The night air was shattered by the roar of the Nine Tails, a deafening sound that echoed through the streets of Konoha. The massive beast, newly freed from Kushina Uzumaki's seal, loomed over the village, its eyes glowing with malice. Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, stood atop a rooftop, surveying the chaos with grim determination.
"Half of you evacuate the village and keep the young Shinobi away!" he commanded his Anbu guards. "They are the future of this village. The rest, with me. We need to contain the Nine Tails."
Hiruzen Sarutobi
Fugaku Uchiha, who had been on standby, spotted the colossal beast rampaging through the village. His eyes widened in shock, but he quickly composed himself. He turned to his wife, Mikoto, who was cradling their newborn son, Sasuke.
"Mikoto, stay here with Itachi and the baby," Fugaku ordered. "I'll take the Uchiha and help subdue the Nine Tails."
"Be careful, Fugaku," Mikoto replied, her voice trembling with worry.
Fugaku nodded and dashed out of the house, gathering his fellow Uchiha clan members. They moved swiftly towards the heart of the village, where the Nine Tails was causing the most destruction. Alongside the Uchiha, members of other prominent clans also rallied to the defense of Konoha: the Hyuga with their Byakugan, the Aburame with their insect jutsu, the Akimichi ready to expand and smash, and the Nara clan to shadow-bind the beast.
The Village Defense
The Uchiha were the first to engage, their Sharingan eyes glowing red in the night. Fugaku led the charge, directing his clan with precision.
The Hyuga joined the fray, using their Gentle Fist techniques to target the beast's chakra points. Hiashi Hyuga barked orders to his clan members, "Keep moving! We can't let it focus on any one of us!"
Meanwhile, Shibi Aburame's insects swarmed the Nine Tails, trying to drain its chakra. The Akimichi, led by Chōza Akimichi, expanded their bodies and launched themselves at the beast, their massive fists colliding with its fur.
As the battle raged, Minato Namikaze placed Naruto in a safe spot, creating a protective barrier around his son. He then teleported to Kushina's side using his Flying Raijin technique. The masked man stood nearby, his Sharingan eye visible through the hole in his mask.
Minato vs. The Masked Man
"You," Minato growled, his eyes narrowing at the masked man. "This ends now."
The masked man chuckled darkly. "We'll see about that."
Minato wasted no time, hurling a kunai imbued with his Flying Raijin mark at the masked man. The man effortlessly dodged, but Minato teleported behind him in an instant, aiming a Rasengan at his back. The masked man phased out of existence, causing the attack to miss.
"You can't hit me," the masked man taunted, reappearing a few feet away. "But I can certainly hit you."
The masked man launched a barrage of kunai at Minato, who deflected them with ease. Their battle was a blur of high-speed movements, each trying to outmaneuver the other. Minato's superior speed and teleportation techniques kept him one step ahead, but the masked man's intangibility made him a frustrating opponent.
Meanwhile, deep in a forest far from the chaos, Sasuke Uchiha panted heavily, shirtless and drenched in sweat. Orochimaru's experiments were brutal and unrelenting, pushing Sasuke to the edge of his endurance.
"Enough for today," Sasuke said, his voice hoarse. "I have to hurry back to the village."
Orochimaru, his serpentine eyes gleaming with interest, watched Sasuke with a smile. "Very well. When will this meeting continue then?"
Sasuke didn't answer. He simply grabbed his shirt and left the hideout, his mind set on returning to Konoha.
Fugaku led the charge with his Sharingan blazing. "Attack the legs! Immobilize it!"
Fugaku then turned to the Nara clan. "Shadow bind it, even for a few seconds!"
Shikaku Nara nodded, forming hand seals. The shadows stretched and intertwined, latching onto the Nine Tails and holding it in place momentarily.
With the Nine Tails momentarily restrained, Fugaku activated his Mangekyo Sharingan. Gasps of awe rippled through the ranks of the defenders as they saw the powerful technique for the first time.
"Calm down," Fugaku commanded, his eyes locking with the Nine Tails'. The beast's thrashing slowed, its eyes losing some of their ferocity.
Out of the corner of his eye, Fugaku noticed something moving in the sky. A figure descended toward the Nine Tails, hovering ominously above. It was Momoshiki, his white skin and whitish-grey hair standing out starkly against the night sky.
"I will be taking this Jinchuriki for myself," Momoshiki declared, his voice dripping with arrogance.
Several Uchiha immediately launched fireball jutsus at him, but Momoshiki simply absorbed the attacks with his palm. "Is this the best you can do?" he sneered, sending a massive fireball back at them.
At that moment, Sasuke appeared in front of the fireball, holding out his hand. "Almighty Push!" he commanded. A force field surrounded Sasuke, extinguishing the fireball.
"Jutsu won't work on him. Only taijutsu will," Sasuke announced, drawing his sword with his one arm. "I'll take you down just like I did your partner."
Momoshiki smirked. "I've been waiting to tear you limb from limb for what you did to him."
Sasuke and Momoshiki clashed in a flurry of movements. Sasuke's blade met Momoshiki's blocking techniques with a sharp clang. The two warriors danced around each other, each seeking an opening.
Momoshiki threw a powerful punch, but Sasuke deftly dodged, countering with a swift slash of his sword. The blade grazed Momoshiki's arm, drawing a thin line of blood. "You're fast, Uchiha, but speed alone won't save you."
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "We'll see about that." He sheathed his sword and launched into a series of rapid taijutsu strikes. Each punch and kick was precise, aimed to exploit any weaknesses in Momoshiki's defense.
Momoshiki deflected the blows with ease, smirking. "Is that all you've got?" He swung his arm, summoning a massive energy blast. Sasuke leaped into the air, avoiding the blast by inches, and countered with a spinning kick that caught Momoshiki in the side.
Minato, still engaged with the masked man, heard the roar of the Nine Tails and knew he had to end this quickly. He formed a Rasengan and teleported directly in front of the masked man, aiming the spiraling sphere at his chest. The masked man phased through again, but Minato anticipated the move. He left a Flying Raijin mark on the man's cloak as he passed through him.
"You can't keep running," Minato said, his voice steady. "I'll protect my village and my family."
The masked man smirked beneath his mask. "You're too late. The Nine Tails will destroy everything."
With a swift movement, Minato teleported directly behind the masked man and struck with a kunai. This time, the attack connected, the kunai slicing through the cloak and leaving a deep gash.
The masked man staggered, blood gushing uncontrollably from his wound. "This isn't over, Fourth Hokage," he hissed, before disappearing in a swirl of space-time jutsu.
Meanwhile, Minato, having placed Naruto in a safe spot, teleported to Kushina's side. She was barely conscious, her body weak from childbirth and the extraction of the Nine Tails. Minato's heart ached at the sight of his wife in such pain.
"Kushina, hang in there," Minato urged, his voice filled with worry.
Kushina managed a weak smile. "I'm... trying," she whispered, her strength fading.
Minato knew he had to act quickly. "I have to seal the Nine Tails again, but Kushina won't survive another sealing," he thought to himself. He made the painful decision to split the Nine Tails' chakra.
"I'll seal half of the Nine Tails into Naruto and the other half into myself," he resolved.
Back at the battle, Fugaku and the other clans were struggling to keep the Nine Tails subdued. Fugaku's Mangekyo Sharingan was powerful, but the beast's sheer strength was overwhelming.
Momoshiki, still battling Sasuke, glanced over at the Nine Tails. "Such a magnificent beast," he mused. "It will be mine."
Sasuke, noticing Momoshiki's distraction, seized the opportunity. He launched a fierce assault, his movements a blur. "I won't let you take it!" he shouted, his determination fueling his strikes.
Momoshiki parried Sasuke's attacks with increasing difficulty. "You're persistent," he spat, his frustration growing.
Suddenly, a burst of chakra erupted from the battlefield. Minato appeared, his expression resolute. "This ends now," he declared.
Minato formed a series of hand seals, preparing to perform the sealing jutsu. As he worked, the other clans redoubled their efforts to keep the Nine Tails restrained.
Fugaku, sensing Minato's plan, directed the Nara clan to bind the beast once more. "Hold it steady!" he commanded.
Shikaku and his clan members focused their chakra, the shadows binding the Nine Tails tighter. Fugaku's Mangekyo Sharingan flared, reinforcing the command to the beast to remain calm.
Momoshiki, realizing what was happening, attempted to intervene. "I won't let you!" he roared, charging at Minato.
Sasuke intercepted him, blocking his path. "You're not getting past me," he growled, his Sharingan blazing with determination.
The two clashed again, their battle fierce and unrelenting. Sasuke's movements were fueled by the need to protect his village and his family. Each strike, each block, was executed with precision and resolve.
Minato, with a final hand seal, completed the jutsu. A bright light enveloped the area as the Nine Tails' chakra was split. Half of it was sealed into Naruto, the other half into Minato.
The Nine Tails let out a final roar before collapsing, its immense chakra now divided and contained. The roar of the Nine Tails subsided, leaving a heavy silence hanging over Konoha. Minato, holding his newborn son, Naruto, felt the weight of the moment. He had just sealed half of the Nine Tails' chakra into Naruto and the other half into himself. The village, though damaged, had managed to subdue the beast.
However, the calm was short-lived. Momoshiki, enraged by Minato's actions, stood hovering above the battlefield, his eyes locked onto Minato and Naruto.
"You think you can seal the Nine Tails and escape my wrath?" Momoshiki's voice boomed. "I will extract both halves from you and your seed!"
Sasuke, still engaged with Momoshiki, noted the change in his opponent's demeanor. Realizing that taijutsu alone wouldn't be enough, Momoshiki took a step back, summoning the Golem of Otsutsuki. The colossal, humanoid figure materialized, its presence intimidating and awe-inspiring. Gasps of fear and amazement rippled through the onlookers.
Before Sasuke could react, a familiar voice echoed behind him. "Summoning Jutsu!" A massive toad, wearing an open shirt and carrying a sword, appeared in a puff of smoke. "Alright, Gamabunta, let's handle business," Jiraiya called out from atop the toad.
Gamabunta, the giant toad, landed with a thud, shaking the ground. Jiraiya, perched on his head, quickly entered Sage Mode, his eyes taking on the characteristic orange pigmentation. "Let's show this thing what we're made of!"
Momoshiki sneered at the new arrival. "Another insect to squash."
Jiraiya smirked. "We'll see about that." He began forming hand seals, drawing on nature energy. "Fire Style: Toad Oil Flame Bullet!" Gamabunta spewed a stream of oil, which Jiraiya ignited with a powerful fire jutsu. The massive, flaming torrent surged toward Momoshiki.
Momoshiki dodged, knowing he couldn't absorb the nature-infused flames. The Golem of Otsutsuki lumbered forward, attempting to crush Gamabunta with its immense fists. Gamabunta leapt aside with surprising agility for his size, swinging his sword to slice at the golem's arm.
Momoshiki, recognizing the threat posed by Jiraiya and Sasuke, summoned a barrage of chakra rods, launching them at both combatants. Sasuke deflected several with his sword, while Jiraiya used his agility and Sage Mode perception to dodge the rest.
Jiraiya leapt from Gamabunta's head, landing beside Sasuke. "We need to take him down together. It seems he can't or won't absorb nature energy, so keep him on his toes."
Sasuke nodded. "Understood. Let's end this." Remembering how he took down Kinshiki.
The two launched a coordinated attack. Jiraiya summoned more nature energy, creating multiple shadow clones that surrounded Momoshiki. "Sage Art: Massive Rasengan Barrage!" Each clone held a Massive Rasengan, converging on Momoshiki from all sides.
Momoshiki snarled, forming a barrier to block the attack. The ground trembled as the Rasengans collided with the barrier, causing a massive explosion. As the dust settled, Momoshiki emerged, battered but not defeated.
Momoshiki, now desperate, launched another assault. His chakra rods pierced through Jiraiya's defenses, causing the Sannin to stagger. "You can't defeat me with your pathetic tricks!" Momoshiki declared.
Jiraiya gritted his teeth, struggling to stay on his feet. "We'll see about that..." But he was clearly on the back foot.
Suddenly, a powerful voice rang out. "Summoning Jutsu!" Tsunade appeared atop Katsuyu, the giant slug. She immediately jumped down and began healing Jiraiya, her hands glowing with green chakra. "Hang in there, Jiraiya!"
Momoshiki watched with irritation. "Another nuisance."
Just as the Golem of Otsutsuki was about to crush the two Sannin with a massive punch, a huge snake erupted from the ground, intercepting the blow. Orochimaru had arrived, his serpentine summon hissing aggressively.
"Orochimaru," Jiraiya said, a mix of relief and wariness in his voice.
"I couldn't let you two have all the fun," Orochimaru replied with a smirk.
The three Sannin now stood together, their combined might barely managing to hold Momoshiki at bay. "Even with the three of us, we're barely holding on," Tsunade muttered, wiping sweat from her brow.
Momoshiki, unfazed, continued his relentless assault. "Is this the best you can do?" He mocked, absorbing their attacks and countering with his own devastating jutsu.
Sasuke, watching the struggle, knew they needed a decisive move. He stepped forward, removing his cloak. The moment it hit the ground, he summoned his full-sized Susanoo in a dramatic fashion. The massive, ethereal warrior materialized, its wings flapping powerfully, lifting Sasuke into the air.
"Let's finish this," Sasuke intoned, drawing back the massive bow of his susanoo. "This ends now." Momoshiki looked up, his eyes widening in realization of the impending attack. "You think that will stop me?"
Sasuke's eyes blazed with determination. "Im sending you back to where you came from." As Sasuke unleashed Indra's Arrow, the air crackled with energy, and the entire battlefield seemed to hold its breath...
