about the First Ones but they were telling him not to put his trust in them.

"Whu…what do you mean?" Ben asked.

"There is much about them that you do not know Benjamin." Serena then voiced. "They are not what they seem."

In reality Adora was still sobbing her frustrations out when she felt a hand on her shoulder and she looked up to see Alien X looking down to her.

"Lets not let it be for nothing." He said to her in some sadness, which Adora understood. She wiped away her tears and then pulled away with a determined look. She raised her sword in the air and Alien X placed his hand on the blade focussing his power and the blade glowed. So as they proclaimed together.

"FOR THE HONOUR OF GRAYSKULL!"

All was consumed in a bright light as the swords power and that of the Celestialsapiens was unleashed restoring reality itself. The light faded and suddenly everyone was back in Hordak's lab. Bow and Glimmer now back in their normal attire held onto each other while Rook was close to them, as they opened their eyes and looked around. Hordak and Shadow Weaver were on the ground completely surprised. Catra breathed out in shock as she felt the side of her face and it was back to normal.

Rook looked at himself and saw he was back in his advanced white Proto Tech armour. This meant only one thing. "They did it!" Rook breathed looking to Bow and Glimmer. "Reality has been restored!"

However their attention was then drawn to the portal machine as the portal itself surged out of control sucking in everything around it. Then suddenly it was like time stood still, Catra looked round to see the rubble merely stopped in place. Before the portal exploded in to a bright light.

From that light were two figures walking out, and as they emerged from the portal it was revealed to be She-Ra with her sword in hand and right by her side was Alien X.

Glimmer, Bow and Rook all looked with joy and amazement but the two Etherians all looked at the alien standing next to She-Ra. "Is that…Ben?" Glimmer asked.

"No." Rook breathed. "Alien X!"

Hordak however looked at this alien in sheer horror. "I..it cannot be!" He breathed.

With one yell She-Ra slashed at the portal machine and smashed it to the ground, and Alien X follows that up by using his powers of telekinesis to levitate the machine into the air. With his hand he drew a white circle and with one slash it struck the machine and it was as if time had taken ahold turning the machine to dust before their very eyes.

"You want the honours?" She-Ra asked and Alien X's attention then turned to the room and namely to Hordak's terror stricken eyes.

The Celestialsapien levitated into the air and then looked with glaring eyes, this was where the machine was created and Hordak may yet make another. So he decided.

"Never again!" He breathed with two other voices behind his.

He focused all his power and slammed his fist into the ground sending out a world shattering shockwave that shook the entire lab causing it to crumble around them. Alien X then shifted his hands and with his powers over gravity tore the lab equipment and screens apart with no remorse. She-Ra joined this as her aura glowed and jammed her sword into the ground sending out a shockwave of light destroying everything in its path.

"Incredible!" Shadow Weaver breathed amazed at this aliens power.

Hordak just watched as his lab was crumbling to pieces but it wasn't just his work it was Entrapta's work as well. However his grief was interrupted when Catra pulled on his arm.

"We have to go now." Catra told him. The lord of the Horde just held his hand on the First Ones tech that lay in his neck piece before he breathed defeat and fled the lab with Catra in tow.

She-Ra turned to see her enemies flee, Catra turned to look at her with a glare. However this time She-Ra didn't bare a look of guilt it was one of great anger as she glared Catra right in the eye. She saw the anger was visible in her eyes and she looked a little intimidated, and she knew why. Before she fled some force lifted her in the air and held her in place in the middle of the room.

Floating down was Alien X glaring her right in the eyes. Catra was helpless and unable to do anything. "From this point forward every breath you breathe is a gift from us!" Alien X's voices boomed in anger. "Now listen and listen well, as of right now Glimmer, Bow and everyone of our friends in the Rebellion are off limits. Your quarrel with with Adora and I. For if you ever attack one of our loved ones or hurt one of our loved ones! Then I promise you. You will regret it for whatever is left of your nine. Very. Short. Lives!"

Catra was truly intimidated by this alien for once she was truly terrified because she knew he meant it. "Cross me again. And I'll finish what I started." Alien X boomed as he released his influence over her dropping her to the ground completely paralysed in fear. She-Ra then appeared above her glaring at her.

"I hope it was worth it!" She glared. "You are responsible for your own decisions. And now you deal with the consequences that follow. As of now… you're dead to me!"

Those words stuck Catra hard, harder than any abuse Shadow Weaver could ever deal to her, without another word Catra fled the lab with a look of fear and sadness in her heart as a lone tear ran down her remaining bonds of friendship they may have had were now shattered permanently.

It was in that moment the Omnitrix chose to time out and revert Alien X back to Ben who was now back in his rebel attire. Though he still had his scar that would stay there as a reminder of what they went through.

"ADORA!" "BEN!" The two looked and they instantly embraced the hugs of Bow, Glimmer and Rook. Tears were present in their eyes that they were all reunited.

"See? We told you, you could do it." Glimmer said in between sobs.

"Was there ever any doubt?" Ben said in great joy.

"Not one bit!" Bow said.

"I..I'm just glad your all back!" She-Ra said in sobs. "You especially Rook."

"Yeah man." Ben said as the two shared a hug the kind brothers would share. "But do me a favour don't ever pull a stunt like that again!"

"Agreed." Rook smiled. "But you must admit. It was worth it."

"Woo-hoo!" The group looked and arriving on the scene was Frosta, Perfuma,Mermista, Nettossa, and Spinnerella. Who wasted no time embracing the group in a hug who more than happily embraced them back. "Yes, we did it. We did it." Frosta cheered as she hugged the group.

"Oh so now you guys show up?" Ben teased.

"Shut up." Mermista smirked. "Besides do you know how many bots we had to smash to get here?"

Just then Spinnerella noticed the scratch on Bens face. "Oh my..what happened to your face?"

"Ah just a disagreement between me and a crazy tabby cat you know how it is." Ben said.

"I think it looks cool!" Frosta beamed.

"Oh please." Mermista scoffed.

"Touching as this is, we need to go." Shadow Weaver called getting everyones attention, Adora was rather shocked to see her as was Ben. "Now!" She offered her hand of escape.

Despite the glares among the group they knew she was right it was time they escaped. So they headed over to her while Bow helped She-Ra and Ben along. "Uh did we miss something?" She-Ra whispered.

"Long story we'll explain later." Bow whispered.

"Remind me not to ask." Ben said.

The group then stood in a circle around Glimmer and Shadow Weaver who took each others hands as the spell seal appeared and magic began to surge into each other. Glimmer cringed in pain from all the power but kept her wasn't long until the group were consumed in the magical force and disappeared from the now completely destroyed lab.

Seconds later they reappeared again with their feet touching the ground. The opened their eyes and saw they were back in Bright Moon just before sunrise. Everyone cheered in delight as Perfuma hugged Shadow Weaver much to her irk. Then she moved to emrbace Rook in a hug who was more than happy to return it.

"Rook." He broke the hug and turned to see Ben and She-Ra standing behind him. "I don't say this enough and probably haven't yet but..I'm honoured to have you as my partner." He smiled warmly.

The Revonnahgander smiled back in return. "As am I my friend." She-Ra then handed back the small key devices.

"I think these are yours." She-Ra smiled which Rook accepted.

The two then looked to Shadow Weaver, and they had to admit without her help the rest of the team wouldn't have come to help. "I..I guess we owe you one Shadow Weaver." Ben said.

"Yeah..thanks." She-Ra admitted. "But this doesn't change anything."

"Your welcome." Shadow Weaver simply said.

Just then Frosta hugged Bens waist and was soon followed from a hug by Nettossa. While Spinnerella hugged She-Ra. Bow swung Glimmer around in the air in a celebration hug.

"We did it. Did we do it? We did it!" Bow cheered with joy.

"I'm probably going to be grounded for the rest of my life, but reality is back to normal." Glimmer admitted before Bow lowered her to the ground. "Speaking of which, I guess I should go find my mom." The mention of that made She-Ra freeze up and had a look of grief all over her face she felt a hand on her arm and saw a nodding Ben telling her she deserved to know the truth.

"Maybe she'll be so happy to see me that she'll forget about grounding me." Glimmer said with some hope but she noticed how saddened her friends looked. "Adora? Ben? What is it?"

The wind blew around them as this was the hardest thing they ever had to do. She-Ra then transformed back to Adora and embraced Glimmer in a hug as she cried. "Angella, she stayed behind. She… She…"

Glimmers eyes teared up as she realised what Adora was saying as she weeped in her arms. "She saved us…She saved us all." Adora said in tears.

Everyone looked in grief, Queen Angella the leader of the rebellion had sacrificed herself so they could live. They honestly didn't know how to react to all of this. Rook just clenched his hand in sadness and grief for his friends. Ben reached into his pocket and then, he felt something in it and when he pulled it out he was surprised.

"Glimmer." A grieving Glimmer looked at Ben who looked at her with sympathy. He held out his closed hand and when he opened it. It was a jewel that Angella wore on her forehead. The princess accepted it and just clutched it to her chest sobbing in sadness. Adora and Bow hugged her from behind as Ben and Rook joined them in their grief soon followed by the other princesses as they joined Glimmer in her grief.

"Hey." Ben said to her. "She was a hero to the end. What's say we send her off like one." Glimmer looked with tears in her eyes a she nodded in agreement to that idea.

Just as dawn was breaking everyone was gathered below at the lake side. Everyone from the Rebellion and the Princesses respective kingdoms were present to the memorial of the leader of Bright Moon. Castaspella and those of the magic council were present as she wanted to pay her respects to her sister in law. Shadow Weaver was present under of them held a candle of respect in their hands.

Glimmer, Adora, Bow, Ben and Rook came out first, with the princess holding a memorial wreath in her hands made of her mothers favourite flowers. She was followed by Mermista, Sea Hawk Perfuma, Frosta, Swift Wind Spinnerella and Nettossa who all were silent in grief as they approached the water everyone remained in silent. Glimmer shed one tear that fell on the wreath as she laid it into the water and it began to float away.

Adora, Bow and Ben held onto Glimmer in support as she grieved. Rook slowly held Perfuma's hand as they paid their respects even Sea Hawk and Mermista held hands, Frosta stood with Swift Wind while Spinnerella and Nettossa stayed close to each other. Casta held her head in respect while Huntara stood with her she may not have known the queen but she knew when to show respect. The same was shared with Shadow Weaver for despite her past she knew when to show respect.

Adora looked to Rook and nodded giving him a signal, and so Rook stood before everyone present.

"And so we pause to reflect on the loss of the Queen of Bright Moon, and leader of the Rebellion. Angella." Rook said delivering the eulogy. "Some of us here have been beside her since the fight to free Etheria began." He looked to the other Princesses as they remembered their own parents from the first Alliance while Casta smiled. "Some of us she had only just come to know." Adora and Ben smiled hearing this. "We did not come here to honour a queen we came to honour a true hero who sacrificed herself so that those of us here could live to see the light of day and see the day when Etheria can be free."

Far away in a far void of space Angella lay unconscious in the never ending void lost for all eternity. However suddenly a bright light shone over her and she fell into someones arms. She tried to open her eyes but only saw a blurred figure with what looked like a metal gauntlet on his right hand and a long coat.

"Your story isn't over yet my dear." said a rather comforting voice as he carried her from the void and into parts unknown.

"For to others she was a leader, and a queen but to those of us gathered here she is and always will be… a mother, a mother to us all. We shall never forget you Angella and we hope that you find some peace at last." Rook ended the eulogy.

Bright Moon:

Later that night all in the kingdom was quiet as they all dealt with their grief. Rook looked out from the balcony and looked at a holo picture of his family after all they went through in the portal reality the memory of his family still lingered. He too began to wonder if they will ever return if there is a home to return to. Perfuma came up from behind him and saw he was saddened and homesick. She put her hand on his arm and gave him an understanding smile and the two shared a hug.

Meanwhile:

Ben was walking down the hall and arrived at the door leading to Glimmers room. He wanted to check up on her to see how she was doing. As he slowly opened the door he looked to see a warming sight. Glimmer was asleep near the window in Bows arms who had been there for quite some time, comforting his friend in her time of need. They always found comfort in each other. Ben smiled warmly it seemed the archer had beaten him to the punch. So he shut the door leaving them be. He continued his walk down the hallway and soon he found another he was looking for. Adora was sat at the entranceway leading to the Moonstone, and Ben soon joined her as he took his jacket off and put it on her shoulders to keep her warm. He then sat down with her.

"Glimmers asleep." Ben breathed. "I think she's gonna be okay." He smiled.

"I'm glad Glimmers okay." Adora then looked up to him sobbing and with tears in her eyes. "Cause I'm not."

Ben looked with an understanding face and sat closer to her. "I..it should've been me, it was my destiny to save Etheria if I'd only stopped Catra sooner Glimmer wouldn't have lost her mother."

"Thats not on you. Its like I said before some things are beyond our control." Ben said to her. "I know this because I felt the same way when I thought I lost my Grandpa Max. It wasn't easy for me or Gwen we thought we could've done more. The man was like a second father to me and to lose him like that. It just didn't seem real."

"How'd you get past that?" Adora asked.

"I didn't it still haunts me to this day." Ben said. "But I still went on honouring all he stood for because thats what he'd want me to do."

"Yeah maybe." Adora realised. "But all the suffering we saw in that reality, and all that happened before that it's only been making a point thats been proven to me over and over again." Adora gripped her arms tight. "That the Catra I knew, the one I was raised beside is gone, and all thats left is this monster she's let her obsession turn her into. And I won't let anyone else suffer for her choices. I'm going to make sure she doesn't hurt anyone else ever again and I won't rest until the Horde is stopped no matter the cost." She said glaring.

Ben placed an understanding hand on her shoulder. "You won't be alone, because we have something that the Horde doesn't, something worth fighting for." He smiled.

Adora was content in hearing his words of comfort and they looked out at the Moonstone glistening in the night. Then Adora spoke her thoughts. "You wanna know something weird." she spoke getting Bens attention. "I..I still remember it all not just what happened after I woke up there but, my whole… other life. I remember my friends making a birthday cake out of ration bars to celebrate our victory."

"Yeah I know." Ben chuckled. "I still remember that good old American breakfast Grandpa Max made us when we had our family breakfast. Which is weird because I know for a fact he normally goes for the spicy bug larva."

"Ewww seriously?" Adora chuckled in mild disgust.

"Now you see why I told you not to come hungry if you ever met him." Ben chuckled. "And word to the wise never go for the Splug al Grotten worst genetic experiment the Plumbers ever made. BLECH!"

Adora made a light chuckle at Bens attempt at humour and it did seem to lighten her spirits. "Still it does make you think about the life that could've been." Ben then wondered.

"Yeah, if I hadn't met Glimmer or Bow or even you and Rook my life would've gone a whole lot differently." Adora realised. "Looking back on it now…I wouldn't have changed it for the world not one bit."

"Neither would I." Ben smiled in agreement. "Same goes for Rook."

"But despite everything. That reality wasn't all bad right?" Adora then asked. "I mean, you guys were finally home."

Ben smiled warmly at that as he looked out at the nights sky. "Yeah, but you know. For the first time in a very long time." He then looked to Adora smiling. "I feel like I have come home."

Adora shared the warm smile he had on his face as she huddled closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder. "Me too." She breathed.

The two friends looked out at the night sky and unknown to them a lone star briefly shined in the skies above Etheria looking down on them. As it is said stars are like departed loved ones still watching them from afar. All they could do now was take solace in the fact that the worst was now behind them.

Etheria's Orbit:

On one of the great moons of Enchantment that orbited Etheria something was hidden on the dark side of it, and a light revealed it to be a certain star ship that was already on its way thanks to the recent collapsing reality they were now where they needed to go.

From the bridge Psyphon stood looking out at a hologram of the planet before them. "So it would seem that strange anomaly that trapped us has brought us to where we seek. Master." He looked back to the throne that lay in the ship and a certain conqueror was sitting on it.

"Indeed, and very soon vengeance shall be mine." Vilgax's eyes glowed bright red as the Mechamorph armour he was wearing. "MUAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"His laughter echoed all around for now his goal was in reach at last.

Elsewhere:The Known Universe:

In a darkened throne room with what looked like screens of star charts before him a shadowy figure sat upon his throne tapping his fingers on the arm of screen looked like a spiderweb. Just then a beep came from the screen indicating it had picked up a signal.

It revealed an image of Hordak at the source of this signal. "So, that's where you've been, little brother." He sneered.

For this throne room was actually a sanctum aboard a massive space station surrounded by fleets and fleets of curved arrow shaped star ships. This was the full might of the Hordes Armada before several planets one of which had been previously destroyed. This fleet was under the control of the true master of the Horde Empire, the one known to all as. Horde Prime. Now his sights were set on finding where his 'little brother' was hiding and conquer all that stood before it seems now, that the worst. Is still to come.

Authors Notes: Dun dun dun! What an awesome conclusion to the portal arc and season 3 huh? So as many of you have guess I intended to use Alien X for this final part of the story to restore reality. Now the reason he couldn't save Angella or pull out the sword himself was because according to my research Alien X's powers can often be limited pending on what universe he's in that and what cosmic laws that even god like beings have to obey. Plus if I changed that it would take away what in my view was an important character development for Glimmer going forwards. But as I said there is a change of fate and I have a feeling we'll be seeing Angella again but not on Etheira at least for now hint hint. Also it didn't hit me until I worked on this but I think Micah was trying to tell Angella something before he faded from existence and I think we all know what it was.

Now for Angella's send off I felt this was a needed element because before season 4 we never got to see if Angella got a memorial service after her 'sacrifice' and so I added that in. As for Catra's little warning I decided that Alien X should put the fear of god into her quite litterally, plus I felt Adora should get a final word in other than a hateful glare.

For now though all of reality is restored, but now we have danger looming in from both sides of the Despondos curtain setting up the worst that is to come. But now Glimmer has a new path ahead, that of a queen. See you at the coronation chapter! Oh and now back to my other stories!

Until next time FOR THE HONOUR OF GRAYSKULL!
