Hours had gone past, and there was no sign of anybody coming to rescue them.

Not even the people who had put them in that situation had come by to gloat.

King had already lost hope, and Maroon was slowly losing it.

"Yep. We're stuck. Nobody's gonna get us out of here."

Something was thrown through the window, causing a small shattering sound.

"What the-"

"Purple?!"

Both King and Maroon jumped up, watching the window intently.

"Wish it was Purple..." The voice said, sliding the window open.

"Victim!"

"Thank God they didn't get you!"

"Well," Victim said, grabbing King's arm and pulling him through the open window. "They almost did. Some alien wannabes busted into the base and started attacking. I was able to escape after leaving Agent in charge after he said he could fend for himself, and then started looking for Purple."

"Purple's in another dimension overrun with monsters, and has most likely become a giant worm's next dinner."

"Purple's a smart kid," Victim snapped at the dark red stick. "I doubt he's become the next meal of some giant worm."

Something smashed from around them, and the city erupted in screams of terror.

The ground shook from underneath them.

"What in hell-"

A giant footstep shook the ground again.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Maroon screamed.

King and Victim glanced up, almost freezing on the spot.

"Holy shi-"

"Heaven Of The Flesh."

Purple ran towards the control panel, which he was surprised was still able to work.

"Vic, I'm gonna need you to tie that down as best you can!" Purple snapped, spawning in a lasso and tossing it to Victim.

"What are you-"

"Do you three want to live to see another day or not?"

Victim stared at the boy before twirling the lasso and wrapping it around the Harvester's bulb.

"You two," Purple tossed two more lassos and King and Maroon. "You hold onto the tendrils."

"And you're going to..."

Purple grabbed a match and lighter. "I'm gonna burn that bitch."

Did Purple essentially know what he was doing?

...No. No he didn't.

Did he think The Harvester was going to die if he set it on fire?

...No.

But, they were all technically the same thing, according to Victim, so they should mostly have similar murder methods.

Meaning it should be easily to kill it just by setting the bastard on fire.

"Alright, bitch. Time for you to-"

One of the tendrils broke out of the lasso, attempting to snatch Purple.

"Get down!" Victim screamed.

Purple dodged the tendril, jumping downwards. Using what little time he could have, Purple grabbed a match from the small box he'd snagged after the Meat Snake encounter and threw it at the monster's defense, just as the lassos snapped.

One of it's tendrils grabbed Purple's leg, slamming him into a wall before it finally succumbed to the flames.

"King, give him space!"

"That's my kid, Mar! We all saw him die!"

"King, back up! Purple will explain everything as soon as he wakes up, and your making it worse, now calm down!"

Purple had to wake up to the chaos of screaming.

"Ow..."

"Purple!" Victim, ever the only logical one of the trio, helped him to his feet. "Are you alright?"

"I feel like I was just thrown into a wall...which I was, but I'm fine."

"Well, we got the Harvester under control, and I think it's dead, but we have it quarantined and locked up just in case."

"Well, that's good. I'm not dealing with that thing anymore."

"Okay, can we just...clear up what the hell Purple's doing here?!" Maroon asked.

"Right, right."

Moments later, King, Purple, Mar, and Victim had bunkered down as a precaution so that none of them died if another monster got out. King, as Purple mentally expected, was clutching Purple for dear life.

For a reason Purple could entirely understand.

"OKay, so the Silver from this dimension set out all the monsters here, and caused the who Vita Carnis thing. The Purple from this dimension tried to stop them, but was killed." Maroon explained.

"Except, we didn't find a body or anything. Mar, you can even agree on this," King snapped. "We searched everywhere in the vicinity of this base, and there was nothing."

"Come to think of it, we've taken out all of the monsters except for the Monoliths...and the Monoliths need something to worship..."

"So the Monoliths just stand around and pretend their in a cult?" Purple asked.

"Essentially."

"What if the Purple in this dimension is being worshipped by Monoliths?" Victim suggested. "It could explain why we haven't found a trace of him."

"Yeah, but...if they took him, where did they go?"

"Good...question..."

Maroon suddenly noticed the shaking ground beneath them.

"Guys...?"

King tugged Purple closer. "What's going on?"

"Victim, there's an entire beast out there!" One of the agents screamed form outside.

"Fuck."

"Is that another dimension?!" Another screamed.

"Another dimension?"

"It's gotta be Purple's! Come on, guys! We've got dimensions to save!" Maroon declared, running out of the room with the others close behind.

Right before he was roughly thrown into the others by an unseen force, and Purple's vision failed again.

"We're gonna be celebrating a Fourth Of July out here tonight." Silver tells them.

"You son of a bitch." Maroon snaps. "When Purple wakes up-"

"Oh, and what makes you think Purple will-"

The stick in question tackled Silver a second later.

Silver attempted to throw him into a wall, but failed since Purple dodged the attack entirely, pulling Silver to the ground and slamming the box door.

"Stay!"

Second on instinct slammed his fists on the door, watching the timer tick down.

"Purple, run! Your gonna get caught in the blast!" He screamed.

Purple threw Silver off of him before ducking into one of the cages Second had originally been trapped in.

Victim noticed what Purple was doing. "Agent! Lock the cage down!" He shouted.

Agent tried to lock it down, before the building fell eerily silent.

The timer had stopped.

"Oh, fuck."

Purple, not sensing any better option, ducked out of the cage and crashed through a window. Not caring about any injuries at the moment, he ducked behind a tree and waited for the explosions and ground shaking to cease.

Thundering footsteps filled the area as the explosions ceased once again. The city had gone into hell mode, and he hadn't found any of his friends.

He last saw Second and the others return to their desktop, but King and Mar...only God knew if they were still alive.

What had Silver unleashed?

"Okay...time to stop these guys."

He had finally gotten enough weapons(and courage) to march up and attack one of the bigger monsters. Was it a good idea? Oh hell no. But, it was a better idea then any of his others.

Although this one still meant he may or may not die.

One of the large monsters Purple could understand were "Monoliths" stormed past him, barely a few feet between the monster and the small boy. Purple chased after it, trying to stab it with a large stick, but missing.

"Fuck!"

One of the tendrils grabbed his leg, sending him flying upwards. Purple attempted to grab his branch, but was snatched by another tendril.

"God damnit! Put me down, you bastard!"

God damn, he was higher than he thought. Aren't these things 100-something meters in height?

The creature watched him for a moment before calmly placing him on it's head.

"What the..."

It didn't make a move to eat him or rip him apart?

What was it doing?

Purple watched the Monolith intently as it continued walking. It didn't try to move it from the triangular top of it's body, so he didn't make a move to climb down.

He could have been hundreds of feet in the air for all he knew, so making any move to jump or fall of the head of the beast was going to result in a splat and instant death.

"Huh...maybe you won't try to kill me." Purple said to himself.
